I was standing in front a farm called Sweet Apples Acres and it look like no one had lived there for a while, the house look abandoned, I could see that nothing was growing on the threes there and I could see three graves there. I had one question, what the hell happened here? I decided to head to the town to find an answer.

Ponyville look like a bloody ghost town. There wasn’t one soul in the street, I look into one of the house and I couldn’t see anyone. I didn’t hear anyone or smell them, it was creeping me out. But the worst part was that the houses was destroyed, there’s been a battle here. I even saw some bodies lying on the street, dead ponies. Whoever did this is sick in the head. It’s a little weird, me feel pity for dead ponies considering I just to be a killer myself.

Then I saw something that was out of place, it was a bloody caste just by towns border and the first thought that crossed my mind was that it didn’t shouldn’t be there at all. Had this town been bigger then yes but not this time, I just wanted to blow it up and I don’t know why. But maybe, I could get information there, if there was a castle there should be a ruler there. I started to walk towards the castle.

Once I got there I saw that the doors had been rip open which probably would be hard, they look pretty heavy. I decided to try and lift one of them, that was a mistake, they were bloody heavy. “Holly shit.” I’m not doing that again, I almost broke my back. I decided to head inside.

Once inside I could see a table and six chairs, the chair had six different mark on them, I am not mention what the marks real name. One had a balloon, a cloud with lilting rainbow? An apple, gem, butterfly and some kind of star. Something tells me who ever these ponies are, they are important. Then was the table which look like a map? I walk over to table and saw that it was indeed a map and if I had to guess, it was a map over Equestria. Who the hell has a table that was a map over a country? I couldn’t help but scratch my head in confusion, just who? Then I noticed that it was covert in dust, I ran my finger over the table and boy was it dusty, my entire finger was covert in dust. None have lived her in years.

Then I notice a book in one of the chairs, it was the one with the star, it was the diary of one Twilight Sparkle. Maybe this could give me information about what has happened here, I picked it up and started to read.

“Dear diary, today I meet a very handsome stallion and…” I’m not reading about her love life, that’s for sure. I decided to find one of the last entries in the book and I found one. “It was just another day in Equestria but that all changed,” Interesting. “a giant metal ship appeared above Canterlot.” A metal ship? Now that’s very interesting. “At first we all thought it would attack us, but it just hovered over the city and princess Celestia’s castle.” They have a Celestia here? That’s just great, I hope she isn’t as crazy as the one I meet. “For weeks, the ship just hovered over the capital and did nothing, Celestia and Luna tired multiple times to make contact but they got no answer.” That’s weird.

“Then one day a hatch open under the ship and many metal creature came out of it, it had a head like a monkey.” A Monkey? No, it can’t be him. “Then all off sudden the metal creature started to attack, they shot red beams from their hands and then they started to kill ponies. All the time the ship was hovering over Canterlot, they had been studying us, finding our weakness. Because when the guard tried to stop them with magic, the magic just bounced off the creatures, not even Celestia and Luna’s magic was powerless against them. I wanted to try and defat them myself but if the princess magic doesn’t work, then what can I do?” Whoever this guy is, he knows what he is doing, that’s for sure.

“it’s been one week since the attack and whoever is controlling the metal creatures has almost conquered the entire planet, we didn’t stand a chance, the other races didn’t stand a chance, no one did. I’m not sure if conquering the planet is he/she goal, considering he kidnap Celestia and Luna and I am pretty sure he’s after me and my magic, so have decided to go in hiding. I just wish my friends were her, but they have disappeared, probably capture by whoever is doing this. I hope whoever read this can save what’s left of this world.” And that’s it, there’s a date there but it’s pointless considering I come from a different time. I am pretty sure that I am in the future now.

I placed the book back and let out a sighed, wondering what the hell I am going to do now. Before I could figure out something, something flew past me. “What the…?” I turned around and I saw someone there.

“Who are you and what are you doing here?” That voice, Cobalt? I wanted to say something, but he threw an icicle at me which made me duck behind the table.

I look up over table and there was the black unicorn I used to know in the Crystal empire, but it’s not possible. “How the hell are you here Cobalt?” That got him to stop for a second.

“How do you know my name?” He said while throwing another icicle at me.

This was impossible, that could not be Cobalt. I was there when Celestia put the empire on ice, these has to be another version of him. Whoever he is, he has information I need, and I know how to get it.

