But it turns out that they lied. They don’t care about me, or what I’m feeling. All that matters to them is the wedding.” Then she suddenly heard something. ”Twilight” She jerked herself around when she heard the sound. “Who’s there?” She asked. No answer. “Okay, it probably was just my imagination.” She said to herself, continuing to look out the window. But she heard it again, this time louder. ”Twilight, come find us.” “Who are you?” She asked the strange voice. She got a response, but this time it was even louder and clearer. ”We will not reveal anything about us at this moment. Come find us, and everything will be explained.” “But I don’t even know where you are.” Replied Twilight. The voice began to slowly get quieter. Do not worry, for we will lead you to us. It soon was as quiet as when Twilight first heard it. Come find us. Twilight, feeling the direction that she should go, teleports to the Whitetail woods. Meanwhile, everypony else was preparing for the wedding, not even paying attention to the fact that the guards had just informed them that Twilight left the castle. Twilight was now standing in front of the entrance to the Whitetail woods. “Well, this is where I’m supposed to go.” She said to herself. She walked into the forest. Passing the large amount of trees, she found a small pond. She went to drink from it when a water tentacle rose out of the middle of the pond. Twilight got a little afraid of the tentacle, and the tentacle sensed this. The water morphed into a flag and began waving it, as if to say that it came in peace. Twilight calmed down and asked the water tentacle, “Um, I’m looking for a temple or something. Do you know where it is?” The tentacle moved up and down, clearly saying “Yes.” “Where is it?” The tentacle morphed into an arrow pointing northeast. “Northeast?” Replied Twilight, getting another nod from the water. “Thanks, water tentacle.” As Twilight began walking away, she looked back and saw the water, now in the form of a outstretched hoof, waving at her. She waved back at it, smiling. “Goodbye, I’ll see you again.” Twilight continued walking in the direction of the temple for several dozen minutes before it came into view. “This must be it.” She mumbled, stopping for a second. “Hello?” Said Twilight. ”Hello, Twilight. We have been expecting you.”Said the same voice that she heard in the castle back in Canterlot. “So, now that I’m here, I’ve got two questions.” “What are your questions?” Said the voice, now just as loud as she was. “Who are you?” “I am the 24 elementals of the universe. Chaos, Earth, Air, Light, Fire, Water, Shadow, Metal, Sand, Nature, Sound, Gravity, Healing, Spirit, Crystal, Portal, Electricity, Energy, Ice, Blood, Poison, Dream, Time, and Galaxy. Now what is your second question?” “Why did you want me? Why not choose somepony else?” “Because Twilight, you are prophesied to become the Elemental Queen. The prophecy states that the pony with fur of purple and mark of the stars will become the Queen, the Elemental master. That is you, Twilight.” “And what if I refused to become the Elemental Queen?” “Then we will be stuck as the spirits of the elementals for the rest of time. But if you accept, you’ll gain more power than anything else that exists, and no amount of magic will be able to defeat you.” “One more question.” Replied Twilight. “Of course.” “Does this power corrupt the wielder?” “It does not. At least, not alone.” “What does that mean?” “The wielder of the elementals may have evil intentions, and may use our power for evil rather than good. Now I have a question for you.” “W-what is it?” “Do you have any evil intentions for our power?” “No. I don’t.” Replied Twilight, “This is my home, and I don’t want it to be destroyed.” “Good, Twilight. Now, do you accept our power?” “I’ll need a few minutes to think about this.” “Take all the time you need.” Twilight turned around and laid down, thinking about what she should do. If I do this, then I’ll be able to protect Equestria from any threats. And if I don’t, these spirits will be stuck as spirits for the rest of time. I need to do this. “I’ve made my decision. I’ll become the Elemental Queen.” “Very well. Now walk inside the temple onto the middle of the ring and we’ll do the rest.” Replied the spirits. The door to the temple began to open. When it opened all the way, Twilight began walking inside. The torches on each side lit up, revealing the inside to be a large room with a giant circular stone table with symbols representing each elemental, and 24 statues behind each symbol with the same symbol as the ones on the table. Twilight walked towards the center of the table, looking around at the inside of the table. When stopped moving, the 24 symbols began glowing. The statutes released a different colored mist from them which began to swirl around Twilight. The mists slowly surrounded Twilight more and more until she was completely surrounded by them. After 15 minutes, the mists began to enter Twilight, giving her their power. Purple wings with green and red swirling throughout each that grew into a darker purple as it grew closer to the tips. Her mane and tail grew 3 more strips. They were orange, blue, and green, and she looked like Celestia, except that her coat was now only half light purple, which faded into black with white dots on her upper body and head. Her eyes now looked like portals, and were electrified. Her horn was now crystallized with the top half a bloody red color and the bottom half was a sandy brown color. “Interesting new appearance the powers gave me.” “Of course. Now, it’ll take a while to fully master the powers we have given you. But now that I’m with you forever, I’ll help you to master them.” “How long will it take?” Asked Twilight “It should take 15 years at the most.” “15 years?” “Yes. If we could make it be less time, we would. But we can’t. I’m sorry.” “Where will I be learning to master the elemental powers?” Asked Twilight “There’s a secret place meant