In the ancient days of Equestria, an alicorn colt named Solaris sets out to save the world from the greatest evil Equestria has ever known.
A prequel to "Dark Conflict", the Solaris Chronicle is the story of Celestia's father and his small band of friends as they journey to distant lands and uncover ancient secrets in a quest to overthrow the Dark Emperor of Equestria, Malicious Shadow, approximately 4000 years in the past.
A/N: It is strongly suggested that "Dark Conflict" be read before reading this, however if you do not wish to read the entire story, reading the final three chapters will provide you with the necessary background information.
