Twilight's castle 9:40pm
In the living room of King Thorax and Queen Twilight Sparkle's castle. Thorax and Twilight were seen washing up some dishes in the living room after a great family dinner with their children Alistair and Twirax.
While washing the dishes, Thorax turned to his right and saw that Twilight was washing the dishes with a warm smile because of the pleasant and peaceful work. Thorax then looked down at the pool of water in the sink then back at his wife with a smirk because, a sneaky prank was formulated in his head.
Thorax gently placed his left hoof in the water, then he pulled it up and splashed the water directly at Twilight's face.
The unexpected prank has resulted in making Twilight cough and spit out water. Then, Thorax started to laugh from that hysterical action he just did.
"Why you!" Twilight said as she placed placed the washed up dishes in the dish rack and placed her hooves on her husband's chest. Then, she pushed him to the couch.
Once Twilight has pushed her husband to the couch, Thorax tripped over on the front edge of the large couch and fell on it, bringing his wife down with him in the process. Then, the two couples fell on the couch with Thorax on his back and Twilight on top of him. And the two royals started to laugh.
"Haha! Nopony pranks the element of magic and gets away with it!" Twilight told him.
"Yeah I know, I surrender your majesty." Thorax chuckled.
Then, Twilight lied down on Thorax's chest and leaned her muzzle close to his and was about kiss him, and Thorax was about to do the same as well.
But just as their lips got an inch near, they were stopped by the sound of the door opening and somepony entering.
Thorax and Twilight both averted their eyes to the living room door and saw their children Twirax and Alistair standing there.
Twilight then got off Thorax and sat next to him on the couch so that the children wouldn't be able to see things that adults do.
"Hello kids." Thorax and Twilight said in unison with smiles.
"Hello daddy, hello mommy." Twirax and Alistair said with smiles.
"So, what brings you two here?" Thorax asked.
"Well, I just came down to tell you that I have finished giving Alistair a wonderful bath!" Twirax replied in a joyful manner as she tapped on her little brother's head. And Alistair was a bit humiliated by her statement.
"That's good to hear." Twilight giggled.
"Indeed it is mom."
"Alright so why don't you two head upstairs to your room and sleep?" Thorax counselled "After all it is getting late and-"
"Actually daddy." Twirax cut her father off "We have something we would like to ask you two." She told him.
"Really?" Thorax asked with a nonplus expression, and Twirax and Alistair replied with a nod "What is it then?" He asked again.
"We would like to know how you and mommy fell in love." Alistair replied.
"Ah yes, I remember that." Thorax said with a warm smile "Those were such great memories." He added.
"Indeed it is Thory." Twilight said as she nuzzled her husband affectionately, and Twirax had to shield Alistair's eyes because he is still too young to see these things.
Twilight then looked at her daughter and son and said "Have a seat you two and we'll tell you the story of how we found love."
Twirax and Alistair both nodded in unison and walked up to the large couch. Once they got to it, they both climbed on top of it, Alistair sat next to his mother and Twirax while hugging a red cushion, and Twirax sat next to Alistair and her father with him hugging her.
"It all started six years ago-" Thorax delineated.
Ponyville six years ago
In Ponyville, the changeling King named Thorax was seen making his way to Princess Twilight Sparkle's castle to pay her a friendly visit after he has befriended the dinosaurs. But not only will he be having a friendly chat with her, this will also be his chance to ask her out. Thorax has eyed Twilight for a while now and everytime he visited her during some friendship and magic lesson, she was as pulchritudinous as a rose.
After walking through town as well as strolling pass many ponies, Thorax has officially arrived at the front doors of Twilight's castle, he took a deep breath and stuffed his agitation down.
"Okay Thorax, you can do this." He told himself confidently "You just have to have a nice chat with her and ask her out, it is a hundred percent simple, it will just be like how Indominus got Rainbow Dash." He said.
Then, he slowly raised his right hoof up and knocked on the door. After a brief moment, Thorax got a reply.
"Coming!"
After five seconds, the doors were pulled open and Thorax saw Twilight, and his eyes went wide when he saw her. She is just so beautiful like a flower, his heart rate was accelerating a little but, he managed to keep his composure and relax.
