Chrysalis bellowed a tumoltuous roar at Spectre and Alistair as well as showing her tongues and tentacles. Then, large long legs appeared out of her, and she stood on the ground.

"Witness the power!" Chrysalis exclaimed dastardly.

"You've lost it Chrysalis." Alistair told her.

"Shut up junior!" Chrysalis shouted, but Alistair didn't flinch, he remained his composure.

Spectre then aimed his assault rifle forward and fired five shots at her chest.

*BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!*

When the five bullets collided in Chrysalis's chest, nothing happened. The bullets just got absorbed into the chest area and didn't cause any effects to her.

"Hahaha!" Laughed Chrysalis "You think that little toy of yours can put a dent on me? You are pathetic and cretinous!" Chrysalis insulted.

Spectre was a bit angry by her sarcastic insult, but he remained calm and started to look for a weakness in her. He raised his right arm and began to reach for a button on the right side of his goggle mask.

Alistair on the other hand was looking for his parents, relatives and subjects. And when he looked in front of him, he saw them all behind the castle.

"Daddy! Mommy!" Alistair yelled, he then ran and tried to get to them. But suddenly, a giant foot appeared in front of him.

Alistair looked up to his left and saw Chrysalis looking down at him while hissing with five tongues.

"You're not going anywhere."

Chrysalis then raised her leg up and prepared to squash the Prince and ending his life in the process.

When Alistair noticed this, he shielded his face and prepared to the daunting impact to come. But miraculously, there was no death for him today when Alistair heard some shots fired as well as the grunting noise of Chrysalis.

*BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG*

"Augh!"

Alistair slowly moved his hooves away from his eyes and looked up to see what has happened. And to his great surprise, Chrysalis didn't even squashed him, her leg was now six centimeters in front of him.

"What happened?"

"Alistair!" Spectre called him. "Get out of there and get back to me!" He told him.

"Okay." Alistair said with a nod. Then, he turned around and ran back to Spectre.

"What's the plan?" He asked.

"Alright listen carefully." Spectre told him, and Alistair started to listen "I can now see that your queen here has mutated into a ginormous monster, and I tried shooting at her chest and leg area but it didn't work." He finished.

"Oh, then what are we suppost to do?" Alistair asked in a concerned tone.

"I have detected some weak areas on her." Spectre told him.

"What are those weak areas?"

"See those joints over there?" Spectre asked pointing at a large red circular ball looking thing, and Alistair replied with a nod "Those joints are connected to Chrysalis's legs, if I shoot them off, she will eventually fall on her chest giving us a chance to finish her!" He said.

Alistair took a second to acknowledge his words. And five seconds later, Alistair looked back up at Spectre with an approved expression.

"Sounds like a plan to me Spectre." Alistair said.

"Good." Spectre said with a nod "I'll focus on Chrysalis here, and you'll focus on saving your parents, relatives and subjects understood?" He asked.

"That's a plan Spectre." Alistair said in a confident tone.

"Good, commencing operation Canterlot!"

After Spectre has said those words, Alistair charged forward and started to rush to his parents, relatives and subjects who were being held in those green cocoons.

Chrysalis who has just recovered from the unexpected attack looked down and saw Alistair rushing towards her, but she saw that he isn't running to her, he is running to his parents, relatives and subjects.

"Oh no you don't." Chrysalis growled as she lifted up one of her legs, she then attempted to crush him.

When Spectre noticed this, he aimed his assault rifle up and fired six shots at the joint.

*BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!*

When the six shots collided into the joint, it was popped out of place. Then, Chrysalis started to fall to the ground, and Alistair made it through her.

"Augh!" Chrysalis grunted.

Alistair looked back and saw that Chrysalis was on the ground on her left side. He must assume that Spectre must've shot down one of the joints.

"Nice work Specs!" Alistair exclaimed in a joyful manner.

"Thanks, now go and rescue them."

Alistair nodded and turned around. Then, he ran to the cocoon.

Chrysalis looked in front of her where Spectre was, and she shot him a hazardous glare.

"You're going to pay for that." Chrysalis growled.

"Bring it on then." Spectre mocked.

Chrysalis took the insult and shot one of her tongues forward attempting to grapple him and put him in her mouth.

When Spectre took notice of this, he aimed his assault rifle forward and fired one shot at the tongue. And when the bullet collided with the tongue, it broke and fell on the ground.

