Raccoon City
Running through the Raccoon City P.D proved to be much more difficult than Hunk had anticipated.
But he wasn't named Hunk without reason.
Every hallway crawled with zombies. Every corner had some sort of infected abomination on the other side. The deformed experiments that used to dwell below had risen to the surface. It would be easier to deal with if he wasn't being chased by the very thing that Umbrella unleashed onto the city: T-00, or the Tyrant. Also known as Mister X throughout the base.
Just as he made it into the main lobby of the P.D, radio static buzzed in his helmet.
"Heads up, guys at the top just ordered a full cleanup on Raccoon City, so move fast, or you can kiss your ass goodbye."
All he could respond with was, "Got it."
He didn't train to be filled with fear. He understood the consequences of each mission he was tasked with. Each mission with it's own secrets, secrets that only he knew. He knew that each time he went out with a new squad, he could die, or even be the last one left. After all, that was why he got his codename.
Only armed with a simple pistol, a Hawk Magnum, an LE-5 Submachine Gun, and a W-870 shotgun, he quickly ran out of options against the horde of infected he was battling through. Each bullet spent was a commitment. Each grenade used was a get-out-of-jail card that was used up. And each small medical kit used was a reminder of imminent death.
The Tyrant was persistent, evil, and unstoppable. No matter how far he got ahead of it, he would be trailing behind.
"Times up, Hunk!"
He was almost out, but he knew that he might not make it. "Go, Nighthawk."
"What? I'm not just going to leave you here-"
"This is war. Survival is your responsibility."
If he wasn't going to make it out, he wasn't going to let Nighthawk get blown away with him. Whether he gets out or not, the situation was for the better. If he made it out, he would get a ride back to base, and give back the G-VIrus. If not, and he gets blown away in the blast, the virus will never become public knowledge. Either way, his life would've mattered.
Well, perhaps not to Umbrella. All they cared about was the virus. They didn't care whether he made it out alive.
He was close. Very close to the entrance. Only a minute or two more, and he'd be out in the front. Sure, it wouldn't have amounted to anything without an escape from the blast, but he could tell himself that in the end, he made it out of hell itself. The P.D was by far the worst scenario he had been put in. All odds were stacked against him, and he was only barely making it.
He made it to the courtyard. Kicking the fence-gate open and making his way into it, he found himself feeling a strange tingle all around his body. Perhaps it was the herbs finally wearing off? No, it couldn't be, because within a couple of seconds, he felt himself falling. Everything was black, and everything around him a second ago was gone.
Why?
Meeting with Princess Celestia was supposed to be fun, and exciting. Twilight wanted to share as many things with her as she could. Things about her school, her students, and everything in between. Yet, she was invited to spend time with Celestia and Luna not for fun, but to attend a meeting. A meeting, that had very little to do with fun, or excitement, or anything in between.
She sat next to Celestia and Luna in the gigantic throne room, where multiple other ponies were standing in front of them, far below the steps of the thrones. Twilight felt odd that she was standing so high, and was regarded as such. She thought she would've gotten used to the regal life of being a Princess, but she hadn't.
She seriously wanted something to shut up the noble that was droning on and on about pointless subjects. She really couldn't understand how Celestia or Luna were able to do this on a day to day basis. She was impressed, and slightly concerned for their mental health. Surely doing this every single day was going to have some sort of negative effect on them, right?
BOOM!
Twilight covered her eyes as a flash of light occurred. She readied her horn with a spell, ready to attack anything that had caused the incident. Once she regained her vision, Twilight then saw something that was quite appalling, to say the least. Standing on top of the boring noble was..
A human, of sorts? She had never seen anything like it before, but she knew it definitely looked human. It wore black clothes, with a helmet with two crimson-red eyes. In its hand it held some sort of weapon. At least, that's what she had assumed. She had only ever seen humans from the mirror, but never had they appeared in Equestria, nor looked like this one.
This was not good news, was it?
Hunk aimed his rifle up at the odd creatures standing in front of him, refusing to step off of the creature he was currently on top of. Keeping his rifle raised, he spoke into the small microphone inside of the helmet. "Nighthawk, are you there? This is Hunk, do you read me?"
Static only played in his ears.