"Hello Thorax!" Twilight exclaimed with a wide smile.
"H-hello Twilight." Thorax said.
"What brings you here?"
"Oh well I uh..." Thorax struggled a bit, but he managed to stuff his agitation down "I just wanted to have a chat with you." He replied with a weak smile.
Twilight was a bit perplexed by his reply, but she pushed the confusion out of her head and smiled at him.
"Then let's have the chat inside." Twilight said as she stepped aside allowing path for him to enter.
"Thank you Twilight." Thorax said as he stepped in.
Twilight then closed the door and said "Follow me to the meeting room Thorax."
Thorax nodded, and Twilight started to guide him to the meeting room upstairs.
While walking, Thorax was admiring Twilight's elegantness, she is so beautiful like a flower. Thorax felt his heart accelerating as well as his body temperature rising. But just as he realised that he is getting off course, he pushed those thoughts out of his head and proceeded in walking with her to the meeting room.
After walking upstairs, Twilight and Thorax have officially arrived at the meeting room doors. Twilight then activated her horn and gripped onto the door handles with her magic. Then, she pushed them open.
"Come on in Thorax."
"Thank you Twilight." Thorax said in an appreciative tone as he stepped in the meeting room. And Twilight stepped in after him.
Once they were in, Thorax stood next to a chair and Twilight levitated a tea pot and two tea cups. She then placed the two tea cups on the table and poured some tea in it. After she has finished that, she placed the tea pot back to its place and pushed one tea cup near Throax.
"Thank you Twilight." Thorax said.
"Your welcome Thorax." Twilight said with a smile.
Then, the two royals started to sip their teas. After ten seconds, Twilight was the first to finished her tea. She placed it on the table and looked at Thorax who has just finished drinking his.
"So Thorax, what is it that you wanted to chat with me about?" Twilight asked.
When Thorax heard this, his anxiety level has increased again and he is once again feeling anxious.
"I... uh..." Thorax shuddered, his eyes were distracted by the glamorous look on her eyes and face. "I actually wanted to-"
Thorax wasn't able to finish his sentence when Twilight looked up at the clock, her eyes then widened and she got off her seat.
"Oh Celestia! I'm late for my date!"
Thorax's eyes widened when he heard Twilight saying the word 'date'.
"D-did she s-say date?!"
"Sorry Thorax, I have to go! Goodbye I hope to see you soon!" Twilight exclaimed as she ran out of the meeting room.
Thorax was truly scandalized when he saw Twilight rushing out of the meeting room after saying the word 'date'. Could it be that she is going to go out with that stallion pegasus Flash Sentry?
Thorax has seen Twilight talking to that Royal guard Flash Sentry who she had eyed for a while now, and considering those expressions he saw on her face, he must assume that she fell in love with him. Then, he got quite depressed.
"Ah well, she found somepony before me, and I have to condone it." Thorax said to himself with a shrug "After all, this is what love can be like from what I have learned from Cadence." He finished in a soft tone.
"Okay, I better return to the hive." Thorax told himself. Then, he walked out of the meeting room and head towards the front doors of Twilight's castle.
Present time
"Wait, so mom you had another crush?" Alistair asked her with a bewildered expression.
"Yes I did Ali." Twilight said in a soft tone as she held her son on her lap "And it turned out kind of bad." She told him.
"What happened?" Twirax asked with a perplexed expression.
"Lets continue with the story then." Thorax said, this time, Twilight started to talk.
"After that, I-"
Ponyville six years ago
King Thorax was walking down the streets of Ponyville and back to the changeling Kingdom to resume some of his work.
While walking back, he was a bit depressed when he realized that Twilight already has a special somepony, and he had all of these wonderful plans on taking her to remarkable and beautiful places on their dates. But, it's her decision.
"Its her decision Thorax." He told himself "You can't force her to be with you." He added sternly.
But, just as he was about to approach the exit of Ponyville, Thorax heard some noises.
"Huh? What is that noise?" Thorax thought with a perplexed expression. He then turned around to see the source of the noises.
