Author's Note

It's a little shorter than I'd like but I hope you enjoy it none the less,

Truth and Sirens

It was early morning at Canterlot High School, the only people around were the teachers and janitors inside of the school preparing for the day ahead. Most students were still at home or making their commute all except for five teens who sat by the wonder colt statue. As the morning sun cast it's rays upon the statue, the mirror in front of the statue began to twist and distort, until a swirling magenta cloud could be seen within, the girls didn't have to wait much longer for just as the clouds began to cover the sun the portal opened and out came a magenta teen with black glasses, plaid skirt and white tee shirt.

She was deposited onto the soft grass of the school lawn as once the clouds covered the sun the portal closed and the mirror once more was normal. Shaking herself from the sudden burst of the portal's magic the girl was helped to her feet by Pinkie and Fluttershy as the other three girls waited until she was standing. As her bearings returned and she got her balance situated, the girl cast her eyes upon the ones who helped her with kindness, but as her eyes cast upon the other three they became cold and calculating.

"Were mighty glad you're here Twilight" Applejack said as her arms crossed. "We need your help."

"As you said in your message" Twilight started. "Now what exactly is this problem you're having with Sunset that you needed me to help with that you girls couldn't figure out on your own?" She asked them with a cold glare.

"Sunset is sharing everyone's secrets online, and we need you to take her back to Equestria, now!" Rainbow Dash said angrily.

"Oh? And have you talked with Sunset about this? Any of you?" She asked everyone of the girls.

"No…" Pinkie answered as her hair deflated slightly.

"I've been a little too scared," Fluttershy said, hiding behind her hair.

"Well...no" Rarity said shyly.

"Applejack, Rainbow Dash? What about you two" Twilight asked.

"What about us we know for fact it was that little" Rainbow started before she was cut off.

"Oh, and how do you know for fact it was her? Or did you just accuse her and use her as a scapegoat so you wouldn't have to face the truth" Twilight said angrily.

"What are ya gettin at Twi?" Applejack asked calmly.

"We had the same issue in Equestria only except it was with my new student Starlight" Twilight started.

"And what does this have to do with our problem?" Applejack asked, quirking an eyebrow.

"Because! The foal free press in my world had someone writing everypony's secret and everypony believed it was Starlight until we dug deeper and found out who the true culprits were" Twilight said half angrily.

"Culprits? Meaning more than one?" Applejack asked. Then her eyes widened as all the puzzle pieces clicked into place "you don't mean?"

"Yes," Twilight said with a stern and convicted voice.

"What does she mean Applejack?" Rarity asked, wanting to understand what Applejack figured out.

"It was our sisters on her side of the portal that were spreading everyone's secrets, but that means…" Applejack started.

"Absolutely nothing on this side" Rainbow said angrily unaware of the three children behind her. "Now you're going to take Sunset to your world or else" she started before being interrupted.

"How'd you figure it out?" A small voice said from behind Rainbow Dash.

"Yeah how'd you figure out it was us?" Another voice asked causing the three older girls to look behind them causing all of their eyes to widen and Twilight's to narrow. Because standing behind them were their sisters, as Applejack and Rarity's jaws dropped with horror Rainbow just got angrier.

Spinning around Rainbow was ready to tear into a smirking Twilight for using some form of manipulation spell. She caught movement from Pinkie Pie, and as she cast her eyes upon her she was the only one to witness the mother of all doozies. Pinkie's hair went straight then poofy, her eyes rolled around in her skull as her jaw chatted. Her left arm shot out and back in and she bounced five times in a row, finishing off the doozy she did a full 360 degree rotation and quadruple backflip landing on her feet.

"Wooh that was one hell of a doozy" Pinkie said with a tone between chipper and dark.

"Pinkie" Rainbow said slowly as all of the girls cast their eyes upon their friend. "What did that mean?" She asked with a twinge of something she quite didn't understand in her voice.

"I don't know, it was a mix between someone new is coming here and a horrible sensation followed it. Like something dark is descending upon us" Pinkie said and as she finished talking the girls heard music.

As the sun cast it's rays upon the junkyard, the light reflected off from gleaming red and white paint. Sitting outside the bay door of the garage where she had been repaired Christine waited patiently for the girl with fiery red hair who had shown her love that she hadn't seen for years, and as the clock in the garage struck 6:30 she saw her. Walking through the gate of the junkyard with a smile on her face Sunset cast her eyes upon Christine, as her smile grew wider she made her way to Christine, reaching the only one to bring her happiness in the dark time she was in she sighed as she slid into the driver's seat.

