Sapphire and her squad are finally able to unify

Chapter 7: Beginning to Unify

After the team-building exercise, Sapphire trudged to the mess hall; she was accompanied by Condor and Gale Winds.
Condor the griffon spoke up, "Hey, umm" he paused a few seconds to collect his thoughts "Sapphire look, I know our outbursts earlier caused us some time on the event. I'm having a hard time saying because it's not a griffon's habit to admit wrong, but I shouldn't have lost my cool."
Gale Winds chimed in sheepishly, "I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have said what I said."
Sapphire accepted their apologies and apologized for losing it as well. As the three of them are the other two from their squad joined em. Maelstrom spoke up, "Look you guys sorry that I botched up the plan." The hippogriff stared at his food; Sapphire nodded in acceptance.

Peregrine landed with his food and sat down. Out of the six, Peregrine was the only one who didn't apologize for trying to showboat. The rest of the afternoon was spent doing drills. That night Peregrine stood outside of the barracks alone thinking when a shuffle behind him caused him to spin around it was Sapphire she hadn't been able to sleep.