And when he did, Thorax saw Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle standing in the middle of town with many ponies watching them. He looked closer at the situation and saw that Flash was pointing at Twilight with his hoof, he then looked at Twilight and saw that she is nearly in tears. Thorax must assume that Flash is bullying Twilight right now.
Then, Flash started to talk.
"Stay away from me Twilight." Flash told her sternly "You're just a moronic and loathing Princess and an egghead." He insulted her in a cheeky way.
"P-please stop." Twilight cried "I-I just wanted to be with you." She told him between sob.
Flash laughed from her statement.
"Be with me?" Flash asked incredulously "Ha! Who would ever want to marry an ugly and stupid mare like you? Just face it Twilight, nopony loves you, and you will always be alone." He said in a mean tone.
Twilight's heart crumbled into pieces when she heard Flash's mean statement. Then, she looked down on the ground and began to sob again.
Flash had a cheeky grin on him when he finally managed to break her.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go see my new special somepony." Flash told her, he then stuck his tongue out at her and turned around and left.
Everypony including Thorax were all completely speechless at the previous event. The ponies decided to disregard the previous situation and continue with their lives as well as pretending that nothing ever happened.
Thorax however did not, he was scandalized by what had happened.
"Oh no Twilight." Thorax said to himself quietly in a perturbed tone. Then, he trotted towards her.
Once he got to her, Thorax looked at her mental state and saw that she is very disconsolate right now.
"Twilight?" Thorax said as he tried to tap her with his right hoof, but before he could touch her, Twilight turned around and ran off back into her castle in tears, leaving Thorax very dumbstruck.
"How can Flash be so impertinent towards her?" Thorax asked with an infuriated expression "That was such a sassy behaviour." He finished in a vexed tone.
"I have to find a way to cheer her up." Thorax told himself "I need to gather some help from Indominus and his family." He finished.
Present time
Twirax and Alistair were both very scandalized when they heard what their parents have told them. How could their mother's first love interest be so ill-mannered towards her.
"Oh my, how can he be so discourteous?" Twirax asked with a traumatized expression.
"I'm so sorry mommy." Alistair said as he hugged her, and Twilight hugged him back as well as nuzzling him on the forehead.
"Its alright you two, it's in the past." Twilight told them with a smile.
"Oh." Twirax and Alistair said in unison "Then, what happened?" They asked again.
"Then I-"
Thorax has arrived to Canterlot after a fifty minutes flight. He then descended onto the ground and the residents in Canterlot all bowed towards the Changeling King. Thorax simply greeted them by waving his right hoof.
"Alright, to the castle."
Then, Throax ran to Indominus and Rainbow Dash's castle as fast as he could.
After four minutes, Thorax has arrived at the front doors of the castle. He then raised his right hoof up and knocked on the door. After a brief second, he heard the sounds of rumbling footsteps which Thorax assumed was Indominus.
Then, the castle doors opened and Thorax saw Indominus, and Indominus was surprised to see the Changeling King.
"Ah Thorax buddy." Indominus said with a nonplussed expression.
"Salutations Indominus." Thorax said with a smile.
Since the day when Thorax met Indominus, he was very petrified of him, sure he is adroit in magic after all of those lessons from Twilight as well as reading books. And they are both Kings. But, Indominus was obviously the more superior one because there is no way that his magic can put a dent on Indominus's worldbreaker form, and his battle with Soarin proves his robustness. But, Twilight has managed to make him stay equanimous by convincing him that he is a friend, and he will not eat him.
"What brings you here?" Indominus asked.
"Just have something to tell you." Thorax told him.
"Oh really?" Indominus asked with a perplexed expression, and Thorax replied with a nod "Then come on in to the living room. Discord, my brother, sisters Spike and the mane five are in there as well." He told him.
"Great!" Thorax said with a smile, them he stepped in and Indominus started to guide him into the living room.
In the living room, Discord, Rexy, the mane five, Spike and the raptor sisters were seen having a chat with each other as well as having some drinks offered by Applejack.
But then, their consultation session has came to a conclusion when they all heard the doors to the living room being pulled open.
Discord, Rexy, the mane five and Spike all looked at the living room door and saw Indominus, and next to him was the changeling King himself Thorax.
"Thorax!" The mane five said with smiles.
"Well if it isn't the changeling King himself." Discord said with a smile.
