She had decided to have Starlight watch over Nyx while she was gone. "You sure that you can handle it?" Asked Twilight. "I'm more than positive Twilight. Nyx is in good hooves." Replied Starlight. "Don't worry so much, mom. Auntie Starlight will make sure I'm okay." Said Nyx, holding her favorite plushie of her mother. "Okay. I'll be back in a few hours. Bye Nyx." Replied Twilight, nuzzling Nyx before leaving. "Bye mom." Nyx and Starlight watched Twilight fly away until they couldn't see her anymore. "So, Nyx, what do you want to do first?" "Could you read my favorite book to me? Mom usually does." "Sure, Nyx. Then do you want to see Trixie's magic?" "Sure." Replied Nyx. "Starlight, I'm ready to practice magic now." Said Trixie "Okay, mind if Nyx joins us?" "No, she can join us." "Great. Come on Nyx." "Coming." Nyx followed Starlight and Trixie to the throne room. The first thing that they decided to try was dimensional teleportation. Starlight placed a apple on a chair in the middle of the room when Nyx was focused on something else. "Okay Trixie. Ready?" "Ready." Trixie was preparing the teleportation when Nyx noticed the apple. "Mmm, that apple looks tasty." Said Nyx, walking over to the apple "Wait, Nyx." Yelled Starlight. But it was too late, Trixie's magic ended up hitting Nyx instead of the apple, causing her to disappear. "NYX!" Screamed Starlight. "Oh, this is bad, this is bad, this is bad." Trixie just stood there not moving. "Trixie, aren't you going to help me?" "How am I supposed to help. Neither of us have any idea where Nyx was sent to." "If Twilight finds out, I'm dead." Then they heard the door to the room open and froze. "Nyx, I'm home." Said Twilight. "Starlight, have you seen Nyx anywhere." Starlight began to sweat, "Um, well, you see." "Starlight and I were practicing magic and accidentally teleported Nyx to another dimension." "TRIXIE!" "Starlight, is this true." Said Twilight, growing angry. "Um, y-yes." "STARLIGHT GLIMMER!!" Yelled Twilight. "You teleported my daughter off to Celestia knows where without any way to bring her back." "I'm sorry, it was an accident." "Don't yell at her." Said Trixie, with a saddened look. "It was my fault. I was the one who used the dimensional teleportation magic. I'll accept any punishment, just don't blame her. I'm sorry Starlight." Twilight sighed before saying to Trixie, "Trixie, I want you to cancel all of your upcoming magic shows until we bring Nyx back to Equestria, and there will be no more practicing magic with my daughter around, whether I'm here or not." "Yes, Princess." Replied Trixie, with ears lowered, walking with Twilight out of the room. Meanwhile, in a different dimension, Nyx appeared above the fountain in a garden. She fell into the fountain, splashing water onto the people there. One of them wearing a pink dress and having a crown on her head. Once Nyx wiped her head and opened her eyes, she noticed this. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to splash you, please don't hurt me." She said, beginning to cry. But she felt a soft hand begin to stroke her back. "It's okay, little one. I'm not going hurt you." Nyx looked up and saw the girl with the pink dress sitting on the side of the fountain. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to splash you." "No one is blaming you, little one." She said, continuing to stroke Nyx's back. "T-thank you." Replied Nyx. "What is your name, little one?" "N-nyx. M-my name is Nyx." "Well, Nyx. Would you like to stay with me in my castle?" "Wait, you own a castle and are wearing a crown. Are you a Princess?" "Yes, I am a Princess. My name is Princess Peach, and I am the ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. So, would you like to stay in my castle?" "S-sure, Princess Peach." "Follow me, I'll give you one of the spare rooms." "Thank you, Princess Peach." "Please, just call me Peach." "Okay Peach." Peach and Nyx walked through Peach's castle, talking on the way. "So, what are your favorite activities?" Asked Peach "I like to look at the stars at night, I like to paint, and I like to play the violin." "Those are some nice activities." "What about you?" "I like making cakes, racing, and hosting parties at my castle." "Those are really nice as well. I'll have to try racing sometime." "Well, here's where you'll be staying." Said Princess Peach, "At least, until you get your own house in Toad Town." "What's Toad Town?" Asked Nyx. "Toad Town is the town just outside of my castle where the Toads live." "Toads? Aren't those like frogs?" "No, a Toad is a human with a mushroom on his head that he wears like a hat." "Interesting. Where I come from, toads are similar to frogs." "Where do you come from, Nyx?" "I come from---" Nyx then began thinking about her mom and how she missed her, then she began crying again. Peach noticed and began