Sibling Revelry
Chapter the Tenth: Together
Previous ChapterNext ChapterIt was now Monday morning, and they were both very sore from their almost constant sex. Twilight grunted as she sat up. "I think we should stop now, dearest."
"I agree," laughed Shining Armor, rolling off of the bed and onto the floor. "I don't think my arse has ever been this raw before."
Twilight took a long swig from a bottle of sports drink she had brought with her. She was running low on fluids. "Why don't you shower first, then? I'll start in on breakfast." With a quick peck on the lips, she left the room.
Shining Armor crawled to the bathroom and climbed into the shower. He was very glad that his parents had invested in a shower seat, as he was feeling the need for it by now. Running his hands over his body, he found all of the markings from the many sexual activities they'd performed. There were welts on his nipples from the clamps, small lacerations from the whip, and several contusions around his arse. They had overdone it this time. Next time, they'd have to slow down and focus on their relationship.
He felt so much better after his shower. The cold water really helped with the swelling and bruising. He felt absolutely refreshed and ready to resume his duties in the Crystal Empire. In his eyes, that made this a productive weekend. He dried himself off and made his way to the dining room, where his sister had breakfast ready.
"Wow," chuckled Twilight. "You certainly look refreshed."
"I feel it, too," chuckled Shiny, sitting down to his meal. "I feel like I could take on anything right now."
"How about you start with taking on breakfast, dear?"
After a lovely meal, it was Twilight's turn to shower. As the sound of running water echoed through the bedroom, Shining Armor stripped the sheets from the bed. Once again, they would need to wash everything quickly. He came back with a fresh set, glad that all of his parents' bedspreads were identical. As he was fluffing the pillows, he accidentally knocked over a small jewelry box on the nightstand.
Twilight picked that exact moment to come out of the bathroom. "What's that, Shiny?"
Shining Armor reached down and picked up the box. As he picked it up, the lid opened, revealing their parents' wedding rings. "Twily, look." The two sat down on the bed, just staring at the rings. "Why would they leave these behind?"
"Perhaps they're just worried about losing them?" posited Twilight. "I think I like that answer more than the alternative."
"I'm not so optimistic, Twily. This is very worrying to me."
Twilight began to rub her brother's back. "It'll be okay, Shiny. You're going to be just fine."
Shining Armor began to weep. Even though Twilight's assumption was absolutely correct, they couldn't be sure without asking, and they couldn't ask without revealing why they had been in the room in the first place. Twilight, not wanting her brother to feel the way he did, picked up their mother's wedding band.
"Shining Armor, son of Night Light and Twilight Velvet, I promise to you that no matter what happens, I will stay with you." She slid the ring onto his smallest finger. It was still too small to fit, but the symbolism was still there. "Through thick and through thin, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better or worse, I make this solemn vow that I will always be there when you need me. You shall never be alone, for I will be with you. If not physically, then in spirit. We will be together until death takes us both." Lifting Shining Armor's chin, she met his lips with her own. It was a deeply passionate kiss. "I love you, Shiny."
Shining Armor sniffled. He felt much better now. Not to be outdone, he picked up his father's wedding band and slipped it onto his little sister's finger. It was much too large. "Twilight Sparkle, Daughter of Twilight Velvet and Night Light, with this ring comes the promise that I will always be your older brother, as well as your lover. I will never leave you completely alone. Whenever you call for me, I vow to come running, no matter the distance. Come rain, shine or fiery hail, You will always have me by your side, even if only in spirit. This will be so until both of us have died, and beyond." He returned his sister's kiss. "I love you, Twily. Now and forever."
Wrapping their arms around each other, tears began to flow down their cheeks. They were bonded to each other forever now. Not just in blood, but in marriage. Even if their parents were separating, which they weren't, Twilight and Shining Armor knew that they would be close to each other for all of eternity.
They returned the rings to the box, placing it lovingly on the nightstand. With a quick spray of odor eliminator, the room was clean and ready for their parents' return. With their toys and clothes all put away, they spent the rest of their time cuddling on the couch until their parents arrived.
"Hey, Shiny?" asked Twilight, looking up at her brother. "Last time we were here, you came inside of me."
"I did, yes."
"And yet, when I took a pregnancy test, it came back negative."
"I've been snipped, Twily. I can't produce children anymore." Shining Armor gently brushed his sister's mane aside. "For us, I'd say that's a good thing. If we had a baby, everypony would have questions. Where did it come from? Furthermore, think of the health problems it would have."
"Yeah, you're right. I'm not complaining, I was just curious."
Before long, their parents came home, and the siblings had to return to their façade.
"Good afternoon, kids," smiled Night Light. "Have fun?"
"We did," responded Twilight, running over and hugging her father. "Any time you want us to housesit for you again, you only need but to ask."
"We'll certainly keep you in mind," he chuckled. "Now, you two have a safe trip home."
Twilight and Shiny once again walked hand in hand to the train station. Even though they were going their separate ways, they had made their promises to each other. No matter how far apart they were, they would always come back to each other.
