Prologue

Sea of Ash

Smoke filled his lungs as he trudged forward. He had to get there he was so close. As he continued to walk he would hear the occasional explosion and weapon fire. He had told his army to attack from the west while he him self attacked from the north. Not one of his smartest plans, but it would work. He started to hear the sound of one of the dropships that the remnants used and got down on the ground blending in with the dead bodies. As he laid there he thought of Warfang The great city of the dragons, but the Nexus needed him the most so he had to leave. Leaving her behind was one of his biggest regrets. He soon heard the ship lift off and fly away, but that was soon accompanied by foot steps. the sound of bone and flesh hitting the ground came closer until he let out a war cry that would put even the strongest of dragons to shame.

He shot the ground below him and it exploded sending him up and he started to spin in a circle flying straight towards one of the soldiers. when he heard a wet crack he turned around to see that he had went right through him spraying his intestines' all over him and the ground. He took no chance jumped up and cut his head off sending it flying. Then he noticed there were two dragons there. He had just went through the third. They were both bigger than him by far. If he remembered correctly he was was only a quarter of the guardians height.

"You will pay for that Demon!" the dragon on the left said he could see red scales and an orange under belly.

'Typical fire dragons always have the basic scale color nothing ever creative' he thought as he readied himself for a fight.

The fire dragon charged at him letting out a war cry, but then one they called demon jumped up climbing onto his back and start slashing the back of his neck. As he finished he crawled up his neck jumping up. prying open his mouth, he spit a ball or purple fire a couple of inches above him and caught it. As demon punctured it with his claws it it started to flicker. He then threw it inside of the fire dragons mouth, he jumped off back kicking his jaw up stunning the Fire dragon and soon he was fine.

"Is that all you got Tiny Dem..." that is all the fire dragon could let out before his chest exploded and all of his insides came spilling out.

"You monster!" the other dragon said the same element but with a maroon tent and a more shininess to the scales. He too made the mistake his comrade did and charged at him pulling out a sword in the process.

He swung the sword, but missed he soon realized his mistake and found himself staggering backwards, but when he looked back he soon found his sword inside his head his own brain flying out the other side.

"Such idiots." The small dark scaled dragon said as he walked towards the volcano that was glowing purple. He heard the sound of thrusters and turned around the see two glowing blue eyes as a dragon made of metal stood before him.

"Sir the plan you have so ignorantly made has actually work. The troops are now moving through the front gates keeping them busy as you requested." the metal dragon said as he listened to every detail she would go on the explain.

"What are your next orders Shadowfall?" The metal dragon said as Shadow looked around until his eyes set back up at the volcano.

"There. Dark Cloud I need you to drop me off at the top of that volcano I am going to end all of this." he said as Dark Cloud called for her Dropship. Which confused the small Dark magic wielding dragon. She could fly and is made of metal why in the world she needed one of those from the old research facility was beyond him. As she got into the cockpit, she started the engines and took off towards the peek of the volcano.

"sir your requested LZ is too hot. Might I add quite literally." Dark Cloud said as she flew around.

"Land on that cliff side as close as you can!" Shadowfall said as he pointed to the cliff face. Dark Cloud flew down and got as close as possible. Dark Cloud pushed a couple of buttons and saw that the auto pilot was engaged.

She went to a rack with her usual gear. Mobile Flake cannons, shoulder mounted rocket launcher, a C-75 Laser assault rifle it shot blue laser bolts and could hold up to 33 a mag, and finally her favorite out of it all was her wrist blade. She activated it and it produced a red glow that even being a machine she could feel the heat coming from it. She deactivated it and got her most commonly used weapon, her twin shouldered mounted C-403 assault rifles that shot a red bolt instead of blue because she liked blue and red.

She went and stood in front of Shadowfall as she prepared her built in shield. As for shadow he preferred typical Shoulder mounted Assault rifles with regenerating ammo. He pushed the side of his helmet and a visor spread over his face.

"wait I have a question?" Shadow said as he just realized something.

Dark Cloud just raise one of her mechanical eyebrow.

"where did you get all this stuff?" He asked genuinely confused.

"Every time we go into an advance facility from the old ages I take what ever gear I can grab." Dark cloud said with her monotone voice like as if she was telling this to a full grown adult.

"That makes more sense now that I think about it." Shadow said As Dark Cloud opened the ramp and they charged out.

Shadowfall Shot up with a start as he replayed that memory over and over and over again.

Letting out an irritated sigh he tried to go back to sleep when he had heard screaming and the cry for help. He just shrugged it off and went back to sleep only for the screams to wake him up again. Then something was triggered inside of him.

He found himself in a city he knew all too well. It was Warfang, during the peek of his father's rule. The Great Shadow Demon and he was the generally. He turned around and saw that there he was brutally cutting, slicing, and even murdering everyone in his sight. The guardians and the purple dragon came for him and he got ready for a fight until it was just the guardians that stood before him.

"You will end this Demon!" Terrador said as the earth guardian snarled.

He heard that chuckle way to many times to count and he hated it every time.

"You think you can stop me? I have waited and rotted IN FUCKING HELL FOR 100 FUCKING YEAR FOR YOUR ASSES TO BECOME WEAK SO I COULD ESCAPE!? I am not going back." The corrupted version of himself said in which made the Earth dragon charge at me only to be halted by a cloaked figure.

It was bipedal, had fur on its legs as there were rigs on its thighs that glowed a dim red. as the cloak was removed it was revealed to be the one creature he hated the most. his name was...

"FAKE! I TOLD YOU TO STAY OUT OF THIS!" His Corrupted self said.

"You know as well as I that I had too." Fake said as he stood there.

Fake and his corrupted self charged at each other, but right before they could meet in the middle everything came back to normal. He started panting and looked up in direction of the screams and un furled his wings which one of them had its webbing glowing a Maroon color and was made of metal and flew off towards the noise.

The CMC were running for what felt like hours, but in reality was just a couple of minutes. The Timberwolves were going to have their meal. They kept running until they came to a dead end where a crevasse was in front of them. They went to run the other way only to be met with the wolves. The closed their eyes ready to meet their fair, when the heard a bark and then heard the wolf pounce onto them then they heard a whining noise. They opened their eyes to see a dragon that quadruped rather then bipedal. They noticed that the dragon had black scales with a maroon under belly with two dark purple ears behind his horns that were as big as his ears. His eyes glowed with red and black as he stared down the wolves. As the wolves looked at the dragon they began to hesitate until their hunger clouded them and they charged at him. Shadowfall side stepped it and and brought his tail blade which was in the shape of a scythe.

He watched as the head of the Timberwolf rolled over to its companions. They slowly backed up knowing that it wasn’t worth the trouble and ran off. Shadow went over to the body and picked it up, dragging it to the ledge and rolled it over the edge waiting until he heard the noise of would hitting rock. In which he did not have to wait too long until his queue was heard.

He turned and saw that his true height compared to the ponies was that he was just a couple of inches taller than them.

“What are you three doing out here?” He asked with irritation evident in his voice.

They just stared at him in wonder. Letting out an irritated sigh he started to walk away until a voice stopped him.

“Wait!” The orange filly said which made him turn around which made the young girl shrink. “Um we don’t know where to go.” She said which made his eye twitch.

Before he came to the fact he would just eat them alive he went against it and gave in.

“Fine follow me but you stay near the entrance of the cave at all times do not and I will say it again do not go deeper into the cave got?” He said with the most sternness he could muster. He saw all three of them nod and he turned around and gestured for them to follow him.

Sea of Ash

The ramp opened and Dark cloud Activated her shields as projectiles and magic bounced off her shield as she moved forward ever so slowly until she came to a stop as she raised the shield and slammed it down into the ground only for it to expand and raise allowing it to form cover.

“So what now?” Dark Cloud asked. As Shadowfall though for a sec as Dark Cloud peeked over and used her Shoulder mounted C-75 assault rifles or as she called them her SMC-75. As she opened fire she hit two enemies in the head killing them instantly.

“ I got it! Do you have the mortar mount?” Shadowfall asked.

“Yes sir I do, why sir?” She asked

“ I need you to fire it Northwest 150meters up on that hill.” He said pointing in the direction. In which she nodded and pulled out a cylinder attached it to her Flak cannon and fired sending the bomb shell arching over to the rocks above them killing everyone under it. That only left the five remaining troopers.

“They are all yours Shadow.” Dark Cloud said as she gestured to the troopers and Shadowfall, with a large flap of his wings took off into the air and let a dark magic crystal appear in his paw as he brought a into the troopers eye making him freak out as soon his head would explode in a gory mess. He soon heard the sound of a trooper drop ship and found himself surrounded. It was not long until Shadowfalls’s radio cracked to life.

“Do you need help sir.” Dark Cloud said as for he could have sworn he heard a cocky ness in her voice, but just dismissed it.

“No I am fine.” He said questioning his own answer. He looked around him and there was at least twenty troopers. He activated his Assault rifles and readied them for a fight as he activated a wrist blade as well that was purple that had fumes coming off of it. One of the troopers let out a war cry as they all charged him.

He saw sword come for his neck as he duck under it in which it went past him and cut another trooper in half making his guts spill out onto the ground as he screamed. Shadowfall jumped up and landed on his head as he opened fire on the trooper’s head until it was Mother but mesh. He flew up again ground pounding sending some of the troopers staggering back. Shadowfall brought himself close to the ground as he two weapons start to spin in a circle opening fire as they shot in a circle killing anything that got too close. He shot the ground sending him up and landed on another trooper in which Shadow swung his wrist blade cutting half of the trooper’s head off letting the half brain fall onto the ground. He spun right around and jumped onto the chest of a trooper and slammed his fist into the troopers chest as he ripped the heart out and crushed it. He soon pulled out a glowing purple orb which he punctured with his claw which made it flick and he threw it into the hole making it explode making his insides go flying everywhere.

He landed on the ground and stood there looking at the carnage before him. He heard the sound of metal steps and turned to see Dark Cloud the only family he had left and they were going to finally end this nightmare once and for all.

Chapter 1: The Ending to A Story.....

