A plague is spreading across Equestria. The symptoms are undocumented and nopony knows how it can be quelled. Meanwhile, an incredible discovery is made on a small island east of Equestria: Stones that can store Magical energy, and release it far faster than Unicorn Horns can. Could these be the answer to ending the plague, or will it cause more division among ponies than it's worth?

This story was originally based on the common fanfic concepts of the New Lunar Republic and the Solar Empire, but none of the existing stories (that I came across) suited my idea of the division, so I wrote my own.

I have the entire plot mapped out extensively, so you shouldn't have to worry about me giving up on it. I promis you, the end will be pretty awesome.

This is going to be around 20 chapters long, each about as long as this prologue (2000 words or so). I add a chapter nearly ever weekday.
