Strange Dovahkiin
Prologue: Anime Couple
Load Full StoryNext ChapterThe world is an interesting place with many Magical Creatures widespread across the world. Various shows were filmed using almost exclusive casts of Magical Creatures. Many buildings and objects were given drastic changes to insurance policies due to various accidents that are common for the various species. For one of the first few humans to marry a Magical Creature, the biggest thing that made his life interesting was making his van rock and creak in protest.
“Oh Honey!” The vehicle rocked hard for a few seconds with those flirtatiously toned words. “I’m stuck again!”
Jaxon, an average human male turned around in the driver’s seat to see a big, moss green booty and tail stuck in the vehicle’s side door. Without a word, he turned frontward and started laughing quietly to himself.
“It’s frustrating how many times you get stuck like that in doorways and such, Aqua,” Jaxon said to his wife as he laughed. “But despite that, it’s funny every time. You are such a ditz!”
The van rocked again as Aqua spoke, “But I’m your ditz.” Jaxon laughed again before turning back around and slapping his hand hard on her giant butt. After an ‘eep’ and nearly tipped van, she continued, “Very forward today, aren’t you?”
Jaxon exited the vehicle and moved to where Aqua was stuck. “Let’s flirt when we get inside the convention,” He said while pulling her head down to kiss. “Besides, you know you can get unstuck anytime. I’m just not helping to tease you.” He then kissed her, causing her booty to briefly swell while her bust and a few of her other body parts shrunk a little.
“You can be so boring at times, that the moments you tease me back is always a surprise,” Aqua said after they broke the kiss. “So, are you gonna push me out or…”
“Motivation,” the human said as he turned his back to her and slowly started walking towards the convention center. “I’ve heard rumors that they’re gonna release some gameplay of Elder Scrolls 6...something I don’t think you want to miss.” Some water sloshing and a van door closing was heard before he was lifted up and placed on his wife’s shoulders.
“Why didn’t you say so in the first place?!” She exclaimed and ran to the convention center, almost crushing a few cars with her literal water weight on the way.
After arriving inside, and allowing Aqua a quick “bathroom break”, the happy couple took time to look over themselves and check their costumes.
Aqua is one of many Hybrid creature species, specifically Kappa and Air Dragon combination. Most of her body is moss green scales with peach fuzz fur of the same color. The spines of a typical Air Dragon were replaced with longer hair that was a loquat yellow, with tufts of hair and her belly and partial chest region following the same color.
As for her costume, she wore leather armor as seen in Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, minus the helmet. She had a Dawnguard crossbow prop strapped to her back and an iron mace was strapped to her belt. Due to her nature as a Kappa Dragon, Jaxon came up with the name, she wore her normal, day-to-day clothes under her leather armor, just in case her leather armor broke.
Jaxon, a regular human, was dressed up in Greek style armor. His chest was covered by a bronze decorated linothorax, his waist had bronze plated tassets, his legs had simple bronze greaves, and a stereotypical, bronze Korinthian helmet (without a plume) covered his head. He lastly had a bow and a bronze tipped spear strapped to his back and a bronze short sword strapped to his side.
After their check, Aqua looked to Jaxon and gave him a beautiful smile. “So, is my Handsome Mercenary Dragonborn ready to start exploring?” She asked, extending her hand toward him.
With an equally handsome smile back, Jaxon replied, “So long as my Lusty Argonian Maiden is ready, I am.” He took her hand and they entered the crowd.
As the couple explored the convention, they found (and bought) a lot of random merchandise. While Aqua would have bought many of the large, expensive, and/or elaborate items, Jaxon kept her love of all things fiction under control and made sure the items they bought were of a manageable size, and reasonable expense. Details weren’t much to complain about, truthfully.
Roughly two hours of browsing vendor tables, taking pictures with various other people at the convention, and watching a few gameplay presentations, the couple was almost ready to head back home. Just before they could get past the back of the seating arranged for the gameplay presentations, Aqua took another look around and saw a vendor table that she didn’t recognize or even remember seeing. With a light nudge with her booty to her husband, she pointed out the table and gave an adorable pout.
“Can we at least take a look there before we leave?” She asked. Jaxon leaned in and gave her a quick kiss before letting her lead him to the table. Upon arriving, the couple was astounded by the many items the had and how much detail was in each item.
“Well, I set up my stall, then take care of a nasty bathroom issue, and I come back to you two,” a voice said behind them, getting Aqua to ‘eep’ in brief fright. They both turned around and saw a person in an ‘Organization XIII’ Cloak walking toward them.
“That isn’t a problem, is it?” She asked as she watched the vendor pass them and take a seat.
“Just so long as I have no missing inventory, you’re fine,” the vendor said, picking up a clipboard and began looking over his table and underneath it. “Before I get too absorbed in my inventory, anything catch your eyes?”
Jaxon stepped closer and looked over the merchandise with a critical eye, his vision passing over a set of well-crafted bronze bracers a few times. He glanced in his wife’s direction as she picked up a green bottle filled with a viscous liquid.
“Your fuzzy dragon friend seems to have an eye for high quality,” the vendor said, getting her attention. “What you have is a Bottle of Hist Sap.”
“You mean, like the Elder Scrolls games?” She asked, excitement showing in her voice. “The Sap of Hist Trees that are a central part of Argonian Culture?”
“Exactly,” the vendor replied. The person switched his attention towards Jaxon as he was picking up and examining the bronze bracers. “And you do too. Bracers forged by the best smiths of Sparta.”
Jaxon snorted lightly in amusement. “I like your commitment to roleplay,” he said in a relatively quiet voice. “How much for these and the bottle?”
The vendor nodded his head under his hood, and spoke, “Normally, such items would be thousands of dollars, but today has been a good day for me, I’m feeling generous, and your dragon friend’s bubbly personality put me in a better mood than I thought possible. The new price is about $50.”
“That’s a definite deal!” Aqua exclaimed as she pulled her purse out from behind her armor and pulled out a fifty, handed it to the vendor, and picked up her husband before he could consider refusing. A quick jog to the van, and they loaded their haul into the back of the vehicle, except for the bracers and the sap.
“Thanks for that, I would have refused had he not listed the reduced price and if you hadn’t jumped in as you did,” Jaxon said as he undid the bracer’s fastenings. “And I think I should try these on. It would seem a waste if I didn’t use them before starting back.”
“And I’m thirsty,” Aqua responded as she uncorked the Hist Sap bottle.
Jaxon chuckled as he fastened one of the bracers on. “If I heard someone else say that and uncorked that, I would call them crazy and have 911 on standby,” he said, grabbing the other bracer. He paused as she drank the bottle’s contents. “You, I’ll just make sure to pick up a few bottles of Antacids on the way home.”
Aqua nodded as she finished drinking the sap. “That was actually good. Thick like syrup, and has a sweet and banana bread-like flavor to it,” she complimented as she turned to her husband...just in time to see him collapse onto the pavement. Upon impact, her carefree attitude was dropped like the bottle the sap came in, and she was immediately lifting him off the pavement and pulling out her cellphone to call an ambulance. Just as she was about to click the ‘call’ button, she was suddenly hit with a wave of fatigue, causing her to drop her phone and fall backward...missing the pavement and landing in a new world with her husband firmly, but gently in her arms.
Author's Note
Had an idea in my head of a naturally magical creature getting Displaced, and after talking with BioQuillFiction, I managed to make it a reality. He's editing so I can get as much of the details correct.
