Endless: The Alicorn Magician

A few days passed and Trixie was still cooped up in her room. Her thoughts flooded with both depression and anger for Starlight's interference in the battle. Just then, she heard a knock on the door.

"What do you want, Starlight?" Trixie said.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have chased after you if all you want is to be alone," Starlight said from behind the locked door, "And I respect that. Just know that as your friend, I'm still concerned about you."

Trixie sighed. She then thought of the perfect plan.

Starlight can't know, she thought, And I'll make sure she doesn't. A private battle! That's perfect!

So Trixie used her magic and grabbed an envelope and a fancy piece of paper. Tomorrow morning at dawn I will send this to Twilight and she won't be able to turn down a battle-- just her and me, she thought, But how will I make sure she keeps it a secret? Eh, we'll establish that once the RSVP has been received and the poor little pegasus responds.

Eight hours later and the moon had risen by Princess Luna, because Twilight was unable to with her magic gone. Nightfall had officially came to Ponyville. Trixie lie wide awake in bed for a couple of hours, finalising her plan. At about 11:00 P. M., she nodded off to sleep.
