//-------------------------------------------------------// My Life as a Teenage Changeling -by LightningStrike34- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue: Sandbar's Silent Adventure //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue: Sandbar's Silent Adventure Sandbar's Silent Adventure As the cream colored colt and his friends Gallus the Griffon, Smolder the Dragon, Silverstream the Hippogriff, Yona the Yak and Ocellus the Changeling had reached the Everfree Castle, the cerulean griffon spoke up asking, "So, this is the place?" Ocellus responded. "Yep, this is it. Say hello to the Castle of the Two Sisters." "Castle of Two Sisters? Yona not understand." "Yeah, who builds a castle in the middle of a forest anyways? Seems like an awful lot of work with all the trees you'd have to burn down." Everycreature turns to look at Smolder with a look of concern, "What? I'm right aren't I? Besides the point, who even lived here?" Everycreature sans Sandbar and Ocellus spoke in agreement as he explains, "This castle was the previous home of the two princesses, Princess Celestia and her younger sister Luna, a long time ago a battle had been fought here that left the castle in the state it is today." Ocellus continued, "And that battle was waged between Celestia herself and a wicked transformation of darkness and bitterness named Nightmare Moon, a battle that ended up changing the fate of Equestria's future for many years to come. Using the Elements of Harmony, Celestia conjured up all the strength she had and sent Nightmare Moon straight to the Moon for a thousand years, only to be restored to her former state after Headmare Twilight and her friends used the Elements themselves and freed Luna from her dark prison." Every other creature stood speechless as Smolder spoke out, "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Are you saying that Princess Sunbutt herself banished her own sister to live on the moon for one thousand years and she lived? How in Tartarus does that even work? And secondly, Celestia banished her own sister to live on the moon, wouldn't that be pretty traumatic for her to have to do? That seems like a last resort thing if you ask me." Sandbar elaborated, "Well Luna herself didn't literally live on the lunar surface from what i've read, she was sealed inside the moon. Remember the fabled Mare in the Moon?" Everycreature was initially confused but nodded in agreement, "And secondly, I'm not one to judge somepony's past decisions on a whim, as far as I know Celestia didn't have much of a choice in the matter, don't ask why or how. I'm not even sure if Celestia herself remembers why." Gallus spoke up, "Well in anycase, enough of the history lesson and let's just get settled in, did anyone here bring any food?" "Nope!" "Nope, sorry." "Yona sorry, Gallus." Gallus sighed, "Okay, well what about you two?" Ocellus responded, "Changelings don't really need to eat solid food, we're Emotivores or well we used to be..." Gallus groaned, "Well you must have something, right Sandbar?" "I can head into town and get some food for all of you, besides the fact you're all in hiding right now." Sandbar pondered his thoughts before having an epiphany. "I know, I can just grab a couple boxes of Cupcakes from Sugarcube Corner. Anycreature agree?" Smolder rebutted his suggestion, "Isn't that the place where Professor Pinkie Pie lives? What if she sees you?" "Yeah, I think I'd have to agree with Smolder here." Gallus responded, "The Professors are probably looking for all of us at this very moment, is that really the best idea?" "Well unless you'd rather I get something from Hayburger, it's the best idea I have." Smolder gagged, "Why do ponies have to make food out of hay? It's disgusting! Why can't I just have a nice juicy beef burger instead of the crap they serve here in Ponyville?" Everycreature sans Gallus felt like puking while Silverstream felt slightly queasy as the cerulean griffon spoke up, "I know right?! Ponies and their hay, bleugh! I had one on accident and all I felt was nothing but disgust from that one bite." "Well, Maybe I can go out and buy some fruit for the six of us, the Ponyville Marketplace has tons of fresh produce we can all eat." Gallus groaned, "Okay that's fine, just as long as Professor Applejack or the others don't see you i'm sure it'll be fine." "Okay, be right back in a bit!" Was Sandbar's reply before Ocellus called out. "Wait! Could you go out and get some pillows and blankets? We may need some if we're going to stay here." "Yeah, no problem. Be back soon!" And so Sandbar galloped out towards Ponyville as the rest of The Young Six made their way to the Abandoned Castle. The Ponyville Marketplace When Sandbar finally arrived in Ponyville, he stopped by the Cart Rental Service as he paid the stallion the proper amount of bits before stopping at the local Banana Stand run by Banana Split, a yellow coated unicorn mare with a vibrant blue mane, "Oh, Hello Sandbar. You here to buy some produce, hun?" "I'm just here to buy a few fruits here and there, maybe a few other things as well." Sandbar