An invasion is underway on the capital city of Equestria, the leader being Queen Chrysalis whose army of changelings are cracking down on the weakened protection spell surrounding Canterlot. Twilight has uprooted the queen's plans, but the damage was already done, and time was running thin. With her heavily starved and frail niece barely standing, her captain of the guard under a strong hypnosis spell, and her sister asleep in her tower, Celestia is left with no other choice than face off against the invader.

Celestia's skills may be rusty, and her battle armor and weapons dusty. But when somecreature barges into her lands and threatens to hurt her subjects, the princess of the sun isn't gonna let this queen trot away without a fight.

This is an alternate take on the very small and anticlimactic battle between Celestia and Chrysalis during Cadences wedding. What if Celestia and Chrysalis had more tricks up their coats? What if Celestia hadn't gone down in one hit? This story will hopefully provide an alternate universe where a battle worthy to go down in Equestrian History shall take light.