feeling sympathy for the young filly. "What's the matter, little one." "I-I-I miss my mom." She said, bawling. Peach walked over and sat down next to her. "Come here, Nyx." Nyx nodded and walked over onto Peach's lap. She began to stroke her hand along Nyx's back again. Between the gentle strokes on her back and the crying, Nyx quickly fell asleep. Peach picked her up and laid her on the bed. She pulled the covers over Nyx before wishing her a good night. Once Peach did that, she closed the curtains and quietly walked out of the room. "Toads." Said Peach, "I want you to make sure that our guest isn't disturbed." "Yes, Princess." Replied the toads, walking towards Nyx's room. Back in Equestria, Twilight, Starlight, and Trixie were still trying to bring Nyx back. However, they were unsuccessful. "I still can't believe that you did this, Trixie." Said Twilight. "I know, and I feel terrible about it." "Twilight, I know that you want your daughter back, but its really late and we're all getting tired. How about we go to bed and continue this tomorrow." Twilight opened her mouth to object, but then closed it when she realized that Starlight had a point. "Fine. See you two in the morning." "Goodnight." Replied Starlight and Trixie, going off to their own rooms in the castle. //-------------------------------------------------------// Nyx’s new home //-------------------------------------------------------// Nyx’s new home The next morning, Nyx woke up in the room she fell asleep in the previous night. Hmm, must have fallen asleep, she thought. I sure had the craziest dream last night. Nyx then noticed that she wasn't in her room in Twilight's castle. Wait, this is the room I dreamed of last night. But that means, Nyx began to start crying again. "M-mom, no." Then Nyx heard the door open slowly. She turned to look and saw Peach standing there. Peach immediately noticed that Nyx had been crying. "What's wrong Nyx." She asked "I-I miss my mom." Peach felt incredibly sorry for Nyx as she sat on the bed next to her. "Oh, Nyx. I'm sorry. She really meant a lot to you, didn't she." "Yeah, she sort of helped create me." "Created? Don't you mean she gave birth to you?" "No, I was created. It's a long story." "Yes, and I hope that I can return someday." "I hope so too. It seems like such a nice place." "It is, most of the time anyway." "Interesting." Said Peach. "Oh, I almost forgot. I have a surprise for you." "What is it?" "Follow me." "Okay." Nyx followed Peach through the castle and towards Toad Town. "Nyx, remember how I said that I'd be giving you a new home?" "Yeah, why?" "Because." she started, before revealing the surprise, "Welcome to your new home." Nyx's eyes grew wide with surprise. The house, which had two floors, was decorated to look like the night sky, mailbox, which had Nyx's name on it, included. "M-my new home?" said Nyx, before turning and hugging Peach. "Thank you, I love it." Peach smiled in return and said, "Think of this as my welcoming gift to you, Nyx." "Thank you, again." Replied Nyx. She ran inside to check out her new home. "Wow, its amazing." Nyx then noticed Peach leaving from out one of her windows, which had starry curtains on them. "Goodbye, Peach." Yelled Nyx, causing Peach to turn around and look at her waving. She waved back before continuing to walk back to her castle. Meanwhile, Nyx continued to explore her new house. It had two bedrooms, one bathroom(built for a pony), and a storage room on the top floor, and one bedroom, another bathroom, a kitchen, dining room(with a table that could seat 6 people on the bottom floor, and the bedrooms had blankets and pillows with galaxies on them. Nyx's plushie was sitting on the pillow in her room, which she took in her magic. She went back downstairs and saw a door leading to her backyard. Curious, she opened it and saw a large flower garden there. She looked at her garden for a few seconds before heading back inside. Then Nyx heard someone knocking at her door. She walked over and opened it and saw a bunch of toads standing there holding many things. "Uh, hi." Said Nyx. "We heard that you just moved in and we decided to bring gifts." Said the toad in front of the line "Oh, what are they?" The toads began to present each of the gifts. Nyx got some paint supplies, paintings of the Mushroom Kingdom, a potted flower, some gardening supplies, telescopes, and an enchanted bottomless coin bag with 500 coins inside. "Thank you all for the gifts. I really appreciate it." The toads began to leave, but as the last one left, he said, "Welcome to the Mushroom Kingdom, Nyx. I hope you enjoy it here." "Thank you, and I hope so too." Replied Nyx. Nyx began to unpack all her gifts from the toads. She put the potted flower on the bedside table, brought the painting supplies to her galactic-style paint house, brought the gardening