for that about 3,000 miles from here. But I have the power to teleport you there in a few seconds from here.” “Okay, we’ll head there tomorrow.” Replied Twilight, “Goodnight, um, what should I call you?” “Call me, Silent Spirit.” “Okay, goodnight Silent.” “Goodnight, Queen Twilight.” Replied Silent. Twilight’s kingdom15 years later “Whew, that was a lot of training. But I think that I’ve got the hang of these powers.” “Well done, Queen Twilight.” Replied Silent. “You’re finally ready to claim your kingdom.” “Where is it?” Asked Twilight “It’s 135 dozen miles north of here. You’ll be able to get there in about 3 and 1/2 hours on hoof.” “Good. Which method of transportation should we be taking?” “I suggest using your wings. That combined with your sound power, and we’ll get there in just an hour and a half.” “Excellent. Let’s head out immediately, but first.” Twilight constructed a pony using her shadow power and injected the spirit of Silent into it. “Just so that it doesn’t seem like I’m talking to myself. What do you think, Silent?” “I like it. I appreciate you doing this. I’ve been stuck in spirit form, not being able to talk to anypony for forever. But now I’m able to. Thank you for that.” “That’s what friends are for, Silent.” “Friend?” “Yes, friend. You’ve never had a friend before, have you?” Asked Twilight “No. I haven’t. I’ve only been able to talk to you since my creation at the beginning of time.” “Well, you do now, Silent.” Replied Twilight. “So, ready to go to where my new kingdom will be?” “Of course.” Replied Silent. “Let’s go.” Twilight then changed their appearances to look like sound waves. The duo began to travel at the speed of sound across the forest and valley behind it. “So, what exactly does my kingdom look like?” Asked Twilight “Well, it’s not really built yet.” Replied Silent, “But you can create it using your powers to be whatever you wish.” “Really? Interesting.” “Just a little farther, Twilight.” “Really? I thought that it was going to take longer than that.” “That was for if we were flying without your powers. But now we are traveling at the speed of sound, so it doesn’t take as long to arrive.” Twilight and Silent traveled for 15 more minutes before landing at the sight of Twilight’s Kingdom. “This is the location.” Said Silent. “What do you wish your castle to look like, Twilight?” “Hmm.” Replied Twilight, before using her powers to create the castle. She divided the base of the castle into 24 different sections, one for each elemental. The castle began to rise out from the ground, slowly being formed to look like each elemental. The first section was a jumbled mess of colors and patterns, which represented chaos. The second section was a mixture of brown and green, which represented earth. The castle floated above the rest of the kingdom. Each section was floated separate from the main castle, but joined by more floating islands. Each section of the castle had a high tower above it with a flag that contained a image of the elemental that the section was based on. Twilight’s room in the castle was at the very top of the highest tower and had a combination of all seven elementals, and her throne room was right in the middle of the castle. It had 24 stained glass windows, 12 on one side, 11 on the other, depicting 23 of the elemental powers. The 24th was above her throne. The castle was complete, now Twilight began to form the kingdom surrounding it. She used her earth powers to form the houses and buildings in the kingdom. The kingdom spread out from the castle for 2,000 miles in every direction. When she finished creating her kingdom, she was pleased with the results. But she wasn’t done yet. The ground began to shake, as a large crack began forming a mile away from the beginning of the kingdom. When the crack had spread all the way around, the ground began to rise into the sky, until it was completely separated from the ground. The mile between the kingdom and the edge of the floating island began to break into several dozen smaller floating islands and began to form a floating staircase connecting it to the ground before returning and circling the kingdom like a planet’s rings circle the planet. Twilight began to use her earth powers to make beautiful plants and trees grow on more islands that she took from the ground, expanding her kingdom. The islands began to float away from where the main floating island came from, leaving several craters there. As Twilight’s kingdom was still traveling in the sky, she saw a large group of 7 dozen bat-ponies, 3 hundred changelings, and 145 Kirin on the ground looking up at the floating kingdom. She ordered the kingdom to halt and the ring of islands to form the bridge, allowing the creatures to climb up. “Hello.” Said Twilight, “What are all of you doing so far away from civilization?” One of the bat-ponies began to speak, “We were all cast out of our homes. Then we found each other and have been looking for a home ever since.” “Well, you don’t have to look any longer. I’m allowing all of you to join my kingdom.” “R-really?” Replied one of the changelings. “Yes. I’m not a cruel monster who leaves creatures such as yourselves to fend for themselves.” Replied Twilight “Thank you. We are all very grateful. What should we call you?” “Call me, Twilight Sparkle, Queen of this kingdom of the elementals. My advisor will show you where your new homes will be.” Twilight brought Silent into his shadowy form and told him about her new subjects. “I need you to lead them to their new homes in the south district. Can you do that?” “Anything, Twilight. Come on, everycreature. Follow me to see where your new homes are.” As Silent was leading the creatures to their new homes, Twilight was looking out at the sunset with a look of complete satisfaction of her accomplishments that day. She then flew to her bedroom at the top of the castle and took one last look out at her kingdom before the moon rose in the sky. Author's Note The kingdom