He was alone, and definitely not where he used to be. Yet, even in such a strange situation, the only thing that ran through his mind was to get the G-Virus to extraction, and get the hell out of here. Questioning was a luxury, one that he couldn't afford. He quickly sweeped the room with his rifle from his position, before seeing a multitude of more creatures standing behind him, all with spears.
Not regular creatures. Horses. Unicorns. Pegasus. Myth.
A second later, a blinding flash of light occurred right next to him, followed by a blood-gurgled groan, and something grabbing onto him. Hunk, who was still blind, shoved whatever was off of him and raised his rifle towards it. Within a second, his vision was regained.
A zombie.
It laid on the floor, looking up at him. It's law was dislocated and swinging about, it's mouth spilling out a steady streak of rotted blood, and it's limbs were looking as if they were able to be snapped like twigs. Without hesitation, he fired a multitude of rounds into it's head until he heard a sickening crack.
He raised his rifle to the horses that surrounded him, each of them watching him with wide eyes, likely afraid.
"Nighthawk, this is Hunk. Do you read me?" He tried once more, but nothing came.
"S-Sir-" Hunk immediately aimed his rifle at the purple horse sitting up on the pedestal, to which it yelped slightly from his sudden movement. He slowly began to back up, making a mental note of each step he took, whilst keeping his rifle on the purple horse.
"It killed it." The larger, blue horse stated, staring at him with strange intent. Intent, that he didn't want to know.
He turned around, and began to sprint out of the room towards the giant doors, running straight past the guards that were supposed to stop him. With all of his might, he crashed into it with his shoulder, sending one of the doors flying open. He scanned his surroundings quickly, trying to find an immediate way out.
Survival was his responsibility now.

Test story, in all honesty.
Short chapters. Oh, and if you don't know who hunk is, I really, really urge you to look him up. Or, simply look up the RE2 Remake Hunk scenario. That shit will get your blood pumping pretty damn fast.
"Nighthawk, do you read me? This is Hunk, from Alpha team."
Still, no response.
Everything was bright. The opposite of the dark grays and crimson reds that plagued the Raccoon City P.D. The upside to the blinding colors was that he didn't have to worry about using his flashlight no more, which meant he wasn't looking at everything through fish-eye'd lenses anymore.
He could hear fast-running footsteps behind him, trailing his every move. No doubt he was being chased.
Hunk continued to run at a steady pace, making sure not to tire himself out too much. Each room he entered was a maze, and a guess to where he might end up next. Without a direction to go in, he was simply guessing each decision based off of a quick analysis of where he was at. He needed to get out of this place.
"Stop!" He heard somebody yell from behind. He didn't listen.
Small flashes of light illuminated the room he was in, and zombies began to appear from those lights. Each of them with their own grotesque look, staining the bright colored tiles with a deep rotted crimson red, their movements sluggish and painful looking. Within seconds of the lights flashing, multiple screams were heard, likely from the people chasing him.
Hunk ignored the infected around him, sparing every bullet he possibly could. He wasn't going to dare waste a bullet unless he absolutely needed to. With a limited munition supply, and the odds stacked against him in every way possible, he wasn't about to make any stupid decisions. With a sharp left turn and a bash through a doorway, he was now in what looked like to be a large cafeteria, where multiple ponies sat in armor, dining.
Apparently they hadn't heard the screams.
Hunk refused to slow down, and ran down the middle isle, catching the attention of every guard inside. Following right behind, was a trail of zombies, desperately wanting flesh, any flesh in their mouth. The horrified screams of the guards filled the cafeteria within seconds, and sounds of small explosions rumbled the floor. Unicorns discharged lethal spells immediately after seeing fallen comrades become meals, and other guards simply jabbed their spears towards the infected.
"D-Don't force me!" A guard said, blocking the door that Hunk was headed for. Hunk stopped on a dime, aiming his rifle towards the shaking Pegasus that held a spear in his direction. He looked up and down at him, and made a quick, but possibly costly decision. With a single pull of the trigger, a bullet ripped through the Pegasus' leg, causing him to fall and drop the spear with a yelp. Hunk busted through the door behind him.
Stairs.
Hunk happened to be moving too fast, and fell down them. Each rough landing on the jagged edges of the stairs was another groan that came from his helmet, until he finally made it to the floor. Hunk laid there for a second, unable to get up from the daze-inducing experience. And, when he wanted to get up, he was forced not to from an infected that happened to appear right on top of him.
