//-------------------------------------------------------// Equestria's Spectre -by Timothy1509- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue Umbrella research facility In the Umbrella research facility, six Umbrella Security Service agents called the Delta team codenamed 'Wolfpack' was seen walking back and forth in the security room in search for the spy known as Ada Wong who has infiltrated their facility with someone. "Do you guys have anything?" The Delta team squad leader known as Lupo asked. "I don't see her anywhere." The demolition expert named Beltway replied with a shrug "Its like chasing someone in a maze." He complained. "Quit complaining Beltway, bioweapons have been chasing us ever since we've got here." The group's recon expert known as Vector told him in an aggravated tone. "Hey don't get too arrogant Vector I'm the one who had to-" "Will you two knock it off already?" The group's field scientist known as four eyes told them with a roll of her eyes behind her mask. "Yeah we need to focus so quit arguing like some five year olds." The medic known as Bertha told them. The two men did what they were told and shut their mouths and returned to focus. "Ugh, there's nothing on these security monitors." Four eyes said with a vexed expression "We might never even find that spy-" "Found something." The five agents all looked at their surveillance and marksman expert known as Spectre who is looking at a monitor. "What do you have Spectre?" Lupo asked as she and four members of her group walked up to his location. "See for yourselves." Spectre told them as he stepped aside. Then, Lupo, Beltway, Vector, Bertha and Four Eyes stepped forward and all looked at the monitor that Spectre was looking at. In the monitor, they saw the cop they were chasing near the R.P.D known as Leon Scott Kennedy, he is seen fighting a T-103 tyrant with his handgun. After firing four more shots, the tyrant fell down into the lava in the power room. The monitor then switched and the Delta team saw the spy they were chasing in the facility, and she looked injured. The spy and the cop then kissed for a brief moment then, the spy fainted. The footage ended with the cop looking back at the spy for a second and turning around running away. "Its that cop!" Vector exclaimed with wide eyes behind his mask. "He's still alive." Bertha said with a surprised expression. "He must have nine lives." Four eyes said with an impressed expression. "He's with that girl from earlier." Said Beltway. "We must not waste any more time, we need to pursue them immediately." Lupo ordered. Then, the base computer issued a warning again. "Warning! Installation self destruct sequence engaged. All personnel are to evacuate immediately." The base computer said. "Oh crap! The self destruct sequence." Beltway said. Before Lupo could say anything to her team, the U.S.S commander called them from their comm channel. "We've identified the police officer as Leon S. Kennedy. He's already gained access to classified areas of the facility and is likely in possession of sensitive information." The commander said "Shut down the self destruct and get rid of him!" He ordered. "Uh... don't want to be a downer sir but, there is no way to interrupt the self destruct sequence." Spectre told him. Then, the six agents heard a mad grunt from their comm channel and they must assume that he must be angry. "Arrgggh! How could this happen? Exterminate the cop now!" He commanded sternly. "Come on team let's go." Lupo said, then her team all readied their weapons and ran out of the security room. But, before Spectre could run out, he spotted something on the floor near him. "Huh?" Spectre said as he looked down, and when he did, he saw a container with a purple substance in it. He then bent down and picked it up with his right hand. "What is this?" Spectre asked, he then scanned the container with his goggles and they told him that the container he is holding is licker DNA sample. "Another licker DNA sample?" Spectre said with a perplexed expression behind his goggle mask "I thought the Umbrella scientists locked this in the research room." He finished with a confused expression. "Eh whatever, I'll just take it with me." Spectre said as he placed the container in one of his pockets in his vest "After all, it was my priority." He finished with a shrug. After that, he ran forward to catch up with his team. Lupo was running to the power room with her team beside her in pursue of the cop. While running, Lupo noticed that someone was missing, and that someone was Spectre. "Wait, where's Spectre?" Lupo and her team all stopped and looked behind them and saw that Spectre wasn't with them. "What the? Where is he?" Beltway Asked while looking around the place. "He was right behind me." Vector said. Then on cue, they saw Spectre turning around a corner and running up to them hastily. "Spectre where were you?" Lupo asked with a confused and enraged mixed expression. "Sorry Lupo, had to pick something up." Spectre replied. Lupo was going to ask him some questions but then, some noises stopped her. The Delta team looked forward and saw an army of twelve lickers crawling towards them. "Oh crap lickers!" Lupo exclaimed. The lickers then let out some roars and charged towards the team. "Open fire!" Then, the Delta team all aimed their assault rifles forward and fired at the lickers. The lickers all screeched in pain when the bullets collided with them. Most of them have been killed but five of them managed to reach them, and when they did they pulled their claws back and attempted to slash them with them. "Careful!" Shouted Lupo. Then, the Delta team all jumped out of the way and the five lickers crashed into the wall behind them stunning them in the process. "Forget about them just run!" Lupo yelled. Her team nodded and stood up from the ground. After that, they ran forward to the power room where they will catch the cop. 30 minutes later The Delta team has arrived at the power room after thirty minutes, and they were scrutinizing the area in search of the police officer. But, he was nowhere to be found. "Dammit!" Beltway exclaimed indignantly "We're too late!" He finished with an enraged expression. "Where's the woman then?" Vector said as he looked down at the first floor of the power room but, she wasn't there. "That spy is gone as well!" Vector said. "Ugh, can this mission get any worse?" Bertha said with an irked expression behind her mask. Bertha has spoke too soon because, there were some zombie and hunters coming after them from behind. "Shoot!" Spectre said as he fired on the zombies and hunters with his assault rifle. And he managed to get some of them down. "You just had to open your big mouth eh Bertha?" Four eyes asked with an indignant expression. "Arrgh..." Bertha said in frustration. "Forget about them, we must get out of here now." Lupo said. Her team nodded and ran to the ladders of the power room. Once they got to each ones, they began to climb them to the top of the power room. Twenty minutes later, the Delta team has arrived to the top floor of the power room. Then, they looked in front of them and saw the large rectangular door which lead to the surface platform. "That's our ticket out of here." Vector said. "Then let's go!" Beltway exclaimed. While running, Lupo decided to contact the commander. "Command! This is hopeless! We've got to get out of here." Lupo told him. "Arrgh! Fine! We'll deal with this later! Evacuate the facility!" The commander ordered "You'll have to get out on the service platform. GO!!" He told them. Then, Lupo looked back at her squad. "Guys let's go!" Then, the six agents rushed to the large open rectangular door way and to the service platform to get out of the facility. But suddenly, Spectre has been grabbed by his left arm. "Uggh!" Spectre grunted, he tried to move forward but, he got pulled back, and he got stuck on a railing. "Guys! Help!" Spectre called for them but, they have already ran through the door. Spectre looked back at what was grabbing him from behind, and when he did, he noticed a licker pulling him on a roof. Spectre looked at the licker for a moment then back down on the ground where the lava was. "Its trying to pull me into the lava." Spectre said to himself, he then pulled his right arm back and aimed his gun at the licker while looking at it. He took a deep breath and pulled the trigger, firing four shots at the licker. The four bullets have collided in the lickers brain and in screeched in agony. Then, it started to fall to the lava. "Haha! Take that you loathsome bio-" Spectre wasn't able to finish his sentence when the weight of the licker pulled him by his tongue which was still wrapped around tightly by his left arm. "Whoa!" Spectre yelled as he tripped over on the railing, then he began to fall down to the lava. "Ahh, gotta grab onto something!" Spectre yelled as he began to look around for something to grab onto, when he looked down, he saw that there is a railing just underneath him. Spectre wasted no time and stretched out his arms. Then, he has successfully grabbed onto the handle. And the licker's grasp was lose and it fell into the lava. "Phew, that was close." Spectre said as he let out his breath, then he looked up and started to climb up only to see some zombies walking towards him. "Oh crap!" Spectre said as he aimed his assault rifle at the zombies and fired some shots at their chest areas. But when the bullets collided with the zombies, it didn't even hurt them. He was going to shoot them in the chest again but, as he pulled the trigger of his assault rifle, he noticed that the magazine has ran out of bullets. "Shoot! My magazine is out!" Spectre yelled in shock. There was no way that he can reload while holding onto the railing so, he placed the assault rifle back on his back and reached for the samurai edge pistol in his belt. But before he could, he noticed a bright green flow underneath him. "Huh?" Spectre said as he looked down, and he saw something very fascinating. Underneath him on the lava area, was a large spiraling green circle of an object. Spectre couldn't make up what it was. "What the heck is that?" Spectre said with a bewildered expression behind his mask. Spectre wasn't able to get a good look at it when he felt something grabbing onto his hand. He looked in front of him and saw that one of the zombies was about to bite onto his hand which made his eyes widen. Spectre then looked down at the spiraling green circle for a moment then back up at the zombie. He now has to make a tough and petrifying decision. Should he drop down into the green object? Or get turned into a zombie. "No other choice!" Spectre yelled as he let go of the railing. Then, he fell. "Whoa!" Spectre yelled as he began to close in on the green object. Once his entire body got in contact with it, he fell into it and the green circular portal emitted a bright green glow which blinded the zombies. After fifteen seconds, the bright glow has dissipated and the green portal vanished. In the portal, Spectre was seen free falling hastily downwards. "Ahhhhhhhh!!!" He screamed "What is going on?!" He bawled as loud as a licker's screech. Ten seconds later, the long green spiraling area that Spectre was falling in has dissolved, and what he saw next was not good as well because, underneath him were trees. "This is gonna hurt." Spectre said quietly as he shielded his face with his arms. Then, he crashed into the tree leaves and the branches. After hitting three tree branches, Spectre has crashed roughly onto the ground with a grunt. When Spectre noticed that he has landed onto the ground, he tried to get up. But, the pain from the fall has gotten the best of him and he lost his conciousness. Author's Note The first chapter of my new crossover story has been accomplished! I hope you enjoyed it! Spectre groaned as he slowly began to open his eyes "What happened to me?" He asked himself weakily. He then opened his eyes. At first, his visions behind his goggle mask was blurry. But when his eyes worked again, Spectre could see clearly in front of him. "What the? Where am I?" Spectre asked as he turned his head around slowly so he doesn't hurts his brain. After observing his surroundings for a brief moment, he noticed that there are trees, rocks, grass and many more around him. "This is a forest." Spectre said with a surprised expression. "I should probably get myself back up." He told himself. Then, Spectre placed both his hands on the ground and slowly pushed himself back up. But when he did, he began to stagger backwards and he fell on his back. "Well that was a terrible start." Spectre said with an irritated expression. Then, he realized that his stuffs are gone. "What the?! Where are my guns?!" Spectre said while looking around the place. When he looked to his left, he saw his guns and ther equipments piled up next to a rock. "Thank goodness." He said as he let out a sigh of relief. He then pushed himself off the ground and back up on his feets. After that, he walked up to the rock where his weapons were laid next to. Once he got to it, he bent down and picked up his pistol first and pushed it into his gun belt. After that, he put his other equipments at the left side of his belt. And finally, he picked up his assault rifle. "Alright, let me just check my equipments." Spectre said. Then, he began to scrutinize his equipments. Assault rifle 25 clips Samurai edge 16 clips 5 hand grenades 2 incendiary grenades 4 stun grenades combat knife First aid spray 2 C4'S "Okay, that's all of my weapons." Spectre said with a relieved expression "Now all that's left is the-" Spectre stopped in his mid sentence when he noticed that the licker DNA sample he took from the Umbrella security room was not in his belt anymore. "What the?! Where's the licker sample?!" Spectre exclaimed as he looked around him, but the sample was nowhere near him. "I better find it asap!" He said to himself. Then, Spectre began to venture into the forest. On the other side of the Everfree forest, an orange earth pony mare named Applejack was seen holding a basket of apples that she just got after kicking some trees in the forest. "Wow, this section of the Everfree forest sure does have a lot of trees." Applejack said with a surprised expression at how quickly the basket got full. "I should get back to sweet apple acres now so that I can make some apple pies for ma family." She told herself. Then, Applejack picked up the basket of apples and began to make her way back to her home from the path she took. But, some noises stopped her. "Huh?" Applejack said as she turned to the source of the noise, she listened again and heard that they were some hoofsteps noises, but those ones were a bit louder "Who's there?" Applejack asked with a perplexed expression. Then, Applejack ran to where the source of the noises were. And when she got to a bush, she slowly poked her head up and saw a creature that she has never seen before. The creature was bipedal like Spike, it is all black coloured, it has pockets on his back and torso, it had wires wrapped around it's right arm which connected to some sort of strange device. It was also carrying some strange metal objects on it's hands as well as one on it's pocket. And it also had some sort of canisters on the back of its pocket. "What is that?" Applejack asked with a bewildered expression. "I've never seen any creatures like that before in the Everfree forest." She added. Then, Applejack decided to remain hidden in the bushes to avoid being spotted by the strange creature. Spectre has been walking through the unknown forest in search of the licker DNA sample for forty minutes now. And it seems that the sample was nowhere here. "That's strange, where's the sample?" Spectre said as he began to scan the area with his goggles. "If only I had closed my pocket." He grumbled with an irked expression. Spectre was going make a right turn but suddenly, some rattling noises stopped him. "What was that?" Spectre asked as He turned around, and when he did, he saw a bush rattling in front of him. Spectre then placed his assault rifle on his back and unholstered his samurai edge pistol. Then, he aimed it at the bush. "I should activate thermal vision." Spectre told himself, then he raised his left hand and tried to click on the button on the left side of his goggle mask which was the thermal vision mode. But before he could, the creature pounced out of the bushes and directly towards him. "Holy crap!" Spectre exclaimed as he rolled out of the way, and whatever lunged at him fell on the ground roughly with a thud. Spectre pushed himself back up quickly and looked at whatever just pounced at him. And what he saw was unbelievable, in front of him was a wolf with a wooden structure. "What the? Is that a wolf made of wood?" Spectre said with a perplexed expression, he has never seen a creature like that before. But, before Spectre could scrutinize the wooden wolf further, it let out an angry growl and charged towards him with its sharp claws ready to stab him. When Spectre noticed this, he decided to let the wooden wolf come towards him first. Once the wolf closed its distance with Spectre, it pounced towards him. Spectre replied with the front kick to the wolf's nose, and the force of his kick made the wolf fly a few feet back and falling on the ground roughly. The wolf then instantly pushed itself back up and let out an infuriated roar, he was ready to strike again, but before he could do that, Spectre shot at him with his samurai edge pistol. *BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!* The wolf let out some whimpers when the creature's metal object hit him in its torso and face. And it was serverely injured, but it could still stand up. When Spectre noticed the wolf still standing despite its large wounds. He fired another two shots at its face. *BANG! BANG!* When the two bullets collided into the wolf's face, the wood shattered everywhere and it's whole face exploded into bits. Then, the wolf's headless structure fell on on the ground dead. "That was one heck of a creature." Spectre said with an astonished expression. He then holstered his pistol back into his belt. After that, he walked up to the wolf he killed. Once he got to it, he bent down and began to study it. "What is this thing." Spectre said in a disoriented tone "I've seen petrifying bioweapons before in Umbrella, but never something like this." He finished. But, he decided to let go of the thought and proceed with his obligation in finding the licker sample. "Whatever, I have a more significant work to do rather than looking at this dead wolf." Spectre said as he stood up on his feet "That licker sample is still somewhere here." He finished, then he turned around and walked into the forest again. Applejack has just witnessed what had happened in front of her, and she had a traumatized expression on her after seeing the conflict between the creature and the timber wolf. The timber wolf was fearsome to many ponies including her and her friends. But, this creature just killed it instantly with its metal thing which made a tumoltuous sound that made her jump. "Oh ma Celestia what is that thing?" Applejack said in a scandalized tone from the battle she just witnessed "Ah should investigate this creature further, maybe Twilight, Thorax or ma nephew Alistair might know what it is." She told herself. After that, Applejack stepped out of the bush and began to follow the creature cautiously. And she left her basket of apples behind the bush so that it wouldn't make her fail her approach. While walking Spectre was observing the forest cautiously for the sample, but it was nowhere to be found in this place as well. Spectre was going to activate a feature on his goggles that allows him to look through solid objects. But before he could, he caught the sound of footsteps coming from behind. Spectre took a few seconds to listen to the sound, and he noticed that the footsteps were getting closer and closer to him. "Someone's behind me." Spectre thought "Whoever it is, they are going to regret it." He said to himself with a smirk behind his goggle mask, then he decided to let whoever was behind him get closer to him. Once the footsteps got louder and louder, Spectre turned around and low sweeped his follower. "Ahhh!" Yelled a female voice. Spectre then looked down at the at the source of the noise and saw something very unique and unexcpected. Underneath him was an orange coloured horse with blonde hair, a blonde mane, three apple marks on it's flanksand it is wearing a cowboy hat. "What in tarnation are you?" Applejack asked as she slowly stood up on the ground from the unexpected attack. Spectre's eyes shot wide in surprise when he heard the horse speaking. "D-did you just talk?" Spectre asked. Applejack was just as surprised and shocked as the creature was right now because, it just spoke Equestrian. "Did you just speak Equestrian?" Applejack asked, and Spectre got perplexed by the word Equestrian. But, he didn't bother to know. "Whatever, just get out of here little girl, I don't want to talk." Spectre insulted her. Applejack got a bit angry when she heard the creature insulting her by calling her a little girl. "Why you, that ain't nice you know mister." Applejack said with a mad expression. "I don't care, now leave." Spectre demanded again as be pointed behind her "This is your last chance." He warned her in a cold tone that almost matched Vector's. The cold tone has sent chills down to Applejack's spine, the voice of the creature was very scary as well. But, she stuffed her agitation down and glared at the creature. "You dare insult and talk to the element of honesty like that?" Applejack asked with an infuriated expression. Then, she got into a stance "You will pay for making me trip earlier!" She yelled. Then, Applejack stomped on the ground and flung herself towards the creature, attempting to hit the creature in the chest with a headbutt. When Spectre the attack, he simply dodged it by sidestepping to the left. And Applejack was sent crashing onto the ground roughly. But, she recovered quickly and pushed herself back up from the dirt. "Why you! Your going to pay for that!" Applejack said with an enraged expression. "Bring it on little girl." Spectre mocked. Applejack took the insult and charged towards the creature with her left hoof swung back. She then attempted to punch it in the chest. When Spectre noticed the attack, he evaded it again by side stepping to the left. Applejack was getting angry after the miss, she then stomped her hooves on the ground again and flung herself towards the creature's face. When Spectre noticed the temerarious attempt, he countered it with a twist kick to the horse's face. And when the kick made contact with Applejack's face, she was sent flying and crashing into a tree and falling on the ground with a pained grunt. Applejack tried to stand up and fight again but, the pain has gotten the best of her and she lost her consciousness. "Well that was easy." Spectre said with a surprised expression "That wasn't even my strongest hit." He added in a surprised tone. "Ah well whatever, she deserves it for attacking me first." Spectre said with a shrug, he then looked at the unconscious horse one more time "Good night horsey, I hope you'll get bad dreams." Spectre said in a cold tone. After that, he turned around and started walking again. "Now I've concluded that fight, it's time for me to look for the sample." Spectre told himself. Then, he began to walk deeper into the forest. But what he didn't know is that he is walking towards a town. Author's Note The second chapter has been completed! I hope you all enjoyed it! //-------------------------------------------------------// Discovery //-------------------------------------------------------// Discovery On the other side of the Everfree forest, a four years old changeling and pony alicorn or changelicorn hybrid named Alistair was seen walking back home to the Changeling Kingdom after school. Alistair is the Prince of the Changeling Kingdom and friendship. He will be heir to the two thrones soon after his parents retire. While walking, Alistair was holding up a paper with his magic which showed all of his results in his exams in Celestia's school for gifted unicorns. And he was looking at it with a large smile on his muzzle. "Alright, another successful term at school!" Alistair said with an exuberant expression "My parents would be so proud of me!" He finished with an exhilarated smile. After walking for a brief second, Alistair has finally arrived at his home in the Changeling Kingdom. "Home sweet home." Alistair said with a smile. After that, he walked up to the front gates of the changeling Kingdom. At the front gates of the changeling kingdom, two changeling guards in armor were guarding the Kingdom with spears equipped on them. Then, they heard some hoofsteps coming directly towards them. The two guards both averted their eyes in front of them and saw the Prince Alistair walking up towards them. "Prince Alistair." The two guards said in unison with a bow of their heads. "Greetings guards." Alistair said as he waved his right hoof at them "I have just returned from school after getting my exam results paper." He told them. "That's great to hear your majesty." The green changeling guard said with a smile. Then, the two guards pushed opened the gate and stepped aside allowing passage for him "Have a great day your highness." He told him as he and his comrade bowed again. "Thank you." Alistair said with a warm smile. After that, Alistair walked through the gates and towards the front doors of his home. Once Alistair has reached the front doors of his home, two changeling guards one male and the other a female who were assigned to guard the doors pushed them open for him. They then stepped aside to allow him through. When Alistair saw that the two doors have been pushed opened by his guards who are also his subjects, he let out an appreciative smile and walked past them, and the two guards bowed their heads. Then, Alistair stepped inside and began to climb upstairs to the fourth floor of the castle to where the throne room is in a hasty and enthusiastic way. In the changeling