"Ahhh!" Chrysalis yelled in pain.

When Spectre saw his chance, he ran to his left to where the front right leg joint is. Once he got to it, he aimed his rifle up at it and fired six shots at it again.

*BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!*

When the six bullets collided into the joint of Chrysalis's front right leg, it popped out of place and the leg fell off bringing Chrysalis down in the process. And Chrysalis was on the ground with only her back legs left.

"Why you!"

"Two down, two more to go." Spectre said.

At the back of the castle, Alistair was seen prying open some of the cocoons with his magic in desperate attempt to free everypony, he first started with his parents.

"Come on open!" Alistair said while using all of his strength.

Ten seconds later, Alistair managed to break the cocoon that was holding his parents, a splat noise was heard and Throax and Twilight fell on the ground with their eyes still closed.

"Daddy! Mommy! Wake up!" Alistair exclaimed while nudging them.

Five seconds later, Thorax and Twilight moaned and opened their eyes slowly. Then, they saw their son in front of them.

"A-Alistair? What's going on?" Thorax asked.

"No time to explain daddy, we gotta free the others!" Alistair said sternly.

Twilight then looked around her and saw that her friends, teacher and subjects all held in cocoons by the mutated Chrysalis.

"Oh no! Come on Thory, we gotta help!" Twilight said anxiously.

Thorax nodded and he and his wife both stood up from the ground. After that, they started to go around the area prying everyponies cocoons in desperate to free them all from Chrysalis.

Back at the front of the castle, Spectre was seen still battling Chrysalis. He was behind her trying to break her back to leg joint.

"Die you aggravating insect!" Chrysalis exclaimed trying to swat Spectre away with her tentacles.

When Spectre noticed the tentacles, he aimed his assault rifle forward and fired at them, and when the bullets collided with the tentacles, green liquid leaked out and the tentacles immediately retreated back into her large stomach. After that, Spectre turned to his right and aimed his assault rifle at the joint of Chrysalis's back right leg. He steadied his aim and fired six shots at it again.

*BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!*

When the six bullets collided into the joint, the joint broke loose and the leg fell down.

"Alright, one more to go!" Spectre said running to the last leg which was the back left one.

Once Spectre has reached the back left leg, he aimed his assault rifle up and tried to shoot it. But suddenly, a tentacle was wrapped around his chest and it gripped onto his firmly.

"Ooof!" Spectre grunted from the pressure.

"Gotcha now."

Spectre tried to shoot the tentacle with his gun, but the tenacious pressure from Chrysalis's tentacle ceased his attempt. Then, Spectre improvised. He reached into his knife holder with his left hand and unsheathed his knife. After that, Spectre raised his left arm up and stabbed the tentacle. The impact sprayed many green coloured liquid out from the tentacle and it released its grip from Spectre.

Once Spectre was free, he sheathed his knife and ran to the back left leg.

Five seconds later, Spectre has reached the final leg. He aimed his rifle up and focused on the joint. He took a deep breath and fired six shots at it.

*BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!*

When the six bullets collided into the joint, it detached from the leg and the leg fell on the ground. And Chrysalis fell flat onto the ground, she had no legs to help her get back up, and her tentacles and tongues would not even be able to help support her weight because of their soft textures.

"Woohoo! That's all the legs!" Spectre exclaimed in a satisfied tone "You're now unable to get back up you abomination!" He insulted her. Then, he reloaded his assault rifle.

"Hey Spectre!"

When Spectre heard Alistair's voice, he turned around and saw him and many other ponies and changelings behind him. He must assume that he has freed all of them.

"Great work little friend!" Spectre said in a proud tone.

"Thanks." Alistair said with a smile.

"Come on everypony, let's get out of here." Twilight said.

Then, everypony including Spectre all ran to the front gates of the castle to escape. But suddenly, a large tentacle appeared in front of them, blocking their path which startled many youngs.

Everypony and Spectre turned around and saw Chrysalis looked at them with a sinister smile on her muzzle.

"Hahaha! You think that getting rid of my legs will stop me?" Chrysalis asked incredulously "It will take more than that to stop me." She told them in a vile tone.

"NOW DIE!" Chrysalis exclaimed as she shot out her tentacles directly towards them.

Everypony immediately shielded their faces when they noticed the large tentacles coming towards them. But, nothing happened.

Everypony looked in front of them to see what was happening. And to their great surprise, Chrysalis has stopped moving.

