Most of this story takes place during the the very first episode of MLP. Instead of Pinkie being the one who saw the Sonic Rainboom, it was Maud! She threw the party that got her cutie mark, and her family was happy. Except for Pinkie, who had no interest in parties. Years later, Maud moved to Ponyville, and met the main six. When Nightmares Moon attacks, everyone thinks she's the Element of Laughter, but it doesn't work. So if Maud isn't the correct pony, then who is?