hive throne room, King Thorax and Queen Twilight Sparkle were seen sitting on their thrones under their newly installed glass frame on the roof . And Twilight had her head rested on her husband's shoulder after all of their hard work in protecting the hive and Ponyville from enemies last week. "Last week sure was quite dramatic don't you agree Thory?" Twilight asked looking up at her husband. "Indeed it was Twily." Thorax nodded in agreement "We had to fight back against King Sombra's army with our friends." He said. "Yeah and I gotta say, you were quite brave and strong when you came up with those ideas and risks." Twilight told him with a proud expression. And Thorax chuckled at her statement. "Thank you Twily." Thorax said with a smile. After that, the changeling and the alicorn both leaned in close to each other and shared a tender kiss. After five seconds, they released and chuckled in a cute manner. Then, Thorax and Twilight heard some running and tiny hooves stomping noises coming towards them. They both looked in front of them and saw their son Alistair running towards them. "Daddy! Mommy!" "Alistair!" They both said in unison with wide smiles. Once Alistair has reached towards his parents thrones, he climbed up the steps and looked up at them with wide smiles. "Welcome back honey." Twilight cooed as she gently patted her son on the forehead. "It's good to see you back my son." Thorax said. "Thank you daddy, thank you mommy." Alistair said with a smile, then he activated his horn and levitated a sheet of paper in front of his parents faces. "Check this out daddy and mommy, these are my results from My exams at school." Alistair told them enthusiastically. Twilight then levitated the sheet of paper in front of her and her husband, and Twilight gasped when she saw what the sheet of paper had on it, and Thorax had wide eyes. Alistair's exam results Magic: A+ Mathematics: A+ Chemistry: A+ Health: A+ Sports: A+ Position in class: 1/30 Celestia's comment: Dear King Thorax and Queen Twilight Sparkle of the changeling kingdom. Your son has done a remarkable job with all of his subjects at school. His results are very astonishing and he may advance to the higher classes after the summer holidays. Twilight and Thorax were both very flabbergasted when they saw what theu read from the sheet. Alistair has once again did a fantastic job at school and is once again advancing to a higher class. "Wow Alistair, mommy is so proud of you!" Twilight exclaimed, she then activated her horn and levitated her son up in the air a few feet and pulled him close to her. Then, she embraced him in a hug. "My son has done it again!" Thorax said as he gently patted his son on the head. Then, he embraced his wife and son in a hug. "Hehehe, thank you mommy, thank you daddy." Alistair said as he embraced her mother in the torso as well as giving his father a warm smile. After embracing each other for twenty seconds, the three royals released each other and laughed. "Hey mommy, daddy." Alistair called them. "Yes honey?" "Today is the first day of summer, so do you think that you two can bring me to a theme park please?" Alistair asked kindly. "Why of course honey, we can go now." Twilight told him with a smile. "Really?" Alistair asked with a exuberant expression. "Of course we can." Thorax replied with a nod "Now, let's have a great family day out!" He said with an exhilarated smile. "Yay!" Alistair yelled enthusiastically. But before they could even start the merriment trip, a letter has magically appeared in front of Twilight's face, and that has caught them off completely. "Huh? What is this?" Twilight asked with a perplexed expression. Then, she picked up the letter with her hooves and unfolded it. After that, she began to read what is written on it. Dear Thorax and Twilight Hello Thorax and Twilight, how's everything been? I hope you two are feeling well. And sorry if this letter has bothered you but, we have a serious problem. And that is, Applejack is in the hospital with some serious contusions on her. We asked her what has happened but when we did, she was describing something about a tall bipedal creature that we have no idea what she is saying. So, we need you in Ponyville hospital now. From Pinkie Pie Twilight was very traumatized when she read the letter. And she was a bit disoriented from it as well when Pinkie wrote something about Applejack talking about a tall bipedal creature. She then looked at her husband. "Thorax, we have to go to Ponyville hospital, our friends urgently requests us there." Twilight told him. "Huh? Well okay then." Thorax said with a nonplus expression. Twilight then looked down on her hooves where her son was sitting on with a sorrowful expression. "Sorry honey, it seems like our theme park trip has been defer." Twilight said as she gently stroked her son's head "Mommy and daddy has an urgent request from your aunts, and it would seem like our time at the theme part will have to start after your meeting with your subjects in Canterlot tomorrow. I hope your not angry." She finished with a depressed expression. Alistair was a bit disillusioned when he heard that, he has great and exhilarating plans for this trip before his royal meeting with his pony and changeling subjects. But, he pushed all of the depression out of his head and accepted it. After all, his parents do have a lot of work to do as royals just like how he is busy in helping his subjects with lots of work as well as keeping the hive and Ponyville in good shape with the help of his aunts. "Its okay mommy, I can wait." Alistair said in a soft tone. Twilight was thoroughly surprised when she heard her son's reply. But, her surprised expression has turned into a grateful and relief one. "Thank you so much honey." Twilight said as she kissed her son on the forehead. "Your welcome mommy." "You are the greatest son ever." Thorax said with a smile. "Why don't you go and play in the playground in Ponyville for a while?" He counselled. "Okay I guess." Alistair replied with a shrug. "That's my son." Twilight said as she nuzzled him in a loving way that any mother's would express their love to their children. After that, Twilight stood up from her throne with her son in her hooves. And Thorax stood up right after her. Then, they both walked off the steps that lead to their thrones. Once they were off, Twilight lowered her son on the floor softly. "Goodbye my son." Twilight cooed as she kissed him on the cheek "We promise that we will be back as soon as possible to play with you." She told him. "That's is right." Throax nodded in agreement. "Okay." The family embraced each other in a hug for a brief moment again then released with warm smiles on their muzzles. After the tender moment, Thorax and Twilight both turned around and left the throne room and headed towards the exit of the changeling Kingdom. Once Alistair's parents were out of sight, Alistair let out a sigh and looked on the floor with a depressed expression. "I guess I'll just have to play in the playground in Ponyville." Alistair said with a shrug "But first, I need to put down my stuffs." He told himself. Then, Alistair walked up to the doors of his and his parents throne room. Once he got to the doors, he slowly pushed them opened. After that, he began to walk down the hallway to his room. Everfree forest 11:52am In the Everfree forest, Spectre was seen walking on the forest making some loud stomps. And the reason behind that is because he has been looking for the licker DNA sample for over an hour now to his assumption. It is still nowhere to be found. "Ugh! I have been walking through this damn forest for an hour now!" Spectre exclaimed with a vexed expression. "And the sample is still nowhere to be found! If it was taken by someone, they will regret it." Spectre said in a cold tone. Spectre then pressed a button beside his goggle mask which was the look through feature. Once it has been activated, he began to look around the place in search of the sample. When he looked at his left and right, he saw that the sample was still nowhere to be found. And that got him drastically frustrated. But, when he looked forward, his goggle has detected something. And that something is a large house. "What is that?" Spectre asked with a perplexed expression. He then deactivated his goggles look through feature and started to walk to where he saw the houses. After walking for twenty seconds, Spectre noticed that there is a small footpath in front of him. And he must assume that this is a path that leads to those houses he saw in his goggles. Then, he walked up on the footpath. After walking for thirty seconds, Spectre has made it to the top of the footpath. And what he saw then was utterly unbelievable and astonishing. In front of him was a large town with houses, flowers, rivers and many more pulchritudinous things. Spectre then looked more closely in the town and saw that there were more of those colourful horses walking around in there talking to each other. Those horses almost looks the same as the one he fought in the forest. And they certainly don't look like bioweapons to him. "This is definetly not Raccoon City." Spectre said to himself. He has never seen a town like this before, and it's filled with horses, not humans. "What is this place?" Spectre asked with a perplexed expression. He then looked to his right and saw a sign. "What does that sign says?" Spectre asked as he walked to the sign. Once he got to it, he noticed that there are some words labelled on them, so he started to read them. Welcome to Ponyville the happiest town in Equestria! Population:1000 "Ponyville? So this is what this place is called." Spectre asked with a bewildered expression "So, that orange horse I encountered in the forest was not a horse but a pony." He said with a surprised expression. Before Spectre could look at the town again, he heard some hoofsteps noises coming towards him. "Oh crap, someone is coming, I gotta hide." Spectre said to himself. He then looked for a hiding place, when he looked to his right, he saw a large bush "Perfect." Spectre said with a pleased smile. Then, he ran towards the bush. Once he got to it, he jumped over it and hid behind it. Once the hoofsteps got closer and closer near him, he looked through the bush in front of him and saw two ponies, one grey coloured and the other blue coloured. "That's strange, there was something there." The grey female coloured pony said in a perplexed tone as she looked around the area. "What was this thing you said you saw?" The blue coloured female pony asked. "I saw a black figure standing here Lake, it was quite tall as well." She replied. "Blossom, why don't we just forget about what you just saw and go to Rarity's boutique?" Lake asked her friend "We have to prepare ourselves for the royal meeting with King Thorax and Queen Twilight's son remember?" She reminded her. Then, Blossom looked at Lake with her eyes shot open. "Oh right! Let's go then!" Then, the two mares turned around and rushed back into town. When Spectre noticed that the coast was all clear, he slowly walked out of his hiding place and returned to where he stood. Once he did, he looked at the pony filled town once more. "I should find a place to hide in there." Spectre told himself "I might be able to hide and find out where I really am." He finished. He then looked at the town once more and began to formulate a plan on how he can walk through without being spotted by the ponies. When he looked down at his right, he saw that there were two houses next to each other, and between the two houses must be an alleyway. "There must be an alleyway between those two houses." Spectre told himself, "Alright, commencing stealth." He said. After Spectre has said those words, he rushed down the footpath in a careful way and into the town. Once he has made it into the town, he made a dash towards the house he saw and stuck his back against it. He then slowly poked his head out and saw that the ponies have not seen him. "Alright, objective one has been fufilled." Spectre told himself with a satisfied smile behind his goggle mask "Now moving onto step two, sneak into the alleyway." He said to himself in his mind. Then, he slowly shimmied to his left. Once he got to the left end of the house, he slowly poked his head out again to see if there are any ponies there. And to his great surprise, there was no one there. And in front of him to his left was the alleyway he saw. "Today is my lucky day." Spectre thought with a grin. After that, he pushed himself off the wall and walked to the alleyway entrance or exit. Once he got to the alleyway, he observed it and saw a large green trash storage bin in the center of it, perfect for him to hide behind. "Perfect." Then Spectre slowly began to make his approach towards the trash bin. When he got around seven centimetres close to it, he noticed some hoof running noises. That prompted him to jump and roll towards the trash bin. Once he has successfully rolled to the trash bin, he knelt on one knee and cautiously poked his head out and saw that there were some ponies walking past the alleyway that he is in. And it is a very good sign that they are not entering it. Spectre then began to think of another plan. "I need to hide somewhere, a large town like this would probably have a public library." Spectre assumed "But where could it be?" He asked himself. "Your looking for a library mister? There's one in the center of town." Replied a female voice. "Thank you ma'am-" Spectre immediately stopped in his sentence when he heard the voice. He turned to his left and saw a beige coloured pony standing right in front of him. Spectre wasted no time and he grabbed the pony. He covered the ponies muzzle with his left gloved hand and held her tightly near his chest. The pony tried to struggle free from the creature's grasp, but before she could, a sharp touch was gently felt on her neck. The pony averted her eyes down on her neck and saw a sharp blade held on her neck area. "Who are you?" Spectre demanded an answer. But the pony could only muffle. "I will slowly remove my hand from your mouth." Spectre told her "But if you do something impulsive such as screaming for help, I will slit your throat." He warned her in a cold tone. The pony began to sweat anxiously when she heard the creature's statement as well as its creepy voice, and chills went down on her spine. Spectre then slowly removed his left hand from her mouth and wrapped his arm around her torso preventing her from running away. Then, he began to interrogate her. "Who are you?" "My name is Bon bon sir, I am an earth pony." The pony replied in a frightened tone. Spectre got very perplexed by that name. "What kind of name is that?" Spectre thought with a bewildered expression behind his goggle mask. But, he pushed the confusion out of his head and asked her another question. "How did you find me?" "How did I found you?" Bon bon asked with a raise of her eyebrow "I should ask you what you a-" Bon bon wasn't able to finish her sentence when the creature holding her pushed it's blade down on her throat again. "I'm asking you a question here miss." Spectre told her "Now answer it, or else you will never talk again." He warned her in a hazardous tone. Bon bon was truly agitated when she heard the creature's detrimental tone again, and she was feeling very apprehensive right now. She then decided not to ask the strange creature any questions and answer his. "O-okay, I-I found you when I walked past here." She replied. Spectre did not get that vague statement at all. He did not even see anyone when he snuck here. He was going to ask her again but suddenly, another female voice ceased him. "Leave my friend alone you monster!" Spectre looked in front of him and saw a light green coloured pony. But, this one is quite different compared to the one he is holding. The beige coloured pony is just a normal pony while the green coloured one has a horn on its forehead. "What is that thing?" Spectre asked himself in his mind with a bewildered expression "Is that suppost to be a unicorn?" He asked himself in his mind again. Spectre was going to scrutinize this pony but before he could do that, he noticed that it's horn is starting to glow very brightly. And that got him very perplexed. "What is it doing?" But before Spectre could examine the glow even further, the light green pony fired a blast out of its horn. And the blast was coming straight towards him at a high speed. When Spectre noticed the incoming projectile, he let go of the beige coloured pony in his hands and lied on the ground. Then, the magic blast hit the trash bin with a 'TINK!' noise. Then, the light green coloured pony ran up towards the beige coloured pony and helped her up. "Thanks Lyra." "Your welcome Bon bon." Lyra said with a smile "Come on, let's get out of here." She told her. Bon bon nodded and ran out of the alleyway with her friends. When Spectre noticed this, he immediately pushed himself back up. "I can't let them leave!" Spectre told himself sternly. He then started to run after the two ponies, who were nearing the exit or entrance of the alleyway. When Lyra and Bon bon heard loud footsteps behind them, they must assume that the creature was chasing them. So they began to pick up the pace. But the creature was still near them. "Almost there." Spectre said as he began to reach for the light green ponies mane with his right hand. But suddenly, their chase has lead the ponies and Spectre in town. When Lyra and Bon bon felt the creature's hand close to them. They stomped on the ground harder and zoomed away. Spectre tried to grab the light green ponies mane but before he can even do that, the two ponies have zoomed away making him fail his attempt. "Dammit!" Spectre said with an infuriated expression as he stopped in his tracks "They got off lucky this time." He said in a bitter tone. When Spectre looked forward, he realized that he has just ran out of the alleyway. Then, he heard some loud gasps around him. He looked around him and saw that there were lots ponies starting at him with wide eyes and frightened expressions. After a few moments of awkward silence, the crowd has erupted into screams and began to run in every direction. "Ahh! A monster!" Screamed a female pony. "What is that beast?!" A male pony yelled. "So much for stealth." Spectre thought with a roll of his eyes behind his mask. "I should get out of here." Spectre told himself. He then turned around and attempted to run back to where he came from. But, before he could even do that, six ponies in golden armour wielding wooden spears ran up at him. "Halt!" One of the ponies yelled who Spectre assumed was the leader "Who are you?! And why are you in our town?" The pony demanded an answer. Spectre decided to not disclose any informations to him. Because, he doesn't have the rights to ask him questions. And who does he thinks he is? "I won't disclose anything to you pony." Spectre told him "Now you morons better get out of my sight, or I'll do it myself." He warned him in a cold tone. The guards were shocked ro hear rhe creature speak Equestrian. But when the heard the creature's insult, they all began to grit their teeth in anger. They were feeling extremely antagonistic towards it. "How dare you?" The guard growled. Then, he looked back at his men "Teach him a lesson that he will never forget!" "Yes captain Shining Armor!" Then, all six of the guards surrounded the creature in a circle with their wooden spears aimed at it. But the creature showed no signs of agitation. "Just like usual." Spectre thought. Then, he got into a fighting stance and prepared for combat "This is gonna be one heck of a day." He said to himself in his mind. Author's Note The third chapter of my story has been accomplished! None making any moves. The six guards were all aiming their spears at the creature awaiting orders form their captain. While Spectre was just standing there waiting for their attacks. After a brief moment of silence, the blue haired pony known as Shining Armor shouted some words. "You, attack him." "Yes sir." The guard said with a salute. Then, the guard armed with a wooden spear charged forward with its weapon ready to stab the creature in the chest. When Spectre noticed the attack, he awaited for the pony to get close to him. When the guard has closed its distance between himself and the creature, he swung his hooves back and prepared to stab it in the chest. Spectre responded by side stepping avoiding the spear in the process. Then, he low sweeped the guard. And when his legs came in contact with the ponies front two hooves, the pony tripped and fell face first onto the ground dropping his spear in the process. The guard tried to get up from the attack but Spectre didn't gave him the chance. Instead, he swung his right leg back and kicked the guard in the torso. When the kick made contact with the guard's torso, he was sent flying and crashing into a house. After that, he fell on the ground unable to get up because of his contusion that he has received. The five guards were traumatized when they saw what the creature has done to their comrade. "Huh, you guys are soft." Spectre said sarcastically. Shining Armor including all of his men were very infuriated she they heard the creature's sarcastic insult. "Grrr, charge at him together!" Shining yelled. Then, all five guards charged towards Spectre with their spears aimed at him. "Give it your best shot." Spectre said quietly. When the first guard closed his distance with the creature, he pulled his spear back and attempted to stab it in the chest. But, it turned out to be a futile idea when the creature grabbed his spear and pulled it upwards bringing the guard with it. "Whoa!" Spectre then finished the guard by throwing him to the ground. And the force of the impact left a small hole on the ground. It also knocked him out. The second guard tried to hit it in the head with the top of his spear. When Spectre noticed the attack he raised his right hand up and countered the attack with his wrist. And both of them began to struggle. When one of the guard's noticed that his comrade was occupied, he noticed that it was his chance to attack him. So, he took the chance to attack him. Spectre was desperately trying to push the ponies spear back and make him fall on the ground. But, some noises caught his attention. He looked to his right, and saw a guard charging towards him with a spear aimed forward towards his right leg. When Spectre noticed this, he looked at the charging pony for a moment then back down at the pony who is still trying to hit his head with his spear. Then, a cunning plan has formulated in his head. He grabbed the ponies spear and yanked it away form him. Then, he threw it away. When the guard noticed that he was unarmed, he got a bit terrified. He turned around and tried to run. But suddenly, the creature grabbed him by the head with its right hand, and the guard struggled to free himself. "Let go you loathing monkey!" "Okay." Spectre said with a nod "But after I do this!" Spectre yelled as he swung his right arm back and threw the pony directly at the other pony charging towards him. The guard wasn't able to dart out of the way in time and he and his comrade tumbled forward and stopping at a wall unconscious. "Alright thats five down." Spectre said to himself in his head with a pleased expression behind his goggle mask "Now where is the last one-" Spectre wasn't able to look around him when he felt an excruciating pain in his left arm. "Ahhhhhh!" "Haha! Got you now creature." Shining Armor said with so much victory in his voice. Spectre then slowly turned his head to his left and saw a spear stabbed in his left arm. He also saw the blue haired pony who was the leader looking at him with a victorious smile. Spectre must assume that the pony has stabbed him. "I'll give you one chance to surrender creature, if you comply and come with me to Canterlot to greet the prin-" Shining Armor wasn't able to finish his sentence when the creature turned itself towards him. The sudden movement has made Shining Armor loose his grip on his spear. Spectre then grabbed the spear with his right hand and pulled it out letting out a loud grunt in the process. Then, he threw the blood stained spear on the floor next to him and pressed his wound with his right arm. When Shining Armor noticed that the creature was still okay. He then got into a stance. "I can fight you even without my weapon creature!" Then, Shining Armor charged towards the creature letting out a battlecry in the process. When Spectre noticed this, he awaited for the pony to come near him. Once Shining Armor has closed himself with the creature, he tried to punch it in the chest. But, it turned out to be a futile idea when the creature did a spin and reverse kicked him in the face. The force of the kick was so strong that Shining was sent flying up in the air a few feet and crashing on the ground with a grunt. The kick has also given him a red mark on his cheek. After the battle, Spectre observed his surroundings once more to see if there are any more ponies trying to attack him. When he saw that there were no one around him, he must assume that he has won the combat. "All of you lose." Spectre told them coldly. Then, he turned around and started to walk to the exit of the town and back to the forest while staggering after each step. Unknown to him, there was a young colt staring at him with his mouth gaping in a scandalized way. "Oh my Celestia, what is that thing?" Alistair asked with a traumatized expression. Prince Alistair has just witnessed what had happened when he was hiding in a bush. He then looked back down at the guards and saw that most of them are very wounded, they all had contusions on them and they were bleeding. When he looked down to his right, he saw his uncle Shining Armor on the ground with a bruise on his left cheek, he is also bleeding from his mouth. "Uncle Shining Armor!" When Shining Armor heard the intimate voice, he looked up in front of him and saw his four years old nephew Alistair running up towards him. "A-Alistair?" "Uncle what happened?" "Me and my men have fought a creature that we have never seen before." Shining replied "He