With a quick reach into his pocket, he jabbed a knife into the infected's neck, digging deep with it and tossing the zombie to the side. With haste, he scrambled up onto his feet, and continued to move forward. Each step that landed on his left leg had a sharp pain, but he refused to acknowledge it.
"Nighthawk, do you read me? I need information on my extraction."
Nothing but static played back to him.
With multiple guards trying to stop him from his sprint, he wondered why they would try to stop him. Do they not understand? The zombies? The abominations? They seem to only focus on him, before being overtaken by the zombies chasing him. Pathetic.
Even with the continuous static that played back to him, Hunk continued to try to contact Nighthawk.
"Stop!" A unicorn shouted at him from far down the hallway. Hunk slowed his pace slightly to examine his opponent more. It was a regular unicorn like the rest, but with different armor, and a shield on his flank. He summoned a blue barrier in front of himself and the rest of the hallway. Hunk aimed his rifle towards the barrier, and fired a couple of rounds into it.
It shattered like glass.
"Wha-" Hunk used the butt of his rifle to smack the unicorn on the side of his head, sending the unicorn onto the floor. A scream came from behind him as he did so, from the same purple pony from before. She stared at Hunk, her eye's wide in shock.
"Shining!"
Hunk backed up quickly, keeping his rifle aimed up at the purple pony, his eye's darting around himself, before rounding the corner and continuing his sprint. Though he was met only with more opposition on the other side, which definitely complicated things more than Hunk needed.
"You took down the commander!"
"No time for discussion- take him out!"
Multiple ponies charged him, with spears, or magical blasts that were sent flying his way. Hunk let go of his sub machine gun, letting it fall to his side with the strap, and grabbed at the shotgun on his back. He cocked the shotgun, and steadied it on his shoulder before firing in the lower region of the oncoming guards.
With a single blast, most of them were laying on the floor in agony.
Though that didn't mean Hunk got away without injury. At the last moment, a unicorn sent a lethal fire spell at him, which hit his shoulder. Hunk grunted in pain, patting it down until the fire stopped. It was definitely painful, but as said before, he didn't have luxury to think of it.
Hunk stepped over the crying ponies, before making his way further into the castle, trying to figure out where he was going. In all honesty, he was just running without direction. As long as he was moving, he wouldn't die. At-least, that's how it worked in the P.D.
He made into a larger room, which seemed to be a dining hall. It looked more royal than the cafeteria, that was for sure. Hunk could see multiple ponies run from his direction, only for one female earth pony to be stopped in her tracks when a flash of light occurred in front of her. She backed away from the zombie that appeared from thin air, before it lunged at her.
Hunk aimed his shotgun up, and cocked it once again before firing directly into its skull. A sickening crack could be heard as the body fell to the floor limp, blood and grey matter spilling from its open head, it's rotted eyes flowing along with the blood. The horrified pony was curled onto the floor, before seeing the dead zombie.
It looked at Hunk.
Hunk only looked at her for a second, before continuing his sprinting pace.
Hunk barreled down another corridor. It was starting to all look the same now to him, just like the Raccoon Police Department did. He was sure it looked decent before all of the chaos, but with every corridor being covered in blood and crawling with zombies, it was quite hard to distinguish one area from the other. At least this place had bright interesting colors. Interesting colors that he couldn't look at, as he was currently running past them, making them all turn into a blur.
Living life as a special agent was one of raw, uncomfortable, and unhappy feelings.
His sprinting pace began to slowly slow down as he began to think about what he was doing. He couldn't keep running away, running blindly into every room. Eventually he would be cornered by the zombies or something else. The place seemed to infinitely expand, a concept that was familiar to him after running down in the N.E.S.T Laboratory, a place that was akin to a maze. He made a mental note of everything that was happening.
Zombies are appearing at random locations, at random times, out of thin air, attacking anything they see.
Magical spells or something akin to magic was a concept here, and is capable of being lethal.
These ponies were also a threat, though probably because of miscommunication. They're not targets.
Weapons here were rudimentary. Magic is probably used more than technology.
Lastly, 5. He is the only human he knows of in this place so far that isn't touched by the virus.
