As Twilight woke to her alarm clock screaming at her, she had been dreading this day. Twilight hated starting new schools. She was afraid she wouldn't fit in or she wouldn't make any friends. But of course she got up, got dressed, fed spike and headed out the door.
With Twilights past she was afraid someone would find out. As she was walking to her bus stop she saw another girl walk out from the apartment about 2 doors down from her. They both ended up at the same bus stop and started to make conversation while waiting for the bus.
"I just moved here, I live by myself. I live in the apartment a couple doors down from you." Twilight was a bit shy to talk to Sunset but she managed to not looked anxious.
"My parents live in the apartment building across from the one we live in, they thought I should try living on my own this year."
"I think they are just sick of me and only want my baby brother, but it's ok."
" Well Sunset you can always come hangout with me, I don't have any siblings and my mom she- travels."
As Twilight finished her sentence the bu arrived. Sunset and Twilight sat together as this was the beginning of a friendship that would last forever.
As they arrived to school Twilight was nervous and Sunset could tell. Sunset reached over to Twilight and said,
"Don't be nervous, you're not alone. I'm here and we get to start a new school together."
Twilight wasn't as nervous now, she felt comfort from Sunset. When they were getting off the bus one of the senior douche bag jocks trip Twilight getting off the bus. Twilight immediately got up as her face turned beaming red from hurt and embarrassment. Sunset was pissed. They all just stood there laughing at her and Sunset was not having it.
"ASSHOLES! There was no point in doing that. Tripping someone doesn't make you look cooler."
"It was an accident, plus she's a dork. Someone was gonna do it sooner or later. I thought I could do the honors."
Senses was so pissed she couldn't hold back what happened next. Sunset punched his ass so hard he bled out of both his nostrils. They all began to laugh at him as he ran off the bus crying. His friends followed him laughing.
Twilight was laughing as she was hiding behind Sunset during that hole fiasco.
"Thank you for standing up for me, you didn't have to do that."
"It was nothing, plus someone had do put him in his place. Just because he's on the football team doesn't mean he can bully people."
"Exactly, but he was right about one thing."
"And what is that?"
"I am a dork, I know I am."
"Well you may be a dork but your a cute dork."
Twilight began to blush as hard as she tried not to. Twilight already knew she was a lesbian she just never mentioned it nor did she think Sunset was lesbian to.
When they walked into school everyone was looking at them and a plotting them. Twilight and Sunset were confused them Sunset connected the dots. Everyone was happy that she had punched that douche bag jock in the face.
The bell rang for first period, Sunset and Twilight had 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 7th period together. That made Twilight feel better knowing she had at least one friend in most her classes. First period began and not 2 minutes in both Sunset and Twilight were called to the office.
Twilight was VERY nervous. She was never called to the office. Sunset could tell she was nervous again she had the same face on as she did when they were on the bus.
"It's ok you're not gonna be in trouble, you didn't do anything. I was the one who hit him. If it's anything you got called because he tripped you and because you were a witness to me hitting him."
"Yeah you're probably right."
Twilight was still nervous even though she new she didn't do anything. When they entered the office th front desk lady pointed them to the principals office. Twilights hands began to sweat and shake. Sunset noticed and grab her hand to try and calm her down. It worked some. As they entered the office they saw that stupid jock.
His nose was still bleeding. Sunset didn't know she could actually hit that hard. Principal Celestia began asking some questions.
"Do you know why you three are here?"
They all just shook there heads no.
"Well as I understand Ms.Shimmer punched Mr. Century."
"I punched him in the face because he tripped Twilight and he was being a douche!"
"Is this true Mr.Century?"
"Maybe..."
"Well then, Ms. Shimmer apologize to Mr.Century and Mr.Century apologize to Ms.Sparkel."
They apologized and left her office. Flash was still mad but Sunset and Twilight didn't care. When they got back to class they started on some notes they had to write down, basically just rules of the classroom.
By lunch time Twilight was over this school. Twilight may have been a dork and she may have been smart but she would have rather been homeschooled. Sunset and Twilight ate lunch together then proceeded to there last 3 classes.
When the day was over they both decided to walk home together. When they got home Sunset invited Twilight to hang out. Of course she said yes. They hung out all night. That was the most fun Twilight had since the accident. It became late , it's about 12:40 at night. Sunset asked if she wanted to have a sleepover even though it was a Monday night. Twilight didn't even hesitate to say yes. The longer they stayed up the deeper there conversation became.
"When I was little my parents fought a lot, my dad had found out a secret my mom had kept from him. If you want to know I'll tell you but it's gonna sound crazy."
Twilight replied,
"If you feel comfortable enough to tell me then go ahead but you don't have to and I won't be mad."
Sunset began to blush a lot.
"Well my mom has powers, like she has a wand. And apparently I have the powers to but I don't have a wand."
"Wow, well I'm glad you were comfortable enough to tell me but I need to tell you something also."
"Go ahead, I'm listening."
"Ok so when I was little like new born little, my mom had accidentally killed my dad. She didn't know that he had powers. My mom also had powers. She never told my dad because she didn't want him to freak out. So when I was about 4 she killed herself because she couldn't live with the guilt. So then I was shipped to my grandparents and then they raised me, after I turned 16 they bought me that apartment because they think I have powers and they didn't want that around so know I'm here."
"Omg, I'm so sorry. I'm always here if you want to talk."
"There's also one more thing, I don't know if you'll care but I'm gay."
"I got wait really, like your not joking."
Twilight was nervous as soon as Sunset said that.
"Well I'm gay to." Sunset said with a little smile on her face.
After they got done talking they went to bed. The next morning something weird happened.