seemed very strong." He added. After Alistair has heard his uncle's reply, he pulled out a sheet of paper from his sketch book and levitated it in front of him with his magic. Then, he pulled our his pencil and began to write a letter. And the sight got Shining Armor very perplexed. "What are you doing Alistair?" "Writing a letter to the hospital so that you can be treated by the doctors there." Alistair replied simply "And I don't think my healing magic can do much." He added with a shrug. "Oh, thank you." "You welcome." After writing for fifteen more seconds, Alistair has finished writing. He then levitated the paper up in the air a few feet. After that, his horn brightened and a purple aura began to surround the paper even more. After ten more seconds, the letter vanished. "There, the letter has been sent to the hospital." Alistair told him. "Thank you." "Your welcome uncle." Alistair said with a smile "Be sure to tell your men to rest for a bit until their wounds heal up okay?" He told him. "We will Alistair." "Good." After that, Alistair turned to his right and started to walk to the exit of Ponyville, and Shining Armor got perplexed again. "Where are you going?" "Into the forest." Alistair replied simply. And Shining's eyes widened in horror when he heard that. "Y-you shouldn't do that." Shining told him with an apprehensive expression. "Its okay uncle, if anything happens I will use my magic to protect myself." Alistair told him in a self-assured tone. After that, he ran to the uphill of Ponyville and into the forest. Shining Armor was left lying there with an expression of anxiety to his nephew who has just rushed out of Ponyville and into the forest. "Oh my Celestia, this is not good." Shining said in an anxious tone "Twilight is going to be so worried, and even worse, if she finds out that I didn't stop him, she will kill me." He finished nervously. In the Everfree forest, Spectre was seen walking in the Everfree forest staggering after each step because of his large wound in his arm. He has been maimed badly. He tried to reach out for his first aid spray in his pocket, but if he tried, he might bleed out. So he kept clutching his wound with his right hand and started to find shelter. "I must find shelter." Spectre told himself weakily because of his wound. After walking ten more steps, Spectre's vision started to blur and he struggled to keep himself conscious, but he couldn't, his wound was too serious. "Must keep moving forward........" "Report." Chrysalis said. "My Queen we have no signs of the creature anywhere in the Everfree forest." The changeling reported. When Chrysalis heard this, she was very vexed. "Oh come on!" Chrysalis yelled in frustration which made some of her other drones jump "How could I fail again?" She asked with an enrsged expression. "But your highness, there's something else that I have to report." The changeling told her. Chrysalis's eyes widened in surprise when she heard that, she then looked back down at her drone with a half composed and angry expression. "What is it?" "While we did not find the creature you attempted to capture, we did manage to find a strange belonging of his." The changeling replied. "There is also a small syringe next to it." He added The changeling's statement has captured Chrysalis's surprise and interest completely. "Show it to me." The Changeling nodded and reached into his satchel. He activated his horn and levitated a small container with a glowing red substance in it. Chrysalis's eyes widened when she saw the small container of the creature, she saw the creature's kind making some monsters out of those weird containers in large laboratories. Then, she smirked dastardly. "This is just what I am looking for." Chrysalis said to herself quietly. "Give it to me." She ordered. The Changeling guard nodded and walked up to his Queen with the container levitated in front of him. After stepping up the small steps, the Changeling guard has reached his Queen's throne. Chrysalis then grabbed the container with her magic and levitated it in front of her with a wicked smirk, there was indeed a small syringe on its left side like what her drone said. "What are you going to do with it my Queen?" Chrysalis replied by levitating the syringe off the side of the container and turning it upside down. Then, she saw a small covered hole which she assumed is where she can extract some of the samples out. So, she pulled open the small lid and inserted the needle area of the syringe into the red substance. After that, she pulled the plunger flange back and tiny substance of the red sample was inserted into the barrel of the syringe. And finally, she pulled the syringe out. "Perfect." Chrysalis said in a vile tone. After that, she looked at her drone in front of her "Come here my drone." She ordered him. The changeling was a bit edgy and uncertain about his Queen's order, and juding by that expression, something wicked must've been formed in her mind. But, he pushed all of that out of his mind and obeyed his Queen. "Yes my Queen." Then, the changeling stuffed his anxiety down and walked up to his Queen. But, after he took one step forward, the Queen placed her right hoof at the back of his head and pulled him in near her hooves which caught him off guard. After that, Chrysalis levitated the syringe up in the air a few feet with her magic and aimed it at the drone's neck area. The changeling got very petrified and he tried to struggle free but, the Queen's grasp was too strong. Chrysalis wasted no time and stuck the needle area of the syringe into the changeling. After that, she pushed the plunger flange down and injected the red substance into the changeling, and the changeling began to scream in affliction and fear. The changeling drones in the throne room got drastically petrified of the sight as well as the guards. Then seconds later, Chrysalis pulled the syringe out of the changeling's neck and a small blood appeared on it. Then, the changeling fell over and tumbled down the stairs. Once he got to the ground, he started to shake violently as if he is having a seizure. One of the changeling drone's walked up to him and tried to touch him with his hoof. But suddenly, sharp claws have formed on his right hoof as well as a long red coloured leg which broke his armour. And that made the changeling scurry away back into the crowd. The changeling's eyes turned into a blood red colour which is almost as similar to King Sombra's glowing green eyes. Then, more sharp claws have formed on his left hoof as well as a long red leg. After that, long red legs appeared out of the back hooves with claws included. His spines were seen appearing out of his back. Then, the changeling slammed both his front legs on the ground and scratched it which left some claw marks on the dirt, and many drones saw that he was now a bit taller than all of them. After that, the changeling pushed himself up from the dirt and lots of sharp teeth were formed in his mouth. And finally, a long tongue covered in saliva appeared out of his mouth, and that made some of the female drones sick. When Queen Chrysalis saw her transformed changeling, she smirked dastardly again. "Yes! It worked!" Chrysalis exclaimed with a vile smile. Then, she flew off her throne and scrutinized her transformed changeling. Once she flew close to it, she landed on the ground near him, but he wasn't attacking. After observing the drone for fifteen seconds, Chrysalis let out a wicked smile. "Just you wait King Thorax and Queen Twilight Sparkle, once I have turned all of my changeling drones into monsters, I will become very powerful and nopony will stop me!" Chrysalis exclaimed dastardly "Mwahahahaha!" Everfree forest "Ugh... what happened?" Spectre moaned as he slowly opened his eyes, but his visions were very blurry behind his goggle mask. Once his sights have returned to normal, Spectre noticed that he is currently looking up at a rock. "What the?" Spectre then slowly turned his head to his right and saw many rocks and grass around him as well as a large hole in front of him. He must assume that he is in a cave. "Am I in a cave?" Spectre asked as he looked around again. After five seconds, he realized that he is indeed in a cave while lying down on the soft grass. Spectre remembered that his left arm was still wounded, he then turned his head to his left to check his wound. But, to his great surprise, a long white bandage was wrapped around his arm. "Well this is strange." Spectre said to himself with a nonplus expression "Did someone bandage me?" He asked in perplexity. He then looked down on his chest to see if he is wounded on there as well. But once he checked, he noticed that his guns were gone again. But, his knife, C-4'S and first aid spray was still with him. "What the?! Where are my guns?!" Spectre exclaimed as he started to look everywhere. When he looked down in front of him at his right, he noticed that his assault rifle, samurai edge pistol, and grenades were piled up on the ground near the cave entrance. "Thank goodness." Spectre said with a relieved sigh. After that, he attempted to push himself back up and walk to grab his weapons. But then, some footsteps noises ceased him from doing that. "Someone's coming." Spectre thought, "I should lay back down and wait, then I will grab my attacker and interrogate him." He said to himself in his mind. After that, he lied back on the ground pretending to be unconscious. Spectre could hear some tiny footsteps noises entering the cave and walking directly towards him, he awaited for whoever was walking towards him get to him first so that he can surprise attack him. Once the footsteps got closer and closer, Spectre felt a small tap on his left arm. Then, he sat up straight in a hasty way and grabbed his attacker. "Ga!" Spectre looked down at his arm and saw that he is currently holding a small purple coloured pony. "Who are you?" Spectre demanded an answer. "M-my n-name is Alistair Sparkle! I was the one who brought you here!" Alistair managed to talk while being choked. When Spectre heard this, he immediately released his grasp from the young pony and he fell on the ground gasping for air. Spectre noticed that this pony is completely different compared to the others in the town, the ponies there were tall and colourful but this one on the other hand is shorter, he has purple buggy looking eyes, he is dark purple coloured, he has shelled wings and a unicorn horn on his forehead. "You were the one who pulled me here?" Spectre asked with a disoriented expression. Alistair placed his right hoof softly on his neck while breathing. After ten seconds, he looked up at the creature. "Yes, I was." Alistair replied with a nod "I was walking back home from the playground, during that time I found you lying on the ground bleeding from your left arm. I then took you into a cave and healed you with some herbs I got as well as bandaging your wound to prevent excessive bleeding." He told him the full story. Spectre was truly astonished by his statement. "Why, thank you for helping me." Spectre said with a grateful expression behind his mask. "You are very welcome." Alistair said with a smile "Oh and yes, your stuffs are over there, and they were quite hefty." He told him as he pointed at his equipments. "Thank you." Then, Spectre walked past the short pony and to his weapons. Once he got to them, he first picked up his samurai edge pistol and holstered it into his belt. Then, he stuck the grenades in his belt. And finally, he picked up his assault rifle and placed it on his back. "Alright, back in action." Spectre then turned around and looked down and saw the pony looking up at him. "Nice to meet you creature my name is Alistair." He introduced himself with a smile, he also raised his right hoof up so that he can shake one of his large hands. When Spectre noticed the pony introducing himself to him, he bent down and introduced himself. "Nice to meet you Alistair, my name is Spectre." Spectre introduced himself as he shook his hoof with two of his fingers. "Spectre? That's an odd name." Alistair said with a perplexed expression "But whatever, I'm glad to see you all healed up!" He exclaimed with a wide smile. "Thank you." Spectre said in a grateful tone "Well anyways, I have to go." He told him. Then, he stood up and turned around and attempted to leave the cave. But then, the calling of the young pony stopped him. "Spectre wait!" Alistair called him. Spectre turned around and asked "Yes?" "Do you think that you can come with me to my home?" He asked in a polite tone. "Why?" "Because, you are an unknown creature, and as a duty of a Prince, it is my responsibility to confront any unknown beings and question them kindly." He told him. When Spectre noticed the young pony saying that he is a Prince, his eyes widened in surprise. "He's a Prince?" Spectre thought with a nonplus expression "If he is a Prince then that means his parents must be King and Queen." He said in his mind. Then, he pushed that aside and replied. "Apologies your majesty but, I'm going to have to reject that, I have things to do." Spectre told him. He is going to turn and leave again but, the Prince called him again. "Please." Alistair pleaded "Its just going to be a few inquiries." He told him. When Spectre heard this, he began to ponder. Going with him to his home would waste a lot of time on him trying to get out of here and return home. But, he might need a place to stay to get some stress and anxiety out of his mind. "Alright, I'll go with you." Spectre said indignantly. "Yay!" Alistair exclaimed contentedly "Perfect! My home is not far from here." He told him. "Okay, then lead the way your majesty." "I will, and please just call me Alistair, I get a bit humiliated sometimes when my friends, aunts, uncle, grandparents and subjects call me majesty." He told him. "Okay then, lead the way Alistair." "Okay, follow me." Alistair said as he walked past Spectre and to the exit of the cave, and Spectre followed him from behind. Once they were put of the cave, Alistair looked up at Spectre and said "This way Spectre." "Alright." Then, Alistair turned to his left and started to walk back to his home with Spectre following him from behind. Author's Note The sixth chapter of my story has been accomplished! Either than that, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter! //-------------------------------------------------------// The Changeling Kingdom //-------------------------------------------------------// The Changeling Kingdom Everfree forest 1:54pm In the Everfree forest, Alistair Sparkle was seen guiding Spectre to his home known as the Changeling Kingdom. They have been walking for fifteen minutes now and Spectre was getting a bit impatient. "How many more steps?" Spectre asked in a slight aggravated tone. The accent of Spectre's voice has sent some chills down to Alistair's spine, but he shook the agitation away from his head and replied to Spectre's inquiry. "We're almost there mister Spectre." He replied simply "Just a few more steps." He told him. "Great, and please just call me Spectre." He told him "Mister makes me feel kind of vexed." He added. "Sure." Alistair acknowledged with a nod. After walking for fifteen more seconds, Alistair has led Spectre next to a hill. "Just past this small hill Spectre." Alistair told him as he walked past the hill with Spectre following him up from behind. Once they have walked past the small hill with trees on them, Spectre saw something incredibly unique, in front of him is a tall beehive looking structure which is almost the size of an apartment. It is blue coloured and has green leaves on it. "Welcome to my home." Alistair said. "Wow, that sure is one tall home you have here." Spectre said in astonishment of the hive in front of him. "Indeed it is." Alistair said with a chuckle "Now, why don't we go in?" He asked him. Spectre was a little bit uncertain when he heard this. "Um Alistair, do you think that there is another route to take?" He asked him. "Why's that?" Alistair asked raising his eyebrow in confusion. "Its just that, don't you think the residents in there would panic if they see me?" He asked him "They would also resort in attacking me which would not be delightful." He added in a logical sense. Alistair's eyes widened when he heard Spectre's reply, he is correct when he said that his subject might panic when they see him, and his guards would resort into trying to attack him too because, he would be an intimidating creature to them. "Your statement is veracious." Alistair said, then he tapped on his chin with his right hoof and began to think on how he can sneak Spectre into his home without him being spotted. After pondering the hypothetical situation for a brief moment, a plan has popped into Alistair's head. "I've got an idea Spectre." Alistair told him. "Really?" Spectre asked, and Alistair replied with a nod "Then shoot, I'm all ears." He told him. "I'm gonna do this." Once Alistair has said that, he charged his horn and Spectre noticed that his horn has a white circle which is expanding its size. "Wh-what are you doing?" Alistair didn't even reply to his inquiry, instead he focused on his magic by charging his horn again. Spectre then noticed that the white ball has expanded into a medium size, and that caught him off guard completely because, that only took five seconds. After that, Alistair then spin his head around and fired the white ball directly towards Spectre. When Spectre noticed this, he let out a yelp and shielded himself with his arms awaiting for the impact. But, to his great surprise nothing happened. "Spectre it's okay, I'm done." Alistair told him. "Wh-wha?" Spectre asked as he slowly removed his arms from his goggle mask. "I said it's over." Alistair told him, "Try looking down at yourself." He told him again. Spectre was a bit perplexed when he heard that, but he pushed the confusion out of his head and looked down. And when he did, he noticed that his whole body disappeared. "What the?" Spectre exclaimed "What did you do to my body!?" He yelled demanding an answer. "Whoa! Okay chill out Spectre, there's no need to be scandalized, I just casted an invisibility spell on you." Alistair told him. "In-invisibility spell?" Spectre asked in a bewildered tone. "Yep." Alistair said with a nod "It is a practical spell that I have learnt from my mother and aunt Celestia, the invisibility spell will keep you invisible for five minutes, you can't see yourself, but you can still feel yourself. So, there's no need to be petrified." He told him in an assuring tone. Spectre was both very interested and flabbergasted by Alistair's statement, he didn't know that he can cast magic, it sure is very distinctive compared to any bioweapons he fought. "Alright so here's the deal Spectre, you are going to follow me into my home and to my room so that you can stay and hide there." "Sounds like a plan." "Great!" Alistair said with a smile "Alright, let's commence the plan." He said as he walked towards the front gates of the Changeling Kingdom with Spectre following him from behind. At the front gates of the Changeling Kingdom, two male changeling guards were seen on duty as usual. Everything was going smoothly and that is until some hoofsteps was heard in front of them. Both guards averted their eyes in front of them and saw Prince Alistair running up towards them. And once he got to them, they both immediately bowed their heads. "Prince Alistair!" "Don't need to everytime." Alistair told them with a chuckle, and the guards both raised their heads up and chuckled back. "Welcome back." The guards said as they pushed the gates open and stepping aside allowing passage for him. "Thank you." Then, Alistair walked through the gates with the invisible Spectre following him from behind, and it is a good thing that Spectre did not make some noises as he is walking on the grass. After that, Alistair walked up to the front doors of his home and Spectre was astonished by the height of the two doors. Once they got to it, two changelings guards one male and the other female pushed the door open for him allowing passage. "Thank you." Alistair said with grateful smile. "Your welcome your majesty." The two guards said with a bow. Then, Alistair entered the Kingdom with the invisible Spectre behind him. Once they were in, Spectre looked around the place and saw that it was extremely huge, the Kingdom has blue coloured walls, chandeliers made of diamonds were attached on the roof, green and purple carpets were on the floor and many more. There were also a crowd of changelings in front of him. "Wow, this place is humongous." Spectre thought. "Psst Spectre." Alistair called him. When Spectre heard Alistair calling him, he looked down and asked "Yes?" "We're going to go up to the fourth floor, thats where my room is, and be cautious, many of my changeling subjects are doing their normal things here." He whispered to him. "Got it." Spectre said with a nod. "Good." After that, Alistair started to guide Spectre to the stairs of his Kingdom which was halfway on the ground floor. And while walking, many changeling drones started to bow and wave joyfully at the changeling Prince. Alistair simply gave them a wave as well as a smile. "Hello Prince Alistair!" Yelled a happy male drone. "You are so cute." A female drone said with a cute expression. "Thank you my subjects, all of you are my greatest friends." Alistair said with a warm smile. Spectre was truly astonished by the comments Alistair is receiving. "Wow, he sure is popular even though he is a Prince." Spectre thought with a nonplus expression. After walking through the busy crowd for twenty seconds, Alistair and Spectre has arrived at the stairwell of the Kingdom. "Follow me." Alistair whispered. Then, Alistair began to run up the stairs with Spectre climbing up slowly from behind. And Alistair was guiding him to the fourth floor. After walking on the stairs for fifteen seconds, Alistair and Spectre have arrived on the fourth floor of the changeling kingdom. "Just a few more steps Spectre." "Okay." Then, Alistair started to guide Spectre to his bedroom which was near his and his parents throne room. After walking for ten seconds, Alistair has arrived to his bedroom. He was about to push the door opened but suddenly, somepony called him. "Prince Alistair." When Alistair heard the voice, he turned to his right and saw a female servant who is carrying a bowl of red coloured grapes on a tray. "Good afternoon." Alistair greeted with a smile "I suspect that this is mine?" He assumed. "Indeed it is your majesty!" The changeling replied with an exuberant expression "I thought that you might be hungry after your time in the playground. " She said. "Why thank you, it's just what I needed." Alistair said as he grabbed The bowl of grapes with his magic. "Your welcome." The changeling said with a wide smile. After that, she turned around and rushed back into the kitchen. "Well that was awkward." Spectre said to himself quietly. "I was going to like cook for myself and the hive today before the royal meeting in Canterlot tomorrow, but hey, the servant gave me this so, it's alright." He said with a shrug "Maybe I can cook for the hive next time." He told himself. Then, Alistair pushed the thought out of his head and turned to face his bedroom door. He placed two of his hooves on it and pushed it open. After that, he stepped in. And Spectre stepped in after him. Spectre then observed his surroundings and saw that Alistair's bedroom was quite large. There was a large white coloured bed with a folded green blanket on the right end side of it, there were purple and blue coloured pillows at the front as well as a roof on top. The room also had two doors in front of him on the right as well as on his left, two cupboards, a glass door that leads to a balcony, a chandelier on the roof, as well as one large studying desk with a green coloured chair. And a large bookshelf with lots of books was near the desk. "Wow, now this is one fancy bedroom he's got." Spectre said with a flabbergasted expression behind his goggle mask "This bedroom is way better than mines at home." He added. Then, Alistair turned around and charged his horn again. After five seconds, Alistair lifted the invisibility spell off of Spectre and he became visible again. "Thanks." Spectre said in a grateful tone, he is happy to see himself again. "Your welcome." Alistair said "And welcome to my room." He told him with a smile. Author's Note Another chapter has been finished! I hope you all enjoyed it! This one took me a bit of time to ponder about. //-------------------------------------------------------// Ponyville raid //-------------------------------------------------------// Ponyville raid In Prince Alistair's bedroom, Alistair was seen gently placing his grandmother on his bed with the help of Spectre. He pulled his blanket on her, as well as placing a glass of water and the bowl of grapes on a small table stool. Spectre on the other hand is looking at the tall glass cupboard of Alistair's which has caught his attention completely. Inside the glass cupboard were gold trophies as well as award papers from school. "Wow, this kid sure is smart." Spectre thought with a nonplus expression. He then walked to the black coloured studying desk next to him and began to scrutinize what the kid has. And once he got there, he saw a pencil rack with lots of pencils on the left side of the table, and a lamp on the right side. Spectre then looked at the middle and saw a picture frame at the middle end of the studying table. "Huh? What is this?" Spectre asked as he picked up the picture frame with his right hand. Once it was in his hand, he flipped it over and saw what seems to be like a family photo. In the photo was baby Alistair wrapped in a blue cloth while being held by a female purple coloured unicorn with wings, there was also a green bug with orange deer horns next to the purple unicorn with wings. Spectre must assume that those were Alistair's parents. "Wait so if Alistair's a Prince, does that mean his parents are King and Queen?" Spectre asked himself with a bewildered expression behind his goggle mask. But, he pushed the thought out of his head and placed