Sunset entered an underground system of caves, the walls appeared to made out a crystal like rock and were held by heavily enchanted wooden beams. Fleur alongside several Inquisitors were with her, they soon found a damaged empty railway. Three Inquisitors stepped forward and combined their magic into a huge temporal field rewinding the entire railways back to perfect condition with a mine cart sitting on top of it. Sunset and Fleur hopped int the cart “We will go on ahead, then send the cart back for you.”

The cart hurtled itself across the railway, powerful enchantments holding it to the rails. They soon arrived at the end, thousands of Chrysalis’ Changelings were sitting on the roof. Sunset looked to Fleur “Do you wish to handle this or should I?”

Fleur drew her sword “It’s been a while since I’ve had to play with this many, might be fun.” The Changelings flew at her, firing magical blasts Fleur danced around them with ease as she fired powerful blasts of magic through her sword at them turning huge groups of them to ash.

One Changeling shuddered behind a slightly larger female one who was shaking her head. The female one shouted “Enough! Stop fighting!”

The Changelings bowed to her “Princess Ocellus, pardon us but our Queen ordered us to prevent anypony from passing.”

Ocellus growled “You idiots, it is obvious that if they are down her they found out about us. Those are the inquisition, the ones who have been responsible for weeding out all of our spies. They could wipe all of us out in an instant, it will be in the best interests of the hive to co-operate.No3w stay put while I take them to the Princess.”

Sunset nodded “We will be very grateful, I hope you will be a better leader than your mother was. This invasion was poorly planned out.”

Ocellus rolled her eyes “I am disappointed in Celestia, I was thinking she would burst in here with the fury of the sun but nope it was you. I’ll take you to where she is is being kept.”

Fleur frowned “You look very different that the other changelings, most don’t have in their legs or parts of their body.”

Ocellus grumbled “That is Starswirl's fault, we are Swamp Changelings and everything was fine for us until Starswirl started dumping his magical rubbish in our swamp. It changed us, we used to be dark green but now we are black. We need much more love to hold our bodies together, our mana pools are twisted in such ways that they burn our body apart. We need to lot’s of love to stave it off.”

Sunset frowned “That explains the invasion.”

Ocellus growled “It is still because she was unwilling to work with ponies. She believed Changelings were superior. We maybe able to do a bit of everything but our magic is weaker than even the average Unicorn’s. Only Queens can even do complex magic, we are slower than the average Thestrals yet alone Pegasi and far weaker physically than both Earth Ponies and Thestrals.”

Fleur frowned “I think that is just Swamp Changelings, Vulcania’s Changelings are very tough but small in number. Coldsnap’s are quite fast, they are also master’s of fire and ice magic. As for Starglow’s, we don’t have much on them so I can’t say.”

Ocellus frowned “We are pretty weak on an individual basis but focused on swarming at least before Starswirl’s rubbish tainted us.”

They found themselves at a crystal wall, Ocellus blasted it down revealing a weak and battered Cadence laying there. Sunset ran over and offered her a hand “Cadence are you okay?”

Cadence smiled as she was pulled up “Somewhat, Ocellus has been keeping me fed behind the back of the others.”

Ocellus shrugged “It’s no big deal, honestly I was against this whole plan from the beginning but she was the Queen so I thought I better do something to keep the hive safe when the whole thing inevitably blows up in her face. It took longer than I thought, she had been in and out of Canterlot for months and Celestia didn’t notice crap.”

Sunset deadpanned “Celestia is a moron that’s why. She only appears wise because she has over one thousand years worth of experience. Over that amount of time even a moron can appear smart because they have been around so long and made so many mistakes.”

Cadence giggled “From all the time I have spent with her, you are not wrong. I mean considering how she acted when we saw on another.”

Sunset nodded with a smile, Sunset returned to seethe rest of Inquisitors eyeing the Changelings. Sunset raised her hand “All is safe, they are allies. We’ll return to the surface now.” Sunset clicked her fingers, teleporting the Inquisitors and Cadence up to the castle.

Shining Armour ran over “Cadence they found you!”

Cadence smiled “Indeed they did. Thank goodness, I don’t know how much longer I could have lasted down there.”

Sunset growled “I would have ripped her head off if I found that you were dead own there. There would have been no mercy!”

Cadence placed a hand on her “Relax, I’m safe I’m here and soon the wedding can continue as normal.” She then turned to Shining Armour “Did you remember to inform your sister about the wedding ahead of time.”

Shining Armour began to sweat “Um, well no I didn’t. I was distracted.”

Cadence facepalmed “Right I forgot about that, you really were super forgetful. I believe we have to explain to Twilight about the whole thing and...”

Vegeta walked next to Sunset as Twilight arrived with five mares that Sunset could easily recognise. Sunset walked over to them “Let me guess” she then pointed to them in order “the orange one is Applejack, the light blue one is Rainbow Dash, the white one is Rarity, the pink one is Pinkie and the yellow one is Fluttershy.”

Rainbow Dash growled “How do you know us!”

Sunset frowned “I know people with those names, you five look like them.” Rainbow Dash was wearing a dark tank top and a pair of sports shorts. Applejack was wearing a farmer’s shirt and long pants. Rarity was wearing a fine dress. Pinkie was wearing a bright blue shirt and a short light pink skirt. Fluttershy was wearing a light yellow hoodie and long pants.

Rainbow Dash growled “I don’t believe that a second, you must be a spy!” Rainbow punched Sunset in the face, Rainbow screamed as she felt an explosion of pain through her arm.

Sunset’s eyes focused “You broke every bone in your arm. Give me a second.” Sunset closed her eyes and Rainbow blinked as her arm was able to move again. Sunset frowned “Don’t do that again.” Sunset walked back over to Vegeta, not noticing Fluttershy’s gaze towards Sunset’s arms.