Here goes nothing. “I know who you are Cobalt because you’re allergic to apples.” That got him to stop throwing icicles at me, so I leap out from the table and ran towards him as fast I could, I then hit him so hard that I knock him out. “Sorry about this,” I picked him up from the floor and placed him on my shoulder. “whoever you are.” I decided to find a chair to tie him up, he is heavy.

When I had found some rope and tied him up to a chair, I found a glass with water. “Time to wake up." I threw the water in his face, that got him to wake up. He was about to use his magic, but I pointed a knife in his face. “Don’t even try to use your magic, I know for a fact that a unicorn horn is the most sensitive part on a ponies body. So, if you don’t want to lose yours I suggest you don’t use your magic. Nod if you understand.” He nodded. “Good. Now, I’m going to ask you some question and if I don’t like them I am going to hurt you, got it?” He nodded again. “What the hell happened here?”

He raised an eye brown when I said that. “You don’t know? Where have you been for the past two years? An invasion, that’s what happened here.” I just gave him a confused look. “You really don’t know?” I just shook my head. “Great, now I have to explain it all.” He let out a sighed. “Two years ago, a giant metal ship appeared right over Canterlot, at first it just hover over the city. The two princess, Celestia and Luna tried to make contact, but nothing happened.” They have a Celestia here, that’s just great, I hope this one isn’t as crazy as mine was.

“For weeks it just hovered over the city until one day a hatched open up and metal monster was drop into the street below” Metal monster? “They started to kill everpony there.” I knew that part, I just read it, but I wanted to hear it from someone.

“Wait a minute.” He look at me. “I know that you are a crystal pony, so how the hell do you know all this?”

“A pony from Canterlot came to the Crystal empire and told princess Cadance,” Cadance? Who the hell is that. “other ponies from other cities told the same stories, how metal monsters kill ponies and destroyed buildings.” That explains what I saw on my way here. “When I heard what happened, I just ran because I knew that the Crystal Empire was next and I was right, the metal monsters came and started to kill every pony, the guards tried to stop them, but magic didn’t work, bow and arrow didn’t, nothing work. So, I ran.”

“You’re a coward.” He look up me with confusion? “You should have stay and fight.”

“If I have done that I have been dead to, I wasn’t about to give my life to a princess who isn’t the Crystal empire’s ruler.”

“What do you mean by that?”

“The only reason why Cadance became the ruler is because of Celestia, Cadance wasn’t born an alicorn she was just related to a ruler that died centuries ago, I never saw her as our ruler and I never will.” He said with a snarl.

I don’t know what to think about this Cobalt, he isn’t pony I knew that’s for sure. “Alright, what happened to Celestia and Luna?”

He shrugged his shoulders, he tried to. “I don’t know, I heard that they just disappeared, I don’t know what happened to the princess of friendship Twilight Sparkle and the protectors of Equestria, they even destroyed her school of friendship.”

The what? “Did you just say school of friendship?” He nodded. “As in they teach how friendship works.” He nodded again and I couldn’t help but laugh. “That might be the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my life.”

“Yeah, I agreed with you on that.”

I managed to get a hold of myself, time to ask other questions. “How have you managed to survive in this castle for so long?”

“I arrived her about two weeks after the invasion, Twilight had already left and I found some food here which lasted a few days, I found food in the other houses in this town and eventually I had to grow my own food.” So, he is a survivor. I can respect that, we have to survive one way or the other.

“Are you sure that Celestia and Luna just disappeared?” He didn’t give a straight answer, so I decided to ask again.

“Apparently they tried to defend off the metal monsters with the protectors of Equestria but apparently they failed, no one knows what happened to them, some say the were captured and some say they died, I really don’t care what happened to them.”

“What about the metal ship? What happened to that?”

“After monsters destroyed the Crystal empire, the ship just disappeared, and I have no idea where it is now.”

Something tells me the ship is in orbit around the planet, there it could monitor the planet. “The other cities, are they destroyed like this one?”

“Probably, I have no idea. I haven’t left this place, so I don’t know.” I had heard everything I wanted to hear so I decided to free him. “What are you doing?” He asked me as I started to untie him.

“What does it look like, I’m letting you go.

“You’re not going to kill?”

I couldn’t help but snort. “I don’t have reason to.” Once he was free I started to head towards the door.

“Where are going?”

“I’m heading to Canterlot, I want to see what’s going on there.” I couldn’t see his face, but he probably thought I was crazy.

“Are you nuts? There are probably metal monster there.”

That made me smile. “I’m counting on it."

Cobalt couldn’t help but shake his head. “He’s crazy.” Then he realised something. “How did he know my name?”
