Sombra, an Umbrum unicorn stallion who was born a prodigy mastering many types of magic even at a young age. As time went on he began to change, his ambition growing ever more towards the more darker side of magic. It remains unknown in modern Equestrian archives if this change was "natural" or if some outside force effected Sombra. Eventually, it got the better of him and turned him into what many ponies know nowadays to be the worst tyrannical ruler the Crystal Empire has ever known. However, there is a bigger piece of Sombras life that never saw the light of day until the Crystal Heart revealed an unexpected truth: Sombasi, brother of Sombra.