of the elementals is now complete. Twilight is officially Queen. Next chapter will be after a time skip Kingdom’s growth/journey to Equestria20 years after Twilight became Queen, her kingdom had been completely filled up with a huge variety of different creatures. There was more changelings, griffons, hippogriffs, hybrid ponies, monster ponies, dragons, and tons more. But Twilight had more creatures that needed new homes, so she had decided to expand her kingdom. She used her magic steering system, created 19 years and 11 months before, to travel back to where she first created her kingdom. When she arrived, she set the kingdom down back into the ground and had everything fused together as if it was never removed. She also fused the floating islands that were circling the main island back to it. Once that was done, she removed most of the trees on the south side of the kingdom in order to create new houses and buildings to add to her kingdom. The cleared land spread out for another 2,365 miles, buildings(some hotels) and houses decorating it with the remaining trees. Twilight also decided to make her castle bigger. She gathered more floating islands from the flat terrain and separated her castle from the rest of the kingdom, replacing the crater with a several of the largest floating islands she just gathered, while the rest(800,000,000) were fused to the island that her castle rested on. Twilight’s castle began to grow higher, now having several different sections branching out from the 24 main sections of the castle, each being extra groups of rooms and hallways, before separating from the castle and being reconnected by more floating islands to the each of the 24 main sections, also having towers with flags, while the main wings became even larger. The kingdom began to split into four parts, and the main part of the castle began to lower into the middle before the four parts began to fuse to the main section. The unused miles of terrain began to break apart into millions of floating islands. 1/4 floated from the upper left side of the floating islands to the lower right side, 1/4 did the opposite, 1/4 floated from left to right, and the last 1/4 floating from above the floating islands to the bottom. Twilight also gathered 25 hundred thousand more floating islands and added more beautiful vegetation on each. Her kingdom was now an empire, and she was now Empress Twilight. She was ready to return to Equestria. “Hey Silent.” Said Twilight, “Are you ready to visit my former home?” “I am, Empress Twilight.” “Good. We’ll be arriving there soon.” Replied Twilight. Meanwhile in Equestria, the ponies were going about their business. Mares and stallions were shopping in the Ponyville marketplace, while their fillies and colts were at school. Suddenly, pegasi began to notice a giant clump of floating islands heading towards the town. One of the pegasi that noticed was a member of the wonderbolts who was training with the rest of the wonderbolts. She had a light blue coat and a rainbow mane and tail. “Wonderbolts. There’s a strange clump of floating islands heading this way.” She said, “We should check it out.” The wonderbolts began flying towards the largest of the floating islands. As they got closer, they noticed that there was an entire empire on the biggest of the islands. “Rainbow dash.” Said a wonderbolt named Spitfire. “Go inform the Princesses about this while we investigate.” “Yes ma’am.” Replied Rainbow dash, before flying towards Canterlot as fast as she could. She zoomed to the entrance to the castle. “I need to see Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.” She said to the guards, “It’s urgent.” The guards nodded and opened the doors to the castle, allowing Rainbow to zoom towards the throne room. She burst through when she got to the doors. “Princesses, there’s a floating empire coming towards Ponyville. I was told to come here to inform you.” “Bring us to it.” Replied Princess Celestia, “We would like to see this for ourselves.” Rainbow dash led the Princesses out towards the floating empire. “Here it is.” She said. Celestia and Luna flew towards the castle in the center and flew into one the castle towards it’s throne room. “Ah, welcome to the Elemental Empire, Princesses Celestia and Luna.” Said Twilight, sitting on her throne. “Who are you and how do you know our names?” Asked Luna. “I don’t know.” Replied Twilight, sarcastically. “Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I’m your former student, Celestia.” Both Celestia’s and Luna’s eyes grew wide. “T-Twilight? Is that really you?” Questioned Celestia “It is indeed, Celestia.” Replied Twilight. “W-what happened to you?” “Well, after I was cast out of my brother’s wedding, I heard a voice guiding me to an ancient temple. The voice, which belonged to a spirit named Silent Spirit, gave me the choice to become the master of the 24 elemental powers. I accepted the offer and was given this new appearance. 15 years later, I created this place using my powers. And I’ve been giving creature castaways a new home here.” “But why didn’t you come back? We all missed you.” Replied Celestia. “I didn’t come back because I have a empire now.” Said Twilight. “Now leave my sight before I call my guards.” But neither of them moved. “I didn’t want to have to do this. GUARDS!” Two guards, a changeling and a ghost-pony, came to the throne room immediately. “What is it you wish, Empress Twilight?” They asked, no hatred in their voice. “Escort these two back to Canterlot, located on that mountain.” Replied Twilight, pointing to the mountain in the distance. “As you wish, your highness.” The two guards directed Celestia and Luna back to Canterlot, just as Twilight requested them to do. “Now, I will put my floating empire right on the outskirts of Ponyville.” Twilight said to herself. She used the magic steering system to move the empire over to where she wanted it to be. The floating islands circling the empire formed one large