supplies to her shed, which looked like a spaceship, hung the paintings around her house, and carried the coin bag to her room. Nyx suddenly heard the words "Mail call" come from outside. She walked out to her mail box and found a letter from Princess Peach. "Dear Nyx, A couple of my close friends named Mario and Luigi and I are planning to take a vacation to Dinosaur Island, and I was wondering if you would like to join us. If you decide to come, meet us at the hot air balloon on the east side of Toad Town tomorrow at noon. Yours truly Peach." Nyx immediately got some paper and a pencil and began to write a reply. "Princess Peach I'll be there Signed, Nyx." Nyx brought the letter out to the mailbox and placed it inside. Nyx's stomach began to grumble, signaling that she was hungry. She went back into her house and grabbed her coin bag from her room before heading to one of the Toad Town resturaunts. Nyx ordered a plain salad and quickly ate it. Once she was done, she left the restaurant after paying and headed back to her house to try painting. In Equestria, the unicorn trio had just about given up. "This isn't working, but I want my daughter back." "Hmm, maybe Discord will help." Suggested Starlight Right after she said that, Discord appeared in the room with a big sign that said "No." "Nope, I can't do that. My magic isn't powerful enough, but I can do two other things." "Which are?" "I can open a window-like portal and send a mini version of myself to Nyx so that you can communicate." "DO IT." "Okay." Replied Discord, using his claw to open the portal. On the other side was Nyx painting next to a flower garden. She was painting a picture of Twilight and her friends. "Nyx." Said Twilight to the portal, "I know that you can't hear me, but know that I'm still trying to bring you home. Oh, Nyx." While Twilight was talking to the portal, Discord was sending the mini Discord through to the other dimension. "Keep an eye on Nyx, mini me. Make sure that she can communicate with Twilight through letters. And tell me when something worth opening the portal happens." "Yes, giant me." Replied Mini-Discord, jumping through a smaller portal. Back at Nyx's house, Nyx began to feel tired. So she quickly, but accurately, finished her painting before putting her painting stuff away and heading back inside her house. She set the painting down on her table to let it dry overnight before heading to her room for the night. She turned off her light, smelled her potted flower one more time, then fell asleep. //-------------------------------------------------------// Preparing for departure //-------------------------------------------------------// Preparing for departure The next morning, Nyx woke up to see the sunlight shining through her window. "I can't wait to see Dinosaur Island, I wonder what it's like." Said Nyx, holding her Twilight plushie "I wish that there was some way I could tell mom about how I'm doing." "There is one way." Said a voice "W-who's there." Asked Nyx, startled Mini-Discord appeared on Nyx's muzzle, "Discord, is that you?" "Sort of. I am a clone of the real Discord, and I was sent here in order for you to send letters to your mother." "Really?" Said Nyx, excited "Yes, really. The real Discord is also able to open window portals for your mother and company to see you." "Awesome. Do you think that I could send a letter right now?" "Certainly. Your write the letter and I'll deliver it." "Okay." Back in Twilight's castle, Twilight was reading a book on different types of teleportation when Discord appeared in front of her. "You got mail from guess who." "Nyx?" "Yes. Here you go." Replied Discord, giving the letter to Twilight before snapping away. "Dear mom. I know that you're probably worried about me, but I wanted to tell you that I'm safe. I ended up in this place called the Mushroom Kingdom, which is ruled by Princess Peach, and she, along with the toads(not related to frogs) are really nice. I still miss you and everyone else in Equestria, and I will be coming back eventually. But I have no idea when that will be. For now, know that I am still okay. In fact, they are so nice that they gave me a new house in the town in front of the castle called Toad Town and a bunch of gifts. Today, I'm joining Peach and two of her friends on a vacation to this place called Dinosaur Island. I'm really excited for it. One last thing, please don't be mad at Auntie Starlight and Trixie. It was my fault that I ended up here. I wasn't thinking and that's what caused me to get hit by the magic. "Anyway, I'll be sending you another message when I get back from Dinosaur Island, though I'm sure that Discord will be opening a portal so that you can see me. I really hope that I can get home soon." "Love, Nyx." Twilight set the letter down and began crying. "Oh, Nyx. I hope so too." Back