Set a few years after "The Ending of the End" but before "The Last Problem".

Ever since being promoted to the head of the Wonderbolts, Spitfire hasn't paid much thought to the future. Or, more precisely, her future and who she'd spend it with.
Soarin's mishap at the qualifiers for the Equestria Games a few years prior is catching up to him. Spitfire has to face up to the fact that she won't have one of her oldest friends at her wing any more. But, not all change has to be bad.

Warning: the second chapter is highly explicit. If you want the story and not the clop, you can skip to chapter three and you won't have missed much in context.

Originally written for Dirty Little Secret's contest back in May, but the wordcount ballooned a bit and I didn't want to cut it back. Lost motivation to keep writing it after throwing out a replacement in just a couple of days but finally came back to finish it off.