staircase of floating islands up to it. Then Twilight used her power to form 5 stone stabilizers to keep it from accidentally moving. The Ponyvillians slowly walked towards one of the staircases, fascinated by the floating empire in front of them. Empress Twilight stopped in her former home for a reason. She wished to see her ex-friends again, and she had a lot to discuss with them. Twilight reunites with her friendsLater that day, Twilight had decided to have her ex-friends brought to her castle. “Golden Heart.” She said to her fox-pony guard, “I want you to bring 6 Ponyvillians to me.” “What do they look like?” Asked Golden Heart. “Two of them are earth ponies, one with a pink coat and a pink mane and tail named Pinkie pie, the other with a orange coat and a a paleish yellow mane and tail named Applejack. Two of them are pegasi, one of them with a yellow coat and a light pink mane and tail named Fluttershy, the other with a light blue coat and a rainbow mane and tail named Rainbow dash. There’s also a unicorn with a white coat and a purple mane and tail named Rarity, and a dragon with purple scales and green spikes named Spike. Go find them.” “Yes, your highness.” Replied Golden Heart, running out of the throne room. Golden Heart, a male dragon named Crystal jewel, a female bat-pony named Frosted Shield, a female changeling named Glowstone, and a male mummy-pony named Soul Spirit all gathered right in front of the main entrance to the castle. “So, you know which of the six ponies Empress Twilight ordered us to get, correct?” Asked Golden Heart. “I’ve got Fluttershy.” “I’ve got Rainbow dash.” Said Frosted “Applejack.” Said Glowstone “Pinkie pie.” Said Soul Spirit “Rarity and Spike.” Said Crystal “Perfect.” Replied Golden Heart, “Now separate, and meet back here once you find the ponies.” The 6 creatures spread out to find the ponies. At Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack was bucking apples with her older brother and younger sister. The three of them together had already bucked half of the orchard of apple trees when they heard something flying towards them. They looked towards the source of the noise and saw a changeling heading towards them. “Big Mac, take Apple bloom and hide somewhere.” Said Applejack, “I’ll handle this changeling.” Big Mac and Apple bloom ran back towards the barn/house for safety as the changeling got closer. The changeling landed in front of Applejack and began telling her about what he was there for. “Miss Applejack.” He said, “My name is Glowstone. I have been tasked by Empress Twilight to bring you back to her castle. Follow me.” “Now hold on. I ain’t following some rotten changeling anywhere. I bet you’re just lying about Twilight being here just so you can capture me.” Replied Applejack. “I assure you, I am not lying. Follow me and I’ll prove it.” “Fine. I guess I should give you a chance to prove whether you’re lying or not.” “Good.” Replied Glowstone. Glowstone led Applejack back towards Twilight’s floating empire. In the skies above Ponyville, Frosted Shield was searching for Rainbow dash. During his search, she saw Soarin flying past her. “Hey!” She called out, “Have you seen Miss Rainbow dash anywhere? “Uh, yeah. She just flew back to her house over there.” Replied Soarin, pointing at a cloud house in the distance. “Thanks, sir.” Frosted Shield flew towards Rainbow dash’s house and landed outside the door. “Hello.” She said, “Are you in there, Miss Dash?” “Just a second.” Replied Rainbow dash from inside the house. Three seconds later, Rainbow opened the door. “Miss Dash, my name is Frosted Shield. I have been told to bring you to Empress Twilight.” “T-twilight?” Replied Rainbow. “Y-you’re not joking, right?” “No, I’m not joking. The Empress wishes to see you. Follow me and I’ll take you to her.” Rainbow dash nodded and took off after Frosted Shield. Meanwhile, Pinkie was helping Mr. and Mrs. Cake bake cupcakes and donuts to sell in Sugarcube corner. “Hey Pinkie. We’re all out of frosting, do you think that you could pick some up from the marketplace?” “Okey-dokey-loki. Be back with the frosting in a bit.” Replied Pinkie, hopping out of the bakery. When she hopped out of the door, she saw Soul Spirit walking towards her. She got super excited and toppled Soul onto his back. She opened her mouth to start talking, but Soul covered it with wrappings. “Miss Pinkie pie. My name is Soul Spirit, and I’ve been instructed to bring you back to the Empress.” “Okey-dokey.” Replied Pinkie, “I love meeting new ponies and throwing them parties.” “There will be time for that later. The Empress wants you there now.” Replied Soul. That was easier than I thought. I expected her to try and come up with something that would help her not have to come Fluttershy was busy feeding her animal friends at her cottage near the Everfree forest. “Alright everyone, lunch is ready.” Fluttershy said to the animals. “Now, I have to go and get more bird feed in town, but I’ll be back in a little while.” Fluttershy slowly began walking towards Ponyville, not noticing Golden Heart sneaking up behind her. “Miss Fluttershy.” Said Golden, causing Fluttershy to freak out. “Apologies, Miss Fluttershy.” Fluttershy looked at Golden Heart before gasping in joy. “Ooh, a fox-pony. I’ve never heard of such a thing as a fox-pony.” “Miss Fluttershy. My name is Golden Heart, and I’ve been ordered to bring you to the Empress. Follow me to Empress Twilight’s castle.” “TWILIGHT’S BACK!!!” Exclaimed Fluttershy, rushing ahead of Golden. “Well, she didn’t need to be convinced.” She said to herself galloping behind Fluttershy. Spike was busy helping Rarity with her dress making in the Carousel Boutique. “Now I need the blue gems, Spike.” “Here they are.” Replied Spike. Rarity took the gems from Spike and fastened them on the dress. “And done.” She said, “Now I need a break.” As Spike and Rarity were sitting on Rarity’s couch, they heard knocking at the door. “I’ll get it.” Said Spike. He opened the door and found a dragon standing there. “Mr. Spike, Miss Rarity. My name is Crystal Jewel. Empress Twilight is asking for you to come to her castle. “TWILIGHT!! TAKE ME THERE NOW!!” Exclaimed Spike. “I’m with Spike. I want to see Twilight again.” Said Rarity. “Then follow me.” Replied Crystal. Crystal began walking towards the floating empire, Rarity and Spike following him. Back at the bottom of the staircase, Crystal, Soul, Golden, Frosted, and Glowstone, and the ponies and Spike gathered. “Everycreature.” Said Golden Heart, “This is Empress Twilight’s empire. The Empress is waiting in the castle. I’ll bring you to her.” Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow, Spike folowed Golden towards the castle. They were directed towards the throne room to see Twilight. Golden Heart opened the door to the throne room of the castle, revealing Twilight sitting on her throne. “Welcome to my empire, everypony.” Said Twilight, “Golden Heart, bring our guests seats.” “Yes, your highness.” Replied Golden. 5 minutes later, Golden returned with 6 seats. “Here are the seats, your majesty.” “Thank you, Golden Heart.” Replied Twilight. She then turned to look at her ex-friends. “Everypony, please have a seat. We have a lot to discuss.” Author's Note In case you’re wondering. Twilight’s friends are gathered at the same time, but it doesn’t seem like it because I had them informed one at a time.

Now what is your second question?” “Why did you want me? Why not choose somepony else?” “Because Twilight, you are prophesied to become the Elemental Queen. The prophecy states that the pony with fur of purple and mark of the stars will become the Queen, the Elemental master. That is you, Twilight.” “And what if I refused to become the Elemental Queen?” “Then we will be stuck as the spirits of the elementals for the rest of time. But if you accept, you’ll gain more power than anything else that exists, and no amount of magic will be able to defeat you.” “One more question.” Replied Twilight. “Of course.” “Does this power corrupt the wielder?” “It does not. At least, not alone.” “What does that mean?” “The wielder of the elementals may have evil intentions, and may use our power for evil rather than good. Now I have a question for you.” “W-what is it?” “Do you have any evil intentions for our power?” “No. I don’t.” Replied Twilight, “This is my home, and I don’t want it to be destroyed.” “Good, Twilight. Now, do you accept our power?” “I’ll need a few minutes to think about this.” “Take all the time you need.” Twilight turned around and laid down, thinking about what she should do. If I do this, then I’ll be able to protect Equestria from any threats. And if I don’t, these spirits will be stuck as spirits for the rest of time. I need to do this. “I’ve made my decision. I’ll become the Elemental Queen.” “Very well. Now walk inside the temple onto the middle of the ring and we’ll do the rest.” Replied the spirits. The door to the temple began to open. When it opened all the way, Twilight began walking inside. The torches on each side lit up, revealing the inside to be a large room with a giant circular stone table with symbols representing each elemental, and 24 statues behind each symbol with the same symbol as the ones on the table. Twilight walked towards the center of the table, looking around at the inside of the table. When stopped moving, the 24 symbols began glowing. The statutes released a different colored mist from them which began to swirl around Twilight. The mists slowly surrounded Twilight more and more until she was completely surrounded by them. After 15 minutes, the mists began to enter Twilight, giving her their power. Purple wings with green and red swirling throughout each that grew into a darker purple as it grew closer to the tips. Her mane and tail grew 3 more strips. They were orange, blue, and green, and she looked like Celestia, except that her coat was now only half light purple, which faded into black with white dots on her upper body and head. Her eyes now looked like portals, and were electrified. Her horn was now crystallized with the top half a bloody red color and the bottom half was a sandy brown color. “Interesting new appearance the powers gave me.” “Of course. Now, it’ll take a while to fully master the powers we have given you. But now that I’m with you forever, I’ll help you to master them.” “How long will it take?” Asked Twilight “It should take 15 years at the most.” “15 years?” “Yes. If we could make it be less time, we would. But we can’t. I’m sorry.” “Where will I be learning to master the elemental powers?” Asked Twilight “There’s a secret place meant for that about 3,000 miles from here. But I have the power to teleport you there in a few seconds from here.” “Okay, we’ll head there tomorrow.” Replied Twilight, “Goodnight, um, what should I call you?” “Call me, Silent Spirit.” “Okay, goodnight Silent.” “Goodnight, Queen Twilight.” Replied Silent.
Twilight’s kingdom15 years later “Whew, that was a lot of training. But I think that I’ve got the hang of these powers.” “Well done, Queen Twilight.” Replied Silent. “You’re finally ready to claim your kingdom.” “Where is it?” Asked Twilight “It’s 135 dozen miles north of here. You’ll be able to get there in about 3 and 1/2 hours on hoof.” “Good. Which method of transportation should we be taking?” “I suggest using your wings. That combined with your sound power, and we’ll get there in just an hour and a half.” “Excellent. Let’s head out immediately, but first.” Twilight constructed a pony using her shadow power and injected the spirit of Silent into it. “Just so that it doesn’t seem like I’m talking to myself. What do you think, Silent?” “I like it. I appreciate you doing this. I’ve been stuck in spirit form, not being able to talk to anypony for forever. But now I’m able to. Thank you for that.” “That’s what friends are for, Silent.” “Friend?” “Yes, friend. You’ve never had a friend before, have you?” Asked Twilight “No. I