Shadowfall and Dark Cloud walked through the caverns as he and her tried not to fall into the pit of lava despite being a demon Shadowfall still had his limits. As he walked his back leg slipped and fear gripped him like a vice and he fell, but was caught by Dark Cloud which made the fear go away very quickly.

“Thanks Cloud.” Shadow said the helmet muffling his voice, but not to the point where they can’t hear each other.

“It is quite okay Sir Jason would have jumped with you.” She said which got a chuckle out of him until sadness gripped him. At the memory of Jason.

“Now then, let’s get moving we need to end this nightmare for good.” He said As he pulled out a cylinder which had a timer on it and pushed a code into it which activated the device. As he did this he walked over and put it on Dark Cloud which put a bubble shield around the device. He he put the device on his back as he readied his SMAR (Shoulder Mounted Assault Rifle). They continued through the cave and continued for awhile until they came upon a clearing in which they saw the spire In the middle of the clearing. He saw the one thing that scared him. He saw a dark blood red and black crystal in the middle of the charging spire and he started to walk backwards until he bumped into Dark Cloud.

“Sir we must end this.” She said we’ll knowing why he fear those crystals. In her data base those crystals were called. They were called, Dauntless Cores.

“Yeah your right lets go.” Shadowfall said as they both charged forward while Dark Cloud covered shadow with her metallic wing.

They got the the small charging spire and Dark Cloud gave the Device to Shadowfall which armed it.

“Sir the nuke is armed and ready I can call the drop ship for snag and grab OP if you want?” Dark Cloud said.

“Yes do that we need to-“ that’s all he got to say as an explosion knocked both of them to the ground. As he looked up a part of the volcano exploded. Meaning it was going to erupt. The drop ship, Shadowfall noticed, was coming. He pointed to it which Dark Cloud nodded and they started to go, but before Dark Cloud could run she looked down and saw the ground beneath her begin to turn red and she quickly saw Shadowfall come towards her. She grabbed him and threw him away right as she did that the ground exploded beneath her sending her flying.

Shadowfall quickly ran towards her and he noticed that half of her body was missing.

“ Dark Cloud.” Shadowfall croaked as he looked at her condition.

He dragged her to the ship as he was moving very slowly. The side door of the drop ship opened to the safety that was waiting for them.

“Cloud we are almost there.” Shadowfall said his eyes starting to tear up.

“S.s...shado...do..fall.” Dark Cloud stuttered due to her damaged stat. “I won’t make it.” She said as her glowing eyes flickered. She used her wings to help her sit up as she saw the edge where the drop ship was.

“I won’t loose you too. Not another one.” He said as he dragged her across the opening and came to the edge of the cliff which the ship got as close as it could until it stopped and shadow turned to see that Cloud stopped it.

She grabbed Shadowfall by the neck as she got closer to the edge.

“Sir..I...it’s....its..it’s..its..be...be..been an.....an..an...an honor.” She said which made Shadow fight back against her strong grip. She reared her arm back and threw Shadowfall in and pushed a button on her wrist which closed the side door as she fell to lay on her back.

“Cloud! NOOOOOOO!” Shadowfall scream as he was thrown into the ship as the door closed and he saw the only family left die before him. He soon saw the nuke detonate and the whole volcano destroyed and His last family memeber with it.

Author's Note

This is to finish where that last part took place everything will make since in the end. Like whoa Jason is why a Metal machine is his family member and all that.

...That We Wish Never Started

Shadowfall guides the three fillies through the Everfree forest as the came upon a mountain which had a cave that had a strange piece of rock that was coming out of the side. They walked past it into the cave where Shadowfall had a fire going. He walked around the fire and sat down in front of it only to close his eyes as he felt the warmth of the fire. Then he felt the eyes of the three.

“Are you going to stare or are you going to get warmed up?” Shadowfall asked with his stricken tone making them jump as they scooted closer the orange and purple filly spoke up to break the ever growing silence.

“So, what’s your name?” Scootaloo asked

“My name is none of your business.” Shadowfall said bluntly.

“Well can you tell us what kind of dragon ya are I never seen a dragon like before.” Applebloom said.

“No and stop asking questions. I am going to sleep; you should too.” He said as he got up and walked deeper into the cave.

The CMC did not trust this dragon even if he saved them something was off about him and they both felt it. They followed the dragon as he went deeper into the cave where they saw him come to sit down in front of three sticks that were were coming out of the ground.

“Hey guys.” He said out loud the CMC wondering who he was talking to. They looked at one of the sticks and noticed a helmet with a cracked visor with a hole in it.

“Jason I wish you were here. I am lost I have royalty after my god damn fucking hide and who knows what. You were always the most protective of me.” He said as he looked at one of them. As they listened the both gasped at what this meant, but this caught the dragons attention. As he snapped around and tackled the three to the ground.

“WHAT DID I SAY!?” Shadowfall screamed.

“We’re sorry we just wanted to make sure you weren’t no evil guy.” The white filly said which made Shadowfall start laughing.

“My days of villainy are over. Jason made sure of that.” Shadowfall said which did not help the CMC’s feelings towards him.

He got up and turned around to walk back to sit in front of them.

"What were their names?" the purple and orange filly asked.

He could not tell them he couldn’t, it went against everything he stood for, but then a something that Jason had said ‘Sometimes your enemies can become your allies.’ Letting out a sigh he gave in and told them.

“Fine, I’ll talk. This is is a reminder of a time long past. A past that should have never happen. This is what is left of my family. I think I should start from the beginning.” Shadowfall said

Warfang 20 years before The battle for the Sea of Ash

Shadowfall jumped to another roof as he jumped from one to another. As he noticed some of them looking up at him as they saw the strange device on his back that produced mini flames propelling him forward. He soon began to slide down the side of a roof and into an alleyway. As he pulled out a pouch and tossed it up into the air before it landed into his paw. He turned to leave until two guards were in front of him preventing his escape.

“Oh hey guys. So how’s it going, you know I would love to stay and chat, but I have someone that needs this by someone I mean me.” Shadowfall said as he charged them activating the device on his back he jumped onto the wall as he ran on it and jumped up and landing behind the guards leaving them stunned at what just happened.

“I need to thank the creators for making this. I LOVE IT!”Shadowfall said.

”I was a thief of sorts. After being left behind I had nothing else to do so why not become on top of Warfang’s most wanted list” he said as he continued his story.

He flew through the sky as he came to the outskirts until he saw the hatch he was looking for. He opened the hatch to the underground sewer system that he used to get to his little hide away. He kept walking until he came upon a door that was made of metal unlike the wall around him which was made of concrete. He pushed a code into the keypad that took him for ever to crack. After many combinations and conclusions later he figured out the code was ‘1 2 3 4 5 6’ which quite frankly pissed him off really bad. He entered the old facility and closed the door behind him.

He walked through the long corridor and noticed that some of the lights were flickering and thought he should try to fix this place up. He kept going until he came upon a room that had strange devices all over the place. He saw a red button on a device glow red which made him wounded seeing how this wasn’t here before he pushed it and a audio log as these were known as, appeared and this one peeked his interest. The creature would soon speak and what was said made him curious.

”This is audio log 756602-Alpha Omega,

We have been doing research on trying to see if the human brain can survive what we call a Hyper Brain Reactive Transfer or HBRT for short. We conducted multiple experiments on moving a human brain to another and soon found the issue. The human brain when it’s removed will shut down all together. We think there might be an explanation for this. We think that if the human brain doesn’t detect any of the internal organs or the nerve system it will shut down due to not knowing what to do. The brain is always picturing a scenario that you are in and it will make many different routes to take as possible and why the outcome might be. We will discuss this in the cognitive logs under scientific research. For now however. Project dark cloud is on the way and almost ready to go. It just needs to be deployed for a test run.“

He turned the log off and looked at it.

“Project dark cloud I like the sound of that.” Shadowfall said as he pulled out a map and started to look at it maybe trying to get clues on where to go and where to get some good food.

“So wait a gosh darn minute you were a no good stealing varmint?” The yellow filly asked.

“Why don’t you get left behind and forced to survive on your own then we will talk.” Shadowfall said. “I am getting some sleep and you should too. Now go back to the fire.” He said as they walked off he soon fell asleep.

He started to hear the sound of a fire crackling and feeling two masses next to him that he knew all to well. They were his caretakers he was with them again. He soon got up and walked to the volcanic Palace balcony. He lived in what was called the fire bio after the original kings defeat during the Frozen Wars. Jason took over and the Fire bio has prospered. He lived on a small island which was connected by multiple bios with the grasslands being in the middle and the market. It’s where everyone would gather. He looked up at the tall Citadel Peek which it was a mountain that was shaped like a spire so it was called the Citadel Peek. He looked at the floating islands connected and some that floated on their own. Th is was home. He heard someone walking towards him and saw it was Jason. With his maroon scales and his blood red underbelly and 4 horns on his head the bigger ones being in the middle as to simulate a crown.

“Shadowfall, I don’t have much time.” Jason said as Shadow looked up at him. “Shadowfall you are dreaming and I am here to warn you that he is returning and he will show no mercy.” Jason finished as Shadowfall looked back he saw that he was now in the grass lands as he saw a dark purple dragon with a black underbelly pick up a child which screamed and was crying out for help but it was too late as she was ripped in half as she screamed in agony the dragon approached her.

“Yes scream for me.” The dark evil dragon said as he stuck his paw inside of her torn off mid section and ripped her spin out bringing her head with it from the bottom of her. As organs and intestines were spilled everywhere as he saw that dragon approach another one and proceeded to pull on his wings until one of his wings was ripped off making the young dragon scream. He keep beating, ripping, and gutting until his eyes set upon him. Which made Shadow’s heart skip a beat. Until everything froze. He knew this sight it was him during the Demonic Ages, Nightmare.

“You must go to the capital of this place and do what none of us could ever do in a millennium. Warn them and prepare your army because this tune he will show no mercy, but first I think you should know the beginning.” Jason said as he made everything disappeared and was replaced with a lush green grass and noticed they were under a tree.