"Thorax buddy!" Spike said with an exuberant expression.
"Salutations King Thorax." The raptor sisters said in unisons with bows.
"Hello you all, nice to see every one of you again." Thorax said with a smile.
"So what brings you here?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Oh, just wanted to say something to all of you." Thorax told them, and everyponies eyes widened in interest.
"What is this something?" Discord asked.
"I'll tell you all."
Then, everypony gathered around the large table and Thorax started to delineate about the event he saw in Ponyville one hour ago. And everypony in the room were scandalized by Thorax's statement.
"Oh my, how is she feeling?" Fluttershy asked with a worried expression.
"I don't know." Thorax said with a shrug "I tried to console her but, she just took off back into her castle." He finished.
"Who does that jerk Flash Sentry think he is?" Rainbow Dash asked with a growl along with the raptor sisters.
"I really want to teach him a lesson right now." Rexy said in an intimidating tone.
"Uh guys, I don't think that this is the time to think about how we should teach Flash a lesson." Thorax told them "At a time like this, we need to think of a way to comfort her." He said logically.
The dinosaurs, Spike and the ponies all took some time to think about Throax's logical words. After five seconds, they all nodded in consensus.
"Your right Thorax." Rainbow sighed bregrudingly "This is the time to think about how we can cheer Twilight up." She said.
"Indeed."
"But how?" Spike asked.
All of the dinosaurs, Spike, Discord and the ponies began to ponder the hypothetical situation. After ten seconds, Thorax came up with a perfect plan.
"Hey Indominus." Thorax called him, and
Indominus looked down at him.
"What is it Thorax?" He asked.
"Remember you and Rainbow's wedding?" Thorax asked, and Indominus nodded "So, I think singing a song for her would be appropriate, so it would be probable that a song would make her feel contented again." He said.
Everypony in the room all smiled and nodded in agreement in Thorax's plan, it would definitely lead to success. A song will make anypony happy when they are in depressed or stressful situations.
"That is a great plan Thorax!" Spike said with a proud smile.
"Agreed!" Discord, the dinosaurs as well as the mane five all nodded in consensus.
"Thank you everypony." Thorax said with a grateful smile "I know the most perfect song to play for her." He told them.
Then, Thorax started to delineate about the plan he has as well as the song he will sing to Twilight. After that, he organized on who will do what.
Discord will summon a speaker as well as a microphone for him, the mane five will decorate the place and the dinosaurs and Spike will get Twilight to the living room.
"Alright, let's commence it." Thorax said.
Present time
Twirax and Alistair are getting very interested about the story and they were eager to know more.
"What is this song you sang for mom dad?" Twirax asked.
Thorax then nuzzled his daughter and said "It is called-"
Twilight's castle six years ago
Princess Twilight Sparkle was seen wiping away her tears on her bed, and she has used four tissue boxes.
"Why does nopony like me?" Twilight asked between sobs "Am I just a disposable resource?" She asked again.
Twilight was going to cry again but then the sounds of the doors opening in her room stopped her.
Twilight turned around and saw her friends Indominus, Rexy, Blue, Delta, Echo, Charlie and Spike standing at the door.
"Oh, hello you all." Twilight said as she wiped her tears away.
"How are you feeling Twilight?" Spike asked.
"I'm just feeling a bit depressed from what had happened Spike." Twilight said with a frown. "I appreciate you all coming here to comfort me but, I do not want to see anypony right so can you all leave and come back tomorrow please?" She asked as politely as she could.
"Actually Twilight, we would like you to come downstairs with us." Indominus told her.
"Huh?" Twilight asked with a nonplus expression "For what reason?" She asked again.
"You'll see." Spike told her "Now come with us." He said.
Twilight was disoriented at first, but she sighed bregrudingly and got off her bed. Then, she exited her bedroom and followed her friends to where they are going to lead her to.
After walking for a minute, Twilight saw that Indominus, Rexy and Spike have all lead them to her living room doors, and that got her even more perplexed.
"Why did you three lead me to my living room?"
"You'll see." They replied simply.
Then, Indominus, Rexy and Spike all pushed the doors open and stepped in. Twilight stepped in after them and saw that the lights were off for some reason.
