Authors Note:  Hey there it’s Sikanto and I just want to say that this will be my first try at something like this. Especially the “Romance” topic. So if you think I should change, erase, add, etc. for this story the just comment on what you think. Don’t hold back on what you say because it will help me improve. I’m going to shut up now and let you read this Prologue. - Sikanto

   Gone

PROLOGUE

Emptiness, it’s what describes what I have felt most of my early life as a child. It describes what I had only felt and known at that time. Then I met this Woman and her young child who was the same age as me.

“Oh my gosh you poor thing!” I looked down

“Where are your parents?” I just stayed looking down starting to tear up”.

“I…I have no family,"

The mother had a long sad look on her face. As I wipe off my tears the little girl behind her started to slowly walk towards me. She had big cute eyes and long pink hair with a yellow dress that had pink butterflies on it. She seemed shy at first but then she tells me

“Umm...Don’t be sad...We can take you in….If umm...That’s okay with you.” She then smiles and gives out her hand. I was too busy looking at her smile. It had overwhelmed me and I grabbed her hand as she helped me up. The girl then asks me

“What’s your name?” I just stood there silent at her for a minute.

“S-Sikanto” I had told them.

“Oh, that’s a nice name you have there.” The mother had said.

“I’m Sarah and this is my daughter Fluttershy.” She points towards the girl in front of me.

Fluttershy had a nice welcoming smile on her face.

“Nice to meet you Sikanto.” She then giggles.

“That’s a funny name.” I think for a minute then I laugh.

“Yeah It is.”  During that moment I had felt laughter and happiness for the first time. Sarah then said

“Fluttershy and I were just about to go home” I look at Fluttershy and Sarah then I smile.

“Sure!” I follow them to their car in the parking lot.

“Umm..Is there a father?” I ask as I look up at Sarah. Sarah stops all of a sudden and looks down at me

“No, He left when Fluttershy was just a baby. We’ve never heard from him since.” She had a smile on her face but I had known that she was trying to hold back the anger and hatred for what he had done. That told me that I wasn’t the only one who was abandoned and left for dead.

After finding the car we enter and we have a long car ride towards home. During the ride Fluttershy had hummed a small tune that was beautiful and soothing. It made me forget about the hard times I had and told me

“You now have a family that loves you.” After 10 more minutes Fluttershy fell asleep. I was just staring at her asleep. I know it sound weird but it looked cute the way she slept. But then I catch myself yawning and my eyelids getting heavy by the second. I fall asleep and then I’m woken up

“Sikanto. We’re here.” Fluttershy had told me while poking my side. I get out of the car and I look up at a 2 story house that was a nice shade of sky blue, my favorite color. The front yard had a nice garden that led to the back.

“Wow. This is cool.” I said in awe.

“Yes, this is your new home now Sikanto.” I was amazed by how beautiful the scenery was, and then I told myself in a mental note “You’re home now.”

“Sikanto are you coming?” I look to see Fluttershy waiting for me at the doorstep.

“Oh coming.” I then head towards Fluttershy and my new home.

Authors Note:   Hey there I return hoping you liked this so far. Chapter one is already in Progress so if you just can’t wait then it will take a quick day or two (IRL stuff like homework and school) Will of course keep me back but I’ll try my best to finish the chapters as quick as possible.