Five things. In the training camps this was drilled into each recruit's head, and even the oldest of the special agents knew this concept very well. In any situation, you analyze it in five. Those things are your permanent notes. Run them into your head, never forget them. They will be your key into deciding your next decision. Whether in a social or combat environment.
Hunk looked around himself, analyzing each doorway. There was a very, very big problem however. Staring at the end of the corridor, there was no exit. There were four doorways, but when he ran past them he could see each of them were dead ends. He had caught himself in a corner. He continued to run until he made it at the end, before turning around, shotgun in hand.
There were atleast ten or so ponies who stopped a good fifty feet away, getting into a defensive position. They knew he was at a dead end, they knew he knew that as well, and they also knew that they were the ones with the best advantage. He didn't even raise his shotgun, just kept it at a defensive position, the barrel aiming below chest level.
He raised his left hand up in the air and yelled with an authoritative voice:
"Stop!"
The ponies stayed put, a look of confusion washing over every single one of their faces. They didn't expect him to talk. It almost seemed like Hunk and the group of guards stared at eachother for minutes, but it had only been for a couple seconds. Hunk began to think back everything that he had been trained to do.
Nothing prepared him for this. Hunk was programmed almost to do as he was trained, to do what had always worked. But he had never been caught in a situation where all exits were blocked, where something couldn't be resolved with a few swift pulls of a trigger. He had never been told by his commanding officers how to handle a situation like this. However, what the program that he had been put through did teach him, was a very simple rule.
Do everything you have to in order to get the mission done and survive.
"You've noticed the zombies, haven't you?" He spoke, his voice not changed from earlier, "We are not enemies. Those things appearing out of thin air are our enemies. This is a misunderstanding. We must work together in order to solve this issue."
"Why would we work with somepony that attacked our commander? Former commander, but still-"
"-It was a misunderstanding. Being chased around with spears at my back has caused me to do things that would otherwise be considered acts of terror. You cannot say you haven't played a role in my hostility."
"Perhaps, but-"
"-and if you would like to refute my offering of peace, we can continue with his interaction in a more hostile approach." Hunk raised his shotgun at them, "It's up to you."
Those words that came out of his mouth were something that he had never uttered before. Something that he had never told anyone before. 'Its up to you.' That phrase left all decision making out of Hunks hands, and left him in the dark on its process of being made. He felt powerless, out of control. Something he had never felt before.
Even when facing hundreds of enemies at once, hundreds of times bigger than he was.
Just another thing that was unexpected. The one leading the conversation with Hunk stared at him, obviously thinking about his offer, before nodding his head. The other ponies gave him a weird look, but were forced to agree with what seemed to be their squad-leader. "If you turn on us, you will be put down. We must find the Princess' and ensure their safety. If you want the benefit of the doubt, you'd help us in ensuring their safety."
A bodyguard mission, huh?
Well, atleast that was one thing Hunk was familiar with.
Following someone wasn't exactly what Hunk was trained for, but in this instance it was all he could do. After a quick instruction on how to kill the damned walking flesh-eaters, they were clearing the halls much faster than before. No wonder they weren't clearing them as fast as he was- they were trying to go nonlethal. They didn't understand that these things couldn't talk, or even reason.
They were already dead. A concept that proved to frighten a couple of the little ponies.
It took them awhile, but they were at the entrance of what the leader of the squad had called the 'Contingency Room.' They banged on it, calling out some sort of code, but there wasn't a response. They knew they were inside, but the ponies inside didn't want to possibly open up the door to a bloodbath. The goal for now was to rid the outside area of the zombies. And, thankfully, Hunk was trained on how to do just that.
With his shotgun still in his hands, he made swift work of the zombies in front of him. With the butt of the shotgun against his shoulder, and a tight grip on it, he pulled the trigger to send the fiery bits of lead out of the barrel, letting them expand into multiple pieces before shattering through whatever it came into contact with. That, being a zombie's head. Once the pellets made contact, the zombies face contorted in each direction the pellets pulled, allowing the fragile piece of skin that hung over it's face to rip off.
Pieces of rotten brain and other fleshy bits expanded out the back of its head, before the body fell limp. Lifeless, as it always had been at the moment of turning. The ponies that Hunk had found himself with weren't exactly thrilled with his technique. Compared to theirs, his was quite gritty, and seemingly bloody on purpose. It was as if his weapons were designed to be devastating, not only in effect, but in shock. With each pull of the trigger, a thundering 'boom' echoed throughout the halls.
