Ruby and Red are sitting at s table in a police station as a woman with blond hair some oval glasses wearing black white and purple scolds them both.

"Do you have any idea how reckless you both were out there you put innocents in danger they could have been hurt not to mention the rather unorthodox method your friend here was trying to pull in order to track down the thief Roman tourchwick miss Ruby Rose."

The woman's name is Glynda Goodwitch
headmistress and teacher at beacon academy.

If it was upto me I'd have sent you home with a pat on the back and a slap on the wrist miss Rose as for your friend I'm pretty sure he would have been sent back to Menagerie for being willing to let a store be robbed and not interfere but it seems someone wants to talk to you both."

A man with grey hear small glasses and wearing green carrying a cane walks into the room and Red smirks as the man speaks.

"You have silver eye's."

Afterwards he sits down and Red speaks up in a carefree joking manner.

"Hey Ozzy long time no see how's beacon going and I'm guessing it's my sister you want to talk to right about how she learned to fight with a scyth so well I will give you one guess he's dusty and old."

Ruby elbows red in the side hard before speaking.

"Forgive my older brother here he has little tact at times but yes the person who taught me was my uncle Qrow Mr Ozpin though I am curious how do you both know each other?"

"That's quite alright I've had time to get used to Redsopine's sense of humour and straight to business nature Qrow brought him to see me a few years ago as we was trying to find his parents we even had help from the white fang at that time before leadership changed hands and they decided they wanted nothing to do with humans."

Ozpin smiles and places a plate of cookies in front of them both.

"So if Qrow taught you how to fight with a scyth I take it you want to become a huntress and I'm guessing red wants to be a hunter then?"

"Well yes I mean our older sisters going to beacon this year and I have two years of training left before I can apply to beacon and I always wanted to help others so why not make a career out of it."

Ruby days before eating some of the cookies as red speaks.

"As for me technically I can't apply to beacon even though I have the skills capable to qualify for the school since I was kicked out of signal 3 years ago for knocking a kid that shoved Ruby out cold."

"U no trer."

Ruby says before swallowing the cookie she was chewing.

"You know there's more to it then that Red they was picking on and trying to hit you again for being a faunus and we'll trying to get a rise out of you by insulting about your parents but you was ignoring them but I had enough and grabbed one of there arms to make them stop so don't go making it sound like it was your fault."

"Hey they still shoved you down for getting involved and well if you have seen the footage of how the fight went you can imagine how badly I reacted to her being shoved down after that his parents complained about me being nothing but a wild animal and a danger to the students so to avoid a lawsuit for letting me attend I was kicked out and banned from learning at a combat school."

Red says sheepishly as he rubs his head before smirking.

"Jokes on them though I still learned how to fight just not at the school's and I've been to Menagerie before nice place a bit cramped even made a friend there so if your here Ozzy I take it you was thinking of inviting us both to your academy for official training?"

Plane on route to becon academy the next day

"Oh I can't believe my baby sister gets to go to beacon with me."

Yang says hugging Ruby and smiling.

"Oh it's nothing special to make a scene about what I'm surprised is that Red was allowed in as well."

"What can I say Ozzy knew I'd show up anyway until you was in your team to make sure your both ok besides I said as soon as ruby was on a team in beacon I'd stop being so over protective of her so it's a win win besides at least we're not grounded."

"Wait Red your telling me Professor Ozpin is letting you attend beacon?"

Yang asks confused before smiling even wider and hugging them both.

"Yup at least until they figure out what my overall skill level is and see if I still need formal training or not."

Suddenly a boy with blond hair rushes past them looking a bit ill.

"Ok you two have fun I'm going to see if I can help the kid not throw up last thing he wants it's getting known for that on his first day."

With that said Red walks over to the boy and shows him where the bathroom is before introducing himself when he came out.

"My name's Redsopine or just red what's your name kid?'

"It's Juan thanks for showing me where the bathroom was Red was it anyway nice to meet you so who are these two girls you was talking to?"

"That's Yang and Ruby and there my sister's though I get the feeling Ruby is feeling nervous and shy seeing as she's only 15 and going to Beacon but she earned it herself and I'm here to keep a eye on them both."

"Oh cool well I hope things go well for her and look at that were landing well here's hoping i see you around later Red."
