It has been Eight Years since the Demon King Piccolo was defeated, the second Piccolo that Kami had warned them about had yet to make his move. During that time, Bulma was the winner of the 23rd and 24th Budoukai Tournaments, Sunset and Goku not entering instead focusing their efforts on training to face Piccolo.

During the 23rd Budoukai Tournament Bulma met a woman in the ring named Chi-Chi who was looking for Goku. After introducing them they spent quite a bit of time together, she joined in the training and soon she got married to Goku. The year after that, Bulma and Twilight got married.

Goku and Chi-Chi had a daughter named Miso a black haired girl with a tail, who was taught both academics and combat by her family. Grandpa Gohan despite his age helped in teaching. Sunset’s blindness has persisted over the years leaving her to require help with a lot of things around the house. Goku often helped her shower.

They had been keeping close contact with the others but they didn’t come together all at the same time often. Sunset and Goku flew alongside Miso who was dressed in a similar martial arts uniform to her parents. The three of them landed, Miso ran over and gave Scootaloo a massive hug “Scootaloo! Want to play!”

Scootaloo grinned “Sure, try and catch me!”

Goku and Sunset who were now fully grown smiled “I’m glad she gets along with Scootaloo.”

Twilight gave them a thumbs up “Me too, I was worried that living out there would be quite lonely.”

Roshi pointed back to the kitchen with his thumb “Bulma is helping with the cooking and…” Everyone turns around as they feel a fearsome and powerful energy.

A tall being with spiky black hair landed, he wore a strange suit of armour and a strange machine. The most noticeable feature, the figure glared at Goku “I see you haven’t wiped the planet out yet brother!”

Everyone looked at him in shock except for Goku and Sunset. He then looked at them with his scouter, he frowned “Hmm power levels of 1,400 and 1,500. That is pretty impressive.”

Raditz then smirked as he saw Miso, he rushed over and grabbed her by the tail “If you want you daughter back, I want the corpses of on a hundred dead inhabitants of the planet!”

Goku growled “I don’t care if you are my blood, you have no right to make demands of me! This is my home!” Before another word could be spoken, he slammed his knee in Goku’s gut.

Sunset leapt at him only to be causally backhanded “I was expected better from you Kakarot.” He then grinned “If you follow me you will face the wrath of Raditz!”

Miso wailed as she was taken away “Daddy, help me!”

Goku and Sunset roared in fury “MISO!” Sunset and Goku stood up “We will get her back!”

Bulma ran out only to see the angry looks on Goku and Sunset, before she could speak a green figure stepped out “I will help you.”

Sunset turned to him “Piccolo I can only assume that met up with Raditz. He is really powerful.”

Piccolo nodded “Yes and if I wish to rule the world I must destroy him as a threat. If the world is destroyed then I can’t rule it.”

Goku spoke with incredible fury “Enough talk, I want my daughter back! We are going now!” The trio of them took off at rapid speed.

As the three of them fly across the landscape, Sunset frowned “We could try and grab his tail. That would be our best bet to defeat him.”

Goku nodded “That made me weaker. I just hope it works.”

Raditz frowned as they landed “I’m surprised you found me and you are working with that pathetic Namekian! You know I was meant to bring you back to the others but it looks like I’ll just have to kill you!”

Raditz rushed forward as they prepared to defend themselves, Raditz kicked Sunset in the gut while slamming Goku in the face “Is that really all you've got.” Raditz flinched as he felt someone grab his tail, he flipped over and kicked Piccolo next Sunset and Goku. Raditz smirked “Even if you somehow get me there are three Saiyans who would make me look pathetic. You should give up.”

They all noted that statement as Sunset turned to Piccolo “Any techniques that might work.”

Piccolo nodded “One but I need you to buy me some time to charge it.”

Goku grinned “Do it, we’ll buy you the time.” Piccolo placed two fingers to his forehead and began charging.

Goku and Sunset rushed at Raditz, Raditz smirked “I don’t know what you were planning but it won’t work!” Sunset and Goku charged up energy into their hands, Raditz shouted as his scouter measured the energy output “A power level of 2000!” He leapt back avoided the blast, he then noticed another power as he turned to Piccolo “3500! I won’t let…”

Sunset grabbed him from behind “Piccolo, now! Do it!”

Piccolo smirked as Goku roared “NO!”

Piccolo pointed his fingers forward “Makankosappo!” A huge piercing beam of light with circular energy around it pierced through the both of them.

Raditz and Sunset fell to the ground, Goku ran over to Sunset “Mum! You can’t die!”

Sunset laughed “You can always bring me back, that’s what the Dragon Balls are good for. Besides even if they couldn’t someone has to stop him.” She then took one last breath as she stopped, moving a smile on her face.

Sunset’s body then dissapeared, Piccolo looked up “Kami has plans for her. That I can assure you.”

Kami’s voice filled the air “That I do, she will train with another in the Other World. Once she has done her training we will bring her back.”

Meanwhile with Kami, Kami brought Sunset to a massive pink ogre sitting at his mighty desk. Kami bowed “King Yemma. I wish for you allow Sunset to make her way to King Kai’s world.”

King Yemma frowned “That is a dangerous journey, are you sure you want to follow that path?”
Sunset nodded, King Yemma let out a sigh of relief “I don't actually have a file on you. Someone else has their hands on it so I can’t actually send you anywhere.”

Sunset bowed “Thank you King Yemma. Where is am I going?”

King Yemma nodded “You need to follow Serpent Road. I looks like a Serpent, you can’t miss it.” Sunset bowed in thanks before flying out to Snake Way.

Piccolo(Makankosappo): 3500
