//-------------------------------------------------------// Shop Shenanigans -by JimmyHook19- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Shop Shenanigans //-------------------------------------------------------// Shop Shenanigans Jimmy needed some things in life, such as some items of clothing to wear, or else end up wearing nothing (a most undesirable set of circumstances, though given the usual things that happened in his life he was fairly familiar with the nudist culture that was Equestria). But anyways, I have noticed the lack of focus in what I say, and thus I must focus on the tale at hand. An effort to restart the economy in the Manteo area had led to some stores reopening in the Outer Banks, as the State government was sadly too stingy to support such efforts. This meant a store that Jimmy had frequented many times over the years had finally reopened its doors, in the Duck area (quack quack). The store in question was Life is Good, a purveyor and seller of garments fair and fine to deserving patrons. Jimmy had not got a great track record in this store, having first been attacked by a yellow glove and changed into Belle, and then chased by a belt and morphed into Sweetie Drops/Bon-Bon (take your pick) a few months later (or about 7 or so months ago in the latter case). However, Jimmy had found himself with a bit of a problem in more recent times, and that was that he needed fresh clothes. Due to shipping patterns and processes, winter clothing was now being released in stores, and he was short of winter garments such as thick pants and jumpers in his rather considerable size (new readers will be interested to know Jimmy was a giant slab of muscle). So, as he often did on most days, he headed out of his door and went off on his way towards Duck, which lay northwards of his current position. As he drove up the Outer Banks, taking in the sunlight and the dawning day, he found himself driving through Rodanthe, where the ground still showed evidence of sonic displacement and audio was still blasting from a boombox in a tall house. "That was a wild ride," he said to himself, as he drove off. The predawn hours, or small hours, finally transitioned into the big hours of the day, and Jimmy yawned. He had gotten up especially early for him in order to beat the queues, and he felt he needed a coffee. Luckily, his local branch of Dunkin' Donuts had given him a year's supply free after he'd seen off a customer who had been verbally abusing a member of staff just because she'd asked him to wear a mask. He'd become something of a local hero after that, especially since few knew him. Onwards he went, and after driving a little further and switching on the air conditioning, he arrived at his destination in Duck, rolling his car into the parking lot and stopping. He got out, stopped the engine, and grabbed a bag before attaching his face shield to his head. Due to his voluminous mane, and his fear of windy holds, it had an exceptionally wide head support to hold it in place, which he found most agreeable indeed. As he walked over to Life is Good, he saw two girls, who looked oddly familiar, chatting next to a lamp post. One was green and the other yellow, and both seemed very affectionate towards one another somehow. "Good thing Katrina didn't see them," Jimmy joked. He pushed the door open and started his rounds. Walking in circles didn't get him very far, so Jimmy set off into the store to look for what he was looking for. There were many new and exciting things inside the shop, which was usually a most boring place (barring an odd appearance of a woman in a yellow ballgown. Oddly, Jimmy had heard of something very similar happening in Nottingham). Jimmy walked through the empty aisles, until he saw an object of most unusual interest to him. Not what he was looking for, but impulse purchasing is a thing. It was a tiny golden saddle, which seemed to be giving off heat. You could say it was... a blazing saddle. Kudos to anybody who gets that joke. Anyways, off we go, and Jimmy picked it up. Not a good idea, as he was soon sent flying through multiple aisles of clothes, knocking them over, until he crashed into a wall and stopped. There was a sickening crack as he smashed into it, and as he came to his senses he realized his knees and elbows were dislocated. They were facing the wrong way, but the musculature was now inverted, to support quadruped movement. This would prove to be a somewhat critical clue to his plight, as soon after his toes and feet got sucked into his legs, leaving nothing but stumps. His fingers were pulled into his hands, and the leftovers changed into hooves, with his wrists fusing with the upper bones. Moments after that, his entire frame began to swell up in size, ripping open the bottom of his pants and the back of them to make space for a tail that exploded out of his ass. His remaining garments reformed, the neckline dropping to around his lower neck (very lowcut, even by pony standards), and the sleeves shrank into short sleeves with what looked like trails from rocket engines. The right hand one faced backwards, and the left hand one forwards. The remains of his pants reformed into a three part skirt which looked like the jet trail from an aircraft, before the entire ensembles became plastered in buttons. Of note though, the color of the outfit that he was wearing was black if one had to guess correctly for of it. As his manhood vanished for all eternity, her neck cranked backwards and stretched in length to it rivaled a giraffe for length. Her face gained a muzzle, and her eyes turned a light orange along with gaining eye-shadow above it. This process caused her eyes to increase in size which in part caused her glasses to break into pieces. Pony ears and a horn appeared as her hair was pulled into a comb over, and long too, of colors purple, orange and yellow. The tail also turned orange and yellow as the saddle floated into position. Jimmy did not receive a memory download, and looked about in a panic. Sure enough, she bolted and sped outside the store, to where the two girls were. "Hey, look Bonny!" called one. "It's a horse!" "That's the weirdest horse I've ever seen!" 'Bonny' replied. "I thought you were the one obsessed with unicorns?" "Oi, shut it," Said the first one to speak. "How are you?" Jimmy had since gained blue fur. "Can you help me?" she asked. "I only turned into a horse just now, and have no idea what I'm do-" Suddenly, her horn lit up, and a motorbike levitated into the air. "Well, bust my buttons!" "You've got a lot of those," 'Bonny' laughed. Sassy Saddles, of which Jimmy decided to change her name to because she just said one of her catchphrases, shook her head. She had a long way to go and no way of doing it. She would probably have to wait until it wore off.
