Sunset was sitting on Kin Tuon with Goku on her lap as they flew by Bulma’s car. Bulma frowned “A Dragon Ball closer than the desert has appeared on my radar, we need get closer to locate the Dragon Ball.”

Three days of travel later and they arrived at the outskirts what appeared to be a village. Bulma frowned “The Dragon Ball is coming from the village somewhere? We need to find it.”

Goku frowned “I can sense that people are there?”

Sunset nodded “Yes, they are hiding in their houses. Something has them scared and we must help them even if they don’t have a Dragon Ball.” The four of them headed into the village, Sunset called out “We know you are hiding in your houses. We mean you no harm.”

An old man with black hair coming out from the back of his head on the right and left sides walked out “Who are you three? Are you working with that dreaded Oolong! Is one of you him in disguise!”

Twilight shook her head “No sir, we are just looking for something. Who is this Oolong person?”

The man looked at them with a frown “Oolong is fearsome shape shifting monster. We don’t know what he really looks like but he has been taking village girls. He is coming at midday to take my daughter.”

Sunset smiled “We will take him down as soon as he arrives, I’m confident I can take him down. We just need to wait for his arrival, in the meantime have you seen a golden orb with stars on it.”

An elderly woman came out carrying an orb with seven stars, “This is something my grandmother picked up long ago. We don’t know what it is.”

Bulma’s eyes widened “That’s exactly what we’re looking for!”

Sunset smiled “We will take the Dragon Ball after the defeat of this Oolong.”

The old man bowed “I am in your debt, I’m village chief and my daughter is inside. Do you want to meet her?”

Goku bounced up and down “Yes, can we mum, can we!” Sunset nodded with a smile, the four of them entered. His daughter was sitting at a round table, she had black done up in two pigtails. She wore a black dress with a white apron on the front.

Goku began playing with her, Sunset smiled “I’m glad he’s playing with someone younger. We lived in the forest before this and he didn’t get to meet any other kids.”

Twilight smiled “Well I’m glad his getting the chance now, I have had a hard time making friends with others. Bulma is the only person that I can call friend” she then looks down “even if she ignores me when are not in the middle of a project.”

Sunset frowned “If it is hurting you, then talk about it with her. Me and my mentor had a falling out because we didn’t communicate well enough. Don’t let what you have fall apart by staying silent, if you wish for my help then just ask.”

Twilight smiled “After we get this Dragon Ball I’ll take you up on that offer.”

The sound of shouting interrupted their conversation, Sunset smiled “That time may come sooner than you think.” Sunset walked outside and saw a huge pig demon in a suit “I assume you are the one terrorising this village, Oolong right.”

Oolong boasted “I am the mighty Oolong” he then looked over with a smirk “you don’t look bad yourself, mind if…”

Sunset slammed an elbow into his stomach, he collapsed to the ground his transformation fading revealing a little pudgy pig in a military style uniform. She picked him up and glared into his eyes “Now you will tell me where the girls you took are or else my son is having bacon for dinner! Am I clear!”

Oolong shook his arms “Fine.” The town followed him to a large fancy estate, he sighed a she opened the door to see the girls. All of them were wearing fancy clothes, one was drinking something expensive, another was dancing and the third was relaxing on a chair while drinking another expensive drink. Oolong grumbled as he looked down “They have been costing me a fortune, I just wanted obedient girl.”

Sunset frowned “You are coming with us and the girls are returning to the village. After we get all the Dragon Balls you get to return back here and do anything other than terrorise others. Am I clear!”

Oolong gulped “Crystal.”

After all the girls were returned, they returned to the car and put it in the capsule. As they returned to the Oolong estate having collected the Dragon Ball, Twilight asked “Bulma, can we talk.”

Sunset looked at Goku “Make sure Oolong stays put while I go and help Twilight okay.” Goku nodded. Sunset joined them and smiled to Twilight “Go on.”

Twilight rubbed her shoulder “Bulma, why do you ignore when it’s not about a research project. When I just want to hang out and do things normal people my age do but you are the only friend I know. You are always too occupied in your own research.”

Bulma frowned “Those are superficial things, I have things I want to achieve. I want to invent things and change the world. I have my goals and ambitions.”

Twilight shouted “What about us, I am your friend right! You have never asked whether I wanted to do something!Do I mean nothing to you Bulma, is the fact that I am your friend mean nothing! Can you look me in the eye that I am truly your friend!”

Bulma’s eyes widened in shock, she was stunned at the harshness of Twilight’s words. Twilight’s facade cracked as tears ran down her face, the silence was enough of an answer. Sunset cast a cold glare at Bulma before escorting Twilight back to her son and Oolong. Bulma exited ten minutes later and tossed a capsule into the water, the five of them got onto the boat in silence. Sunset glaring at Bulma as Goku and Oolong looked between the two of them.