in Nyx's home, Nyx was looking through her cabinets for any food. "Ugh, no food." Said Nyx, before her stomach began growling, "And I'm hungry. Guess I'll have to go to the market for some kind of food." Nyx grabbed her money bag and headed to the market. I'm really going to have to ask for a saddlebag, and maybe another bottomless bag, except this time for items like food. Nyx arrived at the market a couple minutes later. "Hey, Toad. What kind of food do you sell here? I'm completely out at home. "We currently only sell mushrooms." "I'll take 8 of those." "That costs 4 coins." Nyx reached into her bag and pulled out the 4 coins and handed them to toad. Toad took the coins and then got the mushrooms for Nyx. She lifted them with her magic and left the market munching on one. "Please come again." Toad said right before Nyx walked out the door. Nyx then headed to the shop next door and walked inside. "Hey, do you sell more of those bottomless bags, this one for food. I have a feeling that I'll need one at some point." "Lucky you, we only have one left. It costs 235 coins." Nyx gave the coins to Toad, and he gave her the bag. "Do you also sell saddlebags?" "No, unfortunately. But it doesn't take long to make one. Mind waiting a half hour over in that chair?" Asked Toad, pointing to an empty chair. "Sure." Replied Nyx, going to sit. After the half hour passed, Nyx's new cosmic saddlebag was finished. "That would normally cost 600 coins, but since you're new, it only costs 100." Nyx gave Toad the coins and placed the saddlebag on her back, then she put the two bags inside. "Hey Toad, what time is it?" "It is currently 10:30." "How long does it take to get the the east side of Toad Town where the hot air balloon is at?" "About 15 minutes walking." "Perfect. I got plenty of time. See you later, Toad." "Okay. You too Nyx." Nyx walked to a bench in the Toad Town park and ate the mushrooms, but she noticed that she wasn't getting stuffed. But she didn't have much time to think about it, for she started walking towards the hot air balloon. When Nyx got there, she saw Peach along with two other people standing there. That must be Mario and Luigithought Nyx. "Hey, Peach. Where's that special guest you said was coming with us?" Said Mario "I'm sure that she'll be here any minute. Oh, there she is." Mario and Luigi turned and saw Nyx. "Um, Princess. When did you get a pet winged unicorn?" "Hey, I'm nobodies pet, and the term is Ailcorn." Said Nyx "Um, Bro. Am I going crazy, or did that alicorn just talk?" "I assure you, neither of you are going crazy." Said Peach "You must be Mario and Luigi, Peach told me about you. My name is Nyx." "Well, nice to meet you Nyx." Replied Mario, shaking Nyx's hoof. Luigi did the same thing after Mario. "Nice to meet you too. Now, when will we be leaving for Dinosaur Island?" "Right now." Replied Peach, "Come on you three." Mario, Luigi, and Nyx walked onto the hot air balloon and closed the entrance. The hot air balloon started rising into the sky and floated towards where Dinosaur Island was. On the way, Nyx and the Mario bros started telling each other about themselves. Nyx told them about her origin, and Mario and Luigi told Nyx about when they were young. The three quickly became became well acquainted with each other during the hot air balloon ride. Moments later, Dinosaur Island was in sight //-------------------------------------------------------// Dinosaur Island //-------------------------------------------------------// Dinosaur Island In the chaos dimension, Discord was lounging in his house talking to himself. They were discussing what kind of pranks they should do next Prank Day. Then a portal suddenly appeared in front of him, and mini-Discord poked his head out. "Well, hello again mini-me." Said Discord, "Any news involving Nyx?" "Nyx is just about to get to Dinosaur Island. Are you going to inform the ponies?" "I suppose I should." Replied Discord, "Twilight is definitely going to want to see her. And the others too." "Well, I better get back to Nyx. Farewell, giant-me." Said mini-Discord, going back through the portal. "Hmm, I better head out to Twilight's castle now." Discord said to himself "Yes, you should." Said a second Discord, before disappearing in a flash. In Twilight's castle, Twilight and Spike were having a cook-off in her kitchen when they were suddenly teleported to the throne room, with the other 5, Discord, and CMC were already there. "Discord? What are you doing?" Asked Twilight "Why don't you look for yourself." He replied, pointing at a portal showing Nyx looking off the side of a hot air balloon. "N-Nyx." said Twilight, walking closer to the portal. "I suggest you back up from the portal Twilight. The others will want to see." Said Discord "A-alright." Replied Twilight, backing up "Don't worry so much Twilight. Nyx is