“Now let us begin.” Jason said as he laid on his stomach and Shadowfall soon went and laid next to him as he got close to him and soaked in his warmth.

Chapter 2: The Legend Of The Old Ages

I know its short so shut your trap.

This is to explain the research facility and why Dark Cloud is well OP as fuck. Well she isnt but she kind of isn't the same time. I will explain each characters with their names being the chapter name and it being longest fucking thing you have ever seen. not really only be like 3-5k words or so.

I hope you enjoy this chapter again more context on the way and My other story The demon of Shadows is on the way I am making a very long long long long long chapter for it so yeah. I HAVE NO LIFE WOAH.

Chapter 2: The Legend Of The Old Ages

Long ago before the dawn of dragons, there was a world filled with creatures of vast amounts of knowledge at their disposal, but that came with a price. Wars were fought time and time again for resources, food, and land. These conflicts would harm the world to its very core. There was still hope. A handful of people all across the world came together to form research facilities where tests would be made to try and help end this war once and for all, until they came up with a solution. They had called it Project Shadow Fall. It was supposed to be the machine that would end the war once and for all, but with a heavy price to pay. On one fateful day, they had launched their project and it was launched into orbit where it would then come back down to the ground and destroy all life on the planet except for the ones under ground. From the ashes of war and conflict new islands and strange occurrences would happen. Islands floated into the sky, as new and exotic animals and plants were growing, and new evolutionary discoveries from animals.

Everything had been set right, but with the lose of billions of lives. The scientists went back under ground soon running out of food and accepted their fates as they had changed the world for the better. A creature stood up from the rest as he said.

"We are the last of our kind, we can't die like this we must make something for any intelligent species that will take our place. They must know what happened and why we created this place and what happened to us." the creature said as others began to agree. so they came together doing things that all the rest of their kind could never hope to accomplish and they created Project Dark Cloud.

The creature pulled out a device and pushed a red button which made everyone visible. "We are the creators of this wonderful place you stand in. You are standing in a place that would take our kind hundreds of years because of politics. We are the last and we are dying. I hope that what ever intelligent species comes after us. Know that we made ourselves go extinct because of faults not our own, but all of our kinds. This place will contain our last project as a token, a gift, and a way of showing our kinds engineering might. I hope this gift guides you away from our mistakes and fixes the planet we had broken. We hope this will make up for the damage we have done." the creature ended the recording and set it on the table.

Time would go on as each one of them would die of starvation and knew they had done something that would help the future species, as they would be guided down the path towards greatness and away from destruction.

Chapter Dark Cloud: Random Encounters

Dark Cloud walked through the the ancient city of old and continued through passing the spires that the Old Ages offered. There were secrets left on told and answer to questions not yet asked. It was a surprise that no one had found this place yet. which made her mind start turning and a question entered her mind.

"Where is this settlement?" Dark Cloud asked as she looked over to CT.

"Well, it the Old ages standers its more of a city, but they called them settlements instead of cities until they knew it was for sure a city." CT said.

"What was this place like?" she asked him as he looked at her with his one eye.

"This place was called sanctuary. The last American City. It was supposed to be here but due to shifting of continents , this is what's left of it." He said.

"Shifting continents?” Dark Cloud asked.

“Yes the old age scientists believe that eventually the continents would form once more to form what they called a supercontinent named Pangea.” CT said as he floated by her side. “Just to show you here is a map of the world that the old ages lived in. Divided by the ocean. But they believed that when the supercontinent formed it would mark when the world would have to set aside their differences and come together to create worlds like no other. It was not meant to be ever since project Shadowfall.” He said as Dark Cloud ran the project name through her data base and found it and put it in her important folder she had created for anything important to her. She moved with him going through the city as they walked and Dark Cloud felt like she was being watched.

She quickly grabbed CT and pulled him to her chest in which if the small robot could blush from the sudden holding him he would. And arrow flew by and dug itself into a piece of metal that was in front of her as she mantled over it and took cover. She then pulled him away from her chest to see if he was okay and found that he was perfectly fine.

“You okay CT?” Dark Cloud asked him as she took the chance and took a peak only to have an arrow nearly hit her in the head.

“Yeah I am fine, but I detect 4 heat signatures in that spire. My data banks say that it was called the Empire State building. They are on the 12th floor.“ CT said he noticed that their shapes were familiar.

Dark Cloud stood up and ran towards the building while carrying her only companion with her. And she saw a shaft that went straight up to the floor she needed to go to. She hoped in started to fly, but saw an object coming down on top of her and went into the 4th floor almost being crushed.

“That was close.” Dark Cloud said. She got up and walked back to the shaft with CT floating by her side.

"My recommend that we take the left shaft since it has already collapse and it will get us up to the tenth floor where we can deal with the threat. Although their body structure looks familiar." CT said as he started to think on that.

She went up the shaft climbing it due to her wings being too big. As she climbed she saw a piece of debris coming towards her. She looked to her left and saw a pole she could grab onto and she jumped right before it could hit her.

"Well I did not realize this building had deteriorated so badly." CT said as if it was just a simple mistake.

"Well I would have loved to known that before I entered a rusted metal tunnel." Dark Cloud said with irritation.

"Elevator shaft not a tunnel. A tunnel would have been considered a mining shaft and it.." He was cut off by Dark cloud.

"Please don't become a dictionary I already have one of those in my head I don't need another one." She said as she continued to climb and dodge debris.

She had reached the top and jumped onto the the ledge and climbed up out of the elevator shaft. She was about to say we made it until an creature with a sword tried to swing at her, but she barely missed and grabbed the wrist of the weird creature that stood before her. They both struggled for the upper hand until dark cloud got her opening and punched the creature right in the jaw stunning him as she grabbed him and threw him down the shaft.

"What was that thing." She asked CT.

"I don't believe it. It was a human, but how?" CT asked.

"I don't know, but I think there maybe more near by." she said as she got close to the door way and peaked into the room. She kept looking until she heard on of them speak.

"Τι εννοείς? Έλεγξα την ανατολική πτέρυγα για εισβολείς. (What do you mean? I was checking the east wing for that intruder.)" One of the humans said as they conversated with one another.

"Λοιπόν το αφεντικό δεν θα είναι ευχαριστημένο με αυτό.(The boss will not be happy about this.)" The one in front of him said.

She moved to a set of boxes and took cover behind them and got ready for a fight.

"How many?" she whispered to CT.

"About 4. one of them is a high ranking officer by the looks of the one up on the balcony near that terminal." he said.

She readied her weapons and came up behind one and shot it in the back of the head killing it instantly. As the shot rang out and the body fell to the floor the rest of the humans looked at her and pulled out their weapons and opened fire and she ducked for cover behind a fallen pillar as arrows wised by her head.

"ΚΑΝΤΕ ΤΟ ΔΗΜΟΝΟ(GET THE DEMON)!" The larger one said as he pointed in her direction. She peaked over and opened fire killing one of the smaller ones.

"So these are the humans that created this place?" She asked.

"No they aren't. Well not exactly. It seems that Project Shadowfall must have had effects that the scientists must have over looked." CT said.

"Well at least we know what not to do." she said and opened fire again hitting the one on the left in the arm and head making him drop dead.

"Θα πληρώσετε για αυτόν τον δαίμονα!(You will pay for this demon!)" The human said before he all the sudden grew wings and jumped out the window and flew off.

"Um could humans always do that?" Dark Cloud asked.

"No. In human mythology they were called either demons or remnants due to them looking like what they were but looking far different in appearance." CT said as he read the description.

"Something tells me we will be seeing him again and that something is coming. Something dark and powerful." She said as she looked over the horizon see the ruins of the other buildings that had fallen over or were just stuck at an angle.

Author's Note

I will create chapters like these but there will be chapters between each character and things will happen with them until a certain event. Anyway hope you enjoy and I will keep pretending that these likes mean something.

Chapter 3: A New Awakening

Present

Shadowfall woke up from his sleep and got up and walked to the mouth of the cave to find three sleeping fillies and a burned out fire with the sun light peeking into the cave. He turned around and headed past the graves of his family and walked to the back of the cave where it came to a dead end. He approached the wall and put his paw on it while it emitted a red glow it soon turned green and the wall would move aside to reveal a room behind the wall. As he walked in the door would close behind him and the lights would turn on. He walked past the variety of equipment the laid scatter across the tables that littered the room. He came to a stop in front of another door.

"Access code C-7 0 0 4 2 6 6 G F F H Z A W, Omega Theta." Shadow said to the door as a ding was soon heard after.

"Access granted." a voice sounded off.

As the plates slide aside to reveal an armor set with scratches dents and scorch marks all over it. He picked up the helmet and pressed the button on the side making the visor close to find a crack on the visor as a memory flashed before him.

Obsidian Sea, six months before arrival

He stood there with his armor the visor covering his expression. He pressed the button on his helmet making the visor retract as this was it, the end game. Everything would come down to this. He stood on the platform of what was left of the base he created for the assault on the Volcanic Citadel. He could hear the army approaching and pressed the button on the side of his helmet making the visor cover his face. He readied his weapons and heard them all charge at him as he too charged as well and that's when the true battle started.

Present

He took a slow breath in and out before putting the helmet back and started to grab the other parts of his armor. Putting on his shoulder pads and noticed a light come to life on his shoulder watching as blue hexagons started to go down his foreleg as the rest of the armor would form itself. He went to a platform were mechanical arms put the chest plates on him. He remembered the speech he had given to the troops that wanted to fight against the Remnants and demons that plagued the land. As he got prepared he would here the speech in his head. Then with it the oath he swore to. As he spoke the oath with the speech he readied his weapons.

"From dust to dusk, from the ashes of the dawn. We keep life, but take it if we must, but not be given to fair punishment as we are the justice that justifies actions that can not be put into words. For we are the Demons, the angels, the heroes, and the villain's redemption and our deeds. The deeds done can be undone, but misdeeds can never be." He spoke as he placed the wrist blade on and activated it. As he continued.

"From the day of our deaths, till the day of life is resented, and the gods need not for us. We server only ourselves and what we serve is our self decisions to us and us alone." He said putting to final pieces of armor on.

