in the years since graduation Sunset has kept close ties to her friends, but none moreso than Applejack. Long summers have been spent helping on the farm and becoming part of a family that accepts her and treats her like one of their own. It's a dynamic that, as an orphan, she never knew.

That dynamic suddenly shifts one summer during the August harvest when, under the boughs of an apple tree, Apple Bloom kisses her.
