The 20% Cooler, Party Zany Cameo Chapter
It was a nice, sunny day...well actually, make that a nice, sunny, but also emotionally rough day for everyone’s favourite freaky superhero, Freakazoid! You see...it was his birthday today, and he was ready to have some fun. However, he has been asked to take many requests by various people, and it was all because of some so-called “Superhero Code Book.” Which would explain why he was mowing someone’s lawn.
As he moped around while mowing the lawn at the same time, he suddenly heard some screaming which did not go unnoticed. He turned to see that someone was running from a Humvee, blasting at him. The Humvee stopped, and out popped Freakazoid’s, arch-nemesis: A Big-Brain headed guy in a lab coat...The Lobe!
“Top of the morning to you, Freakazoid!” He said as he waved and rolled away in his vehicle. Freakazoid just shook his head, as he was not in the mood to deal with him right now, and went back to doing his chore.
He was just about to do another row of grass, if somebody had not stopped him, simply by sticking out his foot and stopping the mower. “Hey!” The guy who had asked him to mow the lawn said to him. “What are you doing?!”
“I’m fulfilling your request.” He told him. “I’m mowing your lawn.”
“While the Lobe’s attacking everybody?!” The guy said, as he was angry at him for not going to stop the villain right away. He grabbed him by the tights to get his attention. “Go get him, already!” He said. “What are you? Wakko?”
“No!” A voice said, as a puppy dog-like kid wearing a blue shirt and a red cap popped out of nowhere. It was Wakko Warner! “I’m Wakko!” He got in front of the two as he started to sing his song.
“Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Indianapolis, Indiana,
And Columbus is the capital of Ohio...”
“Hey! Wakko, what are you doing?” Freakazoid asked, as he interrupted his song. “We’re kinda in the middle of something here!”
“Oh you know! Steven loves it when we do things like that.” Wakko told him, gleefully. “After all, Animaniacs Is his favourite!”
Freakazoid pulled Wakko up in the air by the collar. “Sorry to disappoint you, Wakko.” He said, bluntly. “But, in case you didn’t know, Freakazoid! is Steven’s favourite show. We have a memo.” He unrolled a contract to prove it.
“I believe you’re both mistaken.” Another voice said, which caught the other two’s attention. It was a white lab mouse with a big chubby head...the Brain to be exact. “It is the sophisticated wit and charm of Pinky & The Brain that not only captured Steven’s heart, but was also the breakaway hit of the WB schedule.” He said, introducing himself.
“Oh, come on!” Another voice said. “Tell 'em the fun part!” Brain, Wakko and Freakazoid all turned to see a cyan, Rainbow-Maned Pegasus...Rainbow Dash arrive quick to the other characters.
“Rainbow Dash?” Wakko asked in shock, as he didn’t expect to see her here.
“Wakko?” Rainbow Dash asked in excitement. “Oh, my hoof-ness!” she raced over to him and hugged him so tightly, that he could barely breath. “It’s so great to see you!”
Wakko managed to release himself from the Pegasus’ grip, trying to catch his breath. “It’s great to see you too!” He said, gasping.
Freakazoid just facepalmed in frustration. “Aw, nut bunnies!” He said. “First it’s Wakko, The Brain, then a talking Rainbow falcon! What’s next?!”
“Hiiiii!” A squeaky hi-pitched voice said in excitement. Freakazoid turned to see who said that.
He then groaned in disappointment and uncomfortableness. “You can not be serious right now!” He said, groaning as a Pink blur zoomed over to the characters. The blur stopped, revealing a light pink pony with a dark pink bubbly mane. It was Pinkie Pie!
“Pinkie Pie?” Rainbow Dash asked as she saw her friend arrive. “This just keeps getting better and better!”
“Pinkie?!” Wakko asked in shock, upon seeing her.
“Wait what?!” The Brain asked as he saw her and her immense height.