"But until death be my end, till life guide me back to my grave, till the gods call for my corpse, till they walk me throw the storms of hellfire let my soul be my own and my own be my soul for it is my life as for it is incontrollable, unsustainable, unhindered, unnatural, and unbounded by laws of life freedom and death. This is my oath, my creation, my wish, and my request, as for I am the Sword; I am the shield, and I am the shadow that watches over the light." He finished as he went to the helmet and picked it up and spoke his final words. "and until death do us part our love shall flourish forever and let you not be thy evil nor by thy death: for I will follow where ever you lead me." He said putting on the helmet and the helmet began to glow and the lights on the armor glowed a blood red as the armor activated.

He then walked over to a tube where he saw a figure float in it as cables were hooked up to it.

"You will survive I will never leave you, not again. You saved me and now, it's my turn to save you." He said as he made his way to the door. as the lights turned off and the door closed.

??? P.O.V

I woke up my eyes fluttering open to see I was in a dark room. I was floating in a tube. Why could I not feel my legs. I looked at myself and saw something that horrified me as I let out a scream, but it made no sound as I was in some kind of liquid. After my little panic attack I noticed that my bottom half was missing. I looked behind me and saw I only had on of my wings. The other one was twisted at an odd angle. My Back legs had gotten light scorch marks at the base of where her legs used to be. My mind was racing with a million question. Where was I? Who am I? Why am I here? What happened to me? and a lot more questions that I would think of. I brought my only work appendage to my face and noticed that was what looked like a metal Skeleton paw, my paw. I flexed it and my claws extended and then retracted. As I brought my foreleg back in front of me I looked around and actually began to get scared.

"Where am I?" I said as the water or whatever I was In muffled my voice.

Shadowfall exited the facility and went to the grave with the helmet and pulled something from the back of the helmet. It was a chip of sorts. He plugged it in the back of his helmet. He saw data being stored in his helmet. He went to the mouth of the cave and found a group of ponies and the three fillies from last night he hid behind the rocks and listened in on their conversation.

"I have it hard to believe that a dragon saved ya'll from them Timberwolves." The tall orange pony said as it scolded the yellow one.

"But Apple Jack we ain't lien, it's true. A dragon did save us." the yellow one said to the bigger one known as Apple Jack.

"He was probably saving you kids for a morning snack." a blue flying horse said as she looked down at them.

"Rainbow Dash is right girls. This dragon probably saved you guys just to only eat you. They are carnivorous." the purple one said as it had a horn and wings, Which confused Shadowfall.

'Maybe they are just a rare breed'. Shadow thought to himself.

The one called Rainbow Dash then spoke again.

"If this dragon saved you guys then where is he?" she asked so he went to the back of the cave and jumped to the ceiling and hung there using the armor on his wings to make him seem invisible, but it was just his armor that made his see through. He covered himself with his wings as he could not see anything which was good. He soon pushed a button on his wrist and the armored webbing on his wings would soon allow him to see what is going on outside of his makeshift hiding spot. As he watched the Fillies and the mares walk to where his graves were of his families.

"He was right here when we went to sleep. We swear." The white filly said as the three's gazes went down.

The blue one known as Rainbow Dash went over to the helmet and picked it up and looked at it trying to as if the answer was in or on the helmet.

"This is just a piece of junk." she said as she threw it behind her. That was one of her biggest mistakes as it made Shadowfall snap and reveal himself as he dived bombed Rainbow Dash to the ground growling right up in her face. Only to throw her up against a wall, but not too hard though so not to hurt her only daze her.

Everypony in the room gasped at the sight of him. His helmet had formed itself and he walked over to the helmet and put it back on it's make shift pedestal. As he finished he snapped back around and grabbed the winged pony by her wing and immediately slammed her into the ground again. The glowing blood red metal wing's webbing on his right wing began to pulse rapidly. As his fury grew exponentially.

"I aught SNAP your neck here and now for what you just did." Shadowfall said as he snarled in her face.

He felt something hit him and turned to see that it was the purple one. He punched her in the gut making her yelp in pain before throwing her to just in front of the rest of their friends.

"IF ANY OF YOU DISRESPECT THIS PLACE AGAIN I WILL HAVE YOU GUTS DECORATING MY WALLS!" Shadow screamed at them.

He started to step forwards towards them until three fillies jumped in front of him.

"NO!"

"STOP!" The three fillies said which made Shadowfall stop in his tracks.

"Please don't hurt them they didn't know." The white one said.

"That doesn't matter you don't go into people's caves and touch everything." he said with murderous intent in his voice and eyes.

"Yeah, how they supposed ta know that ya live here if ya never been with anypony before?" The yellow one said stepping closer to him.

"I am sure if they knew what those were they would have left them alone." the orange one said getting closer to him as she laid a hoof on his metal foreleg which made him pause and a memory struck him.

Warfang, during the Dark Master's rule

"You need to rest." A dragoness said as she put her paw on Shadowfall pushing him down.

"No, I won't I have been through worse." Shadow said trying to get past her.

"Does getting stabbed by a claymore to the chest count as normal to you?" She asked with a deadpanned expression.

"It's more of an occasional thing." Shadow said as she finally let him go and allowed him to sit up while he let out a grunt of irritation more than pain.

"Well I better go put this in the record." She said, but when she looked at him she saw the rage building in his eyes as he starred at the makeshift bed he sat on. She put her paw on his foreleg and nuzzled him which made him snap out of his enraged state. He looked down at her as he noticed she was hugging him. She had a white scales with a black underbelly with emerald eyes. He called her Oreo for reasons, but he never knew her real name only that she preferred being called that.

"I know what your thinking." she whispered to him making him feel guilty, but he was hiding it. "My only question is why?" she asked him as they sat there she hugging him.

"Oreo...I..I.." Shadow Stuttered he couldn't bring himself to say it and she could feel it.

"You what Shadow? What is it?" she asked her emerald eyes meeting his glowing red slited pupils.

"I..I love you." He said as she just smiled.

"We have been together for almost three years and it took you that long to say it?" she said letting out a light chuckle.

"I have I just can't...." He was cut off by her kissing him.

Present

He soon snapped out of it his wing pulsing normally as it was. He was still in the cave. The orange filly still had her forehoof on him as he sat down. He soon came back to it and spoke in his usual strict tone.

"I will let it slide just this once, BUT if it happens again know this my mercy will be out the window fast than you can break the sound barrier 15 times over. Got it?" Shadow said with gritted teeth. They all nodded their heads in agreement except of course the one called Rainbow Dash which is currently unconscious.

"Well then now that that is out of the way mind tellin' us your name sugar cube, because I don't wanna just keep calling ya dragon." The Orange pony asked.

He grumbled in irritation before he thought of something.

"I will only if you tell me yours." He said with defiance. That's when he noticed the purple one speak up and walk forward.

"Well my name is Twilight Sparkle and these are my friends Apple Jack," She said gesturing to the Orange pony with the hat on her head. "This is Rainbow Dash," which was the unconscious one on the rocky hard floor. "Then there is Rarity, Fluttershy, and...." She paused when she noticed that one of them was missing. "Where is Pinkie Pie?" she asked in question looking around.

"Twi, I may know the answer to that?" the yellow filly said. "She said something about a new creature coming to ponyville soon or something like that and something about exposition, plot, and character development. Whatever that means?" The yellow filly said in confusion.

"Well when you meet Pinkie Pie, Sugar Cube, whatever weird stuff she does just tell yourself it's just Pinkie being Pinkie. It will save you the headaches." Apple Jack said.

"Now I do believe you owe us a name darling." The white one called Rarity said.

Shadow reached up for his helmet and undid the clamps that kept it attached to his armor and took it off revealing his face to everyone which made all of them gasp except the CMC. His face had many scares and his eyes were a blood red that gave off a soft glow as he spoke.

"My name is Shadowfall."

READ PLEASE THIS FIRST PART IT BE IMPORTANT

If it was not obvious how hard I worked on this Chap This took a lot of brain power because of how I wanted the main six to meet Shadowfall I thought this was the best option to do, but that option came with a price. My brain cells are on empty. SO I am putting this story on hold not because I am thinking of the story its because that this chap took a lot of my brain power and I am going to think how to move on from here so I am not one of the authors that just leave it on hold and never touches it again. I will come back so this is on hold will last up to about 3-5 days at most I will be making chapters

Again don't worry this story is not on hold because I am tired of it and want people to think I am thinking on it when I am really not. I am just trying to find where all my brain cells went. I really got to buy a jar for those. The day for my next Chapter release will be on 9/5 - 9/7/2020. What you thought I was going to say something like 2022. pft no thats when my Animation project trailer comes out ha such bafoons. Wait...I said that last part out loud. Uh oh...

This chap was supposed to be longer than what is is the plan was for it to be 5-8k words at most the least was 4k words. But due to some of it revealing too much....Information I removed it for story telling reasons.

This is I will only say this. This chap is important in ways that will not be on the surface. As my friend who also likes to make up stories once said clears throat

"At times to tell a good story you must leave holes in a plot so that they can be filled in by those who pick up the shovel and do the digging to find the true details that were the buried treasure beneath all of the simple details of the dirt and grass."

He sucked at saying stuff like this, but it makes sense when you think about it really hard. Like I mean really hard. Also he is an idiot

FYI i did this while writing an essay for Hamlet. and yes I am that amazing. LOL I am just saying that so you think I am.

Chapter Shadowfall: Birth of A Shadow

A dragon with black scales and a blood red under belly walked over to a table filled with scrolls and a helmet that had a visor that went across the front of it sat on the desk. As he picked up a small ink well and dipped his claw into it and took a piece of parchment and began to write.

