Just on the outskirts of Ponyville, there stood an orphanage hidden behind multiple trees. In that orphanage was young batpony filly Toolbrush Glide.

Her mane blew with the winds strength and flowed like one of the royal sisters’ she was soon caught off guard when a familiar snobbish voice said

“Toolbrush, it’s adoption day! And Madame Zest wants us all out in the hall so they can pick who they want!” She said with a menacing smirk.

“Ok Shimmering seas” Toolbrush said whilst closing the window.

The young foals walked out and were greated by a pale orange pony, the orphanage owner, Madame Zest,

“well hello girls!” The mare spoke on her squeaky but soft voice. “Go join the others so you can wait for our visitor to choose one of you” she said to both of them. “Ok Madame Zest!” Toolbrush smiled. The young batpony foal and the snobbish young unicorn stood inline.

Madame Zest walked towards the foals. “Ok everypony, our visitor has said they won’t be long!” She said on her happy manner. After a few minutes of waiting the orphanage door banged with some pony or in this case some creature was knocking. There stood two males. A lanky orange stallion and a mismatched creature that she remembered as a draconequus. She smiled at both of them and gestured for them to come in.

“These are the foals” she said sweetly. “They are, Misty eyes, Lotus soft, Shimmering seas, and Toolbrush Glide.” She said to them and walked away to let them make their decision. The lanky orange stallion made his way towards the back of the line to where young Toolbrush Glide was.

“Who are you little miss?” He said in a high-pitched voice.

“I-I’m Toolbrush Glide...” she said shyly. The stallion gestured to the draconequus to come over. When the draconequus saw the young batpony he instantly decided who he was taking.

We’ll be taking the batpony” the ancient creature said. “Oh! How lovely” Madame Zest said “little Toolbrush her has been looking for a home for ages” she said softly “haven’t you Toolbrush” she said to her.

Yes” she smiled. “Great!” Madame Zest said, “come with me and sign some paperwork kind sirs” she said. After some paperwork she could finally go with her new family. And she felt something she hadn’t felt in ages, happiness