the picture frame back on where it was. Then, he turned around and looked at Alistair who has finished tucking his grandmother onto his bed. "There you go grandmommy, I hope you feel better soon." Alistair said as he nuzzled his grandmother on the forehead softly. After five seconds, he hovered to the floor and looked at Spectre. "Everything has been solved Spectre." Alistair told him. "Nice." Spectre said with a smile "And sorry for scaring your grandmother." He told him. "Its okay." Alistair said with a smile "My grandmother sometimes gets spooked easily just like my grandfather." He told him with a chuckle. And Spectre managed to chuckle back. Alistair was going to change the subject and say something to Spectre but suddenly, a loud noise was heard. "What the?!" Alistair said in a startled tone. He turned to the balcony door and looked through the window and saw a thick black smoke streaming up in the air. And the black smoke is coming from Ponyville "Ponyville!" Alistair exclaimed as he ran to the balcony doors. Once he got to it, he pushed the doors open and looked at the smoke in the distance. While looking, he heard some screaming noises as well from there. "Oh no, my subjects!" Alistair exclaimed with anxiety. Spectre trotted to the balcony and stood next to Alistair. Then, he looked forward and saw the thick black smoke that Alistair spotted. It was indeed coming from Ponyville where he fought those guards. Alistair wasted no time, he needed to save his subjects from whatever hazards they are in. "I've got to save my subjects!" Alistair exclaimed as he jumped off the balcony, he then spread his wings and glided on the ground smoothly. "Hey wait for me!" Spectre exclaimed, he observed around him to see if there are any soft areas to land. When he looked down at his right, he saw some trees under him. If he grabs one of the branches while falling, he might be able to break his fall just like how he survived in the power room back in Umbrella. "Here goes nothing." Spectre said as he climbed on the railings of the balcony. He then took a deep breath and jumped to the trees. Once he got near the one of the trees, he stretched his right arm forward and gripped onto the branch of the tree, and miraculously, the tree branch managed to support the weight of Spectre as well as the kinetic energy of his fall. Then, Spectre released his grip from the tree branch and landed on the ground. After that, he looked in front of him and saw Alistair rushing towards Ponyville. "Hey kid wait up!" Spectre exclaimed as he ran after him. Back in Alistair's bedroom, the doors were pushed open again by Cadence, the Princess of Love, she has decided to pay her nephew Alistair a visit as well as asking him for some equipments to cheer her husband up. "Alistair." Cadence called. But to her immediate surprise, she didn't get a response, she looked around her and saw that Alistair was nowhere to be seen. And something was oddly suspicious about his room as well, his balcony and playroom doors were opened for some reason. When she looked in front of her, she saw Twilight Velvet sleeping on Alistair's bed, and the sight perplexed her. "Huh? What is Velvet doing on Alistair's bed?" Cadence asked with a perplexed expression. She then walked up towards the bed and gently moved Velvet trying to wake her up. "Hey Velvet, wake up." Velvet moaned from the shaking as well as the intimate voice. She then slowly sat up straight and rubbed her eyes. "Velvet, what are you doing here?" Cadence asked in a perplexed tone. Velvet looked to the source of the voice and saw Cadence standing on her right. "Wh-where am I? "In Alistair's bedroom." Cadence replied simply. "Can you tell me what happened?" She asked. Velvet then rubbed her head with her right hoof to see if anything pops up in her head. After five seconds, Velvet remembered something. "I remember myself paying my grandson a visit while his parents are gone." Velvet replied. "Okay, then what happened?" "Then, I entered his playroom and saw something very unique, I saw him sitting with a black coloured creature." She replied. Cadence's eyes widened in interest and shock when she heard Velvet's reply. She was about to ask her about the black coloured creature she is saying about but suddenly, a loud banging noise was heard which made Velvet and Cadence jump. "Whoa! What is Equestria was that?!" Velvet exclaimed with a startled expression. Cadence ran to Alistair's opened balcony doors and stepped onto the balcony. She then looked in front of her and saw a thick black smoke coming from Ponyville. "Oh my! Ponyville!" Cadence exclaimed with a traumatized expression, it was all very peaceful when she walked to the changeling Kingdom after seeing her husband in the hospital. Cadence then looked back at Velvet and said "I have to go Velvet, Ponyville is in danger." "Okay." After that, Cadence spread her wings and jumped off of the balcony. Then, she flew towards Ponyville. Alistair and Spectre have both arrived at the top hills of Ponyville, and when they did, it was all screams and sounds of running. Alistair looked in front of him and saw something very scary. "Oh my, what is that?" Alistair said with a petrified expression. When Spectre noticed the frightened expression on Alistair's face. He looked to where he was looking and saw some red coloured creatures in front of him, he then zoomed in the area and saw what looks to be like bugs with a body structure of a licker. "What the? Those things don't look like lickers to me." Spectre thought with a disoriented expression. But, he pushed the confusion out of his head and a smirk appeared behind his goggle mask "Ah whatever, I've dealt with bioweapons before with my team. This will be like a stroll in a park." "I have to save my subjects!" Alistair exclaimed with a perturbed expression. He was about to run in Ponyville but he was stopped when Spectre placed his boot in front of him, he then looked up at him with a perplexed expression. "What is it Spectre?" Alistair asked in a hurried tone because, he needs to save his subjects. "Go find a place to hide here." Spectre told him sternly "I'll deal with this." He finished. "No." Alistair objected with a shake of his head "They are my subjects, and it is my responsibility to protect their lives." He told him. "I'll tell you this one more time, go and hide in a bush." Spectre ordered sternly "I know how to deal with them, I've seen monsters similar to these." He told him. When Alistair heard the seriousness in Spectre's voice, he bregrudingly sighed and looked up at Spectre with a defeated expression. "Alright, I'll hide." "Good." Spectre said with a satisfied nod "Go and conceal yourself in that large bush over there." He told him as he pointed at the bush. Alistair nodded and ran to the bush to hide. Once Spectre has finished that, he pulled out his assault rifle from his back and prepared for enemy engagement as well as some close quarter combat. He pulled the charging handle of his assault rifle back and rushed towards Ponyville in a hasty speed. "This is gonna be one heck of a day." Spectre said in a confident tone "And I'm happy that there will be some action as well." He added with a chuckle. Author's Note Another chapter finally accomplished! Some royal guards tried to fight but, they have been maimed by the creatures sharp claws and were forced to find shelter like what the rest of the ponies are doing. The transformed changelings observed the area once more to see if any other ponies were hiding out in the open, when one of them stuck their tongue out to the right, it sensed something. The evolved changeling looked to it's right and saw a ponies mane sticking out of a barrel. The changeling then let out a roar and charged towards the barrel. Once he got to it, he swung his right claw back and slashed the barrel, and the force of the slash broke the barrel into pieces. Then, the changeling saw a mare covering herself with her hooves in fear. The mare slowly removed her hooves from her face after the unanticipated impact, and to her immediate surprise, she saw the scary monster in front of her. Then, the monster screeched at her face. "BREEEECCCCC!!!" "Ahhh!" Screamed the mare, she tried to stand up and run away, but suddenly, the changeling stopped her by placing his claw on her mane. The mare tried to struggle free but, it was no use, the monster's tenacious grip has held her in place. The changeling then opened its jaws and prepared to devour the mare. When the mare noticed this, she shut her eyes tightly and awaited to be eaten. "Take this!" "BREEC!" The monster screeched in pain. The mare was truly surprised when somepony got the monster off of her, she looked at who her saviour was, and when she did, she noticed that she wasn't starring at a pony. In front of her was a tall black coloured figure with a metal object in its right hand. The evolved changeling slowly stood back up on his claws and growled at Spectre. When the mare noticed this, she decided to not stay and watch the action, instead, she stood up on her hooves and ran to a place to hide. Spectre was expecting the bioweapons to lunge at him and attempt to slash him with its petrifying claws. But instead, he saw it screeching in the air, and the sight perplexed him. "What is it doing?" Spectre asked in a perplexed tone, he has never seen any bioweapons behaving this way. Eventually, Spectre got his answer when two more bioweapons that are as interchangeable as the one in front of him appeared next to him. But, he wasn't fazed. "Pfft, typical." Spectre scoffed "You all want to fight? Then you got yourselves one." He told them. The three changelings roared viciously and charged towards Spectre in a hasty speed. Once they got near him, they all jumped in the air at the same time with their claws swung back attempting to slash him in the face. Spectre responded by turning his body and delivering a reverse turning kick at their faces one at a time. And when his kick made contact with them, the changelings were sent flying in different directions. After sailing in the air for a brief moment, they all crashed onto the ground. "Heh, how incompetent and weak." Spectre insulted. One of the evolved changelings got very infuriated when he heard the insult from the creature. It kicked itself back up and roared at it. Then, it charged towards Spectre wanting to get its revenge. When Spectre noticed this, he simply aimed his assault rifle forward and fired at the changeling. *BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!* The changeling screeched in agony when the bullets collided in its head. The forced of the bullets pushed it backwards and the changeling fell on the ground killed. "One down two more to go." Spectre said. He then turned to his right and faced the next bioweapon, and this one has just stood up from Spectre's previous attack. Then, the bioweapon let out a roar and charged towards Spectre. And the same, Spectre simply aimed his assault rifle at it and fired another five shots at its face. *BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!* The impact from the bullets knocked the changeling back and it fell on the ground. After letting out a low screech, it was killed. "Alright." Spectre said with a proud expression behind his mask "Now where is the last one?" He asked as he began to observed the place again. On cue, Spectre got his answer when he heard the bioweapon roaring from his right side. He turned to his right and saw it trying to slash him. "Whoa!" Spectre exclaimed as he jumped out of the way. And the changeling was sent skidding on the dirt, leaving some long claw marks in the process. The changeling turned himself in the right direction and roared at Spectre again. Then, the changeling scratched the ground once more and lunged towards Spectre with its claws pointing straight at its face. Spectre responded by swinging his arms to the left and smacking the changeling in the face with his rifle. The impact was so strong that it left a bruise on the changeling's side. Then, it fell on the ground roughly with a thud. The changeling stood up again and roared viciously at Spectre. It attempted to charge forward again but, before it could even move an inch forward, it's prey threw a sharp blade at it's face. The knife was stabbed directly through the changeling's face once it made contact with him. After that, the changeling fell on the ground dead bleeding from its head. "Ha! Well that was easy!" Spectre exclaimed with a chuckle. After the intense battle, Spectre stuck his assault rifle back on his back and walked towards the bioweapon he killed to retrieve his knife. Once he got to it, he bent down and pulled the knife out of the bioweapon's face. After that, he sheathed his blood stained knife back in his holder. "What type of licker is that?" Spectre asked with a bewildered expression, he has never seen a licker like that before "Ah well, no time to scrutinize it. I need to go back to Alistair, the kid must be waiting for me." He told himself. But, before he could turn around, his goggle mask detected something behind him. "Huh?" Spectre said as he turned around. But suddenly, he was met with a blast to his chest. "Ooof!" Spectre grunted in pain. The force of the blast made him sail in the air for a brief moment and falling on the ground on his back dropping his assault rifle in the process, but his vest managed to protect him. Spectre groaned and tried to get up. But when he looked up, he saw a large figure attempting to stomp on him. He immediately countered it by kicking the figure, and the force of his kick made the figure grunt and fall backwards. Then, Spectre kicked himself back up. Spectre looked at his attacker and saw that it was another pony. But this one was a bit taller than an average pony he saw since the time he arrived. But it is not as tall as him. It is pink colour, it has a diamond on it's flank, it has a golden collar on it's chest, and it's hair was yellow, pink and purple coloured. "Who are you creature? And what are you doing here?" The pony demanded an answer. Spectre decided not to tell her anything. "I will not disclose anything to you." He told her. "You will give me an answer, I am the Princess of the Crystal Empire!" She exclaimed. "Do you know what I have to say to you your majesty?" Spectre asked, and the pink pony shook her head in confusion "Flock off, and sit back on your worthless throne little girl." He insulted sarcastically. When Cadence heard the insult, she got infuriated immensely. She grit her teeth in anger gave the creature a comment. "HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO ME IN AN IMPERTINENT MANNER?!" Cadence exclaimed with a vexed expression "ME PRINCESS MI AMORE CANDENZA WILL TEACH YOU A LESSON!!!" She finished, then she spread her wings and charged her horn. When Spectre noticed this, he got into a fighting stance and prepared to engage in close combat with the pony. "This will be entertaining." Spectre said with a quiet chuckle. Cadence was seen charging her horn preparing to blast the creature once more. When Spectre noticed this, he looked at his assault rifle on the right then back at the pink pony. After five seconds, Spectre decided to make a bold charge to retrieve his assault rifle back. Cadence looked to where the creature was running to, and when she did, she noticed that it was running to it's metal thing trying to retrieve it. "Oh no you don't." Cadence said as she fired a blast at the creature's thing. Spectre was closing in on his gun, but before he could grab it, a pink blast hit it and sent it flying across the town and stopping next to a fence. Then, Spectre looked at the pink pony again with an indignant expression. "Words ain't gonna work with this pink freak." Spectre grumbled in an angry tone "Guess I'll have to take her down the old fashioned way." He told himself in a cold tone that almost matched Vector's. After the magical blast, Cadence stomped her hooves on the ground and glared at the creature. After a brief second, Cadence charged towards Spectre. When Spectre noticed this, he awaited for her to come closer to him. Once she did, Spectre immediately low sweeped the ponies front two hooves. "Gaaaah!" Cadence yelled with a surprised expression. Then, she fell face first on the dirt. Spectre then stood back up on his feet and walked to the pink pony. Once he got to her, the pony tried to get up, but Spectre wasn't going to let her. Instead, he drew his right leg back and kicked the pony in the torso. Cadence grunted from the impact of the kick, she was sent flying a few feet away and falling face first onto the dirt again. Cadence then placed her hooves back on the ground an pushed herself back up again. Then, she sent the creature a glare. "Why you! Your going to pay for that!" Cadence exclaimed with an infuriated expression. "Bring it on then." Cadence took the insult and spread her wings. Then, she flew directly towards the creature, and Spectre got caught off guard by the ponies speed. Once Cadence closed her distance with the creature, she wrapped her hooves around its waist and positioned her head beside it, then she began to push it to a house. Spectre was trying his best to get the pony off of him, he raised his right arm up and elbowed the pony on her back. But, the force of the push weaken his attack, and he was sent crashing into a wall of a house. Once Cadence has succeeded in pushing the creature into a wall, she pulled her head back and charged her horn attempting the blast the creature again. When Spectre noticed the attack, he head butted pony in the face. Cadence grunted from the unexpected attack and was dazed. Then, Spectre round house punched the pony on the cheek. After that, he stepped to his left, placed his left hand at the back of the ponies head and smashed her face first against the wall hard. "Auuggh!" Cadence grunted in pain. She was dazed from the attack, and it gave her a bloody face as well as a bleeding muzzle. When Spectre noticed this, he decided to do one of his best moves, he bent down, placed both his gloved hands under the ponies torso and lifted her up. After that, he spun the pony and himself around in two circles and finally throwing the pony halfway across town. Cadence flew up in the air for a brief moment, then she crashed landed on two wooden barrels, shattering them into pieces in the process. Spectre then smirked in satisfaction after the attack, he then walked up towards the pony. After five seconds, he stood up ten centimeters from it and looked down at her. "Had enough?" Cadence wasn't going to accept defeat that simply, she placed her hooves on the ground again and looked up at the creature. She managed to stand back up on her hooves but, she staggered a little from the injury, but she can still stand. Then, she glared at the creature with a bloody face, mumbled something and spat a teeth out of her mouth. "Hehe, that's what you get." Spectre insulted. "We'll see about that." Cadence growled in a daunting tone. Then, she charged her horn again and fired another blast directly towards Spectre. When Spectre noticed this, he ducked and avoided the attack. Then, Cadence saw her perfect opportunity to retaliate against her opponent. She spread her wings and flew towards the creature as fast as she could. "Yaaaaaaa!" Cadence screamed. But unfortunately, it turned out to be a futile attempt because, the creature reacted quicker and countered her attack by grabbing her wings. The creature then lied on the ground on his back and placed his right foot on her torso. And finally, the creature pushed it's foot up and threw Cadence to the house again. Cadence was sent flying up a brief moment. After five seconds, she was sent crashing onto a table, and the impact broke the table as well a chair in the process. Cadence moaned in pain from her failed attack. She tried to stand up and fight again but, her injuries got the better of her, and she was knocked out. Spectre has claimed victory. "Ha! Well that was easy!" Spectre exclaimed in a cold tone "That's what she gets for challenging me in a fight, no one messes with Umbrella's Agents." He said dastardly. He was going to walk to his assault rifle and retrieve it again but suddenly, a voice stopped him. "Spectre! What did you do?!" When Spectre heard the intimate voice, he turned to his right and saw Alistair standing there with a scandalized expression. "Alistair, I thought I told you to hide." Spectre said. "Why did you hurt my aunt?" Alistair asked sadly as tears were about to form in his eyes. Spectre was truly traumatized when he heard that the pony he fought with was his aunt, he didn't know that he had a relative. He then tried to reason with him. "L-look Alistair, your aunt started it!" Spectre told him "I had no other choice but to-" Spectre wasn't able to finish his sentence when six beams collided in his chest again. "Ahhh!" Spectre screamed in agony. He was sent sailing up in the air for a brief moment then coming down on the ground roughly. He tried to get up, but, the blasts were too strong, and he lost his consciousness. Alistair then looked at where the magic blast came from, and when he did, he saw his aunt Cadence standing up and walking past the fence of the house. Alistair was shocked when he saw her condition, her whole face was covered in blood, her torso had contusions, and her front two hooves were bleeding. "Nopony defeats the Princess of Love and gets away with it!" Cadence exclaimed with an infuriated expression, once she got ten centimters between herself and the knocked out creature, she charged her horn again and prepared to fire another blast at it. But suddenly, she was stopped when her nephew stood up in front of her. "Alistair?" Cadence said with a perplexed expression, but then, she changed the subject "Get out of my way! I need to teach this creature a lesson for injuring one of the rulers of Equestria!" She demanded. "No you can't do this!" Alistair objected. "Why not?!" Cadence exclaimed with an incredulous expression "Didn't you see it getting your aunt injured?!" She asked with an infuriated expression. "I know but, before he maimed you, he saved the ponies lives here." Alistair told her. Cadence was caught off guard by her newphew's statement. She deactivated her horn and began to ask him what had happened. "What happened?" "While you weren't here, the creature and I ran to Ponyville after seeing a long stream of black smoke from Ponyville. And when we arrived, we saw that many ponies were being attacked by those things." Alistair delineated as he pointed at the evolved changelings. Cadence looked at the disgusting evolved changelings for a moment then back to her nephew. "Those things attacked Ponyville?" Cadence asked. "Yes." Alistair replied with a nod "I tried to help my subjects but, the creature told me to hide and wait for him until he finishes with the monsters. And that was how you got into a fight with him." He stated. Cadence was both intrigued and shocked by Alistair's statement of the revelations he disclosed. The creature was saving the ponies, not trying to hurt them. But, Cadence still had an angry expression. "Even if that is true, we can't let him roam around in Equestria without getting answers from it." Cadence told him. Alistair started to ponder for a bit. After a brief second, he sighed and looked up at his aunt with a defeated expression. "I guess your right auntie, we need to interrogate him." Alistair said. "Exactly." Cadence said with a nod as well as a smile towards her nephew "Now, I will send a letter to the hospital to inform your parents and aunts as well as Princess Celestia and Luna. While I need you to drag the creature back to your home, I will call in some changeling guards while you are on the way back home so that they can assist you. Understood?" She asked. "Yes aunt Cadence." "Good!" Cadence said with a proud smile "Alright, now let's commence it." She said. After that, Cadence pulled out three sheets of paper as well as a quilt and started to write some letters to the hospital, Canterlot as well as the changeling kingdom. While she was doing that, Alistair walked up towards Spectre with a sorrowful expression. "Sorry Spec, but I need to bring you back to my home so that you can be interrogated by my parents and aunts." Alistair said with a sorrowful expression. After that, he activated his horn and began to drag him as well as his dropped assault rifle to his home with his magic. Author's Note Another chapter has been accomplished! Spectre asked in a perplexed tone, he then observed his surroundings and saw that the room he is was made of large stone bricks, there is a small light at the top, a small bed was on his right, one toilet suite on the left as well as the toilet paper roll in a toilet paper hanger. "This must be a prison." Spectre said in a surprised tone, he then placed his left hand on the side of his goggle mask to scan the area, but when he tapped on it, his goggles were in the process of recharging after the battle "How tremendous." Spectre scoffed in irritation. He looked down on him and saw that all of his weapons were snatched away, he then let out an exasperated sigh. "Well, I guess I'll have to bust myself out the old fashioned way." But before Spectre could get his back off the wall as well as getting back on his feet, a voice from outside stopped him. "Its awake your majesty." Said a male voice. "Good, now leave everything to me." Said an intimate female voice. After a brief second, his cell door was pulled open and Spectre saw a shadowy figure standing in front of him. Then, the figure stepped forward and walked towards him. When the figure stopped near the light bulb on top, Spectre realized that it was the pony he had fought, and it looked very wounded. The pony has a bandage on her muzzle, her torso was wrapped around in bandages, there was a gash next to her right eye, and she had gashes on her front hooves. "The wonderful nostalgia." Spectre thought with a mocking expression behind his mask. "Remember me creature?" "Yes I do." Spectre replied with a nod, Cadence noticed that his language was accented "Your that loathsome pony I fought in town." He told her in an insulting tone. Cadence was