It had been five years since the short lived threat of Buu, on a distant world that looked like an upside down pyramid with a great tree that had no leave standing in the centre. In a room the purple cat Beerus, the universe’s God of Destruction was sitting there. He was holding a necklace, a dark pink female’s portrait was in it.

Beerus frowned “I was too clingy wasn’t I Pinkamena. You faked your death because I wouldn’t leave you alone, I hope to see you again soon.” He put the locket of his Egyptian style garb, he walked out of his home.

The blue skinned angel Whis awaited him, Whis smiled “Lord Beerus, I see you have emerged from the chambers. I have noticed an interesting development. There has been a surge of godly energy coming from a remote planet called Earth.”

Beerus looked at Whis with a smirk “Well then I suggest we should check it out. Godly energy turning up on a planet like that is strange, besides I could use a good fight.” Whis began to teleport them both.

Meanwhile on Earth, everyone was on a cruise ship for Bulma’s birthday. Tien and Piccolo were in the corner. Jackie and Yamcha were arm wrestling on a table. Vegeta was helping Sunset off the ground after she was tripped over a chair that Scootaloo had knocked over earlier while running around the ship. Bulma was chatting with Miso, Chi-Chi, Videl and Pinkamena.

Everyone frowned as they felt two powerful energies approaching. Pinkamena gritted her teeth “Beerus, the God of Destruction is coming! Why did he have to come here!”

Videl raised an eyebrow “I’m sensing some animosity here.”

Pinkamena grimaced “Well he is my ex-boyfriend from over 75 million years ago. I couldn’t love him the way he loved me so I broke up with him but he refused to give so I faked my death.”

It was at that moment that Beerus and Whis, Beerus noticed her almost immediately. He looked away from her as she stormed off. Whis raised a curious eyebrow “What was that about?”

Beerus rubbed the back of his head “She was my ex.”

Whis smirked but stayed silent (This will be fun.)

Beerus shook his head “Anyway, I came here because of the large amount of godly energies on such a remote planet. I also was hoping for a good fight.”

Yamcha stepped forward, activating Mana Mode 2 “I’ll fight you first.”

Bulma smirked “Well this will be interesting. I was worried that my birthday party would get boring.” Yamcha flew towards Beerus at incredibly speed, Beerus was stunned as he kicked across the ocean.

A drop of blood came from his mouth. Beerus grinned as he pulled out more power, the two clashed in the sky. Pinkamena watched as they exchanged punches “Wow, I didn’t think they got that strong. How is the weakest of the group keeping up with Beerus at 50% of his max power.”

Beerus was exchanging blows with Yamcha “This is the best fight I’ve had in eons!”

Yamcha grinned “Well let’s go all out.” Beerus and Yamcha powered to max, exchanging blows of immense power.

In the other world, Kaioshin and Kibito were watching with their jaws wide open as the energies were reaching their realm “What are these mortals!”

Beerus smirked as they exchanged blows “You really are impressive. I never thought I would meet a mortal like this.”

Yamcha grinned “Well now I’m going to show you something cool.” Yamcha’s aura glowed a fiery red as did his eyes, his power skyrocketed.

Beerus felt the intense godly power radiating off Yamcha, Beerus was frozen “How are you so strong.”

Yamcha grinned “I’m the weakest fighter here except maybe Videl but she is catching up fast, everyone on that boat was stronger.”

Beerus grimaced (He is stronger than Whis, how are these mortals so strong!)” Beerus put his arms down “You are far stronger than I can imagine. I think I may stay here a while, my power is far inferior to yours.”

Yamcha and Beerus landed back on the boat, Whis frowned “I need to attend to something.” Whis teleported away to a private space, he opened up communications using his staff “Grand Priest, we need to talk.”

A shorter version of Whis appeared in the staff “Whis, you wouldn’t contact me unless it was serious.”

Whis nodded to the Grand Priest “Father, I have located mortals that have far surpassed Beerus and I. What actions should I take.”

The Grand Priest summoned his staff, he slammed his staff into the ground power radiating across the multiverse “I decree this to be a godly matter. You have permission to train these mortals in our ways.”

Whis returned to the party, Beerus was eating a plate of pudding. Everyone else was enjoying themselves except for Pinkamena who was glaring at Beerus from across the room, Whis rolled his eyes (I have my work cut out for me with those two. )

Sunset walked over “So, you are Whis?”

Whis nodded “Yes, and I have something to announce. I have been given the go ahead to teach you all in the ways of the gods. To teach you the abilities they we reserve for the gods”

Jackie smirked “That sounds fun. I’m certainly game.”

Videl grinned “Maybe I can catch up to all of you. I am still behind.”

Miso put a hand on her shoulder “Relax. We have been doing this for over a decade. You have made astounding progress in these last five years.”

Whis walked over to Bulma with a smile, he whispered “I will need your help with something as well.” He gestured to Beerus and Pinkamena “I intend to sort out their weird things they got going. I was wondering if you wanted to help.”

Bulma grinned “Oh, you mean shipping. I love shipping but none of my friends I know actually have any real interests in that department re are already in a relationship. I will help.”

Whis smiled “This will be fun.”
