✺The Shinny*Story of
Sooo♡Like,On☆one☆sunny☆daaay,...we were going to a family reunion with smelly pat as I secretly would call him but the crazy weird pony next to me callz him dadayyyyyyyy with a valley girl accent like me. Don't ask me why, ask her.
“See what did i tell you, Floral Swirl? In and out. Wasn't visiting my dad and your grandpa fun? But yeah, this is the town i grew up in.“
Alright mom.”I said to Echo Kiss.I call her mom aloud, but in my mind i say her name, just cause it reminds me she is a pony like anyone else. Plus i love her name.(Or because an fan*fic writer didn’t want to waste the cool name she came up with)
“Now let’s go check on my sister, your Aunt Jewelry.”she said with a smile
“Wait why do we need to go check on your sister? I mean, dad is at home waiting for us to come back home for family game night. I promised. YOU promised.”I said. “Besides, it is getting kind of dark out. The train back tome is half an hour long but still, they do not run all night.”
“I have not received a letter or a response to mine in a long time. I just want to make sure she is alive”Kiss Echo explained.
“WHAT?” I exclaimed, I had never considered that as a possibility. I actually had not seen Aunt Jewelry science i was really little. Aunt Jewelry was a descendant of Rarity, and of course had a nack for arts and crafts. She had like the coolest cutie mark! Her cutie mark was a pink and blue Vase with a dark purple gem design on it with a rose in the vase. I mean, how do you forget a cutie mark like that?! Mine is just a Swirling paintbrush and my mom’s is a resounding heart. She also had the legendary purple hair and white coat, but my mom said that she had a streak where it was pink at the top and blue at the bottom and some of her mane was streaks of a lighter purple. She was a unicorn of course, but me and my mom are pegasus. So is my dad.
Of course, she ignored my response. I do not think she realizes the greater signiffigance of what she said.“Look, the town is tiny, that is why i know my way around so easily. Ha, look at that. There is still only the three stores. Food, home stuff and the convenience store But do not worry, we will be in and out.” explained Echo kiss.
“OK,” I said. Lets just go and do it. We walked for maybe five minutes. I mean, mom did say this town was tiny.
No kidding.
We came across this worn down purple house with a poor roof and paintjob, s the windows were broken and it was dark out cause night time. Oh my god Luna.
“You first, girl.” i said.
“I did not mean it like that, I was just curious.” explained Echo kiss.
We went the door and knocked, but it came open. The door was cracked, and we took a step inside. Broken glass and boxes were everywhere, and some boxes were stacked and looked ready to fall over.
Echo Kiss made a flashlight with her magic. We went through the house to the yard and found the bench was broken and upside down. Smashed flower pots were everywhere and some pots had dirt and plants near them. There were logs and fallen tree branches too. We saw a bridge and crossed. I heard some movement in the lake, and the bridge was shaking under us. Suddenly we heard a weird sawing noise, it sounded unorganized and all over the place like it was being thrown about the target of whatever they where doing in there.
“Creepy,” i whispered. Didn't Raity fight bad guys or something? Perhaps they want revenge, i mean we live in a fairytale, not the real world!
“I did not mean it like that, I was just curious.” explained Echo kiss.
We followed the sound to this old shed, it was rather large honestly, and there was a huge gab after it were it looked like some construction had begun, but that was not important. The creepy shed of sounds was the issue here! What is going on?! We came closer. The sawing was definitely coming from the inside. We came around the corner and heard,....
“Oh hi guys I did not know you were coming,”
We saw fencing gear strewn along a fence with swords stuck into the ground connected with a thin wire. On one of the swords was a dead body, with wine and strawberry syrup, wait no, that is bucking dripping bloody blood like a death omen from the waters of fuking time!
Opps, wrong story, we saw my aunt painting a log of wood that a pony sitting next to him had finished cutting with a saw.
”HI”My aunt called, smiling nonchalantly.
“Sister?”Asked my mom surprised
“Oh hon, we thought you died!”I said with a mix of surprise and joy.
“WHAT?! NO WE DIDNT!”Cried Echo Kiss
“Oh im sorry, i mean i thought that she did die.”I said, partially under my breath but loud enough for Echo kiss to hear.
My aunt looked at me awkwardly. I shook my head for a second
“What in the world s going on here?!” I demanded
“And what the heck did you do to your poor yard?!” Added echo Kiss
“ oh that, well I mean that is actually a kind of funny story.”said Aunt Jewelry.
“We got time”Echo Kiss said
I started to protest.“No we do-“
“Good, ok, so like I plan to use all this wood to make a new home! All those boxes are full of junk I do not need anymore, and the door is unlocked cause I barely goin there so I honestly couldn’t care about what the heck happens to that place. The garden is a wrek because I decided the bench needed to come her but when I tried to move it, it fell over and after a while I gave up on that. The flower pots I threw because I plan to replace them, and I thought of a project that requires broken shards, and I actually did that within the hour and I just haven’t picked them up yet. I was going to, but it got dark and I don’t wana goin the dark with shards everywhere. And usually nopony ever comes here so it does not matter so yeah, that is what is going on. As for the the bridge, that has been there since before the person who I bought the house from lived there. I rarely use it so it never required repair. But if you plan to come again I may as well not make it that one bridge from shrek.“
I was surprised and annoyed. THAT is how we got so scared?! “Wow. Sounds like you have a lot of work on your hooves” i said.
“I’m sorry it is kind of creepy and a mess though, even with my reasons.”Aunt Jewelry said.
“Oh, that is ok,Thank god we did not get jump scared because we would have dropped this awesome pie!” I handed it to her. “Happy thanksgiving to you or whatever you celebrate”
“Oh thank you so much, hey honey look at this” Aunt Jewel turned to the male pony next to her who was cutting more wood and listening to music in headphones. He sort of nodded at her.
“He is not usually like this at all, he loves meeting new ponies“ she said, and tapped him a few times before he took his headphones off.
“Hon this is my sister’s daughter say hi. He waved and smiled, but then resumed cutting wood.
I actually got a decent look at him this time, he was a fairly tall earth pony with a green coat with a brown fade on his hives, his mane was messy and blonde, and his cutie mark was a collection of wood carvings of the four card symbols in a circle arranged around a green leaf. His headphones were purple and blue with black flowers on the side.
I waved to him, but I did not know him that well, and it was rather always. Also I did not want to interrupt what he was working on. Anyway she took me into her art studio. There were glitters,pots,ribbons,trinkets,nik nacs and markers all over the place, and the walls look like a rainbow puked on it, but I loved it. And we gave her and her boyfriend the pumpkin pie my mom’s dad gave us.I loved my aunt. She sort of gave off this *cool*art*teacher* vibe.
Like♡Sooo, yah,I learned that no one can actually die if we just have some pumpkin pie and that when you hear a chainsaw in a movie,it is really just yout aunt’s cool boyfriend cutting wood to make a cool project.♡Y♡A♡Y♡for scardy*cats I guess.heh