infuriated when she heard the creature's statement, but she managed to remain equanimous. Then, she looked at the creature. "What's your name?" "Spectre." He replied simply. "Spectre?" Cadence asked with a raise of her eyebrow "Do you Spectate things?" She asked him. "Not precisely." Spectre said with a shake of his head from that sarcastic remark "That's just a codename." He corrected her. "A codename?" Cadence asked, and Spectre replied with a nod "Then what is your real name then?" She asked again. "I will not disclose, you can only call me Spectre." He told her in a cold tone. "Do you even know who I am?" Cadence asked, and Spectre kept himself quiet because he didn't even bother to know. When Cadence noticed that the creature was disregarding her, she decided to tell who she is anyways. "I am one of the alicorn rulers in Equestria, my name is Princess Mi Amore Cadenza and I am the Princess of Love." She introduced herself. Spectre was perplexed about the word 'alicorn', he has never heard of an animal like that before in his life, and she certainly doesn't look like a bioweapon created in Umbrella. But, the one thing he found very hysterical was when she said that she is the Princess of Love. "Princess of Love? Ha! I wonder what would happen if someone rejects her love hahaha!" Spectre joked in his head with a playful smile behind his goggle mask. Princess Cadence was going to ask the creature some questions but then, one of the changeling guards behind her called her. "Princess Cadence." The male guard called, and Cadence turned around and faced him "King Thorax and Queen Twilight wants to see the creature now." He told her. "Okay." Cadence said with a nod, she then turned back and faced Spectre "Looks like you will be meeting the King and Queen right now, and I expect that you will show them some respect." She told him sternly, but Spectre disregarded her. Then, Cadence stood up on her hooves, walked out of the creature's cell and told one of the guard's to get him to the throne room, the guard nodded and walked into the cell. Once he got to him, he levitated a metal cuff in front of him and cuffed the creature. "Stand up creature." The changeling guard ordered sternly "You'll be meeting the King, Queen and Prince in the throne room." He told him. Spectre rolled his eyes and stood up from the ground. After that, the guard started to drag him to the throne room with the long chain. While walking, two more changeling guards armed with spears were seen appearing next to Spectre to corroborate that he will make no sudden movements during the escort. Spectre scanned the changelings with his goggle mask to see if any of them were holding anything practical that could break or unlock the cuffs. Those spears would not be a wise decision because, they are too long and it would take him about fifteen seconds to rotate it to its sharp area since his hands are cuffed. When he looked down at the changeling's back, he saw that there was a key attached on his right flank. Spectre must assume that the key was for his cuffs. "Those keys must be for my cuffs." Spectre said in his mind with wide eyes behind his goggle mask "I must wait for the accurate moment for the stealth attack." He told himself in his mind. He then casually followed the two guards to where they were going to send him. After two minutes, the two changeling guards have both lead Spectre out of the dungeons and into the hallway which Spectre was very familiar with. They then stopped by two large green coloured doors. The two guards armed with spears stepped forward and pushed the two doors open and the unarmed changeling guard pulled Spectre into the throne room with the other two following up from behind him. Once they were in the throne room, Spectre observed his surroundings and saw that the place was humongous, it is an open area, there was a green and purple glass frame on the top acting as a roof and had long steel support beams. Spectre looked to his left and saw eight female multicolored ponies standing on his left, the white one with a sun mark on its flank was almost as tall as him, Cadence was also standing next to the dark blue pony while glaring at him. There were also spear wielding changelings in armour. Spectre then looked in front of him and saw purple coloured stairs. He averted his eyes up and saw a green coloured bug with orange deer horns, a purple coloured female pony with a unicorn horn and wings, and Alistair sitting on thrones in front of him. The green bug and the purple pony with a unicorn horn and wings were starring down at him with perplexed expressions, while Alistair was looking down at him with a concerned look. Spectre scrutinized the bug and the pony for a second and noticed that they were the parents of Alistair from what he had seen from the picture frame in Alistair's bedroom. Once the guard has pulled him to the center of the throne room, he turned around and gave the creature an order. "Kneel before the King and the Queen creature!" The guard ordered sternly. But Spectre disregarded him. When the guard noticed that the creature wasn't obeying, he got infuriated. Then, he charged his horn. "Kneel down now or you will be blasted!" The guard exclaimed with an angry expression. "Fat chance." Spectre told him in a cold tone. Then, Spectre drew both his hands back and yanked the guard towards him. The sudden movement caught the guard off guard and he was sent flying towards him while still gripping onto the chain. When Spectre saw the guard flying close to him, he grabbed the changeling by his face with his left hand. After that, he grabbed the keys with his right hand. And finally, he let go of the guard and kicked him in the face, and the force of his kick sent the guard crashing near the stairs with a bleeding muzzle, and the action shocked the mane six, Alistair and the princesses. Spectre then stuck the key in the keyhole of his cuffs and the cuffs fell off of his hands. When the changeling guard on his left noticed this, he pushed his hooves forward attempting to stab the creature in the chest. But, the creature reacted quicker. He grabbed the spear with both his hands and yanked it away from him. After that, Spectre pushed his hands forward and smacked the guard in the face with the back of the spear. And the force of the attack sent the guard crashing into a wall next to the mane six which made them squeal in fear. The changeling guard on his right tried to poke him with his spear. When Spectre noticed the temerarious attempt, he dropped the first guard's spear and grabbed the other guards spear. Then, he yanked it away from him and kneed it breaking it in the process, and the exertion shocked the guard. The guard turned around and tried to run away but, he was met with a low sweep to the hooves, and the low sweep made the changeling fall face first onto the carpet floor with a grunt. Then, all of the changeling guards in the throne room formed a circle around the creature and aimed their spears at them. "Guards stand down." Thorax ordered. The guards were perplexed at first, but they obeyed and lowered their spears. Then, they backed off to the door in case he tries to make a run for it. Spectre then looked up at the tall green bug and the purple pony with a unicorn horn and wings sitting on the thrones. "So I assume that you two are King and Queen here from what I have heard." He introduced himself, then he introduced his wife and son to him. "The alicorn here is my wife Twilight Sparkle." "And the smaller alicorn next to my wife is my son." Twilight was looking down at Spectre with a perplexed expression, she has never seen a creature like that before. As for Alistair, he was starring down at Spectre with a concerned expression because, he doesn't knows what punishment his parents will give him after he maimed two of her aunts. "Can you tell me your name?" "Spectre." He replied simply. Thorax raised an eyebrow in confusion from the odd name, but he pushed it out of his head and began to ask him some inquiries he and his wife has. "Okay mister Spectre, me and my wife have some inquiries that we would like to ask you." Thorax told him, but Spectre disregarded him. "Alright then first question, what kind of creature are you?" Thorax asked. "I'm a human, homo sapiens." He replied. "Care to elaborate?" Thorax asked. "No." Spectre replied with shake of his head. "I will not disclose any classified informations." He told him. "Mister Spectre I am the King here and it is my responsibility to-" "Don't care, now move on to the next question." Spectre demanded sternly, Thorax tried to talk but Spectre cut him off "Next question, or I'll fight my way out of here." He warned him in a cold tone. Thorax was a bit intimidated by the creature's cold warning, he let out a defeated sigh and nodded. "Alright." Thorax sighed "My next question, what were you doing in Ponyville?" He asked. "I saw monsters there." He replied simply. "What kind of monsters?" "Loathsome lickers with black faces." Spectre replied. Thorax was truly bewildered by the word 'Lickers'. Are those some sort of animals that he never knew about. He was going to ask him some inquiries about this creature but before he could, he felt a gentle tap on his hoof. Thorax looked to his left and noticed that his wife was getting his attention. "Yes Twily?" Thorax asked softly. "Thory, do you mind if I ask the creature some questions I have please?" Twilight asked in a polite and soft tone. "Sure, by all means." Thorax said with a smile. "Thank you." Twilight said as she nuzzled her husband affectionately, and Thorax nuzzled back. After a brief moment, Twilight pulled herself away from her husband and looked down at the creature standing before them. "I have some questions that I would like to ask you Spectre." Twilight told him. But, Spectre disregarded her as if he didn't cared. "Okay first question, why did you assaulted my friend Applejack there?" Twilight asked with a serious expression as she pointed at her friend. Spectre looked to where she was pointing at and saw that she is pointing at the orange pony he fought in the Everfree forest hours ago. He then looked back up at her with an emotionless expression behind his goggle mask. "Maybe you should ask the applebutt first." Spectre said in an insulting tone "She was the one who instigated everything." He told her in a cold tone. "Hey!" Applejack exclaimed "Who are ya callin' applebutt?!" She asked as she glared at the creature. "Calm down Applejack." Twilight told her, when Applejack heard that, she exhaled and forced herself to calm down. Then, Twilight looked down at the creature with an angry expression "Now, I do not like any unknown species insulting my friends and family like that. If they do, they will usually get a repercussion. But, this is an interrogation not an assault attempt. So I will move on to the next question." She said. "Fine then." Spectre scoffed. He was getting a bit irked from this grilling, he wished that he could snatch back all of his weapons on the long table on his right. But, it wouldn't be a good idea because, he doesn't wants to maim Alistair as well. So, he decided to endure it a bit more. "Okay, as for my second question, why did you assaulted my sister in law Cadence?" Twilight asked. Spectre looked at the pink alicorn who glared menacingly at him mainly because he wounded her during their battle. After a brief second, he looked back up at the Queen. "Ask her, she instigated everything as well." Spectre told her in a cold tone. "Fine." Twilight said with a roll of her eyes in irritation. Then, she looked at Cadence "Cadence, what had happened?" She asked. "Well Twilight, after I flew out if Alistair's bedroom as well as checking on your mother, I rushed straight towards Ponyville to see what was happening after witnessing the smoke. Once I got there, I saw a creature in the middle of town. I thought he was hostile so I came forward blasted him in the chest and attempted to ask him some inquiries, but he revolted and that's how our fight began." Cadence replied. Twilight was a little bit shocked to hear that it was her sister in law who commenced the entire battle just like what Spectre had said. But, he still didn't had to wound her that severely. "Even if that is true creature, you still didn't have to wound her that badly." Twilight told him in an angry tone. "Whatever, she still attacked me first." Spectre told her in a cold tone. "Now cre-" "Next question." Spectre demanded sternly "I'm getting vexed here." He told her in a hazardous tone. "Fine." Twilight groaned in frustration "Okay, my last question is, how did you sneak into the Changeling Kingdom and into my son's room?" She asked. Alistair's eyes widened in fear when he heard that inquiry, he was the one who brought Spectre into his room for some questioning of his. "Uh oh." Alistair thought with an anxious expression. Spectre froze at that question too because, he couldn't risk exposing how her son snuck him into his home in the first place. Alistair then placed both hooves on his head because, he was desperately trying to keep this a secret, but he couldn't keep lying, he needed to reveal the truth. Then, he looked at his mother. "I was the one who brought him in!" Twilight, Thorax, the mane six, Princess Celestia, Luna, Cadence and the changeling guards all looked up at Alistair with a traumatized and nonplus expression when they heard that. "Alistair, you brought him in?" Twilight asked. "Y-yes." Alistair said nervously. Spectre was completely surprised when he saw Alistair confronting the truth to his parents. "W-why?" Thorax asked. "Well, I was walking back home from Ponyville after seeing my uncle injured by Spectre, and while walking, I saw him lying in the Everfree forest bleeding from his left arm. I then brought him into a cave and performed a medical operation. After that, he woke up fifty minutes later and I persuaded him to go to my home for some questioning. I used an invisibility spell to sneak him into my room." Alistair delineated with a shameful expression. Twilight was truly shocked by that statement, she couldn't believe that her son would keep a secret from her and her father. Then, she decompressed herself by taking a deep breath and exhaling it out. After that, she looked down at her son. "Go to your room Alistair." Twilight told him "I'll have a word with you after the interrogation." She finished. "Yes mommy." Alistair said in a sad tone. After that, Alistair got off his throne, flew down the stairs and to the throne room doors. After that, he pushed the two doors open and walked to his room. Thorax was a bit depressed when he saw what had happened as well as the mane six, the princesses and the changelings. Before he could get his wife's attention, she asked the creature another question. "What did you do to my son after your arrival?" Twilight asked with a serious expression. "Nothing." Spectre replied "He just asked me a few questions and that was it." He told her. Twilight thought that the statement the creature explained was a bit unbelievable, so she decided to cast a memory spell to know what had happened. But before she could do that, she noticed that the whole place has gotten dark. Twilight looked up and saw that it was late at night now. After that, she looked back down. "We'll end the interrogation here." Twilight said with a sigh, then she looked at the guards. "Guards, take him back to the dungeon." She reordered. "Yes my Queen." After that, six changeling guards walked up to Spectre. Once they reached him, one of them cuffed his hands again and began to escort him out of the throne room and into the dungeons. While the guards were doing that, Twilight looked down at her friends and told them to stay in the guest rooms for the night. Her friends nodded and walked to the guest rooms in the Changeling Kingdom. Once they were alone, Thorax looked at his wife with a depressed expression. "Twily, you didn't have to say that to our son." Thorax told her in a soft tone. Twilight sighed and said "I know but, he kept a secret from us." "Yeah he did, but he just wanted to interrogate the creature." He told her "Remember how you kept a secret from your parents when you and I were dating?" He asked her. Twilight froze at that inquiry, she did indeed kept a secret from her parents that she and Thorax were secretly dating each other five years ago. When her parents found out about it, they were very mad at her. She then let out a defeated sigh. "Maybe your right." Twilight sighed "I'll just have a chat with him." She told him. "Good." Throax said with a smile "While you are doing that, I'll be waiting for you in our bedroom because, our son will have a royal meeting with his subjects in Canterlot tomorrow." He told her. "Okay." Then, Thorax and Twilight both shared a tender kiss for a brief second then releasing. After that, the two couples both got off their thrones and exited the throne room. After that, Throax walked to his and his wife's bedroom, and Twilight walked to her son's bedroom. In Alistair's bedroom, Alistair was sitting on his bed while looking down on the floor with a shameful expression. He then heard his room door opening, and when he looked up he saw his mother entering. "Oh hey mommy." Alistair said in a sad tone. "Hello sweetie." Twilight said in a soft tone, she then walked up to his bed. Once she got to it, she sat next to him and pulled him in close for a hug, and Alistair hugged back. "I'm sorry mommy, I shouldn't have lied to you and dad." Alistair said in a shameful tone. "No no no it's okay baby, I'm the one who should apologize to you, you just wanted to help interrogate the creature." "But, I kept a secret from you." "You did, and I did as well." "What do you mean?" Alistair asked in a perplexed tone. "Well, before you were born, me and your daddy went out on a lot of dates. My parents didn't know about it because I kept it a secret from them, and after our fifteenth date, my parents found out and scolded me." Twilight said with an embarrassed chuckle. "Really? That's horrible." "Indeed." Twilight said with a nod "And that's how I learned my lesson in not to keep any more secrets." She added, and Alistair chuckled from his mother's statement. "Anyways, promise mommy that you will not keep any more secrets from us?" "I promise." Alistair said sternly. "That's my son." Twilight said as she stroked his head "Ah well, you should get to bed now, tomorrow you will have that huge meeting with your pony and changeling subjects in Canterlot." She tomd him. "Okay." Alistair said with a nod. After that, Alistair tucked himself in bed and pulled the blankets over him. He then placed his head on his soft pillow and let out an adorable yawn. "Good night mommy." Alistair said softly as he drifted into sleep. "Goodnight baby." Twilight said. After that, she kissed her son on his cheek and turned off his lamp. Then, she got up from his bed walked and walked towards the door of his room. Once she got to it, she pushed it open softly and looked back at her son for a moment with a warm smile because of the adorable sight of her son snoring softly in his bed. His room door was then pulled open and Twilight was seen standing at the doorway while looking at her son with a warm smile. Her husband was in the dinning room preparing breakfast for everypony so she had to wake him up. She walked up to the bed gently so that she wouldn't wake him up. Once she got to him, she looked down at her son with a warm smile because he is always very adorable when he sleeps, but what perplexed her was that he was not waking up. She then looked at the alarm clock on her left and noticed that it wasn't beeping. She must assume that it is out of batteries. "Great." Twilight said with a roll of her eyes "I guess I'll have to buy some more batteries with my little baby then." She told herself. Then, Twilight decided to wake her son up. She knelt down, leaned her muzzle close to him and planted a light kiss on his cheek. "Oh Alistair, it's time to wake up." Twilight said softly. Alistair then moaned and opened his eyes slowly. At first his visions were blurry but when they worked, Alistair saw his mother looking at him with a smile. "Mommy? What time is it?" "It is eight in the morning now Alistair." Twilight told him. "It is eight already?" Alistair said in a surprised tone, and Twilight replied with a nod. Then, Alistair slowly sat up straight and let out a cute yawn "I have to prepare for the meeting today." He said. "Indeed." Twilight said with a nod "Now come on, let's go to the dinning room." She finished, then she lifted her son up from the bed with her magic and placed him on the floor. After that, Alistair walked into his bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face before he eats breakfast. Five minutes later, Alistair walked out of his bathroom. And when Twilight saw him, she and her son both exited the room and walked to the dinning room where they will have breakfast. While walking, Alistair had some things in his head right now and he is feeling a little bit depressed and left out, although he does have his parents and aunts with him but, Spectre is not, he is still being held in the dungeons. "Hey mommy." Alistair called. "Yes baby?" Twilight asked as she looked down at her son. "I have a tiny favor." "What is it?" Twilight asked "You want deserts after breakfast? You want more books about chemistry?" She assumed. "Uh no." Alistair said with a shake of his head. "Oh, then what is it?" Twilight asked with a perplexed expression. "I uh want to invite Spectre for breakfast." He replied anxiously. "What do you mean baby?" Twilight asked with an incredulous expression "Didn't you remember what it did to your aunts Applejack and Cadence?" She reminded him with a stern expression. "I know and it was very bad but, he does seem nice, plus we might even be able to know more about him." Alistair replied "Please mommy?" Alistair pleaded with cute eyes. Twilight began to ponder about this hypothetical situation for a bit. She is still very angry at the creature for injuring her friend and sister in law. But, he did say that he was the one who rescued Ponyville from those monsters during the interrogation. Although he does seem to be a very detrimental creature but, he and her son do look like close friends. After thinking for fifteen seconds, Twilight let out a defeated sigh and looked down at her son. "Alright, we can call him over for breakfast." "Yay!" Alistair exclaimed in a contented tone "Thank you mommy." He said as he embraced her mother in a loving hug. "Your welcome baby." Twilight said as she hugged her son back. After ten seconds, they both released each other an felt out a chuckle. Then, Twilight stood up and saw a female changeling guard in front of her conveniently patrolling the hallway. "Hey guard!" Twilight called. When the guard heard the voice of her Queen, she looked up and saw Queen Twilight and Prince Alistair standing in front of her. "Queen Twilight, Prince Alistair." The guard said with salute. "Salutations guard." Twilight greeted with a smile "Me and my son have a favor we would like to ask you." She told her. "And that is?" "Would you mind grabbing Spectre from the dungeons and bring him to the dinning room please?" Alistair asked in a polite tone. The changeling froze in hesitation when she heard the request, she heard how the creature fought both Applejack's and Princess Cadence in a belligerant way. But, she stuffed her agitation aside and kept her bravery because, she is one of the leader of the guards. "Sure, I'll get him right away now." The guard said confidently. "Thank you so much." Alistair said with a smile. "You're welcome Prince Alistair." The guard said with a warm smile. After that, the guard ran to the dungeons. Spectre was sitting in his cell in the dungeons of the Changeling Kingdom with his arms crossed in vexation because he is getting tired of being held in this cell like a caged animal. He also have cuffs on his hands. "Grr, this is getting aggravating." Spectre complained with an angry expression behind his mask. And on cue, his cell door was being pulled open. Spectre looked in front of him and saw a female bug in armour standing in front of him. "What do you want?" The voice of the creature has sent some chills down the changeling's spine. But, she remained composed and looked at the creature. "Queen Twilight and Prince Alistair would like to have your presence in the dinning room for breakfast." The guard told him. Spectre was a bit surprised when he heard that, he didn't know that the creatures would gleefully want to invite him over for breakfast after what he has done. But then again, Alistair does think that he is his friend, so he shrugged it off. Then, the guard walked up to the creature and grabbed the chain of his cuffs. After that, she began to pull him to the dinning room. In the dinning room, the mane six were seen sitting together on the left side of the two long tables, Princess Celestia, Luna and Cadence were seen seated at the right side of the two large tables. And King Thorax and Queen Twilight were seen sitting at the end of the table near a large window with their son near them next to Rarity. "Ah darling, today is your meeting with your subjects, how do you feel?" Rarity asked. "I feel very exuberant aunt Rarity." Alistair replied with a smile "I have a lot of things to talk about." He added in a contented tone. "Then I'll be eager to-" Rarity wasn't able to finish her sentence when she felt something under her hooves. She looked down and saw a 3 feet grey lizard. And the sight made her petrified. "AHHHHHHH!" Everypony in the dinning room were startled by the scream. "What's wrong Rarity?" Pinkie asked with a perplexed expression. "A reptile is underneath me!" Rarity exclaimed in a perturbed tone. Pinkie then pulled the tablecloth up and saw Alistair's pet tegu. "Oh, it's not going to hurt you." "But I'm still scared!" "Come here Vector." Alistair said. When Vector heard his friend Alistair calling him, he crawled towards him. Once he got close, he levitated him up in the air a few feet and held him in his hooves. "How are ya doing buddy?" Alistair asked, and Vector stuck his tongue