haven’t. I’ve only been able to talk to you since my creation at the beginning of time.” “Well, you do now, Silent.” Replied Twilight. “So, ready to go to where my new kingdom will be?” “Of course.” Replied Silent. “Let’s go.” Twilight then changed their appearances to look like sound waves. The duo began to travel at the speed of sound across the forest and valley behind it. “So, what exactly does my kingdom look like?” Asked Twilight “Well, it’s not really built yet.” Replied Silent, “But you can create it using your powers to be whatever you wish.” “Really? Interesting.” “Just a little farther, Twilight.” “Really? I thought that it was going to take longer than that.” “That was for if we were flying without your powers. But now we are traveling at the speed of sound, so it doesn’t take as long to arrive.” Twilight and Silent traveled for 15 more minutes before landing at the sight of Twilight’s Kingdom. “This is the location.” Said Silent. “What do you wish your castle to look like, Twilight?” “Hmm.” Replied Twilight, before using her powers to create the castle. She divided the base of the castle into 24 different sections, one for each elemental. The castle began to rise out from the ground, slowly being formed to look like each elemental. The first section was a jumbled mess of colors and patterns, which represented chaos. The second section was a mixture of brown and green, which represented earth. The castle floated above the rest of the kingdom. Each section was floated separate from the main castle, but joined by more floating islands. Each section of the castle had a high tower above it with a flag that contained a image of the elemental that the section was based on. Twilight’s room in the castle was at the very top of the highest tower and had a combination of all seven elementals, and her throne room was right in the middle of the castle. It had 24 stained glass windows, 12 on one side, 11 on the other, depicting 23 of the elemental powers. The 24th was above her throne. The castle was complete, now Twilight began to form the kingdom surrounding it. She used her earth powers to form the houses and buildings in the kingdom. The kingdom spread out from the castle for 2,000 miles in every direction. When she finished creating her kingdom, she was pleased with the results. But she wasn’t done yet. The ground began to shake, as a large crack began forming a mile away from the beginning of the kingdom. When the crack had spread all the way around, the ground began to rise into the sky, until it was completely separated from the ground. The mile between the kingdom and the edge of the floating island began to break into several dozen smaller floating islands and began to form a floating staircase connecting it to the ground before returning and circling the kingdom like a planet’s rings circle the planet. Twilight began to use her earth powers to make beautiful plants and trees grow on more islands that she took from the ground, expanding her kingdom. The islands began to float away from where the main floating island came from, leaving several craters there. As Twilight’s kingdom was still traveling in the sky, she saw a large group of 7 dozen bat-ponies, 3 hundred changelings, and 145 Kirin on the ground looking up at the floating kingdom. She ordered the kingdom to halt and the ring of islands to form the bridge, allowing the creatures to climb up. “Hello.” Said Twilight, “What are all of you doing so far away from civilization?” One of the bat-ponies began to speak, “We were all cast out of our homes. Then we found each other and have been looking for a home ever since.” “Well, you don’t have to look any longer. I’m allowing all of you to join my kingdom.” “R-really?” Replied one of the changelings. “Yes. I’m not a cruel monster who leaves creatures such as yourselves to fend for themselves.” Replied Twilight “Thank you. We are all very grateful. What should we call you?” “Call me, Twilight Sparkle, Queen of this kingdom of the elementals. My advisor will show you where your new homes will be.” Twilight brought Silent into his shadowy form and told him about her new subjects. “I need you to lead them to their new homes in the south district. Can you do that?” “Anything, Twilight. Come on, everycreature. Follow me to see where your new homes are.” As Silent was leading the creatures to their new homes, Twilight was looking out at the sunset with a look of complete satisfaction of her accomplishments that day. She then flew to her bedroom at the top of the castle and took one last look out at her kingdom before the moon rose in the sky. Author's Note The kingdom of the elementals is now complete. Kingdom’s growth/journey to Equestria20 years after Twilight became Queen, her kingdom had been completely filled up with a huge variety of different creatures. There was more changelings, griffons, hippogriffs, hybrid ponies, monster ponies, dragons, and tons more. But Twilight had more creatures that needed new homes, so she had decided to expand her kingdom. She used her magic steering system, created 19 years and 11 months before, to travel back to where she first created her kingdom. When she arrived, she set the kingdom down back into the ground and had everything fused together as if it was never removed. She also fused the floating islands that were circling the main island back to it. Once that was done, she removed most of the trees on the south side of the kingdom in order to create new houses and buildings to add to her kingdom. The cleared land spread out for another 2,365 miles, buildings(some hotels) and houses decorating it with the remaining trees. Twilight also decided to make her castle bigger. She gathered more floating islands from the flat terrain and separated her castle from the rest of the kingdom, replacing the crater with a several of the largest floating islands she just gathered, while the rest(800,000,000) were fused to the island that her castle rested on. Twilight’s castle began to grow higher, now having several different sections branching out from the 24 main sections of the castle, each being extra groups of rooms and hallways, before separating from the castle and being reconnected by more floating islands to the each of the 24 main sections, also having towers with flags, while the main wings became even larger. The kingdom began to split into four parts, and the main part of the castle began to lower into the middle before the four parts began to fuse to the main section. The unused miles of terrain began to break apart into millions of floating islands. 