“I could tell you who he is. Why he called himself Shadow Demon or his real name. But now is not the time nor place, but what I can tell you is that you need to understand what he is and that is something. Something that not even I like to talk about, but I feel like it is my duty to tell such a subject, but first we must start from the beginning long before time itself. A long time ago there was a war waged between the demons of hell and the Shadow Demon himself. A war that Would seemingly never end with the Demon. He would fight again and again. No matter how many times he died, no matter how many innocents he slaughtered he would always fight, and no matter how many times he would be beaten he would always get back up. This came with a piece a heavy price. One day a Master of darkness and dark magic would lay siege over the land that he had fought to protect, with his determination and never ending fury he had won the war and with his sacrifice came a piece of him brought down upon his mate Skywing; with a child that would be named, Shadowfall. Now, with his sacrifice came questions. Like why would a Demon save the great city of Dragons from their darkest hour? It was said, that a demon that swore an oath to protect until their death is called for march towards hell itself and would fight to the death and the birth of his child is the gift that he had given to us. To maybe live on through his legacy.”
Jason finished his writing and put the ink well back on the shelf in front of him. Letting out a sigh he looked back down at the letter.

He heard a door open and saw the only other dragon he cared for.

“Redo. What am I going to do? He sacrifices himself and I can’t even understand what to say.” Jason said.

“Maybe, but we both know that did it so we can live on. Pentagram was just the beginning and we both know that.” Redo said as he nuzzled Jason.

“Well for one thing Sky will not be happy to know you aren’t watching him.” Jason said with a smirk as he saw the flustered expression on his face. With an oh no he darted out of the room and immediately returning to the room.

“She’s already here you dipshit.” Redo said with irritation as Jason just let out a laugh.

“That was too good.” Jason said

Skywing sat there with the sleeping form of Shadowfall, as she looked at him she thought of him. He was strict, serious, brutal, and mostly, just lost. She remembers the stories that he would tell her about what he did. To say that she was disgusted at first would be an understatement, she was straight up terrified after that and even then that would be an understatement. She had gotten used to it after awhile and things would slowly go smoother and she was happy for that.

Jason, Redo, and Dark Cloud settled in the city pretty quickly. Even despite the amount of hate that that they get from others. Dark Cloud just stood there when she was told to sit down, she just, stood there. She had to be honest it creeped her out. Jason, however would always return with blood all over him, but she never questioned it due to the fact that she would always her about other dragons going missing. Redo, he was. Well, she did not know what to say about him besides his randomness and the fact that he makes things appear out of no where. Then she looked down at Shadow, sleeping hatchling as he had his little head was in her chest as she laid on the coach that, yes, redo pulled out of a closet that was the size of..well, Jason. Which a normal adult dragon. As she sat there staring at Shadow she saw everything about Shadow Demon, in Shadowfall. She noticed him stirring in his sleep and eyes opened to reveal red slited pupils that she knew. He had everything from the scale color and design, all the way to his eyes. His tail blade being the only real difference it being in the shape of a scythe. She wished that he could have met him that was her only wish.

I know this is a bit short I know I know but I need to get this out there so I can get a kick start up back. I am back with new ideas and ne parts of the story so I hope you enjoy them.

Chapter Jason: Another Spree

Jason was walking with Dark Cloud as she walk next to him on their usual stroll through the city. He looked around at everything thinking really hard about his normal routine. When his eyes settle on Dark Cloud, the war machine looked straight ahead without blinking, quite literally.

“So cloud what you thinking about?” He said with his usual chipper tone dispute doing things in the city that would have you executed on the spot.

“I have been thinking, about all of this. How is everyone just fine with the fact that a Literal Demon saves them.“ Dark Cloud said as she just kept looking straight ahead.

“Well it’s like Shadow Demon always said “Pedicabo ego vos“.” He said to Cloud in which when he looked back at her he received a punch in the face which just made Jason jump a bit.

“What was that for?” He asked

“You know what also fuck you too.” She said still in the same robotic tone she always uses.

“Anyway, why did you come out here with me?” He asked looking at her. She then started to lean closer to him as he leaned closer to her.

“Don’t think for a second that I don’t know that your the dragon behind these murders.” She whispered which made Jason’s face turn into confusion.

“Um, how did you know?” He asked which just got an expression from Dark Cloud that screamed you fucking idiot.

“Need I remind you, that your the reason the shower is covered in blood.” She said which got a confused Jason.

“Um, wait? Why do you go in the shower?” He asked.

“That is of not your concern. What you should be concerned about is the fact that your blood red body can’t hide the blood forever.” She said as she walk away.

“I have gotten away with. Hold on let me think.” He said as he started to do incorrect math in his head.

“Sir, you have gotten away with 27 murders.” She said.

“So, am I supposed to be worried about that? They will never find out its me.” He said confidently which only made Cloud face paw at his stupidity.

“Well I hope so other wise we will have to move. Again.” She said slapping him upside the head.

“Will you stop that?” He said.

“Once I knock all of your stupidity out of you.” She said as she slapped him again.

“Okay, okay I get it be more careful. Jeez.” He said as they both walked into the market. As other creatures were selling all sorts of items. Dark Cloud stopped and reached into her side and pulled out a bag of gems and tossed it to Jason.

“Knock yourself out.” She said as Jason’s eyes lit up. Until he paused.

“What about you?” He asked.

“I have guard duty at the temple while you do, well, you.” She said as she spread her wings and with one big flap. She took off and activated her thrusters and took off. Leaving a confused Jason with one question.

“How did you even get a job?”

He shook his head and just walked away to a stand that was selling meats which he paid half of the pouch for. With a snap of his fingers which made the meats disappeared. He continued through the market until he smelled something. Until he quickly threw up a shield as a fire ball exploded on impact. When the smoke cleared he saw something that was ugly as fuck which was his word choice.

“Damn! You ugly as fuck.” Jason said as the creature before him jumped from the roof and landed.

“Where is he?” The figure asked.

Where’s who now?” He asked in confusion.

“WHERE IS THE DEMON?!” The figure yelled as he quickly raised up his hand throwing a fire ball in Jason’s direction.

“Oh shit!” He said as he dived the the left. The fire ball went flying past him exploding on impact with the wall.

Jason started to draw symbols in the dirt.

“I don’t know he left like awhile ago.” He said as he held up a shield as another fire ball hit the shield he threw up yet again.

“I will be willing to tell you though. He is!” He yelled pausing until he said a bunch of words that would make no sense to anyone but him, Cloud, and the others.

“η πανοπλία μου με προστατεύει μέχρι θανάτου!” Jason yelled as black and red armor would form on his body helmet that had no visor would. He then looked at himself.

“Wow, demon magic actually worked.” He said as he then heard a battle cry. As he just let out a sigh, he grabbed the figure and slammed him into the ground throwing it into a wall.

Another ball of fire would come flying at him only to hit him and it explode. Everyone gasped at the fact a dragon was killed right in front of them. As the smoke cleared the noticed a blue dome around the armored dragon.

“It took you long enough. Your shield is no Shadow Demon shield but it will do.” Jason said As he noticed the Cloud was staring at him.

“I will lower this shied and let him hit you.”

“No he is all yours.” Jason gestured to the figure.

When Jason looked back he saw she was gone then heard an explosion. Letting out a frustrated sigh he walked off with his armor still on but his helmet retracting.

“I better go get mason and tell him he will have a long day today.” Jason said as he walked off.

He heard the ringing of a bell as he entered the store. A head poked up and noticed him.

“Oh Jason what can I do ya for?” Mason asked only to get one response which Mason hated.

“Two words. Dark Cloud.” Jason deadpanned.

Mason was a dragon that had blue scales with a dark blue under belly.

“Well since it’s her again I better...” Mason was cut off by a loud explosion. Letting out a frustrated sigh he got the tools he would need and pulled out a umbrella.

“Might as well enjoy the show.” Mason said as he walked upstairs followed by Jason, his armor slowly retracting itself back onto the demonic runes that were in his body.

A door opened to a balcony that had a table with a bar nearby that he had specifically made for these occasions.

“Well might as well enjoy it while we can.” Mason said as he set the umbrella down into the stand as Jason snapped and two cushions appeared.

“We may be here awhile.” Jason said as the sudden appearance of the cushions.

“What? How do you think I made Shadow Demon behave?” Jason asked.

“I assumed you just, I don’t know, like hold him over a cliff.” Mason said.

“What no. I just dropped him, but he would just climb back up and his fits would turn into cute outbursts.” Jason said.

“Anyway, let’s just enjoy the show.” Jason said as the watched as they both looked up at the sky as Dark Cloud just repeatedly punch the figure in the face.

Author's Note

This chapter concerning the story is somewhat of a filler chapter. It is supposed to explain who and what each character is and what part they play.

If you get confused work with me. The antagonist’s name has only been said once by the way. The story is just now starting.

Be ready for the next one it is going through editing phase it is a long one. So it will take longer.

And Shadowfall and Dark Cloud are keys but the character ???. She is refusing to talk might be due to I put her in a tube of liquids.

Chapter Origins: Project Shadowfall

A bipedal creature walked through the halls running as quick as he could to a meeting he was late for again. He kept going until he came to a door that he put his hand on it which made the panel turn green and the door opened. As he entered he composed himself as he started to hear the chief scientist talk to the high council.

“Sir, I promise you the Project will work we promise just get everyone down into shelters that we created for this project no changes or adjustments will be made we have one path and so little time. We can’t afford any delays.” He finished he turned to his presenter.

“And I have Professor Jason ready to present the project and he will fill you in on the details.” He said as Jason stepped forward.

“Thank you.” He said as he stepped up seeing all the generals and President Nichols was present as well.

“Please, Professor go on with the presentation.”one of the generals said.

“Well as you know most of the fighting is above us in our own territory. We may have a solution or solutions to be exact. Just recently as we were expanding the facility we found two eggs that do not match any known dinosaur egg recorded in history. So it got us thinking it could be a new discovery, but when we analyzed it, we found out that they were dragon eggs.” Jason said.

“You expect us to believe you found mythical creatures in the dirt when at our peak of our power we never could find one?” A general which was from England asked as he looked very skeptical.

“That was our first reaction too, but we found that apparently there was an age before the dinosaurs. So we called it the “Hell Fire age”. An age named after the myth that a dragons fire was as hot as the pits of hell. Now your probably wondering ‘yes you found eggs what does this have to do with our solution?’ I have the solution.” Jason said.