Pinkie Pie saw Freakazoid and gasped as she rushed over to the superhero, who was just as shocked as the others were to see her, and a little nervous as well. “Hi there!” She said in excitement. “I’m Pinkie Pie! I’ve never seen you before! Are you new? You MUST be new! Prepare to be welcomed!” She brought out her party cake/musical instrument machine, which made the others shocked as she sung her welcome song.
“Welcome, welcome, welcome—”
“NO!” Freakazoid said angrily as he shushed the pink pony. “None of that! Shame on you!”
Pinkie responded by kicking him up in the air, as she landed. “I’m gonna welcome you one way or another!” She said gleefully, getting ready to fight.
FIGHT!
The two started to duke it out when Rainbow Dash stopped them both as they tried to get to each other. “Okay, okay, okay, STOP!” she shouted. “I'm gonna put a hoof through the ground if you both don't cease at once! This is ridiculous!” She turned to the lawn mowing guy. “Where were you and him...exactly?”
The lawn mowing guy tried to remember where they left off. He thought and counted, retracing his steps about where he left off with his argument. Finally, he remembered. “Oh, yeah! What’s the matter with all of you?!” He asked as he grabbed Freakazoid by the suit again. “GO GET THE LOBE!”
Pinkie split the two up. “He is such a party pooper!” She said in disgust.
“What are we going to do with him?” Wakko asked.
As Rainbow was trying to ponder what to do with him, Freakazoid brought out his code book for all to see. “Because it’s in the CODE BOOK, Okay?” He asked, stressed. “Because superheroes always keep their word, no matter what! OK?”
The lawn mowing guy was about to scold him, when Pinkie suddenly noticed the fanfic chapter’s title. Quickly, she grabbed the title, and walloped him with it, sending him flying through the sky and—
“Hey, wait, wait, wait, whoa...” Freakazoid said as he saw her wallop him the title of this story. “You see those things too?”
“Yeah!” Pinkie Pie said excitedly. “I mean, they’re usually kind of annoying, but...”
“Say no more, Tiny Pink horse and Rainbow Bird!” Freakazoid said as he walked slowly up to them. “On the count of three, say what you’re favourite food is!”
“Ready!” Wakko said, as the others nodded with him.
Freakazoid started the count. “1...2...3! PAPAYA JUICE!”
“Taco!” Wakko called out from his square.
“Peanut Butter and Zap Apple Jam sandwich!” Rainbow called out from her square.
“Food pellet!” The Brain called out from his square.
“Cherrychanga!” Pinkie called out from her square.
“The heck is a cherrychanga?!” Freakazoid asked, pushing his border to the middle.
“Only the most delicious, most awesome thing you ever tasted!” Pinkie answered, moving her border forward, and Freakazoid’s back! “BAM!” She threw out four cherrychangas, which hit each of their faces.
Rainbow Dash licked hers and smiled. “Fabu!” Wakko said in excitement as he ate his off his face!
“Yes!” The Brain said as he ate the cherry treat in no time flat!
“It’s wonderful!” Freakazoid whispered in excitement as he licked his off too.
“Does this mean we’re friends now?” Pinkie asked in excitement.
“Uh, best friends!” Freakazoid said, as he rushed over to her, while the others nodded.
“Wanna have some fun!” Rainbow asked.
“Oh, do we ever!” Freakazoid said excitedly, as Pinkie used the fourth wall to kick the episode open, and they all jumped out and opened the gateway to another TV show, going inside.
IN ANOTHER WORLD...
In a cartoon house, Roy Knable was trying to evade the Mecha-cat with his wife Helen. The two mice were trying to dash away from the predator, as football-shaped grenades hit the cat, making it yowl in pain, as the Knables went to the next channel. The Robo-Cat looked up to see who made that damage. “YAHOOOOOO!” Wakko said as he threw a bowling ball sized bomb at him, making it explode.
STILL IN ANOTHER WORLD...
In the city, the Beast Morphers Power Rangers were taking on cybervillains, Blaze and Roxy. The rangers and villains fought blow for blow for their weapons and animal powers! Both sides were evenly matched.