huffed before continuing, "How much are bunches here again?" She chuckled, "It's four bits, deary." Sandbar opened his saddlebags before pulling out sixteen bits and set them down on the counter, "Four bunches please." "Right away deary," Banana spoke before she continued. "but what is the cart for hun, are you having some sort of celebration?" Sandbar hesitated before giving his response, "It's just a little get together between some friends of mine, nothing special." Banana nodded, "Well, I wish you the best of luck hun." She then looked back before levitating several bananas into the wooden cart before resuming, "Have a good day now!" "You too!" Sandbar replied before continuing onwards toward his next destination. ~Prologue~ After going to several fruit stands and the like, Sandbar made his way over to Quills and Sofas which in addition to selling its namesakes also sells bedding supplies as well. A fact Sandbar was familiar with having been inside said store once before. As Sandbar made his way inside (cart in tow) closing the door, The Store Proprietor, Mr. Davenport spoke up cheerfully upon his arrival, "Morning, kid! You here to buy some quills or maybe a sofa?" "Not today, Mr. Davenport sir. I'm just here to buy some extra pillows and blankets. You have those in stock, right?" The light amber coated earth pony responded, "Well you're just in luck, I just recently aquired a new shipment just a little while ago. Care to buy it off of me?" He pulled out a basket of bedding supplies enough for a group of ten full sized ponies. "That would be well appreciated, what do I owe you?" Davenport replied jovially, "Psh-aww, this one is on the house kid. Free of Charge." "Really?" Sandbar replied shocked, "That's awfully generous of you sir. I don't know if I can accept that..." Davenport responded as he held out a few quills, "Well tell you what kid, I'll throw in these quills for ten bits and you get the bedding supplies as a bonus, what do you say?" Sandbar nodded in agreement as he dug out ten bits from his bag before setting it on the counter, "That's reasonable," Taking the quills in his hooves he stuffed them in his bag before putting the basket in a vacant spot in the cart. "Have a good day, Mr. Davenport." "You too kid." Replied the store owner as Sandbar headed back outside, making his long trek back to meet his friends near the Everfree Castle. //-------------------------------------------------------// Oscar, The Garbage Man from Seattle //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note I'm going to expect seeing Oscar the Grouch references in the comment section, so please go ham. Oscar, The Garbage Man from Seattle Oscar, The Garbage Man from Seattle Oscar and his co-workers had just finished their rounds cleaning out the remaining trash when his phone rang out, normally the man would let it go to voicemail, but when he looked at the Caller ID he immediately knew who it was as he picked it up stammering, "H-Hello?" The Proprietor of The Seattle Divisions Waste Management Northwest and Oscar's Boss, Alexander Hendrickson, spoke over the phone, "Oscar T. Chandler, we need to talk." Those last four words immediately made his heart skip a beat as he muttered under his breath "Aww, shit..." After the call ended, Oscar informed his co-workers of his phone call as he asked the driver to stop back at his house. When he was dropped off back home, Oscar grabbed a quick snackbar from inside and shoved it into his pocket before heading out to the garage. Upon opening the garage door, he spotted a stray raccoon trying to rummage through a tipped over metal bin as he shouted in anger, "Go on ya mangy rodent, SCRAM!" The raccoon hissed before running off as the man groaned in agitation, "Damn Raccoons, why the hell do those nasty creatures still exist? Burn 'em all to hell for what I care." As Oscar walked over towards the garbage can and pulled it back up, he spotted a free coupon for 'all you can drink beer' at a bar he's never heard of before and pondered. "The Midnight Hour, who left this here?" He said before stuffing it in his pants pocket and shrugged, "Aww whatever, It's not expired or anything so I guess I'll take it." After regaining his bearings he made his way over to his vehicle, a 1993 Dodge Viper and opened the door. As he sat down onto the drivers seat, he put his car keys into the ignition before setting his left hand into the 10 position as his right hand was laid onto the gear shift. Releasing it from park into the drive position, he drove off towards his next destination wondering what his boss wanted. ~2~ Upon arrival to the Waste Management Building, he received a call from his boss hitting 'accept' as Alexander spoke, "Are you here yet? I'm not going to wait all night, ya know." Oscar grumbled under his breath, "Yeah, yeah, I'm almost there. At the front entrance actually, shouldn't take too much longer." "Well you better hurry up," Alexander said raising his voice. "I'm not exactly thrilled at bringing you in here..." Just as Oscar was about to reply, the familiar sound of a call ending was enough to draw his