Fluttershy Beats Up Tempest Shadow
Tempest Shadow Gets Beaten Up by Fluttershy
Today is the day that Fluttershy and Tempest Shadow fight. It has been the talk of Ponyville for weeks, and the anticipation has driven the residents mad! There were articles, broadcasts, cafe talks, and predictions about how the fight will go. And now, the time has come to see who will win the fight. Said fight is taking place in the Ponyville Stadium, which is now filled with rich and poor, young and old, ponies and non ponies alike, and almost everyone who entered placed a bet after spending a small fortune on tickets and food.
“Did you actually train Fluttershy?” asks Applejack.
“I did. It was actually super easy. Barely an inconvenience.”
“Oh really?”
“Yeah. All I did was have her run up some long stairs, punch bales of hay and drag a cart of potatoes down the street while playing Survivor albums.”
Applejack arches a brow while Rainbow Dash smiles proudly at Fluttershy.
“She will beat Tempest to a pulp, and I will get the glory,” says Rainbow Dash.
“Sometimes I think ya ain't well in the head,” says Applejack.
“So, we have quite a few tickets today!” says the announcer. “And, surprisingly, somepony was crazy enough to bet on Fluttershy! I mean, we all love Fluttershy, the nicest mare in the country, but she isn't a good fighter and will definitely lose horribly to Tempest Shadow, the killing machine that subdued three alicorns in seconds! Oh well, your loss, whoever you are!”
“Please tell me that one of us was the one that bet on Fluttershy,” says Rainbow Dash.
“Wait, you didn't bet on her?” asks Twilight.
“I can't! I'm her coach!” Rainbow Dash looks at Applejack. “Was that you?”
“Idon'tgamble,” says Applejack swiftly, looking away with a scrunched muzzle.
Rainbow Dash points at Twilight.
“According to Article 1, clause 82 of the Rules of Royalty I'm not allowed to gamble,” says Twilight.
Rainbow Dash looks at Rarity with puppy eyes.
“I don't partake in such low-class activities,” says Rarity.
Rainbow Dash grabs Pinkie Pie and presses her nose against hers.
“It was you, wasn't it? You're crazy enough to bet on Fluttershy, right?” asks Rainbow Dash.
“I would have bet on her, but I kinda spent all my money on popcorn,” says Pinkie Pie.
The group stares at her with a variety of emotions, from shock, to disgust, to jealously, to curiosity, and Pinkie Pie shrugs while Rainbow Dash backs up.
“It was chocolate caramel popcorn. How could I say no to that?” says Pinkie Pie.
Before any more words can be spoken, the bell dings, and the old referee grips the hanging microphone and yells into it, “Let's get ready to ruuuuUUUUuuuummmmmble!”
The referee then gallops off to the side while the microphone is pulled up, and Fluttershy's legs lock while Tempest charges her with a fire in her eyes and hot air flowing from her nose like fumes from a volcano.
“W-Wait, can't we talk about this?” asks Fluttershy.
Tempest punches Fluttershy right in the jaw, sending her crashing to the mat with a bloody mouth. Fluttershy pulls herself up, just to get a kidney punch. And then Tempests punches her again, and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again. With every punch Fluttershy takes, blood flies, and her best friends cringe and flinch.
“Oh, for the love of all that is holy! Block! Or dodge! Or something!” yells Rainbow Dash. “I trained you better than this!”
“That's not what her performance is saying,” says Pinkie Pie, her mouth full of popcorn.
Applejack and Rarity glare at her, but Rainbow Dash has resorted to chewing on her hoofs and Twilight covers her eyes with her wings as the beatings continue. After a few more hits from Tempest, the vicious unicorn delivers a hard punch to Fluttershy that sends her spinning into the ropes. Fluttershy weakly latches on to them, barely keeping herself up, eye swollen, face bleeding, legs wobbly and thick drops of sweat and blood dripping off her and her tongue hangs out as she pants.
“She... Hits... Hard,” says Fluttershy.
Tempest's hoof suddenly hits Fluttershy's jaw and she after landing face first on the mat she skids a few feet, coming to a stop just by one of the poles. The referee runs over and is about to tap the mat, but Fluttershy pulls herself up, and Tempest is about to stomp towards her when Twilight shouts out her.
“Hey, Tempest, stop being a bitch and let Fluttershy hit you!” yells Twilight.
“But I want to win,” says Tempest.
“If you don't let her hit you at least once then... then I'll start charging you rent!”
Tempest Shadow rolls her eyes. “Fine. But I'm only giving her one freebee.”
Tempest trots towards Fluttershy, cracking her neck along the way, and the other girls look at Twilight.
“You don't charge Tempest rent?” asks Applejack.
“I'm just trying to help her get back on her hoofs,” says Twilight.
Fluttershy bounces past them with Tempest running after her.
“Don't you think you might be giving her a bad message?” asks Rarity.