But Hunk didn't want to waste all of his shells just yet. He needed to spread his ammo count, so using the pistol afterwards seemed like the best bet. After all, out of all the rounds he carried, pistol rounds consisted of most of them. It wasn't as loud, nor bloody as the shotgun, but it left Hunk feeling almost unsatisfied with each pull of the trigger. He wanted to chuckle in his head.
He definitely isn't normal if he's having fun killing.
He knew that from the beginning. That's why he was so good at his job. That's why people were afraid of him. That's why he was here, and no one else was. Because he was so good at killing. Whether it was putting lead into a family, or covering up a secret by massacring his way out of a zombie infested police station, it didn't matter. He did dirty, gritty, terrible things.
And he was fine with it.
A matter in which most would probably be disgusted by. He didn't care. Why would he? There isn't a reason for him to care. He didn't know the people he killed personally, and he never really felt any remorse afterwards. He didn't get rewarded, but he got to do something that he eventually grew to love. Did he grow up loving this feeling, or did they teach him to love it? He wondered, but he knew he would likely never get an answer.
The number of zombies began to slim down exponentially. The ponies proved to be useful in their technique, sending their actual spears through the fragile, cracked skulls of the zombies, or by sending powerful spells to explode their brains into a bloody mess. Either way, Hunk found himself satisfied with their work. They would be useful, especially with their magic back at camp. He could only imagine just how powerful one might find themselves with that kind of power in that kind of society.
They'd be treated like a king.
"That's all of them, I think..." The leader called out, doing a double take of the surrounding area. The floor was littered with rotting corpses, which moments earlier were running after them with the intent to eat them. The smell quickly caught up to the ponies, their noses scrunching up from the mess they had left, but Hunk was used to it. He knew exactly what this smell meant. The smell of a rotting corpse, the smell of blood and the slight smell of lead.
It meant a job well done.
"We've got them cleared! Open up now, will ya?!" The leader called out, banging on the door once again, to which a small latch on the top of the door opened, presenting another ponies face. It was a grey coated female, her eyes orange.
"Is it clear?"
"That's what I said, isn't it?"
"Fine-" She then noticed Hunk. "Oh buck no!" She yelped, shutting the little latch.
The leader groaned, expecting something like this to happen. He banged his hoof onto the door once again, groaning loudly. "Come on- he's on our side! We settled our buckin' differences! He helped us get here and agree'd to help the Princess'. Come on- we can't wait out here forever!"
It took about a full minute before the latch slowly opened again, the female ponies eyes staring at Hunk. A few seconds later, the door slowly opened, presenting what seemed to be a dark hallway on the other side, the walls on each side being dusty and mossy brick. Whatever this door lead to, it was old.
When Hunk passed by, the female squinted her eyes at him. "Don't try anything funny."
Hunk scoffed, continuing behind the other ponies in front of him.
The tight corridor led into a much larger room, filled with the same brick. It was almost as large as the throne room he had found himself in when he got to Equestria. There were two dilapidated thrones, in which Celestia and Luna both sat on, with Twilight sitting beneath them on the floor. They seemed to be talking with several guards, before noticing the group that had just walked in.
Hunk noticed that the two Princess' on the thrones weren't exactly thrilled with his presence. He made sure to keep a tight grip onto his pistol, keeping it aimed below hip-level. He scanned the entire room, noticing there weren't that many guards in the room as he once thought there was. If this was a contingency room, wouldn't there be more guards? Something didn't seem right.
"I demand an explanation." Celestia said, pointing a hoof at Hunk. "Ever since you arrived here, unexpectedly, there has been nothing but chaos. Chaos, on a factor that not even discord can conjure up so easily. I also have plenty of reports that you have injured some of my own guard. It is quite bold of you to walk in here after all of that."
Hunk looked at the leader of the small squad he was following, but he was looking away from him. He knew that the small pony didn't want anything to do with getting in the way of his 'supreme leader.' Hunk looked at Celestia, staring her down before finally speaking.
"Unexpected circumstances have unexpected consequences. Your guards provoked me first. You intended to trap me, to keep me in place. Haven't you seen animals fight to the death for their freedom? What makes my reaction any different from that?" Hunk asked. His voice wasn't monotone, but it definitely was void of most emotion. This world of colorful rainbows wasn't going to change that.
