Dragonbourne

It was the middle of the day, and Spike was the first to wake up. His present from Rarity that he received yesterday was the best, and he wasn't going to forget it anytime soon. He really hated this lifestyle....having to get up, and find a stupid gem, having to stay away from his friend's, and his life just so he could keep away from his enemies. He just wanted to be with the two mare's he loved the most. Spike seemed to question if he would ever be free.....would he be himself, and walk around without having to be shunned, or looked at funny without other's judging about what they heard?

Spike really couldn't let all of the negative thought's cloud his mind....the only thing he could do....was hope. Spike looked over to the nude Rarity who groaned softly, and turned on her side. Spike only smiled, as he turned over, and nuzzled her body softly. He made sure to plant a soft kiss on her cheek, as he also had to nudge her gently.....causing her to wake up. "Mmmm....Spikey...we have to get up already....when will the day come when we can sleep in" She groaned, as Spike smiled.

"When I am free from our enemies, and we don't have to hide anymore" Spike told her, as Rarity let out a deep sigh, getting up.

"Even though I've gotten so use to this life, I'm also kind of waiting for the day when life can get back to some form of normal" Rarity explained, as Spike chuckled.

"Good luck with that, let's guess washed up.....also Rare's you were amazing yesterday" Spike whispered to her, giving the mare a quick smooch on the cheek.

"Mmmm....so were you big boy, and I have many other idea's in the future" She cooed softly, hearing Spike chuckle.

"Can't wait" He said to her from afar, as they got cleaned off. Chrysalis also managed to also clean herself off, and put the magic mirror she used to watch them away before the three of them continued with their adventure. Rarity had put her outfit on, like she alway's did on these travel's.

Back in the realm of Demon Dragon's, The Demon Lord himself was sitting on his throne impatiently, as all of the other Demon Dragon's were confused of not seeing the arrival of Moltar. "I don't get it....that idiot should have been here hour's ago with the Dragonbourne's head on a silver platter.....Master, is it possible that Motlar died killing the Dragonbourne?" One of his guard's suggested, as the Demon Lord growled.

"It's time to see if that half-breed is still alive.....I must.....see" The Demon Lord growled chillingly, as he closed his two normal eyes, and let his gigantic third one look around, using every concentration to find his enemy. He soon sensed the Dragonbourne energy that belonged to the half-breed, and eventually the complete vanish of Moltar's energy, as his normal to eyes popped open, and let his third one rest. The Demon Lord opened his eye's, and let out a furious roar, as he slammed hiss scepter onto his throne room floor, shaking the realm.

"MOLTAR.....HAS BEEN SLAIN, BY THE DRAGONBOURNE......Guard's.....FETCH MY LAST TWO POWERFUL GENERAL'S.....AWAKEN THE FIRST, and send him to the deed.....MESSENGER!!!!!!!" He shouted, as a very small demon dragon waddled in, while the guard's left.

"Yes....my liege?" The runt asked, as the dark lord pointed his scepter, at his opponent.

"If my final General is slain....call for the 7 Fang's, and they shall be the one's who will end the Dragonbourne" The Demon Lord ordered, as the messenger hastily bowed.

"Yes master" He told him, before running out of the throne room, as the two member's of the 7 Fang's that were a part of the demise of Spike's parent's who not only heard, but watched one Demon Dragon General after another come in, as one of them scoffed.

"It might finally come down to us....I will gut the runt, like I did his mother" The familiar demon dragon spoke, as The Demon Lord huffed.

"We shall see my elite....we shall see" The Demon Lord snarled, waiting for his General's to be able to kill The Dragonbourne.

Even though they had left for it, from a few certain day's ago.....Spike, Rarity, and Chrysalis never thought that they would return near the second Hippogriff city where Spike, and Rarity had their first date. Rarity's gem did not lie....the next Dragonbourne gem was there, the only difference being it was buried at the bottom of the ocean. Spike had to be the decent swimmer he was, as he dove down deep into the ocean depth's. He used his sword to guide him near the darkest depth's of Equestria's ocean, until he finally found the alter that held the gem.

This one was similar to the first one he had gotten, but instead of it being a white diamond....this gem was a blue sapphire.
Spike had to really dive deep down....fighting the powerful tidal current's, and also giving the taste of his blade to some oceanic predator's who were foolish enough to take on The Dragonbourne. Spike finally came out of the water's with the gem intact, as he looked at the mare's. "Now to finally apply the gem to you" Rarity smiled, as Spike was about to agre with her, until the sound of a cannon being fired was heard.

