Canterlot High is no stranger to all things magical and or world threatening. Thankfully, they have seven young women who know how to handle such dangers and possess the tools to counter them. Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash are the heroines of their school and most of Canterlot City. But, they aren't the only wielders of arcane prowess. They aren't the only beings in the region to habitually save the day. And, they aren't the only ones in danger of magic hunters, hoping to steal their skills in sorcerery… or kill them should they refuse to oblige.

Far to the west of Canterlot, nestled in a woods of dense foliage and technologically superior defenses lies The Imperial Academy. Two worlds of magic will collide; they will either survive together- or die together.