Since Celestia didn't speak up after that, he spoke again. "I helped these guards here," He said, pointing over to the squad he had been following. "-and I gave them a quick explanation on how to rid of those zombies. We are on the same side here. A misunderstanding for sure, but those zombies want me dead as much as they want you dead. Why are they here? I don't know. I don't know why I'm here either, but instead of thinking about things that have already happened, we should look at the future for guidance."
"And what guidance do you give us, hm?" Luna asked, a scowl present on her face.
"To move. This location is compromised. We move to a secure area that's far away from this location. Second, we establish military. Your guards are to be instructed on how to properly kill these threats. Third, we relocate all primary subjects to a neighboring site."
Twilight cocked her head slightly. "W-What about the other ponies?"
Hunk stared at Twilight, his posture unmoving. "They are not primary."
Celestia shook her head. "We've seen enough death here. Getting the elements together will help dismantle this evil-"
"If you don't kill it, it won't go away." Hunk said, focusing back onto Celestia. "They won't stop. You must put them down permanently. The only way to do so, is to locate, aim, and dispose of them by blowing their brains out the back of their skull. It is the only way."
Twilight cringed from the gross description, but stared at Hunk with fascination. Hunk noticed this, turning his head to her, his grip tightening on his pistol. He cocked his head at her. "What." The word held hardly any emotion, but it was clear. It held a certain weight to it.
"W-Well... I've seen humans before, but nothing like... you."
Hunk continued to stare at her, before Celestia brought his attention away from her. "What is your name?"
Hunk stared at them. "H.U.N.K."
"Hunk?" Celestia questioned.
"Human Unit Never Killed. I am a specialist for the Umbrella Corporation, working with the BOW department."
"BOW?" Celestia questioned again.
"Bioweapon."
Celestia shook her head, looking over to her sister before whispering something. "We hardly know what he is talking about. He is dangerous, he is a threat, he has injured plenty of our guards, and has the means to do harm at any point in time. As much as I would not like to think of this as a regular option, dear sister, I believe we should... get rid of him."
Hunk heard this through his headset, and aimed his pistol towards Celestia, prompting all the guards to stand and aim their spears towards him. "Proposing an idea in which to eradicate me will only prove to be detrimental. I know what these things are. I understand how they function. You do not."
He slowly holstered his pistol, letting the guards drop their spears before he swung his shotgun from his back and cocked it towards Celestia. "If you would like, we can move along with your proposition. What do you have to say?"
"My magic could easily block your advances."
"My advances towards you, sure. But what about your guards? "
He was right. She wouldn't be able to predict which guard he would attack first, and he would likely be able to do significant damage to one before she would be able to dispose of him. A guards life for his? It might prove worthy logically, but ethically, it was bust. She was out of luck.
She sighed.
"Fine. Please enlighten us with your tactics, Hunk." She said sarcastically.
Author's Note
A talking chapter with our boy hunk. I'll say- it's a little weird writing him, since he's not exactly the... audible type.
"Your sarcasm isn't going to get you anywhere. I don't need you to survive, but we'd be better off with eachother. Don't mistake yourself as a high priority to me. You don't know what's going on, and to a certain extent neither do I. Yet I know much more than you do." He said, eyeing Twilight, causing her to recoil back slightly in confusion.
Hunk continued. "These creatures you'll be fighting aren't going to stop once you hit them a couple times. Obliteration of the skull will kill them, as I said before, but nothing else will do the trick. We need to move somewhere-"
Suddenly, a guard ran into the room, holding a spear and a vial in his telekinesis, clearly out of breath. "P-Princess'!"
Both Princess Celestia and Luna stood up after being addressed by the guard who was obviously in distress. Hunk didn't keep his eyes off of the vial, staring at it while the rest of the guards got close to the pony to check for injuries. "T-They seem to be attracted to this!" He said, levitating the vial higher in the air.
That confirmed Hunk's suspicion.
Hunk jumped up and grabbed the vial, causing a few of the guards to back up. He brought it close to his mask, identifying the official marking of the vial.