1/4 floated from the upper left side of the floating islands to the lower right side, 1/4 did the opposite, 1/4 floated from left to right, and the last 1/4 floating from above the floating islands to the bottom. Twilight also gathered 25 hundred thousand more floating islands and added more beautiful vegetation on each. Her kingdom was now an empire, and she was now Empress Twilight. She was ready to return to Equestria. “Hey Silent.” Said Twilight, “Are you ready to visit my former home?” “I am, Empress Twilight.” “Good. We’ll be arriving there soon.” Replied Twilight. Meanwhile in Equestria, the ponies were going about their business. Mares and stallions were shopping in the Ponyville marketplace, while their fillies and colts were at school. Suddenly, pegasi began to notice a giant clump of floating islands heading towards the town. One of the pegasi that noticed was a member of the wonderbolts who was training with the rest of the wonderbolts. She had a light blue coat and a rainbow mane and tail. “Wonderbolts. There’s a strange clump of floating islands heading this way.” She said, “We should check it out.” The wonderbolts began flying towards the largest of the floating islands. As they got closer, they noticed that there was an entire empire on the biggest of the islands. “Rainbow dash.” Said a wonderbolt named Spitfire. “Go inform the Princesses about this while we investigate.” “Yes ma’am.” Replied Rainbow dash, before flying towards Canterlot as fast as she could. She zoomed to the entrance to the castle. “I need to see Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.” She said to the guards, “It’s urgent.” The guards nodded and opened the doors to the castle, allowing Rainbow to zoom towards the throne room. She burst through when she got to the doors. “Princesses, there’s a floating empire coming towards Ponyville. I was told to come here to inform you.” “Bring us to it.” Replied Princess Celestia, “We would like to see this for ourselves.” Rainbow dash led the Princesses out towards the floating empire. “Here it is.” She said. Celestia and Luna flew towards the castle in the center and flew into one the castle towards it’s throne room. “Ah, welcome to the Elemental Empire, Princesses Celestia and Luna.” Said Twilight, sitting on her throne. “Who are you and how do you know our names?” Asked Luna. “I don’t know.” Replied Twilight, sarcastically. “Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I’m your former student, Celestia.” Both Celestia’s and Luna’s eyes grew wide. “T-Twilight? Is that really you?” Questioned Celestia “It is indeed, Celestia.” Replied Twilight. “W-what happened to you?” “Well, after I was cast out of my brother’s wedding, I heard a voice guiding me to an ancient temple. The voice, which belonged to a spirit named Silent Spirit, gave me the choice to become the master of the 24 elemental powers. I accepted the offer and was given this new appearance. 15 years later, I created this place using my powers. And I’ve been giving creature castaways a new home here.” “But why didn’t you come back? We all missed you.” Replied Celestia. “I didn’t come back because I have a empire now.” Said Twilight. “Now leave my sight before I call my guards.” But neither of them moved. “I didn’t want to have to do this. GUARDS!” Two guards, a changeling and a ghost-pony, came to the throne room immediately. “What is it you wish, Empress Twilight?” They asked, no hatred in their voice. “Escort these two back to Canterlot, located on that mountain.” Replied Twilight, pointing to the mountain in the distance. “As you wish, your highness.” The two guards directed Celestia and Luna back to Canterlot, just as Twilight requested them to do. “Now, I will put my floating empire right on the outskirts of Ponyville.” Twilight said to herself. She used the magic steering system to move the empire over to where she wanted it to be. The floating islands circling the empire formed one large staircase of floating islands up to it. Then Twilight used her power to form 5 stone stabilizers to keep it from accidentally moving. The Ponyvillians slowly walked towards one of the staircases, fascinated by the floating empire in front of them. Empress Twilight stopped in her former home for a reason. She wished to see her ex-friends again, and she had a lot to discuss with them.
Twilight reunites with her friendsLater that day, Twilight had decided to have her ex-friends brought to her castle. “Golden Heart.” She said to her fox-pony guard, “I want you to bring 6 Ponyvillians to me.” “What do they look like?” Asked Golden Heart. “Two of them are earth ponies, one with a pink coat and a pink mane and tail named Pinkie pie, the other with a orange coat and a a paleish yellow mane and tail named Applejack. Two of them are pegasi, one of them with a yellow coat and a light pink mane and tail named Fluttershy, the other with a light blue coat and a rainbow mane and tail named Rainbow dash. There’s also a unicorn with a white coat and a purple mane and tail named Rarity, and a dragon with purple scales and green spikes named Spike. Go find them.” “Yes, your highness.” Replied Golden Heart, running out of the throne room. Golden Heart, a male dragon named Crystal jewel, a female bat-pony named Frosted Shield, a female changeling named Glowstone, and a male mummy-pony named Soul Spirit all gathered