BlazBlue: Equestrian Shift
Ragna was bleeding more than when he confronted Nu. He had several wounds, was panting heavily and could barely stand.
"Why Ragna? I could finally touch you, talk to you and you said such terrible things. Now, all I can do is make us whole again. Back to the way it was before...." Nu said sadly as she charged at Ragna. Ragna had no time to react and was tackled into the Cauldron. Ragna couldn't do anything about it now. All he could do was accept his fate. He closed his eyes and recounted his life. His childhood sucked, he knew that. He met a lot of people on the way, some more annoying than others, but he lived with it nonetheless.
His brother was a demented asshole who wanted to kill him.
Terumi was a total dick to begin with.
That masked freak wanted to kill him because he was the Black Beast.
Taokaka was annoying, but in the good way. Whenever Tao was around, Ragna was always in a good mood.
Rachel was a real bitch. She often toyed with him for fun.
Noel was incredibly shy, which Ragna really couldn't understand.
Jubei was his master, and a damn good one too.
Arakune was just weird.
Bang never stopped talking.
Tager was nice enough, but he worked for Kokonoe, so that made him an inherent dick.
All this, Ragna recalled as he fell into the Cauldron.
"Ragna!" Noel called out as she dove into the Cauldron to help Ragna, only for her to have the same fate as the two halves of the Black Beast.
Ragna expected the painful morphing of his limbs into those of the Black Beast. Instead, he felt the gentle caress of the wind on his face. Confused by this, he slowly opened his eyes, only for him to close them again due to the pain of sunlight hitting his eyes. Sunlight? He rolled onto his belly and opened his eyes to look at the ground. He saw grass and smelled the fresh morning dew on it and he stood up, only to fall back down.
"The hell?" Ragna said as he sat up and looked at his hands. Or at least, what were his hands. They were hooves. He began to panic as he looked over himself. He was a tan color and he had a silver mane, along with his jacket. In his situation, he could only shout into the sky, three choice words.
"WHAT THE FUCK!?" Ragna shouted to the sky, causing the two ponies next to him to wake up. One had a blue coat, a familiar blue jumpsuit, a silver mane and a familiar black and red eye patch that it wore under a horn in the middle of its head. The other one was a tan color. It had the NOL uniform, a blonde mane and what looked like wings on its sides. They pretty much had the same reactions when they found out they were ponies. When they calmed down, Nu realized Ragna was a pony. She squealed with delight as she ran to Ragna and bear hugged him.
"Ragna! You are so cute!" Nu fangirled at the sight of Ragna as a pony. Ragna tried to resist, but Nu was way too strong.
Noel's eyes grew wide and she did the same as Nu. She was saying something about him looking like a character from her favorite show. Ragna tried to speak, having much more success than trying to get Nu off.
"Please..... Let..... Go...." Ragna wheezed under the pressure of two fangirls. Nu let go first.
"Oops! Sorry Ragna!" Nu said. Noel took a bit longer until she realized what she was doing.
"Aah! I'm sorry!" Noel said as she let go, causing Ragna to drop to the ground and gasp for breath.
"What the hell happened?" Ragna said as he sat up, finally getting the air into his lungs.
"I think we're in the Boundary." Noel said.
"Nope. We're not in the Boundary!" Nu said happily.
"Then where the hell are we?" Ragna asked.
"I don't know, but I can tell I'm gonna love it here!" Nu said with a huge grin on her face. Ragna ignored this and asked another question.
"What the hell is up with our bodies!?" Ragna was seriously freaking out. Which was understandable. He was in an unknown place, with people he never really got along with and the body from a show he used to watch with Taokaka.
"We're ponies!" Noel answered with glee. She could barely contain her joy. She had the body of a pony! She didn't have to worry about being flat anymore and maybe she could meet the Mane 6. She squealed with uncontrolled happiness before Ragna could answer.
"Uh, yeah... So anyone know what we should do now?" Ragna asked. Nu shook her head. Noel giggled and voiced her solution.
"We could go to Ponyville!" Noel said. Ragna put on a confused look and spoke.
"Go where?" Noel could understand why Ragna didn't know about Ponyville. Being an SS-class criminal really didn't afford him much time to watch ponies, so she just ignored him and looked around for the town of her dreams. Sure enough, she saw it resting on the horizon.
"There it is!" Noel shouted with glee as she pointed her hoof to the town in the distance. They followed her hoof and saw the small town. Seeing no better solution, they decided to do what she said and walked to the town.
Princess Celestia finished raising the sun a couple of minutes ago, when she felt a sharp pain at the base of her horn. She closed her eyes from the pain and rubbed the base of her horn but, as soon as it came, it left. She was very confused as to why something like that would happen. In all her years of experience, she never had anything like that happen to her. She decided that this would be a matter that could wait till later and she resumed her day.
Ragna, Nu and Noel got up and Ragna realized something.
"Hey, where's my sword?" Ragna asked as he looked around. He looked behind the two and saw his massive blade stuck in the ground. It wasn't as big as before, but it was resized for him. It was now nearly four feet long. He sighed in relief as he removed the sword from the ground and strapped it onto his back. The others also wanted to know what happened to their weapons, so they summoned them. Noel summoned her twin pistols, Bolverk, but they seemed a little smaller. Relieved, she dispelled Bolverk. Nu summoned her massive sword, Murakumo, and shifted it into her armor and blades. She was relieved that she could enter battle mode at will and her swords still floated around her. Her swords still retained that wing formation on her back. Satisfied, she reformed Murakumo and they made their way to Ponyville.
After a few minutes of walking, Ragna decided to break the uncomfortable silence between them.
"Hey, I was wondering. Why haven't either of you tried to kill me yet?" This could have gotten Ragna killed, but he asked anyway. Why? Because he's Ragna, of course! Nu just sighed.
"Ragna, your fight's over! All of our fights are over! We're no longer under the influence of Takamagahara! Didn't you feel it? Try to sense the seithr around you." Nu said. Ragna did as he was told and tried to sense the seithr around him, only to find none. There was no seithr anywhere.
"But, we were trying to kill each other just a while ago!" Ragna really didn't want his fight to end. For one, he still wanted to strangle Terumi. He could think of many other ways to kill Terumi, but for simplicity's sake, It will be left at that. Nu knew why Ragna was acting like this and sighed.
"Ragna, I need to tell you something. Terumi can't exist without you! Without your hatred to sustain him, he can't exist and will return to the Boundary. You just saved everyone from what he has done!" Nu reassured him. Ragna just huffed.
"That doesn't change what he's done." Nu sighed yet again.
"Okay, let me rephrase that. Terumi will cease to exist and he will be erased from history. It will be as though he never existed. The Six Heroes will be complete, minus him, your sister would have never been taken, your brother didn't turn out like that, and you never turned into a criminal! You lived with your brother and sister!" Ragna was stunned. Terumi never existed! It was sort of his fault that Terumi did all that stuff, bu he didn't care anymore.
"What about my life with my sister?" Ragna asked.
"Well, she was taken, but she managed to escape and you rescued her. As far a Takamagahara knows, you're dead." Nu said.
"I'm..... dead?" Ragna asked. Nu nodded.
"You died saving your sister from the NOL. Your brother grieved your death, but didn't take it as badly as I imagined." Before Nu could continue, they had reached the town and Noel piped up.
"Okay guys, replace all words that end with one, with pony as a suffix. Man is stallion, woman is mare, boy is colt and girl is filly. Oh yeah! God is Celesia! (trolololololol). The others understood and they continued their walk into town.