A new mission objective formed in Hunks mind as he stared at the vial. To protect the vial, and get it to extraction. He knew that he had aroused suspicion by grabbing at the vial so suddenly, so he presented the vial to everyone in the room, holding it high in the air. "This is the key to removing the monsters from your world, but you do not have the expertise to do so-" Suddenly the vial tugged into a random direction as if it was being pulled by a magnet.
"I need to follow it..." Hunk told himself, staring down at the vial. He glanced up at Celestia and Luna, along with the other guards, and shook his head. He wasn't going to make it with them- classic royalty complex with guards who do anything they say. Along with a small student who isn't made of royalty material, but is probably used in other ways. Hunk took a quick scan around the room before staring at the exit.
He then bolted out of the room.
"STOP HIM!" He heard Celestia yell from behind as he pushed past many of the guards, kicking the exit open and flinging himself into the hallway filled with plenty of zombies. He quickly deposited the vial into one of his many pockets lined on his chest, and kept his shotgun close to himself. He felt the vial tug forwards in his pocket, causing him to follow its directions and run straight ahead.
Exactly where plenty of the zombies were.
He pulled his shotgun into his shoulder and ran right in front of a zombie, almost letting the barrel touch the rotten skin that used to be its lips before pulling the trigger, a deafening blast echoing off the marble walls that were soon coated in grey matter and blood. Hunk shoved the body to the side and continued with his running.
He could hear plenty of guards behind him, and even Celestia who was also apparently in the chase. He quickly turned around and shot a random shot at knee-level, seemingly striking Celestia in the legs in the distance. He didn't have time to confirm if he hit her or not, and instead kept running.
The hallways became more confusing as he ran, but the vial told him exactly where to go. The guard from earlier was correct in his suspicions; it was attracting the zombies towards himself. It served as a double-edged sword though as it seemed to create a wall behind him to prevent Celestia or any of her guards from getting him.
The vial suddenly tugged to his right hard, and he followed its command. He entered a room that was lined with chariots, the end of the room being open-faced off the cliff. This was some sort of vehicle transportation room, and there was only one pegasus in the room.
He ran to the pegasus and forced his shotgun into the poor pony's face. "Start driving."
"Wh-"
"You drive, or you die! Get!" Hunk yelled, causing the pegasus to quickly mount himself onto one of the chariots. Dozens of zombies started to flood the room from the small entrance, which only caused the pegasus to move faster. It seemed to Hunk that this pegasus was the emergency driver for any of the chariots in case of an emergency, and he had been simply waiting for someone to show up.
A few seconds later, and with Hunk in the back of the chariot, they were off into the air.
It floated effortlessly in the sky, even with a singular pony pulling it. The familiar feeling of uneasiness and imbalance in the air was removed, probably from some magical enchantment in the chariot. As Hunk looked back towards the castle, he could see a golden beam off in the distance, blowing multiple human bodies off the cliff.
Seemed like Celestia wasn't exactly happy with the zombies, or Hunk.
The tugging in his pocket from the vial stopped for the time being. Hunk turned to the front of the Chariot, checking the pegasus out finally. He was a brown plain pegasus with black hair, his cutie-mark being that of a wooden wheel. Compared to all of the colorful ponies within the world, he got the most boring one.
He shrugged. Who cared.
"Turn right!" Hunk yelled to the Pegasus pulling the chariot. The Pegasus reluctantly began to turn to the right. Hunk held the small vial in his hands, sighing to himself. With a glance behind the floating chariot, he knew that he had a limited amount of time before Celestia would be on him in an instant. She had wings, and he knew she could use them. Whatever she was doing, he knew it was buying him valuable time.
If she did come after him, a couple bullets flying at her through the air could prove to stop her in her tracks, either for a limited time or permanently. It didn't matter to him if she died, or her sister or that damned purple bitch of hers. The one who kept staring at him weirdly. The only thing that mattered to him was getting the vial to extraction, and he had a hunch that the vial was leading him to that exact location.
A small voice tugged at the back of his mind.
Don't you feel any regret for betraying them, even if you barely knew them?
Hunk chuckled to himself, shaking his head. Of course he didn't regret it. It was in his nature to get the mission done. Everything else didn't matter, even his own survival. He was a soldier, and soldier's did what they were told to do. Something that Hunk learned over the time he spent with Umbrella was that missions often clashed with morals, and those that could not accept that missions were more important were kicked out, or exterminated on the spot.
