Rainbow waved goodbye to her friends before turning to her unofficial little sister. "So Scoots, are you ready to go home?"

"I was actually hoping I could hang out with you," answered Scootaloo nervously. Rainbow chuckled as she ruffled the young filly's mane.

"Sure thing, squirt," said Dash. "I don't have anything planned, and I was wondering just how much you improved on that scooter." Scootaloo's face lit up as she excitedly grabbed her helmet and scooter.
(Night Time)

"Okay, squirt," said Dash as she looked up at the sky. "It's time to go home." Scootaloo groaned in disappointment. "Come on, you have school tomorrow."

"Fine," said Scootaloo sadly.

"I'll bring you home," offered Dash.

"No," said Scootaloo. "I can walk home myself."

"It's no problem," stated Dash.

"NO!" shouted Scootaloo. Dash, surprised, stared at her little sister.

"Okay, I get it," said Dash. "Well, see you tomorrow." The cyan pegasus flew off, leaving Scootaloo alone. The young filly sighed as she rode her scooter away from the area. Unknown to her, Rainbow was secretly watching her.

"Where is she going?" asked Rainbow as she watched her sister head toward Sweet Apple Acres. To her surprise, Scootaloo stopped at the CMC Clubhouse. "Did she forget something?". She waited a while for Scootaloo to come out, but eventually, she decided to peak into the clubhouse. To her shock, she saw her sister curled up into a ball with her cape covering her. Opening the door, she walked over to Scootaloo. Placing her hoof on Scootaloo, she shook the young pegasus awake. The young filly tiredly glanced around. "What are you doing here?"

"Dash!" yelped Scootaloo. "What are you doing here?"

"I asked first," said Dash as she sat down next to her. Scootaloo's eyes dart around before landing on her cape. Dash saw this and spoke up before the young filly could. "I know you didn't forget your cape." Scootaloo stammered as she tried to make an excuse. "Why didn't you go home?"

Scootaloo's response was so quiet that Dash almost missed it. "I did". Glancing outside, Dash saw that it was pretty late.

"Come on, squirt," said the pegasus as she bent down. Scootaloo tiredly climbed on her idol's back. "Where are your parents?". Much to Dash's annoyance, Scootaloo managed to fall asleep on her back. 'We talk about this tomorrow' thought Dash as she trotted out of the clubhouse. 'Now, where should I take her?'. Rainbow thought about bringing her to her house, but it was up in the air, and while Dash was confident that she could catch Scootaloo, she doubted that her sister would enjoy waking up during free fall. While thinking about where to go, Dash caught sight of a light in the distance. Squirting her eyes, she saw that the light was coming from the library where her friends, Twilight and Spike, lived. 'look like Twilight is having a late-night research session' Rainbow glanced at the little filly on her back 'i think I just found where I'll take you for tonight'.
(With Twilight)

Twilight was enjoying reading a book about the various myths and legends of Equestria. She figured that if the Mare in the Moon were a true story, it would be best to prepare for other legends. Her focus was broken by a knock at her door. 'who would be visiting at this time?' wonder the unicorn as she approached the front door. Opening the door with her magic, she was surprised to see Rainbow Dash. "Rainbow, what are you doing here?" She asked her friend.

"Do you have a spare room available?" asked Dash as she entered the library.

"I always keep the guest room ready just in case my family comes over," said Twilight as she softly shut the door, "but why do." She stopped when she noticed that Rainbow had Scootaloo on her back. "Why do you have Scootaloo with you?"

"I found her sleeping in the clubhouse," explained Rainbow, earning a frown from the Element of Magic. "I tried to ask her why she was there, but she was too tired to tell me."

"So you want to know if she could sleep in the guest room, correct?" questioned Twilight. Rainbow nodded as she yawned loudly. Twilight shook her head as she gently lifted Scootaloo with her magic. Turning around to say good night to her friend, Twilight was surprised and amused to see that Rainbow had fallen asleep on one of her desks. After thinking a bit, she decided to leave her friend alone and carried Scootaloo to the guest room. After tucking the young filly in, Twilight grabbed a spare blanket and went downstairs to cover her friend, who was softly snoring. 'It is getting late,' thought Twilight as she walked to her room. 'I am worried about Scootaloo, but it is probably best to wait until morning'. She climbed into her bed and pulled the covers over herself. 'that way, we will all be well-rested and able to think clearly' Closing her eyes, the unicorn fell into a peaceful sleep.

Author's Note

I am still alive. Sorry for not doing anything. I don't have many ideas for MLP stories, so I've been busy with other stories, mostly Boku no Hero Academia.
