After your famous magazine articles nearly destroy somepony's life, you leave Canterlot to hide your shame, effectively ending your fashion career. You decide to lie low in the nearby town of Ponyville, where very few people read the Canterlot Columns, apart for one striking young clothing designer named Rarity. When she recognises you, she makes it her mission to show you once and for all that, if applied correctly, fashion can be used to help ponies, and not harm them.