attention as he exited his car pondering his thoughts, ’What the hell was that all about?' As Oscar made his way through the front entrance one of the people working at the front desk, Samantha, called out to him in concern, "Oscar? What are you doing here this late at night? Shouldn't you be at home in bed?" Walking over to her, Oscar responded before continuing somberly, "Alex kinda asked me to come in for whatever reason, it doesn't sound rather pleasant from his tone over the phone." Samantha was confused, "What could you have possibly done to warrant such a reaction, you're like one of our best employees we have working here!" He interjected, "I wouldn't say I'm that good Sam, I just get what needs to be done with as few mistakes as possible. Even I'm prone to error every now and then." "Well for whatever reason I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding, just go and do your best. You've got this!" Samantha said with a goofy grin, holding her thumbs up as he laughed. "Okay then, I'll just give it my all and hope for-" was all Oscar could manage out before his phone started vibrating as he sighed, "I'll just be going now." ~2~ Upon entering his bosses' office, Alexander spoke up as the younger man shuddered, "Oscar, do you know why I called you in here?" "Uhh, to give me a promotion for all the hard work I've been doing?" He said with a toothy grin as his boss sighed. "No Mr. Chandler," Alexander then held out a photo of a slightly younger Oscar smoking a blunt while leaning on a pole as his co-workers heaved trash in the foreground, "Tell me who you see here in this photo, Mr. Chandler. Anything I should know about?" "Uhh, a guy smoking cannabis behind a bunch of garbage men?" Alexander pinched his nose in frustration, "Yes but just whom is the individual smoking right here, hmm? Would you so happen to know, Oscar Chandler? " Oscar sighed, "Sir, I'm sorry that was just the one time I-" Alexander raised his voice, "Just the one time huh? Then how do you explain all these?" One by one Alexander held up several different photos of Oscar repeating the same action ranging from four years ago to now each with plenty of clear evidence lined against him. "Wha-huh? I don't- how the- what?!" He was utterly flabbergasted, "Wh-who even took these?" Alexander replied condescendingly, "One of your co-workers had decided to take a photo of you everytime you flubbed up, so when I saw the damning evidence I was surprised at just how low you'd gone." Oscar growled, "Randall! Damn that bastard to hell I'll-" Alexander responded firmly, "I think I've made my judgement very clear by now Mr. Chandler, I won't tolerate this behavior in my workplace." Alexander then held out a bottle of Pepsi and sipped it before making his final statement, "Oh and one final thing, YOU'RE FIRED!" //-------------------------------------------------------// Teen Bonding //-------------------------------------------------------// Teen Bonding Teen Bonding Back at the Castle of the Two Sisters, Gallus was doing some flying tricks up in the air while laughing gleefully before he made his way down near the ground performing an Aileron roll that led into a slow loop-de-loop. "Huh, this place is way cooler than I thought it'd be." Meanwhile, Yona was making her way down a flight of stairs before her hoof got caught on a braid of her hair as she tripped and rolled all the way down looking off into view smiling. Smolder meanwhile was busy munching gems off of an old statue. "Even I'm impressed, what's this place called again Ocellus?" Ocellus was reading a book on the stairway surrounded by several book stacks as she responded, "The Castle of The Two Sisters, I remembered it from class. Princess Twilight's History of Pre-Equestrian Friendships." Gallus chuckled as he flew down towards the changeling. “Huh, who knew? Turns out school was actually good for something after all." Yona started to speak before embracing her nearby friends in a tight hug smiling. "Yona not really like school but, Yona like new friends!" Smolder struggled to get out of her grip as she spoke up, "Smolder... like... breathing." Everycreature then turned towards Silverstream staring out the window shouting, "Hey you guys, Sandbar's Back!" From the edge of the Everfree Castle, Sandbar was hauling his supplies over towards the castle when one of the wagon wheels hit a rock as an Orange fell out of the cart and onto the ground, just as he was going to check for any notable damage, Yona quickly galloped her way forward shouting, "Sandbar Back!" as he screamed and covered his face with a hoof preparing for impact. Luckily Gallus was there to fly in as he directed her braids in front of her hooves as she tripped into a barrel roll before she firmly stopped upon a few feet in front of him panting like a dog. Sandbar looked up as he held out a sigh of relief before responding, "Thanks for the assist, Gallus." Gallus brushed him off. "Pft, I was saving the food, you're just a bonus." Gallus and Yona then walked over to the fruit cart before stuffing their faces full. Ocellus flew over to the pillows