An Ally of Nightmare

The trio had returned to Grogar's lair.

"You failed to retrieve the Bell!?" Grogar's voice echoed outside.

Inside...

The trio all bowed before the ancient goat. "W-We're so sorry, almighty Grogar," Cozy whimpered.

"But we did work together as you asked," Tirek said with dread.

"I suppose we just aren't as powerful as you," Says Chrysalis worriedly.

"AAARGH!!!!" Grogar shouted in anger and shot a beam of darkness at a wall, creating a massive tunnel in it. The trio were intimidated. "Obviously! But at least you finally came to an agreement and worked together," Grogar said in frustration and a small amount of relief that the trio no longer fought against each other, then he decided to go his quarters for some peace.

"O-Of course, master..." Cozy smiled.

"Whatever you command!" Tirek said.

"Forget about that old bell, my lord. You were right! We are the most powerful force in Equestria, when we work as a team..." Chrysalis said as she and her comrades looked at the bell behind a stalagmite.

A Few Hours Later...

Tirek was simply exercising with his workout set and Chrysalis was talking to her log about meeting someone who might actually understand her.

Cozy however, was looking out a window at the starry skies thinking about him.

He was orphaned like her, but he's been through more than anyone or anypony in her existence ever has. She had tears in her eyes and wiped them away as she sniffled just even thinking about him for a minute.

"Nytbane... If you can hear me out there, wherever you are... I'm waiting for you. Me, Chrysalis and Tirek... we're all waiting for you... I don't know how I can reassure you this, but I want to try and do everything in my power to help you know that......... that I love you..... I love you like a brother, Nytbane..... please know that...."

Elsewhere...

"Please know that I really do love you.... I want to help you, Nytbane...... I really...... want..... to help you......"

Nytbane felt these words from Cozy's heart and simply closed his eye with tears of strange power dripping down his snoutless cheek.