"Land there!" Hunk yelled to the Pegasus, pointing down at a dark forest.
"B-But-"
"Land it!" Hunk yelled much more harshly, causing the Pegasus to flinch and do as he was told. As they were descending, a bright orange ball flew right past the Chariot, hitting the tree's below and causing a fire to erupt. Hunk turned around, seeing a pure-white Alicorn in the distance, accompanied along with her sister and her student flying directly at him. As soon as the chariot landed, Hunk hit the grass and began running as fast as he possibly could.
He kept his shotgun in his right hand, holding it by the barrel, whilst holding the vial in his left hand. It was guiding him, tugging even harder than before. He ran to the direction it pulled in knowing that there was little to no time to get there. He could hear the three Alicorns landing behind him, and supposedly Celestia began to fire off more fire-balls through the entire forest, allowing the balls to cut through tree's and ignite even more of the forest.
His radio began to buzz with an insane amount of chatter before Nighthawk's voice poked through. "Hunk- Hunk where the hell are you?!"
"Nighthawk? Good, I'm almost to extraction. Where are you?"
"I'm near the entrance of RPD, but we got no time! You need to hurry your ass up or else we're both turning into glass!"
"Got it." Hunk acknowledged, still running as fast as he could. He could see what looked like to be some sort of blue portal in the distance, the exact direction the vial was tugging in. Each second he got closer and closer to the extraction, knowing that he would soon be out of this colorful hellhole.
"Twilight- block him!" Celestia commanded from behind.
"But Princess-"
"BLOCK HIM!"
A Purple blur appeared in front of Hunk, just a few feet from the portal. Yet the poor thing didn't know what else to do after that, which allowed Hunk to barrel straight towards her and tackle her to the floor, grabbing for his pistol and putting it to her head and pulling her up with him. She was now his hostage.
He kicked his dropped shotgun through the portal, his radio buzzing once again. "Hunk! God damnit- Where are you?!"
"Don't you dare touch my student- my Twilight!" Celestia growled whilst Luna stayed extremely quiet.
"Here's what's going to happen-" Hunk groaned, holding the now struggling Twilight within his grasp. "I'm going to go through that portal, and before I go through it I'm going to let go of your precious student. If you don't allow me to do this, she get's a bullet through the brain. Understood?"
Celestia groaned, nodding only once in compliance.
"Good." Hunk said, slowly backing up to the portal, inching ever so closely to the extraction, the vial in his hand that currently held Twilight tugging insanely hard now. Yet instead of holding true to his deal, he turned around and kicked Twilight through the portal, turning around to watch Celestia's, and Luna's shocked expressions.
"I lied."
Hunk jumped through the portal.
FOURTY-EIGHT HOURS LATER
"Upon review of Hunk's body camera, we were able to see all of the events that played out in this 'alternate universe' that he was transported to. With the eventual compliance and help from Twilight Sparkle, a resident of this 'alternate universe', we will be able to devise a way to bridge both the worlds.
"Testing will never have been easier, and we have a world we can use at our own discretion whenever we need it. I congratulate Hunk once again for a job well done, for both retrieving the G-Virus vial from the underground NEST Laboratory, and escaping and providing proof of another universe. The next step in this evolution is to get our dear Twilight Sparkle to help us."
Multiple Umbrella doctors were sitting in a room listening to the Chairman give a speech before one of them raised their hands, the Chairman pointing at them and allowing them to speak. "How will we get her to help us? We can't brainwash her because she'd lose all of her valuable knowledge, but getting her to betray her own world? That seems far-fetched."
The Chairman nodded. "It's going to be difficult, but we will eventually get there. She will be a valuable, and respected member of the Umbrella team, and we shall congratulate her once she has provided us with the necessary means of transportation between both of our worlds. Within time, contact will arise again."
Hunk, who was currently in the corner of the room took a step forward. "What do I need to do."
The Chairman looked at Hunk and gave him a smile. "All you need to do is prepare. You will be making a return to that world eventually, and when you do, they will finally understand what your name truly means. Now, let us get to work. We've got a new member to recruit, and a portal to create."
"Yes sir!"

"Bridging the gap between our world and theirs is not so hard after all. Spencer shall be happy to hear this, and our testing has only begun. Twilight Sparkle will be the downfall of her own people."