"Well Christine, it's time to face school once more, but with you there I'll be strong and face all my accusers" she said with a smile as she turned the key. Christine's 318 cu in V8 engine rumbled to life, putting pressure on the clutch Sunset shifted Christine into first, slowly letting off the clutch and putting pressure on the gas pedal Sunset and Christine started rolling away from the garage and towards the gate. Stopping at the exit of the yard, Sunset looked both ways before cruising out onto the open road, as the tachometer hit three thousand rpms, Sunset pressed the clutch and shifted to second gear, letting off the clutch and putting more pressure on the gas Christine sped up more. Shifting into third Sunset and Christine entered Canterlot, as everyone was going about their early morning routines, they stopped and watched as Christine rolled by.

As the radio sprang to life, Sunset let her left arm rest outside the opened window, with her left hand resting on twelve on the steering wheel. Christine and her cruised closer to CHS stopping at the first red light they had come to Sunset smiled, and caressed the steering wheel waiting for the light to change. As the light changed to green, she shifted Christine back into first and rolled towards their final destination, as the highschool came into view Sunset slowed down as the song on the radio continued, announcing to everyone at the school, Christine's love for Sunset.

As Sunset turned into the school parking lot she saw her five ex friends who had accused her, their sisters and someone she didn't expect to see, Twilight Sparkle. As she and Christine rolled through the parking lot, turning into a parking spot, Sunset shut off Christine and took the key out of the ignition. Getting out she headed towards the group of girls who seemed to be in a heated argument, walking closer she began to hear what was being said.

"Stop lying Scootaloo we know for fact it was Sunset" Rainbow yelled at her adopted sister.

"But we're telling the truth we are Anon-A-Miss we did it because you weren't spending time with us" Scootaloo said as her and the other crusaders looked towards the ground.

"They're telling the truth Rainbow" Applejack said, looking saddened and frustrated. "We have to accept that fact and apologize."

"I'm not apologising to that demon" Rainbow shouted as she walked away.

"What's going on? Why are you here Twilight?" Sunset asked as she finally reached the group of girls. Twilight turned around with a smile as the other seven girls turned to look at her with sadness and regret in their eyes.

"Sunset, I came here to check up on you. The girls also have something to tell you, let's walk and talk" Twilight said looking at the girls that stayed with a stern expression. The seven girls nodded simultaneously and started heading for the school unaware that Rainbow had stayed behind and was eyeing the car Sunset had arrived in.

Walking up to the car Rainbow gave it a dirty look, "Sunset will learn not to mess with us ever again" she said with a demented grin on her face as she turned on her heels and headed towards the school. But as she walked away she didn't see the headlights of the car turn on dimly and shut off, or hear the radio buzz slightly.

"So you're saying that Sunset brainwashed your sister and your friend's sisters and set them up to take the fall?" A blue girl with white hair asked.

"Damn that's messed up" a boy in a tracksuit said.

"I know right, and that's not all, she shows up in this old car like it's going to make her more popular" Rainbow said angrily as her eyes flashed red.

"You thinking what I'm thinking Soarin," a brown haired girl asked.

"What are you thinking, Gilda?" Rainbow asked, as all the teens at the table looked to her.

"We destroy the car" she said with a devious smile as Trixie, Rainbow, Soarin, Garble, and Flash all laughed sadistically. Meanwhile behind the table of five sat three teens with glowing red ruby necklaces who were smiling ear to ear.

~~~~~~~~~~~Parking~Lot~~~~~~~~~~~~

Two teachers were walking hand in hand back to the school from their quick lunch break, smiling and laughing with each other. As the pair got closer to the school they passed a particular car they didn't pay any attention to, at least until the radio crackled to life.

The pair spun around looking for the sound of the music and as they cast their eyes upon the red and white fury, their eyes almost popped out of their heads.

"Chrissy" the black haired teacher said.

"It can't be Sombra, we destroyed it!" Chrissy said with a nervous tick in her voice. As the song got louder the lights turned on and the engine rumbled to life causing the two teachers to turn around and run away all while the car played it's happy song.