“Mind explaining Professor?” The president asked with curiosity in his eyes.

“Of course mister President. It means that everything we asked, we question we theorized. It was all true. Every single detail. We found out that a dragons weakness was its stomach for both genders due to the scales being touch and none flexible and we also found out that their scales are invincible to modern day weapons. 50 cals. Doesn’t even make a dent.” He said as an American general asked what he hoped would never be asked.

“I think I speak for all of us when I ask. How the hell did it get in our country, why not somewhere else? If these creatures were damn near invincible, then where they all go?“ he asked

“We have a theory while they had indestructible scales, their body was very susceptible to pain. One shot to the stomach and they would go down. Enough time for humans to kill them. We may have an idea for a project. We have three modes of what we want to make.” He said as a holographic appeared before everyone.

“We are planning on making a machine, three types. The Alphas, Thetas, and the Omegas. Small, medium, and large.” Jason finished.

“de quelle taille parlons-nous?” The French general asked which made Jason confused.

“He says what size are we talking about?” A women said as she relayed the translation to him.

“We are talking, when it comes to the Omegas? About I don’t know somewhere between 2-3 stories tall for the Omegas. With enough fire power to take out a whole platoon of infinity and aerial units out within I don’t know, couple of hours at most.” Jason said.

“Now as for the Thetas they are used for troop and vehicle deployment. We have a project for a Theta called “Project Dark Cloud”.” He said as a holo image appeared showing a half built dragon while having other worker bots putting pieces of metal and wielding the wires together. It’s eyes where lifeless as it stared straight ahead at nothing.

“Well I’ll be. We may have a chance.” A general Spoke up while the others were surprised.

“We have some alphas already in testing. One is standing out from the rest, which is concerning some of the engineers.” Jason said as a picture of the Alpha appeared.

The Alpha in question was short. It only went up to Jason’s mid section and he was 5’ 8 which wasn’t very tall in his standers, but he might have been the shortest, but his knowledge made up for that. It showed the black and maroon body as the top of its tail had a shape of a scythe at the end of it. It showed footage of how quick, agile, and smart it was.

“And how is this concerning?” The U.S general asked with interest.

“It means they could become self aware. While that is bad we think we may have a solution to this problem as well. It’s a digital conscious transfer or DCT for short. It means we transfer a human conscious over to a machines and allow them to live on we never have to worry about losses. With this we are creating pilots for the Thetas and Betas to control the Alphas.” He said as he pushed a button which made two humans appear as they trained with machines made for training elite units.

“Is there a catch?” A general asked.

“Yes, the catch is, neural linking technology. Which is something we have trouble with. I have volunteered myself for this project and it has seen some successful results. All we need now is a miracle and some time.” Jason said as he made the holo image disappear as he walked out and to the Alpha’s testing room.

The Alpha’s code name was Reaper. Jason saw how the Alpha stared with half opened eyes at the wall as he was deactivated.

“I hope you do well. We are counting on you.” He said before he walked out and turning off the light. He failed to notice his right eye began to glow purple as it stirred in its stationary slumber.

“I am the Demon”

Chapter 4: Royal Introductions (Redesigned)

Shadow woke saw the darkness around him. He soon came to set his eyes on a door that is in the middle of the void. He went to push the cutting for his helmet, but found nothing. He looked at himself and realized that his armor was missing and his bare scales were showing. He let out an irritated growl at the fact that he was exposed.

He walked up to the door cautiously. He put his paw on it and opened it. It opened to a balcony over looking a fiery landscape with with bipedal creatures with dragon like wings on their backs as the swarmed around a castle. Shadowfall’s expression went flat.

“What’s wrong? Don’t like to be home?” A voice that he hated said as a dragon with black scales and a dark purple underbelly with four horns on his head; the smallest ones being on the outside while the bigger ones were towards the center.

“Not when your here.” Shadow said as he watched the dragon come to sit at a table with two cups on it. He took his set and gestured to the set across from him.

“I am here on....um...important business.” He said as Shadow came to sit next to him.

“And what business might that be exactly? Another one of your deals?” Shadow spat.

“Nah, no. That was with your father Shadow Demon. Yeah, he was a huge dick, but he kept me busy. So who am I to complain.” The dragon said

“Then tell me Pentagram, why are you here?” Shadowfall asked as he picked up the cup and drank from it realizing that it was tea.

“Straight to the point I see. Well, if you must know, I have been keeping a watch on, him lately and he is getting skittish. So I will ask once and only once. What did you do? This is good tea, I should drink more.” Pentagram asked as he put the cup down.

“I did nothing ever thought that something may be a part of your own faults for once instead of being a piece of shit and blaming it on someone else or is that beyond what you tiny brain can do?” Shadow said which made him turn to Pentagram only to be pick up by the neck and held over the edge of the balcony.

“I would love nothing more to drop you over the edge of this balcony.” Pentagram said as he held shadow over the side. Shadow kept struggling in his grip as Pentagram held him over the edge.

“But I know how much your need to me then you think.” Pentagram said as he shook Shadow.

He then threw Shadowfall to the ground and brought his foreleg onto his back, making Shadowfall yelp in pain.

“You forget how really weak you truly are.” He said as he pick shadow up by his wings. “Do you really think if given the chance you could kill me, you only ever fought evils that I was not allowed to deal with myself and that’s why I sent them you. Your violent nature is what keeps you alive. Your no Shadow Demon, but you will have to do until that old lizard wakes from his slumber. If I can find the little prick.” Pentagram said as he dropped a dazed Shadowfall to the ground.

“So small, so weak, and so much pathetic waste of my time, but again I have use for you. If you are so strong why don’t you ever get back up? Get back up and actually fight me, but you can’t. Never could and never will.” He said until he heard coughing and Shadow finally spoke.

“You still do your little dialogues, thinking your the Alpha, you forgot. You may be the alpha, but I am the OMEGA!” Shadow yelled as he sprung up and kick Pentagram to the railing as
He tackled him over the side. Activating the thruster on his wing he spun around once before he threw him into the ground.

He came to land a couple of feet away from the crater. When he caught his breath he saw a fire ball come at him, he acted quickly by slamming his forelegs into the ground as a red shield in front of him and the exploded on impact sending him sliding back a couple of feet. As he steadied himself he noticed that he was in a colosseum where a crowd a Demons. He heard a voice speak up from the dust.

“Demons and imps, an actual challenge that will regret he EVER EXISTED!” Pentagram said as he spread out his wings letting out a roar that made Shadow cover his ears. As he saw pentagram charging him head on.

‘Why does everyone insist on charging me head on?’ Shadow thought as he readied himself. Pentagram was inches from him. Shadow quickly jumped to the side as he made a quick and hard flap of his wings he slammed his back legs into the side of Pentagram’s face, sending him flying into a wall. As he stared at the cloud of dirt he saw two blood red eyes stare back at him. As another roar accompanied it as Pentagram’s size increased.

The top of his wings grew claws at the end of them. As his scales started to glow a orange and red as he stared down Shadowfall as he just stared back. Pentagram towered over Shadowfall as his Shadowfall’s full height only allowed him to go half the size of a full grown unicorn, which he did not care about his size.

“I remember when you came to me after you had nothing left. The day you said you wanted power revenge.” Pentagram’s voice had become demonic and sounded of as if more voices were repeating what he said.

“And it seems I pissed my employer off!” Shadowfall yelled back as that comment only pissed him off even more. As he saw Pentagram charge him as Shadowfall did the same as Shadowfall grew a smile on his face as he jumped up a couple of inches in the air and curled up into a ball as he spun towards Pentagram as Shadow’s body was engulfed by fire and spinning than anyone could see slammed right into the chest of Pentagram as he was sent across the arena. As Shadow came to land on the ground uncurling from his ball he stood up as the crowd cheered. He walked up to the place where Pentagram should be, but he saw he was missing. He quickly turned around to block Pentagram’s attack but was slammed into the wall as he felt himself being lifted up and slammed into the ground. He then felt himself get hit up into the air as he soon felt Pentagram deliver a blow to his side as Shadow was sent across the arena.

Shadowfall laid there old scares reopened and his body feeling constant pain that he knew too well, it was all he knew. He then heard a voice enter his head.

“Life is a gift, not a curse. It is only the way we use, treat, and offer this gift, is it then we unlock the meaning behind the gift.” A male voice said as it was followed by another.

“Good and evil are just sides fighting for the same goals, the only difference? Is the way one side uses what they have earned.” It was followed by one final voice he recognized.

“Shadowfall remember there is no good or evil, light or dark. There is only our deeds that make us what we are seen by others, it is their views that what makes you a side, but it is your choice if the side you choose is the right one. There is no good or evil, only a choice, on what you see as the right thing.” A female voice said.

He began to move as he felt pain all across his body. He saw that Pentagram was close to him. He was picked up by the throat and held in front of him as he let out a laugh.

“You thought you could stand a chance against me? I have lived for far more millennium than that Demon. I was king until he took over the armies of hell and unleashed his fury upon the dragon city.” Pentagram said as a smile grew on his face.

“And for the record I took great pleasure in taking the life of them all for you.” Pentagram whispered in his ear as Shadowfall’s rage increased as his scales flowed red as symbols appeared on his shoulders, chest, and wings as he let out a roar that made Pentagram drop Shadow as he landed on the ground and jumped up bringing his back legs up and delivered a flurry of kicks to to his head making him stager back until Shadow latched onto the back of Pentagram’s neck as his right foreleg flowed as he outstretching it, a wrist blade that was blood red appeared as he stabbed it into the neck of Pentagram. Pulling out he went up to his horns while trying not to get knocked off. He swung up cutting his horn off. Letting the blade go away, he let the horn land in his paw, gripping it in his paw he raised it and stabbed it into his Pentagrams eye making him roar out in pain.

Shadow jumped off landing a couple of meters away from Pentagram. Shadowfall let out a roar as the symbols on his body flowed brightly, and black armor with blood red lining going through out the armor. His wings had armor covering the webbing of his wings. When he turned around Pentagram was gone. He turned around again and only saw the darkness, the endless void. Shadowfall sat down and noticed the armor that was on him.

