You are Brave Knight, an ex - Canterlot guard who was Celestia's personal bodyguard until you went insane. You're also nicknamed "Brain Dead". You see things that aren't there and does, how should we say, particularly odd things. You have been released from a mental hospital because they say you are incurable. But Twilight thinks otherwise. She thinks that she can somehow cure you and help you control your magical abilities again. She thinks she's just helping an old friend. Are you or are you more than just a friend to her? A second-person story about you and Twilight. Want to help with the story? Post what you think you should do next and I will use one of your commands.

Edit: This is an extremely old story that was forgotten for a long time. When I got bored, I looked though my stories for something to read when I came across my story. Just keep in mind that this book was written with my earlier writing skills. They are not as good as they are now. But I hope you will still enjoy this!

Chapter 1: Release

"Subject 829! How are we today?"

You wake up to see doctors looking through a small narrow window in a foam cushioned room. At first, you don't remember where you are. You look at your hooves, which are covered by a square foam cushion. That's when you remembered where you are. You are at the Ponyville Mental Hospital and you're undergoing the PSRP. It stands for the Pony Sanity Restoration Procedure. It's an extreme procedure that is only used on the most insane. And you're one of them. They have just given you some medication to make you drowsy, which eventually made you fall asleep. You don't know what happened during that time.

"No response? Heh, nothing new."

Your insane mind got the best of you again and you started heading towards the wall to bang your head against it.

"He's banging his head again."

"Start the machine."

"Yes sir."

You hear a buzzing sound, but it's not coming from outside. It was coming from your stomach. You start to panic and run around in circles. But the way you walk is extremely strange. You walk with your head in front of your front hooves. Which is why you have a face mask.

"He's still acting like an idiot."

"Not even the PSRP is curing him!?"

"No."

"Ugh. We have no choice. Lead him out of the hospital."

You hear another buzzing sound. This time it was coming from the red light inside the room. Suddenly, the door flew open. Some Canterlot guards come into the room and grabs you by the hooves and started dragging you outside the hospital. They throw you outside and leave you. Even though you are completely insane, you have enough brains to know that they left you for dead. You decided to head towards Ponyville. You start your face-crushing walk to your home. But since your face is in the dirt, it's going to be hard to get there.

Ponyville...

After 3 hours of face-ruining walking, you finally are too exhausted to walk any more. You look up to see a tree with windows and doors on it. You stand and knock the door with your head. Your head can't take much more. Your head finally gives and you faint.

"Hello?"

Twilight sees you and immediately reacts.

"Oh my Celestia! Brave Knight! What happened here?"

Twilight brings you inside and lays you in her bed and places an ice pack on top of your head. The cold temperature was enough to make you conscious. You wake up with a start.

"Brave Knight! I haven't seen you in a long time! How was the hospital? Are you cured?"

You stare at her, making her feel uncomfortable.

"Brave? Are you ok?"

You stare at your hooves, which looks good. Then you start to chew on them.

"I guess you aren't cured yet. What happened? I thought you were supposed to be released from the hospital in a week."

You try to talk, but you haven't studied the alphabet ever since you became insane almost 5 months ago. You can only speak little words.

"Me no more..... go to..... hospital....."

"Hm. What are you going to do?"

"Me go to..... home...."

"Well, this is your home now. I'll help you learn how to talk! Maybe I can even help you with your magic! I always wanted to be a teacher! This is going to be so much fun!"

You go cross-eyed.
