Our trek through the Everfree Forest, after having stopped multiple times to rest and eat some snacks we got from Zecoras. Hidding from some more creatures we encountered in process. Instead, it looked like a mix of a medieval and modern city. But what really took my breath was a castle in the distance near a mountain, looking like it was built on top of a giant crystalline tree.

I had to remind myself that, according to Zecora, Twilight is a princess and probably lives in that castle, even if she had very few duties in comparison to her superiors. She seemed much more lax with formality than them too, I guess.

We passed through a fenced entrance into Ponyville proper, the dirt road being replaced by a proper stone-tiled street. The first thing that I noticed was the massive amount of mares in comparison to stallions. I remembered spotting two or three as we walked towards the Town Hall, and also that they all are kids, being shorter than me. The second thing was how colorful the ponies were. Every single one had a different shade of the rainbow and variations of it.

“Actually… I just want to see my bedroom and rest.” I shrugged tiredly, “We can study together later.”

Twilight appeared disappointed but then quickly brightened up, “Alright then, I’ll guide you to your room. I have some spare maps in case of visits that require me to stay here and I don’t have time to give them a tour.” She explained.

“Smart thinking.” I commented, the alicorn raised her head while she smiled with pride.

We continued walking through the corridors, even if it was incredibly beautiful, it would be very easy to be lost in these halls. After a couple of minutes and sets of stairs, we arrived at a level series of doors, “This is one of the guest room wings. The castle itself has another two wings, but this one is for more important guests.” She pointed to a door with a number four dash one, removing a key with the same number marked on it before giving it to me, “Here's your room.”

“Thank you.” I opened the door, my eyes widening at the sight. The bedroom would fit in a five star hotel. A king sized post bed made of smooth crystals with red see-through curtains, a gigantic wardrobe, two bookshelves, a nightstand, a desk with chair, a dressing table and a door leading to a bathroom. “I-I….
