Rainbow Dash and Applejack were one time lovers. Everything was perfect, their friends were completely supportive of their relationship and they didn't seem to have a care in the world. But things eventually took turns for the worse and ended up causing their break up, still leaving them friends in the end. Rainbow Dash thought things were fine, considering how much time had passed without either of them speaking about the past until Applejack invited Dash down one evening, which wasn't unusual but she seemed a bit off for some reason.