out "One of the servants will bring you some lizard food soon buddy." He told him. Everypony were about to talk to each other for a bit but then, the sounds of the doors opening stopped them. Everypony averted their eyes to the doors and saw Spectre dragged into the dinning room with a female guard in front of him. The female guard stuck the key of his cuffs into the keyhole and uncuffed him. And that gave Alistair a smile. "Thank you guard." Alistair said with a smile "You are now dismissed." He added. "Thank you Prince Alistair." The guard said with a bow. After that, the changeling turned around and exited the dinning room and resumed her patrol. "Please take a seat Spectre." Alistair said pointing at the empty seat in front of Spectre. "Sure." Spectre said as he walked up to the seat. Once he got to it, he pulled it back and sat on it, and when he did, he received some glares from Applejack and Cadence who still despised him for attacking them. "Can't you two forget the past?" Spectre asked incredulously. "That was yesterday you violent creature!" Applejack and Cadence exclaimed in unison. "How stubborn." Spectre said to himself quietly with a roll of his eyes behind his mask. "Hello mister Spectre." Spectre averted his eyes to the source of the female voice, and when he did, he saw the white alicorn he saw yesterday during the interrogation. "I believe that I haven't formerly introduced myself to you." She said in a polite tone "My name is Celestia, and I am the ruler of this land along with my sister here." Celestia introduced herself. "Greetings." Luna said with a wave. Spectre returned the gesture with a nod, then he heard some other voices calling him. He looked to his left and saw the six colourful ponies. "My name is Fluttershy the element of kindness." "My name is Rainbow Dash the element of loyalty and the fastest flyer in Equestria!" "Ma name is Applejack sir, and I am the element of honesty." "My name is Rarity the element of generosity." "My name is Pinkie Pie the element of happiness, my favourite hobby is throwing parties!" "And my name is Twilight Sparkle, the element of magic, the Princess of Friendship and the leader of the elements of harmony." Spectre thought that all of their statements and introductions were very weird preposterous. What kind of names are those? And what is this elements of harmony? "What kind of nickname is that?" Spectre thought with an incredulous expression "Looks like something out of a cartoon show, and that nickname would be a joke and very implausible to be a military unit nickname." He added. He was going to ask them questions of his, but then some noises behind him stopped him. Spectre looked behind him and saw twelve changelings in suits with serving trays levitated in front of them with their magic. The changeling's then walked to each of the ponies and changelings and placed the tray in front of them as well as one for Spectre. Once the dishes are placed on the table, everypony lifted their trays up and saw pancakes with syrup on them. "Wow! How scrumptious." Pinkie said ad she began to drool. Then everypony in the room started to eat their pancakes delightfully. "Here you go Vector." Alistair said as he pulled the small tray open and revealed some lizard food on a small plate. And Vector started to munch on it. "Huh, looks like Alistair has a pet who is also named Vector." Spectre said to himself with a quiet chuckle. He then pulled open his tray and saw that he has pancakes on his tray as well. He was going to eat but then, some footstep noises stopped him again. Spectre turned around and saw a changeling guard walking past the dinning room. And he noticed that he has his guns, combat knife and grenades levitated up on in front of him as well. When the changeling guard noticed the creature starring at him, he whimpered and ran to where he will put the creature's metal thing. "Something wrong Spectre?" Thorax asked in a polite tone. Spectre replied by turning around and glaring at the King through his goggle mask. And that made Thorax feel a little uncertain. "I better not see anyone using my stuffs." Spectre growled in anger. "Okay." Thorax said in an anxious tone "But we still have to stash your stuffs away so that you can't use them." He told him, and the statement made Spectre groan in vexation. Seven minutes later, everypony in the room all finished their meals except for Spectre of course because, he still doesn't trust them. "Are you going to finish that Spectre?" Alistair asked. "No, I'm not hungry." "Okay." Alistair said with a shrug "So much for an auspicious breakfast." He thought with a roll of his eyes because, he knows why Spectre was not in the mood in finishing his meal. Thorax then looked up at the clock and noticed that is was 9:00am. It was almost the time for Alistair's meeting. "Oh, it's almost time." Thorax said, then he looked down at his son "Alistair, it's time to get prepared in Canterlot." He told him. "Huh? Okay." "I have prepped a carriage just outside of the hive King Thorax." Celestia informed him. "Thank you Princess Celestia." Thorax said, and Celestia nodded. Then, everypony all got off their seats and walked to the doors of the dinning room including Vector. When Alistair got to Spectre, he said "I'll be back soon Spectre, I have told my guards to let you roam around the hive to explore." "Okay." "Great! I hope you find this place pleasant." Alistair said with a smile. After that, everypony including Vector all exited the dinning room leaving Spectre all alone. "All by myself again." Spectre said with a smirk because, he always wanted to have some alone time after all of those battles he had in Raccoon City "I guess I'll have to entertain myself by exploring this place just like what Alistair permitted me to do." He told himself with a shrug. After that, Spectre stood up from his seat and walked to the doors of the dinning room. Once he got to them, he exited the dinning room and commenced his exploration of the Changeling Hive while the changeling servants cleaned the table. Celestia informed him "And we will meet you on the castle balcony okay?" She asked. "Okay." Alistair acknowledged with a nod. "Good." Celestia said with a smile, then she turned to the guards "Alright guards, take off to Canterlot." She told them. The pegasus guards nodded and spread their wings. After that, theu pulled the carriage forward and took off up in the air. Then, they flew to Canterlot. "Alright my ponies, let's go to Canterlot." Celestia said. "Aww yeah." Pinkie said in an exuberant tone. Then, the mane five gathered close to Celestia and Luna. After that, Celestia and Luna both charged their horns in unison and teleported to Canterlot. But unknown to them, there was an evolved changeling watching them on top of a tree branch behind someplace, and it was seen transmitting the information to his Queen with his magic. In a cave, Queen Chrysalis was seen sitting on her throne while looking at a giant image of her drone's sighting of the mane six, Princess Celestia, Luna and Prince Alistair's departure to Canterlot. Then, a devious smirk appeared on her muzzle. "Jackpot." Chrysalis said in a vile tone. After that, she stood up from her throne and looked down at all of her evolved changeling drones who were growling viciously for vengeance after their last failed invasion in Canterlot years ago. "The time has come my drones, we will siege Canterlot and slaughter the ponies and capture the Prince!" Chrysalis exclaimed in a cold tone. "Mwahahahaha!" Then, Chrysalis activated her horn and teleported herself and her drones into the Everfree forest to pursue the mane six, Princess Celestia, Luna, Thorax and Alistair. In the Changeling Hive, Spectre was seen strolling through a hallway of the hive casually. Alistair has offered him a free tour of the place, but what he is focused on right now is to get his weapons back. "This place sure is huge." Spectre said with a nonplus expression "But, I've got a cunning tactic that might be able to lead me to my weapons again." He added in a chuckle. Spectre then raised his right arm and clicked on a button on his goggle mask. After that, his goggle set into the see through feature. Once it was activated, Spectre could see through everything in the changeling hive, even through solid objects. "They don't call me 'Spectre' for nothing." Spectre said with a chuckle. Spectre then started to look around the hive in search for his stuffs. When he looked up and down he saw no signs of his weapons, just some adult and young changelings walking around the place living their normal lives. "Where are they?" Spectre asked in a frustrated tone. When he looked to his right, his goggles detected his weapons. "Huh?" Spectre said as he looked to his right. When he did, Spectre saw his guns, grenades, combat knife and ammo clips held in a room a meter in front of him. And the room door was being guarded by the same guard he saw strolling down the hallway past the dinning room when he had breakfast with the royal family. "Well this is a coincidence." Spectre said to himself with a nonplus expression behind his mask "Ah whatever, it's time to reclaim my weapons, and maybe I can teach that guard a lesson if he hinders it for me." He added in a hazardous tone. After that, he flexed his muscles and cracked his neck. Then, he walked up to the room where his weapons are being held in. But once he walked next to a window, his goggles detected something else, something very detrimental and scary. "Huh?" Spectre said as he looked to his left. When he did, he saw hundreds of those strange bioweapons crawling hastily on the ground which scared many of the animals away. Spectre then turned off his see through feature of his goggles to get a better look. And when he did, he saw a tall shaped figure with them as well. The figure is dark coloured, it has holes in its legs, it has blue hair, shelled wings, a dark horn was on it's forehead, and it's eyes appear to be glowing in a blood red colour. Spectre then looked in front of him to see where all of those things were headed, and when he did, he noticed that they were heading south to this Canterlot place that Alistair told him about on his map that he gave him after their breakfast. "Oh no! They're going to this Canterlot place!" Spectre exclaimed in a perturbed tone. "I gotta act now!" He told himself as he immediately turned to the door where his weapons were being held in. The changeling guard was seen guarding the storage room door casually while wielding a spear in his right hoof, and he was feeling a bit wearisome. But, his boredom has came into a conclusion when he heard some running noises near him. The changeling looked to his left and saw the creature charging towards him. "Out of the way!" Spectre shouted. The guard wasn't able to raise his spear and tell the creature to halt in time when it pushed him to the ground with the force of his running. And the impact of the creature's push made the guard fall on the ground as well as making him dizzy in the process. Then, Spectre pushed the two doors open and stepped into the room. After that, he looked for his weapons. When he looked down on his left, he saw his guns, grenades, combat knife, first aid spray and ammo clips stashed on top of a box. "Ah there you all are." Spectre said with a smile. He then walked up to them. Once he got to them, he first tucked his samurai edge pistol in his holster, then he tucked his grenades at the right side of his belt, after that, he tucked his knife in his knife holder at his back, and finally he held his assault rifle in his hands. "Alright, back in action." Spectre said in a confident tone. After that, he charged out of the storage room and rushed to the exit of the changeling Kingdom. "I'm coming Alistair!" He exclaimed. In Canterlot, the two pegasus guards were seen landing at the entrance of Canterlot. After that, one of the pegasus guard's walked up to the door of the carriage and pulled it open. After that, King Thorax, Queen Twilight and Prince Alistair as well as Vector were seen getting off the carriage. "Alright baby, let's commence the meeting." Twilight said in a joyful tone. "Got it mommy." Alistair said with an exhilarated smile. "Lets go son, there is a surprise for you in the castle." Thorax told him. "Surprise?" Alistair asked with wide eyes, and Thorax replied to him with a nod "What kind of surprise." He asked again with a raise of his eyebrow. "You will see very soon, but for now, let's head into the castle." Throax said. "Okay." After that, King Thorax, Queen Twilight and Prince Alistair all stepped foot into the capital and started to walk to the castle. While doing that, many of the ponies were seen waving their hooves at the royal family as well as Alistair's tegu pet. King Thorax, Queen Twilight and Prince Alistair waved back at all of them with smiles. After walking for four minutes, the family has reached the front gates of the castle. Two guards opened the gates for them and they all stepped in. "Hey Alistair!" When Alistair heard the intimate voices, he saw his uncle Shining Armor and big brother Spike in front of them. "Uncle Shining Armor! Big brother Spike!" Alistair yelled as he ran towards them. Once he got to them, he embraced them both in a heart warming hug, and they both hugged back. "Are you ready for this year's meeting Alistair?" Shining Armor asked. "I am more than ready!" Alistair exclaimed "I am exhilarated!" He told him. "That's the Alistair we know, always very wise and enthusiastic as his parents." Spike commented with a chuckle, and Alistair chuckled back. Shining Armor looked up and saw Thorax and her sister in front of him and Spike. "Ah Thorax, Twilight, so good to see you two again." Shining Armor said with a smile. "It is good to see you too Shining Armor." Thorax greeted with a smile. "Indeed it is." Twilight said with a smile towards her brother "But apologies brother, I have to get my son prepared for the meeting." She told him as she levitated her son up in the air and placed him on her back. After that, she walked towards the castle with her husband leaving Shining Armor, Spike and Vector alone. "Well that was quite the rush." Spike said with a nonplus expression. "Indeed, but hey, royals have a lot of things to do Spike." Shining told him, and Spike nodded in agreement "Oh, hello Vector." He said as he took notice of Alistair's pet and friend. Twenty minutes later, Alistair was seen standing near the castle balcony while being suited in a green suit with a red bow tie, Twilight was seen suited in a blue skirt, and Thorax was seen suited in a black tuxedo. "You look ready." Thorax said with a smile. "Yes I am daddy." Alistair said with an exhilarated smile. "That's my son." Twilight said as she planted a light kiss on her son's forehead "Alright now you wait here while I talk to our subjects first, then I'll call you after I am done." She told him. "Okay." After that, Twilight walked up towards the balcony of the castle. Once she did, she stared down at her pony and changeling subjects who starred at her with a smile. "Hello my subjects." Twilight greeted with a bow "Today is my son's tenth meeting with you all!" She exclaimed, and all of her subjects started to cheer. After that, Twilight turned around and faced her son. "That's your cue baby." "Okay." Alistair said as he took a deep breath and exhaling it. After that, Alistair walked up to the castle balcony. Once he got to it, he leaned near the edge of the balcony and looked down at his subjects who started to cheer loudly at the sight of him. "Salutations my wonderful subjects." Alistair greeted with a warm smile "Today is my tenth meeting with you all, and I want to say thank you for participating like you always do." He said in a grateful tone. Then, all of the ponies and changelings started to cheer louder when they heard that. And they began to chant wonderful and positive comments towards the adorable Prince. Then, Alistair looked back at his parents. "That was great baby." Twilight said with a proud smile. "Now proceed." Thorax told him. Alistair nodded and looked back at his subjects. "In today's meeting, I would like to-" Alistair wasn't able to finish his sentence when a loud scream was heard following up by a screeching noise. "Ahhhh!" "BREEEEEC!" Everypony turned to the source of the noise and saw a unicorn guard sliding towards them with a blood covered face, and the sight scandalized them, it even made some of the youngs and mares feel sick. "We meet again." The mane six, Princess Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Shining Armor, Spike and Thorax recognized the intimate and menacing voice. They all looked in front of them and saw Chrysalis the previous ruler if the changelings. "Chrysalis." Celestia growled as she and her sister as well as the mane five, Spike and Shining stepped in front of the ponies and the changelings. "How typical, you all think you can protect yourselves by doing that?" Chrysalis asked with an incredulous expression. "Leave this place now Chrysalis." Shining Armor demanded menacingly "Or we will beat you up like the way we did back with my wedding with my wife Cadence." He told him menacingly. "Oh really?" Chrysalis asked with a raise of her eyebrow "Well think again." She told them in a more deeper and detrimental voice which sent chills down to the ponies and changelings spines. Then, Chrysalis's eyes turned into a blood red colour and foam started to appear out of her mouth which made everypony take some steps back in perplexity and anxiety. Three seconds later, large claws have formed on Chrysalis's hooves which made many ponies startled. After that, sharp teeth have formed in her mouth, and four long thin sized tongues appeared out of her muzzle, and her spines have popped out of her back. And the transformation was completed. Everypony including the Princess Celestia, Luna, Thorax, the mane six, Alistair, Shining Armor, Spike, Vector, the ponies and changelings traumatised and petrified of Chrysalis's new intimidating form. After the transformation, Chrysalis loomed down at everypony with a wicked smile. "Witness my form and the power of the virus!" Chrysalis exclaimed which made everypony frightened. "Attack them my drones!" Chrysalis exclaimed dastardly as many of her evolved changelings rushed into the castle. Author's Note Another chapter has been accomplished! I hope you all enjoyed it! //-------------------------------------------------------// Evolved invasion //-------------------------------------------------------// Evolved invasion The evolved changelings were seen running through the town of Equestria to slaughter and capture the changelings under the orders of their Queen Chrysalis. Many ponies and changelings were seen running around in circles in town while being chased by those changelings. "Guards attack them!" Shining Armor ordered. "Yes sir!" The guards then charged forward towards the mutated changelings with spears aimed directly at them. But, the changelings responded by pouncing at them in an incredible speed which caught the guards off guard. Once the changelings got close to the guards, they swung their hooves back and severed their heads with their claws which released a lot of blood into the air. After that, the guards headless bodies fell on the ground. Shining Armor was truly scandalized from what had happened, he tried to fight but suddenly, he felt something grabbing him by his back hoof. Shining Armor turned around and saw a changeling grabbing him with its long tongue. "Let me go!" Shining Armor exclaimed as he tried to free himself. He charged his horn and attempted to blast the changeling with his magic. When the Chnageling took notice of the attempted magical blast from the unicorn, he raised his tongue up and slammed the unicorn onto the ground roughly. "Auugh!" Shining Armor yelled in pain. The force of the impact has created a small hole on the ground as well as giving Shining Armor a bloody face. "Shining!" Cadence exclaimed in horror. She ran towards the changeling to rescue her husband. But before she could get to it, her back hoof was pulled and she fell on the ground roughly with a grunt. Cadence tried to turn around to see who was grabbing her. But, she didn't get the chance when the creature holding her held her up in the air and slammed her onto the ground. The impact gave her a contusion on the face as well as a bleeding muzzle. In the castle gate, Queen Chrysalis was seen casually walking towards the castle doors to capture Prince Alistair as well as apprehending King Thorax and Queen Twilight Sparkle. But Celestia and Luna were standing in front of her. "Don't take a step any closer Queen Chrysalis." Celestia warned as she and her sister Luna charged their horns "Or else we will-" Celestia wasn't able to finish her sentence when Chrysalis slapped her away with her tongue, and the force of her slap sent the two Princesses crashing into the wall. The mane five were traumatized when they saw what Chrysalis has done, they then formed a line and charged towards her while letting out some battlecries. But, it turned out to be a futile move when five mutated changelings jumped over Chrysalis and landed on them. They tried to struggle free but the changelings trapped them with their tongues and claws. Chrysalis let out a wicked smile when she saw that her plans are accomplishing because of the virus she used to upgrade her changeling drones including herself. It was a great improvisational plan. Then, she walked towards the castle. When Thorax and Twilight noticed that Chrysalis was coming towards them, they both looked down at their son. "Alistair, you have to run." Thorax told him. "But daddy what about you and mommy?" Alistair asked in a perturbed tone. "Don't worry sweetie me and daddy will be okay." Twilight assured him "But we need you to run." She told him sternly. Alistair wanted to object because, he doesn't wants to abandon his parents, aunts, uncle, big brother, grandparents, pet and subjects. But, he has to obey them. But before he could even run, three long tongues snatched them from the balcony and pulled them back. Then, Thorax, Twilight and Alistair were being held in the air near the castle balcony. "Let my son go you monster!" Thorax exclaimed. Alistair looked back and saw something very petrifying. In front of him was a giant mutated Chrysalis with her hooves turned into long ginormous red coloured legs with long sharp toes attached into the ground. Her mouth has seven long tongues sticking out of it. Her eyes were turned into a blood red colour and she looked more fearsome and intimidating than any villian his parents and aunts had fought. "Hahaha!" Chrysalis laughed vily "I now have the changeling and friendship King Thorax, Queen Twilight and Prince Alistair in my possession now!" She exclaimed dastardly. "Let my son go you monster!" Twilight demanded while trying to struggle out of her grip. "How about I eat your son then drop his body to the ground?" Chrysalis asked which sent chills down to Alistair's spine. Both Thorax and Twilight's eyes widened in apprehension when they heard that. "You wouldn't dare!" Thorax exclaimed. "I would." Thorax then charged his horn and attempted to blast Chrysalis in the face. When Chrysalis noticed this, she smacked Thorax against a castle window, shattering it in the process. "Honey!" Twilight exclaimed in fear. Chrysalis pulled her tongue back and noticed that Thorax was knocked out cold and his head was bleeding. "Perfect." Chrysalis growled with a satisfied smirk, then she turned to Alistair. "Your turn junior." She said in a hazardous tone. Then, Chrysalis slowly pulled her tongue back with her mouth opened widely. Alistair was desperateky trying to struggle free but, Chrysalis's grip was too strong, even if he tries to teleport she would instantly get him with her tongue. Twilight was trying to force herself free from Chrysalis's grip but her mutated form was too prevail, she looked forward and saw that Alistair was pulled near her mouth. "NO! ALISTAIR!" Twilight exclaimed as a tear rolled down her left cheek. When Alistair noticed that he is now currently very close to Chrysalis's mouth and sharp teeth, he closed his eyes tightly and awaited for his fate. But suddenly, a loud noise was heard. *BANG!* "Augh!" Chrysalis grunted in pain. Something sharp has made contact with her tongue which made her cease her feast on Alistair. Alistair looked down to where the source of the blast was from, and when he did, he saw Spectre standing there under Chrysalis with his weapon aimed at her tongue which she was using to hold him. "What the you?!" Chrysalis exclaimed in a shocked tone. Spectre then aimed his assault rifle at the wounded area on Chrysalis's tongue and fired another shot at it. *BANG!* "Augh!" Chrysalis grunted in agony. The tongue then broke and Alistair started to fall to the ground. When Spectre saw Alistair falling to the ground, he ran towards him so that he could catch him. Once he ran to the spot where he was falling to, he positioned himself to catch him. Ten seconds later, Spectre has successfully caught Alistair in his arms. Spectre then looked down at him and noticed that his eyes were closed. "Hey Alistair wake up." Alistair then slowly removed his hooves away from his eyes and saw Spectre in front of him. "Sp-Spectre? How did you get here?" He asked. "Long story short, just saw those monsters coming to where you, your parents and aunts were headed." He replied simply "Anyways, there's no time to delineate, we have to get out of here." He told him sternly. When Alistair heard this, he looked up at where Chrysalis was and saw that his parents were still being held by her, and his aunts, uncle, big brother and pet were being apprehended by the mutated changelings. He then turned around and saw his subjects being chased by more of those transformed changelings. "No!" Alistair objected as he got off Spectre "I can't let Chrysalis torture and take away my parents, aunts, uncle, brother, Vector and subjects!" He exclaimed as he tried to run to the castle to save them, but he was stopped when Spectre grabbed him by his torso with his right hand. "Then I guess I'll have to take you away then!" Spectre said, he then lifted him up and carried him on his shoulder. Then, Spectre turned around and started to run away to the exit of the town with Alistair. "Let me go!" Alistair exclaimed as he tried to struggle out of his grip. Spectre then ran out of the castle and started to rush his way to the drawbridge where he entered. While running, Spectre rushed through the town and saw many ponies and changelings being slaughtered, devoured and held by those new bioweapons and the sight made Alistair depressed and petrified. But there was nothing Spectre or him can do, right now Spectre's main objective is to get Alistair out of Canterlot. Spectre then made a right turn out of an alleyway, and when he did, he saw the drawbridge in front of him. "Drawbridge here I come." Spectre exclaimed as he ran towards it. But suddenly, as he got one meter from it, two changelings jumped in front of their path and starred at him with a hungry expression. They then bellowed a screech and charged towards Spectre and Alistair. When Spectre noticed this, he aimed his assault rifle forward and fired at the changelings. *BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!