“TRANSPORT! BEAST-X SABERS!” The Rangers said, as they hit the transporters, summoning their weapons and charged at the avatars.
Blaze and Roxy retaliated by summoning their weapons too and duked it out. The rangers used their Sabers to fight, but the cybervillains dodged their attacks.
“Oh! Dance-off!” Freakazoid said as he and his friends got to them, via the fourth wall. He, Wakko, Brain and Pinkie started to dance, in front of the confused avatars.
“Oh yeah! Let’s move it!” Rainbow Dash said, as she began to dance too! “Like that! Yeah!” She pulled out her signature dance moves.
Blaze facepalmed in frustration. “Ugh! Seriously?!” He asked, as the Power Rangers watched in confusion.
“Get serious!” Roxy said, as she got out her blasters to blast the cartoon characters. Luckily, Pinkie saved them with the fourth wall, taking them to the next cartoon.
LATER STILL, IN ANOTHER WORLD...
Tom was using the Maze Monster Zap Men to zap Jerry inside the machine. The Zap creatures got ready to zap him, but Jerry responded by dodging their blasts, hitting themselves instead. Tom was furious as Jerry made a raspberry to him.
He pounded the machine repeatedly until it self-destructed, which would not only knock Jerry out of the machine, but also would bring the Zap Men to life!
“NOOOOOOOO!” Pinkie cried out as the cat and mouse turned to see her in shock. “I was gonna play that one!”
“Come on!” Freakazoid called out as he pointed to a YouTube video. “We’ve found The jackpot!” Pinkie and others caught up to him. “Look!”
“Hi, Twilight!” Rainbow called out to the thumbnail of the video of Twilight’s Pony Life moments.
“No, no! Not that one! That one!” Freakazoid said, pointing straight to the credits of his show, showing a creator and animators’ names. “Those are the guys responsible for sticking us in this episode in the first place!”
“You mean Steven Spielberg and Lauren Faust?” Rainbow Dash asked in confusion.
“Oh, no. I’m talking even MORE meta.” Freakazoid said, as he developed a sneaky idea as a smirk was coming on his face.
“Like going on mosquitos and bear attacks?” Wakko asked.
“Or taking over the whole episode?” Brain asked as well.
“Or creating a sonic rainboom?” Rainbow Dash asked as well.
“Ugh! Okay, okay okay...STOP! No! And I'm gonna put a hoof through the floor if we don't all stop this at once! This is ridiculous!” Pinkie said, as she faced the readers of this very fanfic. “Now we wanted to shake things up for this episode, and do something different, and I'd say we did that. Wouldn't you all agree?“
“Uh huh!” Everyone said, as they nodded in agreement.
“We all used the fourth wall to interrupt this scene as well as this whole show!” Pinkie said excitedly. “That’s about the silliest, goofiest thing we all could think of. It's not an everyday thing. Not at all. And I think there's only one thing to do about it.“
“I concur with that comment, Pinkie!” Freakazoid said as he was ready to get the others into his plan. “I think it’s time we had some REAL fun!”
MEANWHILE, AT TOWN HALL...
“And, that’s the last time I ever made a waffle!” Paul Rugg said as he was finishing his story about how he had his experience on making breakfast.
“Oh, very fun!” The Lobe said sarcastically. “All I have is a coupon for Happy Clown Breakfast Soup.”
At that moment, the ceiling gave way as Wakko, Brain, Freakazoid, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie all fell through and landed right before Paul, Lobe, Steven Spielberg, and of course...the announcer!
“Ow!” Wakko said as he got up from the fall. “What the? Brain? Are you there?”
“I’m alright, Wakko.” Brain said, and Wakko could see that he accidentally stepped on him. Carefully, he scraped the bottom of his foot, taking the Brain off and squished him back to health, setting him on the ground.
“Ow! That was a rough fall!” Rainbow Dash said as she got up, recovering from the fall.
“Ow! My tail!” Pinkie Pie said as she got up from the fall.