safe and happy there." "I guess." "Hey, they're about to land." Said Rainbow dash. The ponies, Spike, and Discord looked at the portal and saw Nyx looking at an approaching island "What is that place." Asked Applejack. "I think that it's called Dinosaur Island. Nyx told me that she would be having a vacation there." Replied Twilight "D-d-d-dinosaurs?" Said Fluttershy "Don't worry Fluttershy. I don't think that she would be going to an island for a vacation if it was full of giant pony-eating dinosaurs." "It's amazing." Said Nyx "It really is." Replied Mario, standing next to her. "Do you have dinosaurs in Equestria?" "No, we don't." "Interesting." "We're just about to land." Said Peach "Oh, I'm so excited to meet a real dinosaur." Said Nyx The hot air balloon landed in the middle of a meadow, and they all got off. "So, what should we do first?" Asked Nyx, walking with Mario and Luigi while Peach tied the hot air balloon. None of them noticed a large figure approaching Peach "We should go looking for dinosaurs first, right Peach." Said Luigi No answer. "Peach?" said all three of them at different times, repeatedly. Then they suddenly heard something laughing at them from above them. They looked up and saw some kind of clown flying thing with a large mutant turtle of some kind. They also saw Peach in the flying device. As the creature began to fly away, Mario and Luigi began to angrily shout at him. "Bowser! You bring Princess Peach back!" Meanwhile, Nyx had a look of pure terror on her face. "Who-who was that?" She asked the brothers. "That was Bowser." Said Mario, not moving his body to look at her. "Bowser?" "Yes, Bowser." Replied Luigi "You two don't really seem to like him very much. Have you met before?" Mario closed his eyes, "Yes, but it wasn't a friendly greeting." "What did he do?" "Let's just say that this wasn't the first time he kidnapped Princess Peach." Replied Mario, opening his eyes again. "Now we've got a Princess to save." Mario and Luigi began running when they heard Nyx "Wait. Let me come with you." Yelled Nyx. "I don't want to be left alone in this possibly dangerous place. I'm just a filly." "She does have a point bro. It's probably way too dangerous for a filly to be by herself on this island." "Alright. Nyx, come on. We've got a long journey ahead of us." "Oh, thank you Mario and Luigi." Said Nyx, "I promise I won't get in the way." "No, Nyx. Don't do it." Exclaimed Twilight, fearful. "Relax, Twi. I'm sure that, um, what were their names?" "Mario and Luigi." "Yeah, them. I'm sure that they will keep Nyx safe. They've obviously already dealt with this Bowser guy before." "Yeah, I suppose. I'm just worried about her." "I understand that, darling. But these guys must be strong heroes, despite their outward appearances." Said Rarity. "You're right Rarity." The ponies continued to watch as Mario, Luigi, and Nyx rushed through the meadow. "So, you two have already challenged Bowser before and won?" "Yes. We did." "Mario. Goomba incoming." Warned Luigi. Mario looked and saw the goomba walking towards him before jumping on it, causing it to become squished before vanishing in a puff of smoke. "Thanks for the warning Luigi." Said Mario. "What was that thing?" Asked Nyx "That was a goomba, one of Bowser's minions." Replied Mario "And you just killed it? Why?" "Bowser's minions are relentless. If we don't kill them, then they'll kill us." "K-kill? I don't want to die." Said Nyx, "But I don't know how to fight." "You don't. Man, your home must be so peaceful. Anyway, how about we tell you how to fight like us." "O-okay." "Okay. So Nyx, the first part of fighting is jumping. Show me your best jump." Nyx then jumped about halfway to Mario's hat, which was enough to squash at least a goomba. "Good. That'll squash a goomba, but you'll need to practice jumping higher for bigger enemies." "Mario, another goomba." Said Luigi. "Thanks Luigi. Okay, you see that goomba right there?" Mario asked Nyx. "Yeah." "Jump on it's head." Nyx hesitated, but then ran towards the goomba and jumped on it's head, squishing it. "Good job Nyx." Congratulated Mario. The trio continued until they reached a large sloped hill with goombas walking up. "Okay Nyx. The next part of fighting is sliding into your enemies. Luigi, show her what I'm talking about." Luigi nodded before sliding down the hill, knocking all of the goombas out. Then he got out of the way as more goombas began walking up the hill. "Your turn Nyx." Said Mario Nyx gulped before slowly walking towards the slope. Once she got on it, she sat on her rear and began sliding down, also knocking the goombas out of the way. "That was really fun." Said Nyx as Mario slid down. They continued until they approached some floating coins and a question block "Next thing is coins and items." Mario said to Nyx. "Jump up and collect those