“Look, I'm just trying to help her, okay?” says Twilight. “She still hasn’t full adjusted to Equestrian society and hasn’t been able to find a job. Aside from ripping off mob bosses.”
Fluttershy stumbles around, just to get tackled by Tempest, and the two roll down the mat with Tempest dealing more punches and yellow feathers falling off of Fluttershy.
“I wish I could live without a mortgage payment. I only saved Equestria a bazillion times. I deserve a free cloud!” says Rainbow Dash.
Pinkie Pie pulls out a bag of chocolate caramel popcorn from her hair. “Applejack, you're an AB blood type, right?”
“How do you know that?” asks Applejack sharply.
“Fluttershy might need some of your blood after this.”
Pinkie Pie eats a hoof-full of popcorn and Fluttershy staggers near them with her hair and feathers a mess, and blood, sweat and tears dripping off her and her eyes rolling in opposite directions. This brings the group to gasp in horror, and for Rainbow Dash to slide to the back, chewing off chunks of her hoof now.
“There's birds around my head,” says Fluttershy.
Tempest strolls up to Fluttershy and stomps the mat, making the timid (and battered) pony yelp and retreat a few steps.
“I've had enough of this! Hit me so Twilight doesn't charge me rent!” says Tempest.
Fluttershy blinks, and looks at the referee, who in turn shrugs, and she looks back at Tempest, lightly pawing the mat, leaving bloody strokes as she does so.
“Um... I'm sorry, but I don't want to,” says Fluttershy.
“Do it, Fluttershy!” shouts Rainbow Dash. “Punch her in the face! Do it for me!”
“But I-I didn't want to fight to begin with. This was all your idea.”
The group looks at Rainbow Dash, and she stiffly looks between them.
“Uh… Oh, no! Tempest is winning! Hit her hard, Fluttershy!” says Rainbow Dash.
“Yeah, hit me hard. You're getting one free hit, so use it,” says Tempest.
Fluttershy gulps. “But what if I hurt you?”
“Who cares? Just do it. I want you to do it,” says Tempest.
Fluttershy hesitates.
“I want you to do it. Hit me.”
Fluttershy carefully approaches Tempest.
“Hit me!”
Fluttershy grits her teeth.
“HIT ME!”
Fluttershy yells and she puts all her strength into her hoof... and taps Tempest in the shoulder.
Upon impact, Tempest cries out in agony and then collapses on the mat, completely still, and the referee stares at the fallen killing machine while Fluttershy steps back, holding her hoof to her mouth and her watery eyes bulging with horror.
“Oh no. Did I hurt her?” asks Fluttershy.
“Uh... One?” begins the referee.
Tempest is still laying there.
“... T... W... O...?”
Murmurs of confusion fill the stadium.
Also, Tempest has yet to move.
“Thr... Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...?”
Still nothing.
The referee sighs, stomps the mat three times and a bell dings. The crowd halfheartedly stomps the ground in applause and the referee holds up Fluttershy's hoof, and she in turn stares out in space, her face pale underneath the blood and bruises.
“Winner! Fluttershy!” says the referee. “Good job, miss. Why don't you go to the locker room and get cleaned up and get some rest? Celestia knows you need it.”
Fluttershy nods and her legs are wobbly as she goes to the ropes, which are being held apart by Rainbow Dash and Applejack, and when she slips through Rarity places a towel over her shoulders while towel while Twilight gives her water.
“Good job, Fluttershy, I knew you could do it,” says Rainbow Dash.
“Yep,” agrees Applejack.
“I'm just glad the ordeal is over,” says Fluttershy. She spits a tooth into a bucket Twilight is holding. “But I would have never been able to do it without any of your support. You are the best friends anypony could ask for.”
The others nod and voice their agreements while casting nervous glances at each other, and Fluttershy taps her chin.
“But there is something that is bugging me,” says Fluttershy.
“What's that?” asks Twilight.
“Well, before the match started the bets were put in, but only one pony bet on me.” Fluttershy smiles at Rainbow Dash. “It was you, wasn't it?”
Rainbow Dash chuckles and rubs her neck, unable to look at Fluttershy.
“Heheh, yeah, funny story,” says Rainbow Dash.
“Yeah, who bet on Fluttershy!?” says Filthy Rich, who is standing next to the group, looking less than pleased.
“Whoever bet on her just made a fortune!” says another pony.
“Yeah, who was it?”
The crowd clamors, demanding to know who won the bet, and that is when Tempest Shadow suddenly jumps up and points at the crowd with a victorious grin.
“You fools! I was the one that bet on Fluttershy! Now I have all your money!” says Tempest.
The crowd goes dead silent, and Tempest hops out of the arena, goes to the clerk, grabs an envelope labeled “WINNINGS” with her mouth and trots away with a satisfied grin. The crowd is still silent and wide eyed as they watch her leave, and when Tempest disappears through the doorway Rainbow Dash scowls.
“Tempest is a jerk.”