“Why did you enter my head?” Shadowfall said with murder in his voice.

“You know why dragon.” A female voice said as he turned to face a pony with a dark blue coat with a stary mane and tail, as she had both a horn and wings.

“I assume introductions are in order, because you can forget it.” Shadowfall said.

“You need not tell me your name for your little confrontation was me using this pentagram character to look in your memories.” The pony said as an idea came to his head.

“If that’s the case see you in the waking world.” Shadowfall said as he made a standard assault rifle appear as he pointed at himself and fired.

Shadowfall shot up as he looked around and found himself on a couch in some sort of home. He made to look at himself and looked just in time to see the armor going back into the symbols where they came from. Letting out a sigh he heard voices which made him look up. He threw the blanket off of himself as he got up only to fall down. Why was he bandaged up. All he remembered was being In pain then that dream with the pony and now this. He looked at the couch in thought.

“What happened to me?” He asked as he a gasp and turned to see the same group of ponies as before standing there three of them in a defensive stance.

He got in a defensive stance as well ready for anything that came at him. He decided to break the silence.

“What happened to me?” Shadowfall asked trying to sound calm. He noticed confused expressions on their faces as the orange one walked up and spoke.

“Ya tellin me that ya don’t remember a thing?” The pony named Applejack Asked as he calmed down a bit which he noticed the purple unicorn and the cyan pony calm down a bit the cyan one was not showing it, but Shadow could read that she was
More at ease.

“No mind telling me what happened then?” Shadow asked as he noticed on thing was missing.

“Wait? Where is my cybernetic?” Shadow asked looking around when he did not hear a response he noticed their confused expressions. He raised the stub that was his right wing. It soon clicked and the yellow pony, Fluttershy, walked in carrying it with her. As he saw it his eyes went wide as he noticed that it was heavily damaged.

Parts of the webbing had been destroyed or beaten and dented. While the main lining was bent upwards as sparks of electricity shot from it. He felt a since of sadness over come him. As he had one response.

“I can fix this later. Now, tell me what happened.” He said which made them kinda worried.

“You um kind went on a rampage after
you passed out.” The cyan Pegasus said, but the purple pony’s answer is what caught his attention.

“Yeah, and your eyes started to have red and purple fumes coming from sides of them.” The purple one said.

“What did you say?” Shadow asked walking to the unicorn.

“Your eyes, the were red and purple. Is that bad?” The purple unicorn said as he growled in frustration.

“I know the reason behind this.” Which made every pony look at him.

“Do any of you know a pony that is dark blue, contains both wings and a horn?” Shadow asked them which all of them nodded in which the purple one known as twilight spoke up.

“That’s Princess Luna, why?” Twilight asked.

“Let me tell you magic users for future reference so that you don’t cause what your Princess caused. If a Shadow Demon’s memories are attempted to be looked at or tampered with it will cause us, or me, to go on a rampage until they leave or the owner finds a way to kill him or herself in the dream.” Shadowfall finished.

“And yes I am aware I am a demon, but I am a special type of demon.” Shadowfall finished.

“And one more thing.” Shadowfall said which made them look at him.

“I wish to see the damage. Please.” He said as deep down he felt guilt. He did not know what was wrong with him he had feelings again, but why. He pick up his broken wing off the ground and walked with the group of ponies to see what he knew would be a disaster.

I rewrote this chapter because to me it needed a better direction to follow that what I at first intended.

I wished the pro final version was better then what my original plan was. The original was to quick to out of the blue. And overall came with more questions than answers. As for chapter orders there is a certain order they go in. As a wise person once said.

“T......is......dio.....log..There we go. As I was saying this is log 4 7 1 2 6 0 5 Project Dark Cloud Theta Class war machine. This project was a success, but we just received word that the war at the surface was lost. It hurts to know that we were this close. This close, but just not enough people and time. I suggested to the others that we finish the project. We already lost the Alpha we made that the axis powers called the Shadow Demon, for its ability to use the shadows to its advantage. The funny thing is that one was hatched by the egg. We just fixed the little guy up with some human engineering and we had a living and fire breathing dragon. But our worst fears came to pass. He became self aware before we could give the truth. The human mind has to be lead onto the fact that he or she was once human. But again I suggested that we finish Dark Cloud as a gift to the future. To hopefully protect the future earth and not destroy it. We just need to make some final adjustments and then the testing phase can begin. We are also creating a friend that will help her. We are calling him CT-09983.

Breath Taker (Don't ask why I made this)

Hello everyone, god I hate the phrase (major PTSD activate). Anyway jokes aside I want to make current events clear whiteout giving too much away.

Shadowfall a dragon from a world where life was once covered in metal and smoke, but following the event that would end the old ages Dragons would now Rome the earth(see what I did there get it “Rome”. Please don’t hurt me).
Shadowfall is a type of dragon that specializes in stealth, combat, killing, and other militaristic activities. It is unknown how Shadowfall got as strong as he is despite his size. He is only three quarters of a full grown adult unicorn’s height. He had a life before he became what he is but he has put that behind him and moved on. He has lived for decent amount of time. Being born from his mother which was a mortal being, but his father being a Demon, or better known as the Shadow Demon. It has been said in ancient scripts that Shadow Demon’s strength match that “of thousand armies” making him a force to be reckoned with.

Shadowfall would be present during most of the Uprising that would be a part of a group that wished to bring the Old Ages back. A war would be waged with Shadowfall being a part of a legion that was to be the force that was supposed to clear a way for the rest. He was the shortest so he was made fun of for his size. He took it upon himself to keep training himself leading up to the battle. He grouped up with the rest of the force he was assigned to without his armor only a sword and grabbed a bow and arrows. Getting teased for not being able to use them.

The fight would last for hours with Shadowfall always in front getting kill after kill as head lead the charge, but he would be the only one to survive the fight as he had cleared the hole way through the entire base. He stood up on the watch tower with the flag in had as he burned it and planted the their flag on the pole. As everyone was amazed at his strength.

Now 50 years later he is a finds that his father had ten times the amount of power that he possessed. he would eventually meet up with Dark Cloud, Jason, and Redo as he would be taught by Dark a cloud and Jason How to fight and increase his power and would be given all the technology that Dark Cloud has for him to use. Times would go on as the war would take its toll until the final battle he would loose Dark Cloud during the evacuation of the citadel. Eventually by unknown means he appears in Equestria where he now has lived here since the Everfree forest had first been abandoned without knowing of the ponies.

So that is the current story. I have been getting an awful a lot of questions and hopefully this clears some of those questions with answers. And just a heads up this is an ongoing story this is as far as I have gotten with the story already being made.

So I hope this doesn’t give too much away but just enough to help you grasp the story while keeping some of the characters in the dark of who they are.

I hope you are enjoying this little story I have created for its been reworked I kid you not at least 57 times due to how these characters work the way I wanted them to act look and appear. Wa the hard part telling it is a hole different story to tell.

Chapter 5: Time To Think

Badlands deep underground

A voice rang through a metal hallway as it spoke to an unknown creature. Its voice sounding like grinding metal and flesh as its mouth opened and closed sound of flesh shifting could be heard. It was massive as it had multiple tentacles coming from its body. As it spoke to the Creature in front of it.

"You see not what I have.....foreseen. It is filled with the same metal and smoke as the time before." the creatures voice spoke deep and with the sound of grinding metal and flesh shift as its mouth opened and closed. "I have lived time and time again only to see a world's destruction and then, I am birthed again. To watch over the ashes that spread new life only for me to take it." it finished as the mouth was the only feature on its head as it opened like a flower as a row of Sharpe jagged yellow teeth could be see as the flaps of its mouth stayed open as he talked.

"Yet here I am talking to you. Why did you bring me here? I know it was not because you were lonely. So, why?" the creature asked.

"I know of your abilities, your ability to copy anything and anyone that you see." the giant said as he brought the creature closer to him.

"First off I would have to kill them second of all its a lot more complicated than that." he said as his static sounding voice was heard.

"and what might that be?" the giant said.

"For one, I would have to kill them and then gut them like and animal and then skin them. Only thing that would be left would be the skeleton." he said to the giant as their conversation continued.

"I brought you here because I felt a presence that only one being can create that much power." The giant said as he put the creature down. He noticed that it resembled a bipedal creature from the old ages, but he had his left leg replaced with a metal one that resembled a wolfs back leg and his right arm was replaced a a multipurposed cybernetic that ended in a claw more than a hand.

"I have sat here listening and waiting, with patience, I have listened through the metals in which populate this world. It is not ready for what's coming its way and, it will never be ready.

Ponyville

Shadowfall looked around at the ruins of the town full well knowing that he would be blamed for it. He heard someone crying for a doctor under normal circumstances he would just ignore it, but this world had no power over him so he was a free drake, kind of. He walked though the town some of its citizens looked at him in fear knowing that he was dangerous and he was still glad he had that affect on even these ponies. He saw that a group of pony medics were trying to get off a piece of wood that was stabbed into a stallion's leg. He had heard what he was about to do was forbidden in this world like his home world, but he would have to do it. He pushed everypony asides and saw the damage. a brought up his foreleg and made a ball of dark magic appear in it. and crushed it making a blade appear in his paw that had purple flames coming off of it. He raised it up the stallion freaking out and then shadowfall Swung cutting a part of the wood off and and only left the stub.

"This is going to hurt. A lot." Shadowfall said as he ripped out the rest making the stallion scream in agony. He made another orb of dark magic appear as he pressed it up against the hole in his leg as the blood and the hole started to disappear from sight until on a scar was left in its place. Everypony jaws were agape at the sight of what he just did. He turned and walked away when he heard the sound of hooves behind him he heard the voice of twilight.

"How did you do that? What magic did you use? How d....." she was haulted by Shadowfall with two words that scared her.

"Dark magic." he said as he walked away from the scene and walked through the town. He came to stop in the middle of the square next to a water fountain. He looked into the water at his reflection as he thought back then when everything was simpler, before the end of everything.