Freakazoid got up and rubbed the dirt and debris off him, and saw the people that witnessed this moment. “YOU!” He said angrily, pointing at them. “I finally found you! The idiot with the stupid face...”, pointing at Paul Rugg, “...the idiot animator with the stupid hair...” pointing at Steven Spielberg, “...the idiot nemesis with the big brain head...”, posting at the Lobe, “...and the idiot announcer on my show who give away plot points, and writes my jokes because he thinks he’s FUNNIER than me!!!” pointing to said announcer.
“Well, I mean...” Joe Leahy, the announcer started to say, starting to laugh. “I did write THAT one. So...it was me.”
“I’ve just got one question for all.” Freakazoid said, still furious, but with a calm tone in his voice. “JUST ONE!” He slowly walked up the the four people behind his show. “Why oh why oh why would you pull me into another one of these crossover cameo episodes...on my birthday??” His attitude switched to calm and curious as he asked that question. “Come on!”
“Wait a minute!” Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie both said in shock.
“You didn’t tell us it was your birthday!” Rainbow Dash said in surprise and shock and she and Pinkie used the fourth wall to drag themselves, Wakko, Brain, & Freakazoid to Sugarcube Corner.
The four people were shocked that they saw this whole thing unfold, that neither of them knew what to say. Finally, Paul broke the silence. “WHAT THE F—?!” He started to ask in horror.
AT SUGARCUBE CORNER...
“It's Freakazoid’s birthday!” Pinkie squealed I’m glee as she and the superhero were somehow brought it the middle!
The rest of the Mane Six, Wakko and the Brain rushed over to them and hugged the hero. “Happy birthday!” They all said in excitement. Suddenly, they opened their eyes, and looked up as a present fell on top of them! Pinkie’s pet alligator, Gummy came out of the box, blowing a party whistle as the Mane Six popped out from under the box unharmed.
“That...” Wakko started as he popped out from the left top of the box.
“...was...” Freakazoid said as he popped out from the middle top of the box.
“...awesome!” Brain said as he popped out from the right top of the box.
They all laughed together as a remix of the Pony Life theme song was playing. “Well, so much for the whole ‘taking requests’ thing on my birthday, now!” Freakazoid said happily as he landed on the floor, in front of the Mane Six. “Right?”
“Another happy ending!” Pinkie Pie said as she, Rainbow Dash, Wakko and The Brain hero as they all laughed together and had a slice of cake to celebrate this momentous birthday together!
MEANWHILE...
“What the—?!” The Lobe asked in shock. “WHERE’S THE CARNAGE?! What a cop out!”
“I don’t...I-I can’t...this isn’t how it was supposed to be!” Joe Leahy said as he was shocked at all this too.
“I mean...I guess it makes sense, when you think about it.” The Lobe said in realization, before turning to Joe the Announcer. “Weren’t you the one who said breaking the rules would spin out of control whatever?”
“Don’t ask me!” Joe said in shock. “This wasn’t MY call!”
“Sooo...who wins?” The Lobe asked in curiosity. “Who loses?”
“Lobe, I think...the loser is US.” Joe Leahy said in exhaustion and surprise.
“(Bleep)in Hasbro!” The Lobe said in anger as he stomped his foot on the ground. At that moment, a cow fell on top of him, as Joe the Announcer looked up to see who it was.
It was a big worm in a super suit on top of a nearby tower who did this...namely, Earthworm Jim! And he was excited that he did the usual way to end an episode...or maybe a fanfic for that matter! “Groovy!” Jim said in amazement to the readers. “Hey, viewers!” He said. “Don’t mind me! I’m just passing through, doing my standard cameo!”
“Excuse me, Jim.” I whispered to him. “But...” I whispered something inaudible to him. Jim was shocked at that as I left.
“This is a HASBRO cartoon?!” Jim said in shock. “Ungroovy! I gotta get outta here!” He went on his hovercraft and zoomed away! What a surprising cameo at the end THAT turned out to be!