* The bullets have collided in the changelings heads, and they both were knocked back from the impact. Then, they fell on their backs on the ground killed. After that, Spectre lowered his rifle and ran to the drawbridge to escape with Alistair in his shoulder. Fifteen seconds later, Spectre has made it on the drawbridge and he started to run to a place to hide. Alistair looked back at the capital once more and saw the mutated Chrysalis apprehending his parents, aunts, uncle, big brother and grandparents in the castle. He then looked in front of him and saw his subjects being chased down and devoured by those mutated changelings, and the sight scandalized him. Back at the castle, Chrysalis was starring at the drawbridge of Canterlot and saw the creature that she tried to kidnap has escaped with Alistair. "Grr, he will pay." Chrysalis groaned in anger "But for now, Canterlot is mine!" Chrysalis exclaimed dastardly. "Muwahahahaha!" Spectre has ran for forty minutes now, and he has reached to the train station of Canterlot. He then turned around and scanned the area with his goggle mask to see if any of those bioweapons were still pursuing him. After scanning for ten seconds, his goggles detected nothing, so Spectre must assume that he and Alistair are safe for now. Spectre then let out a relieved sigh and tucked his assault rifle back on his back. Then, he turned his head to his left so that he can look at Alistair on his left shoulder. "Alistair, everything is fine now." Spectre told him, but Alistair didn't reply to him. Spectre then grabbed Alistair from his shoulder and held him in his hands gently. After that, he slowly placed him on the ground, and to his great surprise, he wasn't moving or speaking to him. Spectre then bent down, knelt on one knee and looked at his shocked and disconsolate expression. "Alistair?" Spectre called him "Are you good?" He asked. Alistair didn't reply to his inquiry, he was too scandalized about what had happened earlier, he couldn't save his parents, aunts, uncle, big brother and subjects. Then, tears have formed in his eyes and he started to sob. After that, he lunged himself towards Spectre and hugged Spectre tightly. "Why did that happen?" Alistair sobbed "Daddy! Mommy!" He cried. Spectre was feeling very sympathetic towards Alistair, his parents, aunts, uncle, and many more are now being occupied by those bioweapons. He then wrapped Alistair around on his back with his arms and hugged him in an attempt to console him. "Don't worry Alistair, we'll save them, I promise." Spectre told him softly. The remaining ponies and changelings who surrendered to the changeling army have been held hostage at the garden area where a group of mutated changelings were circling around the groups ponies and changelings in a detrimental way. And the ponies and changelings were all drastically petrified of the evolved changelings. While on top of the castle, Queen Chrysalis was seen holding King Thorax and Queen Twilight Sparkle in her tongues, while Princess Celestia, Luna, the mane five, Shining Armor, Spike and Vector were being watched by those mutated changelings who were hissing and sticking their tongues out at them. Everything seemed very despairing for the ponies and changelings of Equestria. Chrysalis has claimed victory over the leaders and them all thanks to the help of the virus she stole. "Muwhahahaha!" Chrysalis laughed vily "I did it! I have finally conquered Canterlot and vanquished the leaders!" She exclaimed dastardly. "You won't get away with this." Thorax growled at her. "Yeah!" Twilight exclaimed. "Sorry what was that again?" Chrysalis asked with a raise of her eyebrow, but Thorax and Twilight didn't replied "Yeah, just what I thought, you two have lost." She said in a cold tone. "We haven't lost Chrysalis." Twilight told her "My son is still out there, and he will rescue us!" She exclaimed confidently. "Yeah!" Thorax said with a nod. When Chrysalis heard this, she let out a laugh. "Hahaha! Your son will rescue you?" Chrysalis asked with an incredulous expression "Your son is just a little coward! What can he even do?" She asked with a chuckle. When Twilight and Thorax heard that, they were both very infuriated. "How dare you?!" Thorax and Twilight both charged their horns again and tried to blast her. When Chrysalis noticed this, she squeezed Thorax and Twilight's torso with her tongues tightly. That caused them to grunt and cancel their attempt. "Hahaha! You are all very frail!" Chrysalis insulted "You two are just as dumb and weak as three year olds." She added sarcastically. Thorax and Twilight were both very infuriated when they heard the sarcastic insults from Chrysalis, they wanted to blast her again or teleport out of her grip, but if they attempt to do it, they will be squeezed or captured again. That will result in getting themselves killed. Then, they both sighed bregrudingly. When Chrysalis noticed that Thorax and Twilight as well as their friends and subjects all have their spirits broken as well as surrendering, she let out a wicked smile. "Muwahahahaha! I have won!" Chrysalis exclaimed dastardly. But little did she know, the virus in her was beginning to mutate again. Back in the train station in Canterlot, Spectre and Alistair were seen standing on the platform of the train station. Alistair was pacing back and forth in an anxious way, while Spectre was looking at a map of Canterlot he took from Alistair and he was trying to look for an alternative entrance to the capital, but the map showed no other entrances. All seemed silent for a moment, but that was until Alistair let out a frustrated groan. "Ugh! This is preposterous!" Alistair exclaimed in a vexed tone "I'm gonna go to Canterlot and take out Chrysalis and her army." He added sternly as he started to walk to Canterlot. When Spectre heard his statement, his eyes widened behind his mask. He then approached Alistair and stopped him in his track by placing his right foot in front of him. That caught Alistair off guard. "Just where do you think your going?" Spectre asked him. "Canterlot obviously." Alistair replied "I can't just stand here while my parents, aunts, uncle, big brother, Vector and my subjects are being apprehended by Chrysalis and her army!" He exclaimed. "Now now Alistair, I know you desperately want to save your parents and many of your other relatives there, but that Chrysalis you speak of and her army of bioweapon changeling things are still over there." Spectre told him "And if you try to bust in, those bioweapons will instantly eat you." He told him logically. "Yeah, like I'm scared of her and her mutated army." Alistair said recklessly "I can just blast them with my magic!" He exclaimed. "Look Alistair." Spectre said as he bent down "Right now, your capital has been sieged by those bioweapons and the giant big thing at the castle who I assume is the leader, and everyone or pony including your parents and relatives are now depending on you to rescue them, if you just bust through there without a plan, it would be death." Spectre enlightened him. Alistair took a while to acknowledge Spectre's logical and forward thinking words. It is true that his magic that his mother and aunt Celestia taught him were strong, but he still wasn't strong enough because he is still in his youth. And judging by the transformation of Chrysalis and her changeling army, he must assume that they are now even more stronger and they will attack and devour somepony without any hesitation. Then, Alistair let out a relived sigh and looked up at Spectre with a defeated expression. "I guess your statement is veracious Spectre." Alistair sighed, and Spectre let out a smile behind his mask. "Of course." Spectre said "Its logical." He added. "What do you have in mind that will save my parents, relatives and subjects?" Alistair asked. "Lets see." Spectre said as he placed the map of Canterlot on the floor, then he started to brainstorm "I can see that there is only one entrance in the capital which is the drawbridge here." Spectre said as he pointed at the drawbridge. "Yep." "And we need to get to the castle here." Spectre said pointing at the castle. "Indeed." "We need to go in undetected. So what I think we can do is we need to hide beside some buildings to be unseen by those bioweapons. We will do the process again and again until we reach the castle." Spectre said "That's my plan." He told him. Alistair took a while to think about his plan, it would be a daunting task, but it will be necessary to rescue his parents, relatives and subjects. "That's a great plan Spectre." Alistair said with a smile "Lets commence it." He said with a confident expression. Alistair was going to walk to Canterlot once again but, Spectre stopped him again. "What is it now Spectre?" "Here use this." Spectre said as he upholstered his samurai edge pistol and placed it on the floor near him. "You want me to use one of your weapons?" Alistair asked with a perplexed expression. "Yes." Spectre replied with a nod, then he started to instruct him "Here's how you use it, the gun has a trigger down here as well as a small sight on top of it. To fire the gun, you need to pull the trigger, to aim you will need to look through the scope understood?" He asked. "Understood Spectre." "Good." Spectre said with a smile. Alistair tried to carry the gun with his hooves, but when he did, he was forced to put it back down because it was very hefty. So, he decided to use his magic, and it was a success. Then, Spectre bent down again. "Here buddy." Spectre said as he pulled the slide of the pistol back, and when he did, the firearm made a noise "If you run out of bullets call me and I'll give you another clip Okay?" He asked. "Roger." Alistair replied with a confident nod. "Good." Spectre said with a smile, then he stood up and turned around "Now let's commence the operation." He said. "Alright." After that, Spectre and Alistair both started to run to Canterlot to save everypony there. Author's Note Another chapter finished! Chrysalis shouted, but Alistair didn't flinch, he remained his composure. Spectre then aimed his assault rifle forward and fired five shots at her chest. *BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!* When the five bullets collided in Chrysalis's chest, nothing happened. The bullets just got absorbed into the chest area and didn't cause any effects to her. "Hahaha!" Laughed Chrysalis "You think that little toy of yours can put a dent on me? You are pathetic and cretinous!" Chrysalis insulted. Spectre was a bit angry by her sarcastic insult, but he remained calm and started to look for a weakness in her. He raised his right arm and began to reach for a button on the right side of his goggle mask. Alistair on the other hand was looking for his parents, relatives and subjects. And when he looked in front of him, he saw them all behind the castle. "Daddy! Mommy!" Alistair yelled, he then ran and tried to get to them. But suddenly, a giant foot appeared in front of him. Alistair looked up to his left and saw Chrysalis looking down at him while hissing with five tongues. "You're not going anywhere." Chrysalis then raised her leg up and prepared to squash the Prince and ending his life in the process. When Alistair noticed this, he shielded his face and prepared to the daunting impact to come. But miraculously, there was no death for him today when Alistair heard some shots fired as well as the grunting noise of Chrysalis. *BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG* "Augh!" Alistair slowly moved his hooves away from his eyes and looked up to see what has happened. And to his great surprise, Chrysalis didn't even squashed him, her leg was now six centimeters in front of him. "What happened?" "Alistair!" Spectre called him. "Get out of there and get back to me!" He told him. "Okay." Alistair said with a nod. Then, he turned around and ran back to Spectre. "What's the plan?" He asked. "Alright listen carefully." Spectre told him, and Alistair started to listen "I can now see that your queen here has mutated into a ginormous monster, and I tried shooting at her chest and leg area but it didn't work." He finished. "Oh, then what are we suppost to do?" Alistair asked in a concerned tone. "I have detected some weak areas on her." Spectre told him. "What are those weak areas?" "See those joints over there?" Spectre asked pointing at a large red circular ball looking thing, and Alistair replied with a nod "Those joints are connected to Chrysalis's legs, if I shoot them off, she will eventually fall on her chest giving us a chance to finish her!" He said. Alistair took a second to acknowledge his words. And five seconds later, Alistair looked back up at Spectre with an approved expression. "Sounds like a plan to me Spectre." Alistair said. "Good." Spectre said with a nod "I'll focus on Chrysalis here, and you'll focus on saving your parents, relatives and subjects understood?" He asked. "That's a plan Spectre." Alistair said in a confident tone. "Good, commencing operation Canterlot!" After Spectre has said those words, Alistair charged forward and started to rush to his parents, relatives and subjects who were being held in those green cocoons. Chrysalis who has just recovered from the unexpected attack looked down and saw Alistair rushing towards her, but she saw that he isn't running to her, he is running to his parents, relatives and subjects. "Oh no you don't." Chrysalis growled as she lifted up one of her legs, she then attempted to crush him. When Spectre noticed this, he aimed his assault rifle up and fired six shots at the joint. *BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!* When the six shots collided into the joint, it was popped out of place. Then, Chrysalis started to fall to the ground, and Alistair made it through her. "Augh!" Chrysalis grunted. Alistair looked back and saw that Chrysalis was on the ground on her left side. He must assume that Spectre must've shot down one of the joints. "Nice work Specs!" Alistair exclaimed in a joyful manner. "Thanks, now go and rescue them." Alistair nodded and turned around. Then, he ran to the cocoon. Chrysalis looked in front of her where Spectre was, and she shot him a hazardous glare. "You're going to pay for that." Chrysalis growled. "Bring it on then." Spectre mocked. Chrysalis took the insult and shot one of her tongues forward attempting to grapple him and put him in her mouth. When Spectre took notice of this, he aimed his assault rifle forward and fired one shot at the tongue. And when the bullet collided with the tongue, it broke and fell on the ground. "Ahhh!" Chrysalis yelled in pain. When Spectre saw his chance, he ran to his left to where the front right leg joint is. Once he got to it, he aimed his rifle up at it and fired six shots at it again. *BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!* When the six bullets collided into the joint of Chrysalis's front right leg, it popped out of place and the leg fell off bringing Chrysalis down in the process. And Chrysalis was on the ground with only her back legs left. "Why you!" "Two down, two more to go." Spectre said. At the back of the castle, Alistair was seen prying open some of the cocoons with his magic in desperate attempt to free everypony, he first started with his parents. "Come on open!" Alistair said while using all of his strength. Ten seconds later, Alistair managed to break the cocoon that was holding his parents, a splat noise was heard and Throax and Twilight fell on the ground with their eyes still closed. "Daddy! Mommy! Wake up!" Alistair exclaimed while nudging them. Five seconds later, Thorax and Twilight moaned and opened their eyes slowly. Then, they saw their son in front of them. "A-Alistair? What's going on?" Thorax asked. "No time to explain daddy, we gotta free the others!" Alistair said sternly. Twilight then looked around her and saw that her friends, teacher and subjects all held in cocoons by the mutated Chrysalis. "Oh no! Come on Thory, we gotta help!" Twilight said anxiously. Thorax nodded and he and his wife both stood up from the ground. After that, they started to go around the area prying everyponies cocoons in desperate to free them all from Chrysalis. Back at the front of the castle, Spectre was seen still battling Chrysalis. He was behind her trying to break her back to leg joint. "Die you aggravating insect!" Chrysalis exclaimed trying to swat Spectre away with her tentacles. When Spectre noticed the tentacles, he aimed his assault rifle forward and fired at them, and when the bullets collided with the tentacles, green liquid leaked out and the tentacles immediately retreated back into her large stomach. After that, Spectre turned to his right and aimed his assault rifle at the joint of Chrysalis's back right leg. He steadied his aim and fired six shots at it again. *BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!* When the six bullets collided into the joint, the joint broke loose and the leg fell down. "Alright, one more to go!" Spectre said running to the last leg which was the back left one. Once Spectre has reached the back left leg, he aimed his assault rifle up and tried to shoot it. But suddenly, a tentacle was wrapped around his chest and it gripped onto his firmly. "Ooof!" Spectre grunted from the pressure. "Gotcha now." Spectre tried to shoot the tentacle with his gun, but the tenacious pressure from Chrysalis's tentacle ceased his attempt. Then, Spectre improvised. He reached into his knife holder with his left hand and unsheathed his knife. After that, Spectre raised his left arm up and stabbed the tentacle. The impact sprayed many green coloured liquid out from the tentacle and it released its grip from Spectre. Once Spectre was free, he sheathed his knife and ran to the back left leg. Five seconds later, Spectre has reached the final leg. He aimed his rifle up and focused on the joint. He took a deep breath and fired six shots at it. *BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!* When the six bullets collided into the joint, it detached from the leg and the leg fell on the ground. And Chrysalis fell flat onto the ground, she had no legs to help her get back up, and her tentacles and tongues would not even be able to help support her weight because of their soft textures. "Woohoo! That's all the legs!" Spectre exclaimed in a satisfied tone "You're now unable to get back up you abomination!" He insulted her. Then, he reloaded his assault rifle. "Hey Spectre!" When Spectre heard Alistair's voice, he turned around and saw him and many other ponies and changelings behind him. He must assume that he has freed all of them. "Great work little friend!" Spectre said in a proud tone. "Thanks." Alistair said with a smile. "Come on everypony, let's get out of here." Twilight said. Then, everypony including Spectre all ran to the front gates of the castle to escape. But suddenly, a large tentacle appeared in front of them, blocking their path which startled many youngs. Everypony and Spectre turned around and saw Chrysalis looked at them with a sinister smile on her muzzle. "Hahaha! You think that getting rid of my legs will stop me?" Chrysalis asked incredulously "It will take more than that to stop me." She told them in a vile tone. "NOW DIE!" Chrysalis exclaimed as she shot out her tentacles directly towards them. Everypony immediately shielded their faces when they noticed the large tentacles coming towards them. But, nothing happened. Everypony looked in front of them to see what was happening. And to their great surprise, Chrysalis has stopped moving. "What is going on?" A pony in the crowd asked. Then, Chrysalis's tentacles and tongues started to shake violently as well as her body. "Wh-what is happening? The virus is taking control of me!" Chrysalis screamed in pain. Then, the virus inside of Chrysalis started to mutate again, sharp and longer teeth were formed under her teeth gum, her hair was detached, her spines got sharper, her tongues and tentacles got longer, and a brain covered her face except for her teeth. "BREEEEEC!!!" Roared the monster. Spectre then turned around and looked at the ponies and changelings. "GO! GO! GO!" "Everypony run!" Alistair told his subjects. Then, everypony screamed and rushed out of the castle and started to run to the drawbridge of Canterlot and escape while being led by King Thorax, Queen Twilight, the mane five, Princess Celestia and Luna as well as Shining Armor and the Royal guards. Spectre looked at the mutated Chrysalis again for a second, and back at the ponies and changelings. "Crap, there's no time." Spectre said in a worrying tone. He then started to come up with a plan. Five seconds later, his eyes widened because, he remembered that he has something with him. "Wait, the C-4'S!" Spectre exclaimed. He then reached into his back and pulled out to C-4 explosives as well as the detonator. He looked in front of him to see of there are any places to place the C-4'S to kill the large bioweapon. But, there were no places to put them. The only vulnerable area was Chrysalis's face, and even if he place the C-4'S near her face, she would instantly devour him. There was only one solution left. Spectre turned around and saw that Alistair was still here, and wasn't far. "Hey Alistair!" When Alistair heard Spectre he turned around and saw him running towards him. "Yes Spectre?" "Alistair, I have a favor that I would like to ask you." "And that is?" Spectre then placed a detonator on the ground underneath him. And the sight made him bewildered. "What is that Spectre?" "That right there is a detonator for these to C-4'S here." Spectre delineated showing Alistair the C-4'S "There are no suitable areas for me to place the C-4'S, so I'm going to have to charge in there, and when I'm neat her face, I'm going to need you to press the detonator and explode the C-4'S." He told him. When Alistair heard this, he was traumatized. "Wait what?! But, you'll die!" "It doesn't matter, you need to get to safety with your parents, relatives and subjects." "Spectre please..." Alistair said as tear formed in hid eyes. "Hey look." Spectre said as he rubbed his cheek with his right gloved hand "Alistair, you are the greatest friend and comrade I have ever met, and it is an honor to fight along side with you. And as a duty of a soldier and a friend, it is my responsibility to protect the community and you from hazards. Just like how you will be in the future." He told him. Alistair started to tear up again, he didn't want to loose him, Spectre was his best friend. But, the lives of his subjects were at stake, and he had to accept it. "Tell me what I need to do Spectre." "Alright, I'm going to charge to Chrysalis with the C-4'S, and once I get to her, I need you to press the red button here on the detonator, the button will explode the C-4'S." Spectre told him simply "Understood?" He asked. "Y-yes Spectre." Alistair said in a disconsolate tone. "Good." Spectre said with a smile behind his mask. He then grabbed a radio from his back and gave it to him "Use this to contact me, press the button on the left." He instructed. "O-okay." Alistair said as he grabbed the radio and detonator with his magic. "Alright let's commence!" Spectre exclaimed. Then, Spectre stuck both C-4'S on his chest and rushed towards Chrysalis hastily. And Alistair ran out of the castle and to a far distance as he could. At the castle, Spectre was firing bullets directly at the bioweapon's face, and when each bullets collided in his face, the monster let our some pained grunts. Spectre was going to fire more shots, but suddenly, his gun started to click. *Click Click* "Oh crap I'm out of bullets!" Then suddenly a sharp tentacle was stabbed through Spectre's chest. "Augh!" Spectre grunted in pain. Then, he was reeled in near the monster's face. When Spectre noticed that he was in a close enough distance. He raised his right hand up and started to contact Alistair. "Alistair, press the detonator now!" There was a brief moment of static, then a reply. "O-okay, goodbye Spectre." Alistair stuttered. "Goodbye buddy." Spectre said. Then, Spectre looked back in front of him and gave his last words to the mutated Chrysalis. "I see everything you loathsome insect!" Spectre exclaimed. Twilight was looking at Applejack as well as her brother with an expression of fret towards them, those contusions must be very severe. When Thorax noticed his wife's perturbed expression, he wrapped his hooves around her neck and pulled her close to him gently. Then, he leaned in and kissed her on the forehead. "Calm down Twily, they'll be okay." Thorax told her in an assuring tone. When Twilight heard this, a warm smile appeared on her muzzle. "Thank you for your console Thorax, I appreciate it a lot." "Your welcome Twily." Thorax said with a smile, then he leaned in and kissed her on the lips and Twilight kissed back. "Awwwwww." Said Rarity, Pinkie, Spike, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. In Prince Alistair's room, Spectre was seen looking around the bedroom