Today was the big day for fluttershy. She finally got the courage. “I can do it!” Fluttershy thought to herself as she flew up to Rainbow Dash, who, (not very surprisingly), was sleeping In a cloud.

“H-Hey R-Rainbow?” Rainbow Dash squirmed around in her sleep. Rainbow Dash starts muttering. Fluttershy heard her say “No, I don’t want a cupcake Pinkie.” She said, “Rainbow wake up!”

“Huh wha-?” Rainbow starts kicking around and then she wakes up! “She’s so cute in her sleep...” fluttershy thinks to herself, blushing.

“Oh, hey Shy. What brings you here? Don’t answer that, let’s go into my house.” Rainbow says, still kind of tired.

“W-Whatever you say!” They both fly over to where Rainbow’s house is. Fluttershy couldn’t stop blushing, even when Rainbow was looking at her. “Flutters, you ok?” Rainbow asks on the way there. “Uh, yeah! Everything’s fine!” Fluttershy stammers.

“Ooookay??” When they get inside, Rainbow sits down. “So, what brings you here?” Fluttershy sees an opportunity for a good joke to help her chances.

“What brought me here? Well, you did.” Fluttershy says with a smile on her face. “Haha! Good one! I gotta tell that one to pinkie someday!” “Haha, thanks!” Fluttershy tries to find a good time to actually tell her what she came for.

“So, what did you need?” Rainbow asks. “Well...” fluttershy finally gets full courage. “D-Do you want t-to...”

“Fluttershy? What’s with the stammering? You sound like you’re gonna cry...” “N-No! The thing is... do you wanna go out for dinner with me?”

Rainbow Dash is shocked. “ME?? Do you mean like a DATE? “Fluttershy’s heart start to sink. She didn’t expect Rainbow to be so surprised. “Y-Yeah...”

“You must have had a talk with Iron Will, cuz that takes guts! I’m proud, Shy.” “R-Really?” “Yup! In fact, I will go on a date with you, flutters.”

Fluttershy is surprised. “Really?! You mean it?!” “Pinkie promise. So, where exactly did you have in mind?” “I was thinking, maybe sugarcube corner?”

“Sounds good! Just make sure pinkie doesn’t find out. She’d tell everyone in equestria!” Rainbow said. Rainbow dash gets up and walks over to fluttershy.

“Tonight at 6 sound good?” “Sounds good!” Fluttershy gets up and gives Rainbow Dash a huge hug. “Thanks for coming, Shy.” “No problem! See you tonight!” “Bye!”

“I can’t believe this is happening!!” Fluttershy gets home and packs a picnic as a little “dessert” for Rainbow and herself. She tries to practice with animals wearing a Rainbow Dash mask. Her bunny, Angel, seems mad.

“Oh no, I’m not ready!” Fluttershy gets very worried. “Oh, calm down fluttershy, it’s only 1:00! Just stay calm...”