"Why are the lights off?"
On cue, Spike flicked the light switch up and turned on the lights. And Twilight's eyes widened when she saw what is in front of her.
In front of her were her friends, the CMCS, Discord, the raptor sisters as well as Thorax, and Thorax was wearing a tuxedo, a green bow tie as well as holding a microphone.
"Twilight, I saw how disconsolate you were yesterday." Thorax told her "So, I wanted to sing this song for you to cheer you up as well as saying thank you for all the lessons you have taught me and my subjects about friendship and magic." He finished. And Twilight blushed slightly from his statement.
Discord then clicked on the small speaker he summoned and the song that Thorax chose is beginning to play. It all started out with a few soft beats.
Thorax: And I feel all the faint morning light. Filled with hope 'cause you're here in my life. And we've gone from the edge of our souls. Made it back to a place we call home. You see me through. I was alone in the dark. And the fear was my truth. Yeah all the things that you are.

Everypony in the room were following the beats of the music by clapping and Twilight was seen blushing a little from Thorax's wonderful singing and heart warming complement about her.
Thorax: I feel wrong, I'm so changeling and flawed. I'll break down even though I'm still strong. And time will make fools of us all. Build us up and then laughs when we fall. You pull me through. When I'm alone in the dark. And the fear is my truth. Yeah all the things that you are. Beautifully broken, alive in my heart. And know, that you are everything. Let your heart sing and tonight. You'll light up the stars. All that you are.
Thorax looked at Twilight for a moment and saw that a smile was appearing on her muzzle which was a good sight, it made him happy as well. Then, he sang again.
Thorax: You're the sound of redemption. The faith that I've lost. The answers I'm seeking no matter the cost. You opened the window. Now I can see and you taught me forgiveness. By giving your love back to me. Yeah all the things that you are. Beautifully broken, alive in my heart. And know, that you are everything. Let your heart sing and tonight. Once Thorax has finished singing the song, everypony in the room erupted into applause as well as whistling.
Twilight on the other hand was speechless. She was truly dumbfounded by Throax's singing, she then slowly approached him.
"Y-you did this all for me?" Twilight asked with a warm smile.
"Indeed I did." Thorax replied with a nod "I wouldn't like to see my friend upset after what happened. After all, this is what friends are for. And thank you for all of the lessons you have taught me, you are the greatest teacher ever." He told her with a smile.
Twilight was truly heart warmed by Thorax's reply. She then ran up to him in a hasty speed and embraced him in a hug while in tears. And Thorax hugged back.
Twilight then released and kissed him in the lips, and that made Thorax blush as red as a rose. And the mane five as well as the raptor sisters squealed in excitement from the adorable scene.
"Another great pair has found love Rainbow." Indominus said with a warm smile.
"Indeed they have Indominus." Rainbow said as she nuzzled Indominus.
Present time
Twirax and Alistair were both very flabbergasted by the entire story. It was very heart warming and fun to hear.
"And that kids is how me and your mother found love." Thorax told them with a smile.
"Best story ever." Twirax said with a smile.
"Very romantic as well." Alistair said.
"Alistair, your still too young to say those words." Twilight told him.
"Oh, sorry."
"Its okay honey." Twilight said as she kissed her son on the forehead.
"Alright, that should wrap it up for today." Throax said as he sat up straight "Its getting late now why don't you two head to bed?" He told them.
"Okay." Twirax yawned. Then, she looked at her little brother and said "Come on Alistair let's go to bed."
"Okay." Alistair said with a nod, Alistair and Twirax hugged their parents one more time and got off the couch. Then, they walked upstairs to their bedrooms leaving Thorax and Twilight alone.
"Those were such great times Twinkle's."
"Indeed they were Thory." Twilight cooed.
Then, the two royals embraced each other in another heart warming hug and sharing another tender kiss.

My new Twirax story has been accomplished! I hope you all enjoyed it! One of the parts were inspired by my friend Rhino932 Toon's story Sweetie Belle and the Beast. This is probably another one of my favourite Twirax stories I have ever written!
Also, I do not own the video or song that I am using for this chapter, they both belong to their rightful owners.
