She saw out of the corner of her eye, a Mint unicorn with a red pot full of 5 bits and a young filly looking like she was about to cry. Cheese ran over to the sight, “hey, leave the poor filly alone!” The unicorn looked over at Cheese before saying “hey, she took the pot from me!”The unicorn exclaimed. Cheese glanced at the stallion with an unimpressed look. “Really?” “I saw you take the pot.” The unicorn groaned in confusion and ran off leaving the pot with the filly. Cheese watched as the stallion ran away, feeling bad for the foal she walked over to talk to her. Cheese smiled at Peanut, she returned the smile happily before Cheese said “do you wanna spend some time with me?” “We can have some fun and get to know eachother.” Peanut smiled and replied with, “yes!” “I’d love to spend time with you ma’am!” Peanut beamed. Hair StylingCheese Sandwich and Peanut Flash walked down the streets talking to eachother and asking questions, “So, do you have any parents Peanut Flash?” Cheese asked. “No, I’ve been an orphan for as long as I can remember, I haven’t really had what others call a childhood.” Peanut said. “It’s ok Peanut, I didn’t have a great childhood aswell, my dad drank and it was me and my mother most of the time”. Cheese replied lifting up Peanuts head by her chin. Peanut smiled and carried on walking. “Anyway, where are we going?” Peanut asked. “Oh, we’re going to get your hair styled!” Cheese replied. “Wait, really?” Peanut replied “oh, thank you thank you thank you!” She said hugging Cheese’s leg. “You’re quite welcome!” Cheese laughed. The two carried on walking until they reached the hair styling shop. They opened the doors and walked in. “Oh, hello there what may I help you with?” A brown earth pony said. “My little friend here is going to get her mane styled”. Cheese said. “Very nice Mrs Sandwich, do you want me to change her mane length?” The brown mare asked. Cheese looked over at Peanut who nodded her head as if she was saying no. “She says no”. “Very well then” the brown mare replied. “Now come here so we can get your mane styled.” She beckoned with one hoof for Peanut to come over. Peanut flew over and sat on the chair, “we’re gonna get your mane nice and stylish for you”. She smiled at Peanut. Peanut smiled back. Before Peanut knew it, the brown mare declared she was done and span around a mirror for Peanut to see what she’d done. Her mane was in a plat and her green ribbon had been replaced with a blue bow. “So do you like it?” Cheese asked looking at Peanut in the chair. “I love it!” “Thank you two!” Peanut replied with a huge smile on her face. Party Business AfootThe new friends walked through the streets of Fillydelphia together, talking more about things when their chat came to a halt when Cheese’s cheesy sense went off. Peanut Flash looked up and said “oh, your cheesy sense is going off, I should let you get on with your party planning business and go back to the wall.” Peanut said trying to hide tears in her eyes. Cheese, not wanting to see her new little friend sad said, “Oh Peanut, I cant leave you back over there on that wall waiting for some pony to notice you.” “Really?” “Of course, what kind of friend would do that?” Cheese smiled warmly at Peanut who smiled back. “Cmon little buddy, I’m sure Boneless wouldn’t mind you tagging along.” Peanut smiled and hugged Cheese again, who hugged her back. They walked over to the border of Fillydelphia only to find her friend Pinkie Pie’s close friend, Applejack. “Cheese Sandwich?” Applejack said, “I didn’t know you were here, but may I ask, who’s this little gal?” Applejack said pointing a hoof at Peanut Flash. “Oh her?” She replied to the orange farmpony. “She’s Peanut Flash, she’s an orphan so she doesn’t have anywhere to stay, so she’s travelling with me.” Cheese said, Peanut Flash nodded and Applejack smiled. “Aw, such a nice friendship y'all have”. She said shaking Peanuts hoof. A brown border collie come dashing over and jumped up at Peanut and barked playfully. “Now now Winona, don’t be gettin’ to excited, the party hasn’t began yet.” She said lightly patting her loyal dogs head. Staying at the factoryCheese had walked with Peanut all the way back to the gag factory. “So here it is, this is where you’ll be staying the night, hopefully if I get you somewhere to stay for tomorrow.” Cheese said opening the doors of the building. Peanut yawned “…thank you” She said in a tired voice. Cheese smiled and walked Peanut up the stairs. She placed Peanut down onto her office chair and put a blanket over her. “Night Peanut…” Cheese said. “…n…night mama…” Peanut said before falling straight to sleep. Cheese looked at the sleeping filly before saying “I have to do something for her…” Do it for herCheese silently snook out of the factory and galloped to the Ponyville orphanage, when she finally arrived she stopped running, took a deep breath and went in. “Hello?” A yellow earth pony said. “Hello ma’am, could I talk to you for a minute?” Cheese asked. The yellow mare nodded. Cheese sat down on the chair and started explaining everything. The owner of the orphanage was shocked to her Peanut Flashes story, “so do you think I could maybe adopt her?” Cheese asked. The yellow mare looked at her before saying, “yes, you can but please sign theses adoption papers so you can officially become her adopted mother.” Cheese nodded and signed the papers. She walked out of the orphanage and back to the factory to tell Peanut the news. A Happy EndingCheese woke Peanut up during the sunrise to break the news. “Peanut, you’ll never guess what you have now!” She cried. “What?” “What do I have now?” Peanut asked in a confused manner. “A mother!” Cheese said with tears in her eyes. Peanut started to cry and jumped in for a hug “m-mama!” Peanut cried. “That’s right, I won’t let anypony or anycreature harm you, ever.” Cheese hugged the filly. “Thank you so much”... Peanut cried. She had no trace of contact with her biological parents. Not that she wanted to anyway, she started her day like any other, she checked if her little red pot that kept her bits safe hadn’t been stolen. Luckily it hadn’t been, she went over to the local splash parks to give herself a wash. “Well, what a nice way to start my morning, again...anyway less with the unenthusiastic tone, I need to get some food”. The beige filly said. She trotted over to a local restaurant not far from the splash park, “hello?” “Sugar Loaf?” She yelled at the door of the small restaurant. The door creaked open and she was greeted by a familiar pale orange earth pony with white splatters and her mane tied back in a bun. “Oh!” “Why hello Peanut Flash, would you like your morning pastry?” Sugar Loaf asked. “Yes please Sugar Loaf” Peanut Flash smiled. Sugar Loaf handed a freshly baked loaf of bread, “here you go darling, also take these bits for your little pot”. The middle-aged mare said in her sweet manner. “Thanks Sugar Loaf!” Peanut Flash replied taking the bread and bits. After The PartyThe sun had just started to lower to make way for the moon, and the party had came to an end. “Well, that was one mighty fine party if I do say so.” Applejack said shaking Cheese’s hoof. “Now come here Winona, we’ve oughta go home to harvest some apples.” Applejack said to Winona who barked goodbye to Cheese and Peanut. Applejack waved and walked away with Winona. “Well, that was a great party wasn’t it Peanut?” Cheese asked. “It was!” “I loved Winona, she was so friendly!” Peanut laughed. “We should get going, it’s getting later by the minute, but one question, do you have anywhere to sleep?” Cheese asked Peanut. Peanut sighed and looked away, only to reply with a gentle “no”. Cheese frowned “maybe you could stay at the laugh factory?” She asked Peanut. Peanut looked up with a smile on her face. “Really?” Peanut asked. “Really.” Cheese replied smiling. “Thank you so much!” “I don’t know what I’d do if I never met you!” Peanut cried happy tears and hugged her new friend.