"What is going on?" A pony in the crowd asked.

Then, Chrysalis's tentacles and tongues started to shake violently as well as her body.

"Wh-what is happening? The virus is taking control of me!" Chrysalis screamed in pain.

Then, the virus inside of Chrysalis started to mutate again, sharp and longer teeth were formed under her teeth gum, her hair was detached, her spines got sharper, her tongues and tentacles got longer, and a brain covered her face except for her teeth.

"BREEEEEC!!!" Roared the monster.

Spectre then turned around and looked at the ponies and changelings.

"GO! GO! GO!"

"Everypony run!" Alistair told his subjects.

Then, everypony screamed and rushed out of the castle and started to run to the drawbridge of Canterlot and escape while being led by King Thorax, Queen Twilight, the mane five, Princess Celestia and Luna as well as Shining Armor and the Royal guards.

Spectre looked at the mutated Chrysalis again for a second, and back at the ponies and changelings.

"Crap, there's no time." Spectre said in a worrying tone. He then started to come up with a plan. Five seconds later, his eyes widened because, he remembered that he has something with him. "Wait, the C-4'S!" Spectre exclaimed.

He then reached into his back and pulled out to C-4 explosives as well as the detonator. He looked in front of him to see of there are any places to place the C-4'S to kill the large bioweapon. But, there were no places to put them. The only vulnerable area was Chrysalis's face, and even if he place the C-4'S near her face, she would instantly devour him. There was only one solution left.

Spectre turned around and saw that Alistair was still here, and wasn't far.

"Hey Alistair!"

When Alistair heard Spectre he turned around and saw him running towards him.

"Yes Spectre?"

"Alistair, I have a favor that I would like to ask you."

"And that is?"

Spectre then placed a detonator on the ground underneath him. And the sight made him bewildered.

"What is that Spectre?"

"That right there is a detonator for these to C-4'S here." Spectre delineated showing Alistair the C-4'S "There are no suitable areas for me to place the C-4'S, so I'm going to have to charge in there, and when I'm neat her face, I'm going to need you to press the detonator and explode the C-4'S." He told him.

When Alistair heard this, he was traumatized.

"Wait what?! But, you'll die!"

"It doesn't matter, you need to get to safety with your parents, relatives and subjects."

"Spectre please..." Alistair said as tear formed in hid eyes.

"Hey look." Spectre said as he rubbed his cheek with his right gloved hand "Alistair, you are the greatest friend and comrade I have ever met, and it is an honor to fight along side with you. And as a duty of a soldier and a friend, it is my responsibility to protect the community and you from hazards. Just like how you will be in the future." He told him.

Alistair started to tear up again, he didn't want to loose him, Spectre was his best friend. But, the lives of his subjects were at stake, and he had to accept it.

"Tell me what I need to do Spectre."

"Alright, I'm going to charge to Chrysalis with the C-4'S, and once I get to her, I need you to press the red button here on the detonator, the button will explode the C-4'S." Spectre told him simply "Understood?" He asked.

"Y-yes Spectre." Alistair said in a disconsolate tone.

"Good." Spectre said with a smile behind his mask. He then grabbed a radio from his back and gave it to him "Use this to contact me, press the button on the left." He instructed.

"O-okay." Alistair said as he grabbed the radio and detonator with his magic.

"Alright let's commence!" Spectre exclaimed.

Then, Spectre stuck both C-4'S on his chest and rushed towards Chrysalis hastily. And Alistair ran out of the castle and to a far distance as he could.

At the castle, Spectre was firing bullets directly at the bioweapon's face, and when each bullets collided in his face, the monster let our some pained grunts. Spectre was going to fire more shots, but suddenly, his gun started to click.

*Click Click*

"Oh crap I'm out of bullets!"

Then suddenly a sharp tentacle was stabbed through Spectre's chest.

"Augh!" Spectre grunted in pain. Then, he was reeled in near the monster's face.

When Spectre noticed that he was in a close enough distance. He raised his right hand up and started to contact Alistair.

"Alistair, press the detonator now!"

There was a brief moment of static, then a reply.

"O-okay, goodbye Spectre." Alistair stuttered.

"Goodbye buddy." Spectre said.

Then, Spectre looked back in front of him and gave his last words to the mutated Chrysalis.

"I see everything you loathsome insect!" Spectre exclaimed.

Five seconds later, the C-4'S exploded.

*BOOM!*