coins." Nyx nodded before jumping and getting the coins, which somehow automatically went into her join bag. "Now strike that question block with your hoof." Instructed Mario. Nyx approached the question block and hit it with her hoof, causing a mushroom to pop out. "Mmm, mushroom." Said Nyx. She took the mushroom and ate it. When she did, she suddenly grew to the size of a teenager, while still having her "Nyx" appearance "Uh, what just happened? Is this normal?" Asked Nyx. Mario and Luigi both nodded before the three of them continued. "What the hay just happened?" Asked Spike. "I'm wondering the same thing. I'll have to ask Nyx to bring one of those mushrooms back to study it." Said Twilight After teaching Nyx how to jump from wall to wall, swim underwater, and use pipes, she was ready to really begin her first adventure. Author's Note I based this chapter off a very detailed introductory level for people(or in this case, Nyx) who have never played/watched people play any Mario games before. //-------------------------------------------------------// Dino Island: Stage 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Dino Island: Stage 1 Nyx, Mario, and Luigi kept running through the meadow. Mario stomped on a koopa that was sliding towards them "Was that a turtle?" Asked Nyx "It was a koopa, another one of Bowser's minions." "Oh. Well, let's continue." Replied Nyx Just a few meters ahead was a ? block on the ground. Luckily, there was another koopa next to it, this time it had a shell. Luigi jumped on the koopa, causing it to lose it's shell. Then Nyx eliminated it by jumping on it's exposed body. Luigi grabbed the shell and threw it at the ? block, making it release a green-spotted egg. The egg hatched and the creature inside quickly grew into an adult in seconds. "Woah. What is that?" Asked Nyx. "Hey, thanks for releasing me. I'm Yoshi." Said Yoshi "That's a interesting, but cool name. I'm Nyx." Replied Nyx, before noticing that her hooves were sore. "Ugh, my hooves hurt." Nyx said "You could ride on my back if you want, Nyx." Said Yoshi "Thanks Yoshi." Replied Nyx, getting onto Yoshi's back. "Okay." Said Yoshi, "I can swallow things with my tongue, like this." Yoshi extended his tongue and grabbed onto a fruit before bringing it back and swallowing it. "Cool." Said Nyx, accidentally punching Yoshi in the back of his head, causing him to stick his tongue out again before yelling in pain. "Ugh, don't do that. I hate it when people do that. It gives me a headache." Complained Yoshi "Oh, sorry." Replied Nyx "It's fine, just remember to simply tell me when you want me to stick my tongue out. Same goes for you two too." Yoshi said to Mario and Luigi with a stern look. "Don't worry Yoshi. We won't do it." Replied Mario, Luigi nodding. "Good." Said Yoshi, "Now, let's go." The four of them continued their journey, soon coming to a pipe. They entered it and found more ? blocks in an underground area on the other side. One of the question blocks contained three weird looking flowers. Mario took one, then Luigi took the second, and Nyx decided to take the third. The three ate them and suddenly changed. Mario's and Luigi's clothes changed colors while Nyx's mane and tail turned into fire. "Woah, cool." Said Nyx. "I wonder what this can do, maybe," Nyx ignited her horn and a few seconds later, a fireball came out of it. "Awesome." She said, firing more fireballs, which took out enemies as she rode Yoshi through the underground area while collecting all of the coins there. Mario and Luigi looked at each other and shrugged before following Nyx and Yoshi. The four of them quickly exited the underground area through another pipe and continued onward, defeating more enemies and collecting several more coins. They soon reached a weird block that kept flashing different objects inside. Mario ran up to it and struck it, then he, Luigi, and Yoshi(Nyx still riding him) stopped for a second before continuing to on the path. "That was awesome." Said Rainbow dash, "Did you see how Nyx kept firing those fireballs?" "And Yoshi." Said Fluttershy, "I really wish I could meet him." Twilight was nervous about her daughter's safety, and everypony there knew it. "You need to stop worrying so much. Nyx is perfectly fine." Said Applejack "Yeah, I should. I guess that there are some things that just happen. Though I'd really like to study that weird flower." Everypony there started laughing "What?" "It's just that we knew that you would say that, Twilight." Replied Rainbow dash Twilight thought about this for a second before giggling. "I guess that it is pretty funny." The friends continued laughing for several more minutes before calming down and continuing to watch the four heroes. Author's Note I absolutely despise the Yoshi abuse thing. So I made sure that it would never happen in this fic, ever.
