Derpy and the doctor, by naitsabes


chapter 1 the meeting

it´s the middle of the night in ponyville. Derpy is trying to sleep. Derpy lives right outside of ponyville, but she still sees ponyville as her home town. there are no other ponies living where Derpy lives, but Derpy likes that because it is so quiet. anyway, Derpy is trying to sleep, but she just can´t manage to fall asleep. so she goes downstairs, to the kitchen, and goes to the top drawer. that´s where all the muffins are stored. and then she proceeds to the fridge and gets out a bottle of orange juice, that´s her favourite drink of all. and muffins is her favourite food, even though it technically more of a dessert. she then continues to poor the orange juice into a glass, eats the muffin, and chug down the juice. Then she yawned. Muffins and orange juice always helps Derpy sleep. She feel more tired already, so she goes back do bed. Finally she falls asleep.
Derpy gets woken up by a strange sound coming from outside. she can´t tell how long she's slept but she knows it´s not too long. "That´s strange" Derpy says to herself "there are never any sound around here, and especially not any sounds like that, at night!" and Derpy should know, because she´s been living her for a long time, almost as long as she can remember. Now Derpy isn´t a particularly curious pony, but she really wanted to see what was making that sound. so she goes out to see what was making that sound, even though the sound had stopped now, something must have made it.
When she gets out she see a blue box, and it seems to be smoking. "that´s odd" Derpy says to herself "there has never been a blue box here before, has it?" Derpy is starting to doubt herself. Suddenly the box opens and a pony comes out. Derpy quickly run over to the pony. "oh my! Mister are you okay?" the pony looks at her. "ehrm, you´re a pony?" the strange pony asks "well, duh" Derpy replies "and you´re talking!?" the pony say. "I think you´ve hurt your head mister, you better come along inside and relax" derpy says.
"inside? like in a stable?"
"no, silly. just come with me"
Derpy shows the strange pony to her house.
"this is a house! haha, a real house! buildt by ponies! this is amazing."
"yeah… so mister, can i get you anything"
"well, i don't know. What do you have?"
"Let´s see, i have some muffins, and orange juice, that´s my favourite. and then there´s some apples."
"ah, i see. you don´t have fish and custard?"
"eh, i don´t eat fish. in fact nopony eats any kind of meat"
"oh, of course how silly of me, well then i´ll just have muffins, and orange juice i guess."
"right away mister"
Derpy brings the muffin and some orange juice
"i never got your name miss…?"
"Derpy, Derpy hooves. and you are?"
"oh i´m the doctor"
"doctor?.. so then you heal ponies then?"
"no," he reaches for the muffin " i´m not that kind of doct… WOAH!!!" he drops the muffin"WHAT IN THE NAME OF BANANAS HAS HAPPENED TO MY HANDS?!"
"hands? only monkeys have hands silly. And you´re a pony…"
"a pony?… pony… Derpy do you have a mirror here?"
"yes, of course. just go to the bathroom, first door to the left."
The doctor goes to the bathroom and as he gets to the bathroom and looks in the mirror he screams. Derpy rushes to the bathroom to check if everything is okay. when she gets to the bathroom the doctor is there, and he seems fine. Now he´s actually smiling. mumbling something to himself about "tardis" and "dimentional flaws"
"Splendit! Marvelous! Wonderfull! Derpy, where´s the nearest town?"
"it´s right down the hill"
"great, let´s go!"
"eh, doctor? it´s the middle of the night"
"oh, yes. right…"
"we can go there tomorrow, but right now we need some sleep. come i´ll show you the guest bedroom. it´s right next to mine so if you need anything just let me know."