right in front of the main entrance to the castle. “So, you know which of the six ponies Empress Twilight ordered us to get, correct?” Asked Golden Heart. “I’ve got Fluttershy.” “I’ve got Rainbow dash.” Said Frosted “Applejack.” Said Glowstone “Pinkie pie.” Said Soul Spirit “Rarity and Spike.” Said Crystal “Perfect.” Replied Golden Heart, “Now separate, and meet back here once you find the ponies.” The 6 creatures spread out to find the ponies. At Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack was bucking apples with her older brother and younger sister. The three of them together had already bucked half of the orchard of apple trees when they heard something flying towards them. They looked towards the source of the noise and saw a changeling heading towards them. “Big Mac, take Apple bloom and hide somewhere.” Said Applejack, “I’ll handle this changeling.” Big Mac and Apple bloom ran back towards the barn/house for safety as the changeling got closer. The changeling landed in front of Applejack and began telling her about what he was there for. “Miss Applejack.” He said, “My name is Glowstone. I have been tasked by Empress Twilight to bring you back to her castle. Follow me.” “Now hold on. I ain’t following some rotten changeling anywhere. I bet you’re just lying about Twilight being here just so you can capture me.” Replied Applejack. “I assure you, I am not lying. Follow me and I’ll prove it.” “Fine. I guess I should give you a chance to prove whether you’re lying or not.” “Good.” Replied Glowstone. Glowstone led Applejack back towards Twilight’s floating empire. In the skies above Ponyville, Frosted Shield was searching for Rainbow dash. During his search, she saw Soarin flying past her. “Hey!” She called out, “Have you seen Miss Rainbow dash anywhere? “Uh, yeah. She just flew back to her house over there.” Replied Soarin, pointing at a cloud house in the distance. “Thanks, sir.” Frosted Shield flew towards Rainbow dash’s house and landed outside the door. “Hello.” She said, “Are you in there, Miss Dash?” “Just a second.” Replied Rainbow dash from inside the house. Three seconds later, Rainbow opened the door. “Miss Dash, my name is Frosted Shield. I have been told to bring you to Empress Twilight.” “T-twilight?” Replied Rainbow. “Y-you’re not joking, right?” “No, I’m not joking. The Empress wishes to see you. Follow me and I’ll take you to her.” Rainbow dash nodded and took off after Frosted Shield. Meanwhile, Pinkie was helping Mr. and Mrs. Cake bake cupcakes and donuts to sell in Sugarcube corner. “Hey Pinkie. We’re all out of frosting, do you think that you could pick some up from the marketplace?” “Okey-dokey-loki. Be back with the frosting in a bit.” Replied Pinkie, hopping out of the bakery. When she hopped out of the door, she saw Soul Spirit walking towards her. She got super excited and toppled Soul onto his back. She opened her mouth to start talking, but Soul covered it with wrappings. “Miss Pinkie pie. My name is Soul Spirit, and I’ve been instructed to bring you back to the Empress.” “Okey-dokey.” Replied Pinkie, “I love meeting new ponies and throwing them parties.” “There will be time for that later. The Empress wants you there now.” Replied Soul. That was easier than I thought. I expected her to try and come up with something that would help her not have to come Fluttershy was busy feeding her animal friends at her cottage near the Everfree forest. “Alright everyone, lunch is ready.” Fluttershy said to the animals. “Now, I have to go and get more bird feed in town, but I’ll be back in a little while.” Fluttershy slowly began walking towards Ponyville, not noticing Golden Heart sneaking up behind her. “Miss Fluttershy.” Said Golden, causing Fluttershy to freak out. “Apologies, Miss Fluttershy.” Fluttershy looked at Golden Heart before gasping in joy. “Ooh, a fox-pony. I’ve never heard of such a thing as a fox-pony.” “Miss Fluttershy. My name is Golden Heart, and I’ve been ordered to bring you to the Empress. Follow me to Empress Twilight’s castle.” “TWILIGHT’S BACK!!!” Exclaimed Fluttershy, rushing ahead of Golden. “Well, she didn’t need to be convinced.” She said to herself galloping behind Fluttershy. Spike was busy helping Rarity with her dress making in the Carousel Boutique. “Now I need the blue gems, Spike.” “Here they are.” Replied Spike. Rarity took the gems from Spike and fastened them on the dress. “And done.” She said, “Now I need a break.” As Spike and Rarity were sitting on Rarity’s couch, they heard knocking at the door. “I’ll get it.” Said Spike. He opened the door and found a dragon standing there. “Mr. Spike, Miss Rarity. My name is Crystal Jewel. Empress Twilight is asking for you to come to her castle. “TWILIGHT!! TAKE ME THERE NOW!!” Exclaimed Spike. “I’m with Spike. I want to see Twilight again.” Said Rarity. “Then follow me.” Replied Crystal. Crystal began walking towards the floating empire, Rarity and Spike following him. Back at the bottom of the staircase, Crystal, Soul, Golden, Frosted, and Glowstone, and the ponies and Spike gathered. “Everycreature.” Said Golden Heart, “This is Empress Twilight’s empire. The Empress is waiting in the castle. I’ll bring you to her.” Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow, Spike folowed Golden towards the castle. They were directed towards the throne room to see Twilight. Golden Heart opened the door to the throne room of the castle, revealing Twilight sitting on her throne. “Welcome to my empire, everypony.” Said Twilight, “Golden Heart, bring our guests seats.” “Yes, your highness.” Replied Golden. 5 minutes later, Golden returned with 6 seats. “Here are the seats, your majesty.” “Thank you, Golden Heart.” Replied Twilight. She then turned to look at her ex-friends. “Everypony, please have a seat. We have a lot to discuss.” Author's Note In case you’re wondering. Twilight’s friends are gathered at the same time, but it doesn’t seem like it because I had them informed one at a time.