with a flabbergasted expression behind his goggle mask, he has never seen a bedroom like this before. "Wow, this bedroom is like from the medieval times." Spectre thought with an astonished expression "I wish my bedroom is like his." He added quietly. Alistair looked up at Spectre and saw that he is looking around his bedroom left and right, and he must assume that he is very stupefy by it, and the sight made him chuckle. "I see that you are flabbergasted by the sight of my bedroom." Spectre then snapped out of his thoughts and looked down at Alistair. "Yeah kinda." Spectre said with a humiliated chuckle "Your bedroom is way better than mines at home." He added. "Yeah my parents loves me very much that they give me gifts." He told him, "And because of my satisfying behaviour as well as some great work at school, they renovated my bedroom with the help of some workers from Ponyville, and it actually quite mortified me." He finished with a chuckle. Spectre thought that his statement was quite hysterical. His parents must love him very much. "Okay anyways, back to the point." Alistair said as he looked up at Spectre "Do you think that we can instigate the interrogation now please?" He asked in a courteous tone. "Sure." Spectre replied with a nod. "Yay!" Alistair said with an exuberant expression "Let's do it in my playroom." He finished as he pointed at the playroom door. "Okay then." "Cool! Let's go!" Alistair vocalized. Then, Alistair lead Spectre to his playroom door. Once they got there, Alistair twisted the door handle with his magic and pushed the door open. After that, he stepped in and Spectre stepped in after him. Spectre observed the playroom for a while and saw that it is also very big just like his bedroom. The mat on the floor is multicolored, there was a large box in front of him with toys in it, there is a round ceiling light on the roof, there is a large bookshelf on the left with more books. There was a large window with curtains on his left. And in front of him was a large table with two jars filled with candies and cookies. "Wow, this is a nice place you have." Spectre said. He was totally transfixed. "Thank you." Alistair said as he placed the bowl of grapes next to him. "Anyways, shall we begin the interrogation?" He asked. "Sure." "Great, please take a seat." Then, Spectre sat down on the soft mat along with Alistair. Alistair then pulled out a small notepad as well as a pencil with his magic, which caught Spectre off guard. After that, he picked up one grape with his hoof and ate it. "Alright first question, what kind of creature are you?" "A human." He replied simply. "Care to elaborate?" "Uh no, I don't like to disclose personal or classified things." He told him. "Understandable." Alistair said, then he wrote down the previous information on the notepad. After that, he moved onto the next question "What do you do?" "Why I'm a soldier." He replied, and that got Alistair nonplus. "So you basically fight for your nation like what the royal guards do?" When Spectre heard the words 'royal guards', he got perplexed. Maybe the ponies in armour were the Royal guards Alistair is talking about. "Royal guards? Are they the ones I fought in Ponyville?" Spectre asked himself in his mind. But, he shook the bewilderment out of his head and answered his inquiry "Yes kinda, but I mostly go on operations under the commands of a pharmaceutical company rather than defending my nation." He delineated. Alistair got very wooly by that statement, he works for a pharmaceutical company? And why in Equestria would a pharmaceutical company need soldiers. "Why would a pharmaceutical company need soldiers Spectre? "Don't pharmaceutical companies protect the health of the community?" He asked in a perplexed tone. "Yes they do." Spectre replied with a nod "But, for the one in my world, I basically protect my boss from hazards." He said. "And just want are these hazards?" When Spectre heard his query, he decided not to tell him because, these informations are classified. And he certainly cannot talk about his team who he couldn't get in contact with ever since his arrival in the land. "Can we move on to the next question please?" Spectre asked a politely as he could "I'm getting a little frustrated." He told him. "Oh okay sorry." Alistair apologized, then he moved onto the next question "Here's my next one, what are those metal thing that you carry around with you?" He asked. Spectre must assume that Alistair must be asking him about his guns. So, he pulled out his samurai edge pistol, and the shiny object attracted Alistair's attention. "This is what we call guns or firearms, they are lethal and hazardous weapons that fires out these projectiles called bullets out of the muzzle here." Spectre delineated as he pointed at the muzzle of the gun "It is fired when we pulled this trigger, and after that, the gun makes a loud noise and the bullet flies out of the muzzle at a high speed and once it hits someone, they will get injured or killed depending on the calibre." He finished. Alistair was drastically petrified of the information that Spectre delineated, who knows that a small object like that could do such damage and torment. "Oh my, and I assume that somepony would experience a trauma once they get hit by this bullet?" "Yep you are correct." Spectre replied with a nod. "Wow, that's very brutal." "Indeed it is kid." Spectre said with a chuckle "Any more questions?" He asked. "Yes." Alistair replied with a nod "And this is the last one actually." He told him. "Finally." "Okay last question, and I apologize if this sounds impudent or resentful to you." Alistair said "And my question is, why does your face look weird?" He asked. When Spectre heard his inquiry, he wasnt offended by it at all. In fact, he knows what he is asking about. He is asking about his goggle mask. And he himself also admitted that it is a bit weird back in his training Umbrella. "Oh you mean this?" Spectre asked as he pointed at his goggle mask "This is not my face actually, it's a mask." He corrected him. "Oh really?" Alistair asked with a nonplus expression, and Spectre replied with a nod "What does it do?" He asked again. "It has two features." He told him "One thermal imaging, the thermal imaging is used to detect heat signatures of nearby enemies, it is very practical when your in a tight situation like when an enemy is about to do a sneak attack on you. The second feature is the look through. The look through feature allows me to see what's behind walls and other solid objects, it can also be used for enemy detections and many more." He explained. Alistair was truly flabbergasted by Spectre's statement, his kind must have some strong technologies. After writing down the details on the small notepad for a brief moment. He looked at how many pages he used, and when he did, he noticed that he has used seven pages. So, he has decided to end the interrogation here. "That should be all." Alistair said as he placed the notepad and the pencil on a nearby table with his magic "Thank you for all of that fascinating information you have given me Spectre." He said with a smile. "Your welcome." Then, Alistair's eyes widened because, he forgot to ask him one more thing. "Oh! Forgot to ask you one more thing Spectre!" Alistair exclaimed. "And that is?" "Where are you from?" Spectre was a bit uncertain about this question because, if he says that he is from Earth, he might provoke Alistair to panic because, he might see him as an alien. "Okay I will tell you but, promise not to freak out?" "I won't." "Okay, well you see, I am not from here." Spectre told him, and that got Alistair very nonplus "I am from a planet called Earth." He told him. That statement truly got Alistair caught of guard ultimately, and he is now currently very interested by this planet that he is from. He was about ask him some inquiries about the planet of his but suddenly, a loud noise of the door opening stopped him. Alistair and Spectre both looked to the door and saw Twilight Velvet who is Alistair's grandmother, but to Spectre, it was a grey coloured unicorn with purple hair. "Hello! Alistair!" Velvet exclaimed with an exhilarated expression "Your grandmommy has arrived to keep you entertained while your parents are go-" Velvet immediately stopped in her sentence when she took noticed of a black coloured creature with binocular eyes in front of her. A perturbed expression has appeared on her muzzle and she began to tremble in fear. When Alistair noticed this, he tried to talk her out of it. "Um... hello grandmommy, this is not what you think it is-" Alistair wasn't able to finish his sentence when his grandmother fainted and fell on the floor with a thud. And the sight and the awkward moment got Spectre bewildered. "Was it my appearance?" Spectre asked Alistair in a perplexed tone. Everfree forest 2:00pm In the Everfree forest, many animals were seen sprinting away to find somewhere to hide in the forest because, there were some unknown and scary creatures that were far more intimidating than the manticores lurking in there with them. Many of the animals ran into caves and some hid in the bushes. In the bushes, few of the animals peeked out cautiously to see if the mysterious and scary creatures were still there. And they got there answers when a small drop of saliva hit their heads. The animals looked up and saw the scary red coloured creature on a tree branch with its long tongue out. The animals panicked and ran away. But, one of the animals couldn't make it out in time when the creature's tongue grabbed him and pulled him into it's mouth. The animal tried to struggle free but it was no use. The creature has pulled him into it's mouth and ate her, and blood crippled put of its jaws. The sight has scandalized many animals in their hiding places. The transformed changeling then crawled down the tree with two more right next to him. They both stuck their tongue out to find their objective area. After five seconds, the creature's got a scent. And it was the scent of ponies in Ponyville. And their main objective is to slaughter and maim as many ponies as they can by the orders of Queen Chrysalis. So, the three transformed changelings all scratched the ground which left some large claw marks on the dirt. And ran to Ponyville in a hasty speed. Spectre then slowly poked his head up and scanned the area with his goggle mask to see if the area was occupied. And when he did, he saw nothing. "Huh, well this is surprising." Spectre said with a nonplus expression. "What is it Spectre?" Alistair asked with a raise of his eyebrow. "No bioweapons are here." Spectre told him. Alistair was going to ask him a question but, Spectre immediately changed the subject "Ah whatever, let's go in." He said. Alistair nodded and he and Spectre both walked out of their hiding places. Then, they both ran into Canterlot. Once they got in, Spectre and Alistair were both sneaking around the area while aiming their guns around checking to see if there are any bioweapons around them. "That's funny, there are none here." Alistair said with a bewildered expression. "Yeah I know." Spectre said as perplexed as Alistair is "But, keep your guards up, they could pounce or appear at us from anywhere." Spectre warned. "Got it." While they were walking through the town, Alistair was very familiar with this area, he knows where they are right now. "Hang on, I think I know this place." Alistair murmured. Five seconds later, his eyes widened because, he does recognize this place "Oh, I know this area." He said. "You do?" "Yes, this is where I was with my parents on the carriage." Alistair replied with a nod "If we take a right from here, we will reach the castle." He said. "Then lead the way buddy." "Okay." Then, Alistair started to run forward and guide Spectre to Canterlot castle where they will save everypony. But, just as they passed a house, Spectre saw a long stain of blood on the ground. "Huh? Where did this come from?" Spectre asked with a perplexed expression. He has never seen this stain of blood before when he was escaping with Alistair, he then looked at his right to where the stain of blood was pointing at, and when he did, he noticed that it lead to a pink coloured door, he also heard some noises behind it. Spectre then slowly approached the door to see what was happening. Once he got to it, he pressed his right ear onto it to hear what was behind it. But suddenly, something pounced at the door. The kinetic force of it made the door fall and collapse on top of Spectre. And a transformed changeling was seen on top of the door trying to eat Spectre. "Ah! Get off me you loathsome creature!" Spectre exclaimed, but the changeling continued to attempt to devour him. Alistair turned around from the source of the loud noise, and when he did, he saw Spectre on the ground with a door on top of him as well as a transformed changeling trying to eat him through the glass door. "Oh no! Spectre I'll save you!" Alistair exclaimed as he aimed the samurai edge pistol forward. He steadied his aim and fired three shots at the transformed changeling. *BANG! BANG! BANG!* The changeling let out a screech of agony when two bullets collided at the side of his torso, but when one made contact with his head, he was sent flying off the door and next to Spectre. After the changeling has been taken care of, Spectre pushed his arms upward and pushed the door off of him, then he let out a sigh. "Spectre are you okay?" Alistair asked as he walked up to him. "I'm okay kid." Spectre told him in a assuring tone "Man, can't let your guard down for just a second." He added as he got up. "We should probably keep going." Alistair told him "Who knows if there are more of those evolved changelings here." He said. "Agreed." But, before they could advance forward once more, Alistair and Spectre both picked up the sounds of crawling coming towards them. Both of them averted their eyes forward and saw six changelings in front of them growling in a ravenous way with blood stained teeth. "Oh sweet Celestia." Alistair said in an anxious tone. Then, the changelings all bellowed a tumoltuous screech and charged towards them. "Engage!" Spectre exclaimed. Spectre then pointed his assault rifle and shot at the first changeling's head. *BANG!* The changeling instantly fell on the ground dead when the bullet collided in his head. The second changeling attempted to grab Spectre with his tongue, but, Spectre simply just shot him in the head and the changeling got killed. The third changeling stomped on the ground with its claws and bellowed an angry roar. Then, it pounced towards Spectre. When Spectre noticed this, he swung his arms back to his left and smacked the changeling in the face with his rifle, and when the hit made contact with its face, the changeling was sent crashing into a house wall roughly leaving some blood marks on it in the process. Then, the changeling fell on the ground, killed from the impact. The fourth changeling was charging towards Alistair in a hasty speed. And when Alistair noticed this, he aimed his pistol forward and fired three shots at it. *BANG! BANG! BANG!* Two bullets made contact with the changeling's torso, and one made contact with its face. Then, the changeling fell on the ground bleeding from its head. The fifth changeling did what the fourth changeling did before, it charged up towards him with its right claw swung back preparing to slash him. When Alistair noticed this, aimed his gun forward again and fired three shots at it. Three three bullets all collided in the changeling's face and he was sent knocking backwards on the ground, then it died. The final changeling was infuriated when he saw his fallen comrades. It then bellowed a screech and crawled towards Alistair. When Alistair noticed this, he aimed his gun forward again and tried to shoot it. But suddenly, no shots were fired. He heard some clicking noises instead. *Click click* "Huh? What happened?" Alistair asked with a perplexed expression as he looked down at his pistol. But then, he saw the changeling closing in on him. It then pounced towards him and attempted to slash him with its sharp and petrifying claws. "Whoa!" Alistair yelled as he teleported out of its way. The unexpected move made the changeling fall face first on the ground. The changeling then immediately stood up and turned around and saw Alistair again. It then bellowed another angry roar. But before it could even charged towards him, Spectre shot it in the face with hos assault rifle. And he got killed in the spot. After the intense battle with the ferocious changelings, Spectre reloaded his assault rifle and stuck another magazine well. Then, he pulled the charging handle back. "Wow, that was deranged." Alistair commented while catching his breaths. "Indeed it was. I have encountered scarier fights before during my operations back in my world." Spectre told him. After that, he reached into his ammo pocket and pulled out another ammo clip. "Here you go buddy." Spectre said as he tossed the ammo clip to him. Alistair caught the ammo clip with his magic. Then, he started to reload the gun. "Alright, so I just have to press this magazine release button." Alistair said memorizing the instructions Spectre taught him about the gun. Once he pressed it, the empty magazine fell out of the magazine well. After that, Alistair tucked the magazine into the pistol and pulled the slide back. "There, weapon reloaded." He said. "Good." Spectre said "Now let's proceed." He told him. "Okay, follow me." Then, Alistair started to guide Spectre to Canterlot castle again. Twenty seconds later, Alistair and Spectre made a right turn. And when they did, in front of them was Canterlot castle. "There it is, Canterlot castle!" Alistair exclaimed. "Lets go then, it's time to kick some bioweapon butts." Spectre said in a self-assured tone. "Yeah." Alistair said nonchalantly. Then, Alistair and Spectre started to walk to Canterlot to save everypony there as well as defeating Chrysalis. But, after walking for ten seconds, Alistair and Spectre both heard some noises behind them. "What was that?" Alistair and Spectre both turned around and saw ten changelings in front them growling viciously and hungrily at them with blood stained teeth. "Oh no." Alistair said anxiously. Then, the changelings bellowed a loud screech. "RUN!" Spectre yelled. Then, Spectre and Alistair both turned around and took off, and the mutated changelings chased them. Spectre reached into his back pocket and pulled out a smoke grenade. He looked back at the bioweapons behind him for a second then back at the smoke grenade in his hand. Then, a plan has been formulated in his head. "Alistair." Spectre called him. "Yes?" Alistair asked looking up at him. "Grab a green coloured grenade from my pocket!" Spectre told him. "What? Which pocket?" "My back pocket!" He replied. Alistair was perplexed at first, but he did what he told him to do and ran behind him. Then, he started to search his pockets, but he noticed that he has ten back pockets. "Spectre, you have ten back pockets!" Alistair told him. "The back pocket near my left butt cheek!" He exclaimed. "My left butt cheek!" He repeated. Alistair nodded and pulled the zipper of Spectre's back pocket on his left butt cheek. Then, he looked down at it and saw a green canister in it which was probably the grenade he was talking about. So, he took the grenade from his pocket. "Alright, what do you want me to do with this canister?" Alistair asked with a bewildered expression. "Here's the plan, I will throw my smoke grenade on the ground near those repulsive things and blind them. After that, you will throw the explosive grenade through the smoke near them and blow them up!" Spectre delineated "Understood?" He asked. "Yes Spectre." "Good!" Spectre said "Pull the pin on the grenade first then throw, that way it will explode!" He instructed. "Okay!" Then, Spectre turned around and pulled the pin of his smoke grenade. After that, he threw it forward and the grenade fell on the floor near them releasing some smoke in the process. And the smoke has blinded the changelings, stopping them in their tracks. "Now Alistair!" Alistair nodded and pulled the pin on the hand grenade just like how Spectre instructed him. Then, he swung the grenade back with his magic and threw it forward. The grenade flew in the air for a brief moment then on the ground in the smoke. Five seconds later, an explosion was heard. *BOOM!* "Whoa!" Alistair exclaimed, he has never seen such weapons of mass destruction. Ten seconds later, the smoke from the smoke grenade and hand grenade have cleared away and Alistair and Spectre saw the ten mutated changelings on the ground dead in front of them with burnt marks all over their bodies. "That was cool." Alistair said with a flabbergasted expression. "Indeed it was kid." Spectre agreed with a nod "Now, let's continue." He said. "Agreed." Alistair said with a nod "Its time to defeat Chrysalis and rescue my subjects." He said. After that, Alistair and Spectre all walked towards the front gates of Canterlot castle. In Canterlot castle, Queen Chrysalis was seen relaxing on the roof of the castle while looking down at King Thorax, Princess Celestia, Luna, The mane six, Spike and many other ponies and changelings held in cocoons. "Mwahahahaha! I have succeeded! I am now the ruler of Canterlot!" Chrysalis exclaimed dastardly. But, her laugh has came to conclusion when she heard a voice. "I don't think so Chrysalis." When Chrysalis heard the intimate voice, she looked down and saw Prince Alistair and Spectre underneath here. "You two." Chrysalis growled viciously. "Stop this right now Chrysalis." Alistair demanded. "Fat chance." Spectre was going to ask the queen an inquiry but before he could, she talked to him. "You must be Spectre right?" Spectre was shocked when he heard the creature saying his name. "How do you know my name?" "Do you really want to know?" Chrysalis asked. "Answer me now!" Spectre exclaimed. "Gosh don't have to be greedy." Chrysalis said with a roll of her eyes "You see here's the full story, after my miserable defeat in Canterlot last month by King Thorax, Queen Twilight and Alistair, I retreated back to my cave with some of my changelings. We then began to formulate a plan, of course I couldn't just attack again, that would be temerarious. So, I used a multiverse book I stole from Princess Celestia. I then casted a spell and looked at your world and saw you and your squad battling against monsters of unimaginable power created by your human scientists. And I see that you are talented. So, I casted a spell to transport you here before your inevitable doom. But unfortunately, I only got your virus sample, not you." She delineated the entire story. Spectre was truly scandalized when he heard the story. She was the one who transported him here? Then, Alistair stomped on the ground in anger. "Why you barbaric moron! You're going to pay for all of this!" Alistair exclaimed. Chrysalis let out a chuckle and said "Bring it on then junior." Then, tentacles appeared out of the bottom of Chrysalis as well as some long tongues. After that, Chrysalis bellowed a screech. "Monsters." Spectre said with a roll of his eyes behind his mask "I have seen worse before." He added. Author's Note Another chapter accomplished! The middle of the town also seemed very empty because no ponies and changelings were seen there. The reason behind that is because all of them were stationed at the front of Canterlot castle. All of them were in formal black suits including some youngs. There was a stage in front of them with a microphone in front. Then, ten seconds later Prince Alistair walked up to the stage and stood in front of the microphone an looked down at all of his subjects. "Greetings my fellow subjects." Alistair greeted in a low tone through the mic "We have experienced a cataclysmic week, many changelings including Chrysalis invaded us all, and they have seemed to be mutated by a strange phenomenon of my friend Spectre's." He said. "What happened next?" A mare in the crowd asked. "In the end, me and Spectre had fought relentlessly against Chrysalis and her mutated force..." Alistair stated, then tears started to form in his eyes "My friend Spectre then sacrificed himself in order to kill the mutated Chrysalis as well as allowing me to save you all..." He finished. Then, Alistair bursted into tears. When everypony heard this, tears started to form in their eyes as well. The hero that saved them all has sacrificed his own life to save them all even though they had a petrifying meeting as well as a conflict with him. When Twilight took notice of her son's crying, she wrapped her wings around him and brought him to the back of the stage to comfort him. Then, Thorax took his son's place and started to talk. "And for his heroic sacrifise, we will honor his memory with this." Thorax said, and on cue, two pony and changeling guards pulled down a large curtain which revealed a large statue of Spectre. His samurai edge pistol was placed near it as well. "My subjects, let's all honor his sacrifice." He said. Then, changeling and pony guards blew trumpets and the ponies and changelings walked to the statue and started to pay their respects for Spectre. They all placed flowers near the statue and many more. Five minutes later, everypony was finished paying their respects for the hero. Then, it was Alistair's turn. He walked up to the statue and placed a pack of flower as well as the notepad which he used to question him in his room. After that, Alistair looked up at the statue once more. "Thank you Spectre, you are a great friend." Alistair said with a warm smile "You will always be in my memory and your sacrifice will be remembered." He added in a warm tone. "Mister Spectre, thank you so much for protecting my son and my subjects." Twilight said as tears formed in her eyes. "You are a great hero Spectre, we will always remember you." Thorax stated with a warm smile as he hugged his wife and son. Then, everypony including the mane five, Princess Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Shining Armor all bowed their heads to pay their final respects to Spectre. He is indeed a hero to be remembered.