Shadowfall sat on a roof top overlooking the city. As he saw the volcano, well what was left of it, he thought of how he had lost everything. He kept looking at it until an explosion caught his ears. He quickly pushed the side of his helmet and the armor would form around his chest and back as he jumped from roof to roof. He came to a stop at the source and sat there getting low to the ground as he watched and waited. Until a machine he thought would never be activated came from the smoke.

"Omega-15, Online systems functioning at 100%" the Omega said as he looked at it. The multiple eyes soon locked on him.

"Unauthorized unit detected. Project code name: Reaper. Protocol 7 g q 1 1 7 a f z. Initialized." The Omega said as One of its cannons started glowing as it fire the bolt just barely missing him as he jumped off the roof to the ground. He got in a defensive stance.

"Unit 3 7 7 8 9 4 x e, your are to be terminated for abandonment of fellow troops and treason. Judgement: Termination ". The Omega said as its machine guns opened fire at him in which he ducked behind a piece of rubble that had landed near him and big enough to give him covering fire.

He jumped out pulling out his SMRL(shoulder mounted rocket launcher), and fired hitting it square in the chest making it fall backwards not moving. He got up thinking he had won until the ground started to shake and the Omega stood up although upside down it rotated all the way around to face him moved itself so that it would be right side up. As it yet again opened fire upon him. He never knew how to beat these things only how to knock them down. Until he noticed that its coolant vents opened up to let steam out. he took the chance and fire at it and it seemed to do the trick. As it was more sluggish and slower than it was. It opened again and he fired again and it finally went down as it sputtered and then exploded. As the smoke cleared he walked over to it and found something that caught his eye. A red glowing sphere was in the main CPU port where the central computer was. He pulled it out and then red lines started to surround him.

"WARNING, WARNING, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS DETECTED. ACCESS DENIED. REROUTING ALL MAIN FUNCTIONS." The voice said until it let out a couple of sparks and self destructed.

He thought of how it all began with that final sentence he would reveal why he could never use magic to all of the city. He could use dark magic and it was a forbidden magic. He would just have to wait and see what came next for him. He needed time to think so he went to the only place he could think of. He noticed that his chest plate was still on and pushed the side of his head and his helmet formed. He was going to take off into the sky, but remembered about his missing appendage. So, he opted just to walk the way over to his little home away from home.

This was actually took a lot of reworks to get right so sorry for the long wait. its not a long one but I had multiple ways to make this better but I decided to play this one and the next one safe.

Twilight walked through the cave that Shadowfall lived in and was stumped at the door and then looked to the helmet. She walked to the helmet and picked it up and started to brushed her hoof around the helmet as if the key would be in there. Until she heard a click and it began to light up and as it did so it made Twilight jump in surprise and drop the helmet and she saw who it belonged to and she felt dwarfed compared to this dragon. It was as tall if not taller than Celestia. Until it spoke and it confused her.

I have been thinking of recent years lately, and even though its against my programming, I still, think. The concept of thinking to my creators was the act of their brains picturing scenarios and the process of processing information. I think I have a better term for it. Thinking is what makes a person or in my case, dragon, to make choices on what's in front of them. It was something I never considered, but this, feeling grows on me at a slow speed, but I feel it as my processors are more open to information than they were used to. This feeling is odd to say the least, it consists of subconscious thinking and acting to the action of this information. But, Shadow, Shadow does not think. At least he does not show it. He tries to hide his feelings, but slowly I can see the Demon that I know slowly fall to the hearted dragon he used to be. But that is not my place to say, that is his, not mine."

"This is Journal Entry-07082 Code name: Bravo-Tango, Omega-7

A conflict between an old decommissioned Omega class Machine was activated in the city square today at 0900 hours. The destruction was average at most and there were only minor injuries. The council tried to put the blame on Shadowfall, but I told them that it was a Decommissioned that had gotten an awakening order from somewhere or it was accidently awoken by the detection of life and the fact that he was wearing the armor I had given him. The armor was still in its data banks so it mistaken it for him being a thief. It was hard to do so seeing how the entire city blames him after that. Shadowfall lashed out a a group and his argument was quite sound. He claimed that if it weren't for him stepping in the city would have been leveled and that next time he would not step in to save them. This city is not in its data banks so it was not registered as an allied territory and would have most likely start to attack the city. It was quickly taking care of by blasting the vents on the top half of its mount section where the main weapon systems are located on the Omega. In other news we had stopped a group of dragons trying to scavenge the Omega for parts. Shadow was not pleased to say the least. I think if it weren't for me, He would have killed all three of them.”

Shadowfall was on edge, for what reason? I don’t know and it’s not my place to ask either. He has been talking about a war in his sleep and this has been going on for like a week at most. I...feel, concerned for him. He hates fighting, it’s all he has ever known, was war and death. Of course it was mostly Pentagram’s fault. He was the one that spoke to him in the dream realm. We have to sadly hold him down when that happens because he will go on a rampage if he isn’t somewhere he can’t control himself.

We found the old project blue prints, but could not read or touch them s not to risk the decentration of the prints. We have decided to leave them there for now. There is not much to say other than our finding.

Chapter 6: A Final Conversation

??? P.O.V

I floated for endless hours it felt like I would never get to leave. I was trapped in my watery prison. I looked around pondering what happened before all of this. Images entered my mind again and again. I had visions of battles and fights then one caught my attention. It was more of a file I guess, it read..

"Project Reaper." I read to myself.

The name was familiar, but I just can't remember where from though. It was under so much clouded thoughts and memories like a bunch of puzzle pieces I had to put them in place. This was not an easy task to do. Before I could finish my mental task something happened. My eyes widened and rolled to the back of my head as I found myself in a metal room.

I looked at myself and found my back legs where there. I got up and tested them and found out that they worked, but my silence was short lived as I heard a banging sound come from the end of the hallway. When I walked up to the Door It opened and what I saw made my mouth hang open. I was standing at the edge of what was left of a mountain. There were metal beams, supports, cables, and other wiring jutting out form the rock and metal remains. I soon heard a roaring noise and a flapping sound. I saw the source and saw that It was something like me. I looked at it until I got a glimpse of what looked like writing on the side and it read. 'Titan Class EG-1 0 3 5'.

Then I was teleported somewhere else in a field or what was left of it. I grabbed some of the sandy substance and realized that it was ash and that's when a name entered my head

"Sea Of Ash" I said before I felt something grab my back leg and was pulled upside down. I heard a voice speak through the Ash storm and it was low and sounded like metal and flesh mixed together as more voices sounded and spoke with it.

"I have never thought we would meet again. Trial and error has lead your fate here, to me. My time is coming and there will be nothing standing in my way. For I am creation and I am the life giver and I am The HIVE MIND." The voice said that I think was called Hive Mind.

"When the Titan rises, So. Shall. I. With the sun at my peak and the world at my base." The voice finished when it finally hit me.

No ones P.O.V

She was in the middle of a city with tall buildings that towered over her. She felt like she had been here before. She wondered around the city streets seeing the dead corpses of what ever civilization once occupied this city. She then heard a yell of pain and proceeded to head to the location of the cry when she stepped in a liquid substance and found that it was blood. She continued through the city ruins hearing the occasional explosion and a cracking sound she recognized but could not remember what it was called. She soon came to what looked like an outpost she was about to walk forward until she kicked something. She picked up what looked like a Helmet as it had a flickering light coming from the inside as she looked into the hole in the visor. She walked forward into the camp as she looked around and found the source of the the trail. It was someone like her except he was wearing armor instead of being made of metal. He had a hole in his rib cage where she could see everything inside. She walked in and the dragon looked up to her.

"Do you need help?" she asked him as he just turned his gaze to her.

"I don't know, what do you think?" he said as he winced in pain.

Then as if she knew what to do she began working on him. patching the skin together and working on fixing the hole that was in him.

Ponyville: Edge of Everfree Forest

He sat there with his armor next to him off of his body as he looked down at the metal plating on his rib cage where a Titan had blown a hole in him. That was day he figured out he was, what he really was. It was a black metal plating that had been welded and sewed into his skin and bones in order to keep it in place. He still remembers the pain. The pain of metling flesh and scale as the steel had started to melt into his flesh and scales. He just wish he could fix her.

She had finished fixing him welding and sewing a metal plate to his skin and scales had put him into shock and he passed out from it. He was now sleeping there on a bed she had found in the camp. Turned out this was a medical camp for the wounded. She started to hear him stir as he woke up. He looked at her as she asked him a question.

"What's your name and what are you doing here?" She asked him.

"My name is Shadowfall. I was sent to secure this medical outpost and evac any survivors, but instead all I got was a body full of lead and a hole blown into my side." He said as she raised an eyebrow at that.

"What attack this place?" She asked.

"We call them Titans. Due to their massive size they are the equals to the Thetas and the Betas. Hell I have seen a Titan take down a Theta, something we all thought was impossible. So, what's your name?" Shadowfall asked.

She could tell him, but she did not know she would have to make one up.

He speaks to us through him

“We see life as we want it and as it should be, but not once have we ever thought; wondered what the world could or could have been. That future blinds us as we look ahead. We use what we are as a species as an excuse to be something we are not. There is one thing every human does, but, is never willing to admit it. We abuse ourselves; we do it everyday, too. With this comes our greatest enemy and our greatest ally. And it’s one word. Loneliness. Loneliness is our friend and our enemy. We think we have it all figured out; that we may have a solution. We don’t; never will and never have. We will be told that “our opinion doesn’t matter” or “what we say is irrelevant” yet, have we not stopped to think to say “and who said that you had a say. That why your opinion has to matter more than others, why are you above others”. Because of that loneliness.

We try to escape it but it always comes back, but guess what. We have to work with it. Humans as a species will crave social interaction wether we realize it or not. We hate being alone. Why do you think people that are isolated so long go crazy. Socializing is what keeps us from going insane. But sometime; it is just not, enough.

That barrier of not knowing how we are expected to act and talk prevents from learning, accepting, and healing that loneliness. We must be patient with this feeling, due for better or for worse, we must be ready to let go; move on.”
