The year is 1899 and the Van Der Linde gang has completely fallen apart from the inside out. Micah Bell has sold them all down the river to the Pinkerton Detective Agency and now most of them are either dead or have left all together. This just leaves Arthur Morgan, the famed gunslinger dying of Tuberculosis, to deal with this problem. After helping his friend John Marston escape the Pinkertons and Micah, Arthur has finally come to the end of his rope and passed away upon the mountain ridge. Little did he know that not only was this the end of his life, but also the beginning of a whole new one.