Spike kept the gem, and dove behind cover, as the beach took a hit from the cannon. Spike growled, and looked up, seeing an indigo colored pirate ship, firing it's cannon's at him. Spike snarled, while having the gem in his hand's. "GRRRRR.....they must want the gem....Rarity, swiftly, put it in my body, I need my next evolution.....NOW!!!!!!!" Spike snapped, as Rarity didn't hesitate, and climbed on his back, and prepared to get him into the fight.

"I won't let you down master...I'll keep you distracted!" Chrysalis snarled, as she pulled out a Changeling sword, made by her magic, as she got out of cover. "I'll make sure that they won't cheat against you.....KYAAAAAHHHH" Chrysalis shouted, as she fired an energy bolt of Changeling magic at the ship, as the energy slammed into a cannonball. A huge explosion was created, as Chrysalis was knocked back. The Changeling Queen hissed loudly, as she bared her fang's at her enemy. Rarity immidietly got Spike on the ground, and got on his back, trying to apply the gem into him.

Spike shuddered, feeling the gem being injected to his body, as Rarity began trying to figre the puzzle out to get the symbol to the number 9. Chrysalis was doing her best to hold up against the pirate ship, suprised that no pirates were getting off the ship, and charging at her with their attack's. They were only using their cannon's mounted on the ship, as Chrysalis did her best to hold them off......each attack of her magic was matching the cannonball's blow by blow. Finally Rarity was able to translate the symbol, as Spike's body began to mutate again excepting the new power.

Spike flew out of his hiding spot, and landed in front of Chrysalis.....his attention turning toward the ship. The pirate ship fired it's cannonball, as Spike brought up, a new white, and black gladiator shield that took the hit with Spike's strength helping him resist a deadly blast. Chrysalis dodged outward, as she fired a shot at the ship. "SWITCH....ALL YOUR'S MASTER!!!!!!" Chrysalis shouted, as she dove for cover now that her master was able to fight farely. When Chrysalis's magical energy wave hit the pirate ship, the ship itself began to shake, while causing other tremor's.

A huge Demon Dragon General which had beem awakened from it's slumber to find, and kill the Dragonbourne....was now towering at it's full height with the Pirate ship attached to it's back. Spike roared at the demon dragon who let out a big snarl of his own, firing every single cannon from his pirate ship back. "RAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Spike shouted, as he launched a huge energy wave from his sword, destroying all the cannonball's that were shot at him. The demon dragon fired steaming hot water from its mouth which created a cross between a waterspout, and a tornado.

Spike got sucked into the vortex, and was thrown back from the attack, but not before he got out his Storm Bow, and fires a lightning tornado which cancelled the demon dragon's attack. Spike slammed into a huge nearby rock formation, as he growled painfully from the new bruises, and cut's on his body. Spike mananged to get back up, as the demon dragon fired it's Black Hole attack against his opponent. Spike quickly switched to his Rune Prison bow, turning the Black Hole nearby into a portal of his choosing, while also saving Rarity, and Chrysalis's life.

Many of the dragon skull's began to fly toward the Demon Dragon General who used his giant claw's to take out the skull's flooding out the portal. Spike looked at his shield, and realized it came with another power. His shield popped out huge black spike's, as it shifted into a circular, metal disk. Spike threw it,nas hard as he could, shredding the entire pirate ship shell off the demon dragon's back. The demon dragon howled in pain, as Spike saw the soft scale that the ship protected.

Spike new his next move, as he immedietly charged forward. The Demon Dragon General went all out with what it had left, as it fired attack, after attack against his opponent. Aftef Spike got his new shield back....he managed to dodge each attack, while preparing to unleash one himself. This time he switched to his powerful Scarlett armor, as he fired a powerful bright blue firebreath that made the Demon Dragon General roar in pain.

Spike was far from done, as he charged up his Stinger with his lightning, and fired it at The Demon Dragon General. The weapon went through the mouth of The Demon Dragon General, and out through it's body, causing it to explode near the shore, and in the water. Spike acted fast, firing the Storm bow, as the tornado it created, sucked the corpse, and contaminated water's into the tornado, and dropped all of those onshore, before dissapating. Much to Spike's suprise he had come out undamaged from this battle, but Spike had a hunch that an even more powerful Demon Dragon General would one day arrive in an attempt to take his life.

"So.....my Dark Pearl Demon Dragon General failed it's attempt to destroy the Dragonbourne, even when he attempted to get the gem....no matter, I will kill the Dragonbourne one way, or the other....hopefully the guard's will return with my last Demon Dragon General.....and hopefully...he will succeed" The Demon Lord snarled, with all that he could do currently, was sit, and wait.