and blankets as she stuffed herself between them. "Pillows! How nice, the castle is going to be so much more comfy." Smolder then flew up behind her and grabbed one of the pillows in her claws throwing it at Sandbar before grabbing another. "And fun, Pillow Fight!" Sandbar and Smolder then had a back and forth of whacking each other with pillows before they spotted Ocellus (who had shapeshifted into a Bugbear) hovering over them with a barrage of pillows as she slammed herself right on top of them before the three of them all laughed in glee. Soon after, Silverstream shouted in awe as the rest of them turned to see what she was getting at, "I just found... STAIRS!" Everycreature was staring at her intently before Gallus responded in Deadpan, "And we care because...?" She started rubbing them in her talons before continuing her jovial speech, "Stairs are Awesome! We don't have anything like 'em underwater 'cause you know," She then Transformed into her Seapony form, "no way to climb 'em." Everyone else then gave out an 'Oh' of realization before she transformed back into a Hippogriff, "This place has Everything!" A glum look sprawled across her face as she spoke, "If only my family back home could see it." Smolder then threw her an orange as it bounced off of her head before landing in her talons as she ate into it smiling. Ocellus after hearing Silverstream talk spoke up next before turning to look at Smolder, "I wish the other changelings could meet you all, you're not nearly as strange as the stories say." "Gee thanks," she replied sarcastically. "But, y'know hanging out with other creatures is actually... not that bad." Just then the sound of rustling leaves sounded out nearby as Everycreature turned to spot a bush shaking before a porcupine like creature hopped out of it with a blank expression on its face. Ocellus dawed in realization before Sandbar replied in concern, "Almost other creatures, what is... that thing?" Ocellus sighed, "Am I the only one who didn't sleep through Professor Fluttershy's Critters of Comfort and Conflict Class?" She pointed a hoof at it before continuing, "It's a Pukwudgie, maybe I can make friends with it!" Shapeshifting into said creature, Ocellus walked over to it as she made several distinct noises to it before the orange creature growled like a wild beast as several others bounced in front of it, continuing the same savage growl. Ocellus then quickly backed away from the swarm of Pukwudgies as she shapeshifted back into a Changeling, "Oops..." //-------------------------------------------------------// Getting Acquainted & A Serious Problem //-------------------------------------------------------// Getting Acquainted & A Serious Problem Getting Acquainted & A Serious Problem After Escanor came back with the menu, Oscar casually browsed it and spotted a favorite dish of his as he placed down the order, "I'll have the Fish and Chips with a side of Ketchup, please." Escanor responded before heading towards the backroom, "Not a problem at all sir, I'll see that our chef does his best to cater you." And with that Oscar waited once again as he turned his head leftwards spotting the young man from before sitting across from him, Chris, from what the girl had called him had a rather normal appearance than his girlfriend. Describing him from his appearance, Oscar saw that he had short, dark brownish black hair, and green eyes. On his torso, he wore a white grey plaid sleeved shirt overtop a striped dark and light gray t-shirt, the sleeves themselves rolled up below his elbows. And finally from the waist down, a pair of black denim jeans with white laced shoes covering his feet as he heard the boy chuckle looking towards him. "I'm kind of a fish guy myself to be honest, good choice man." Chris spoke up in affirmation before turning back over to Isabelle as the bartender returned laughing anxiously. "It may take some time for your food to be ready sir, for the inconvenience would you care to partake in a beer while you wait?" Escanor spoke somberly as Oscar browsed the selection, stumbling upon a beer with a strange name he laughed briefly before speaking, "Dogfish head?" "Hmm?" Escanor said before turning his head spotting it laughing jovially and grabbing it from the shelf, "Oh yes, this is a vintage I've been fermenting myself, the barley in it has just the right amount of 'oomph' to the senses i'd say. Care to endulge me with a taste?" Without a second thought, Oscar took the bottle from him and popped off the cork before chugging the alcoholic beverage with the tenacity of a wildcat in the moonlight. Escanor and Chris looked at him in awe as he swigged it down in one go, letting out a content sigh Oscar belched heartily as the young man laughed at the scene before him. "Man, you must've been really thirsty for you to drink that all in one go, nice burp by the way." He gave a thumbs up before continuing, "My name's Chris, Chris Young. What's yours?" Oscar let out a chuckle, "The names Oscar, nice to meet ya." Looking over his shoulder Oscar spotted Isabelle drinking a Bud Light before turning back over to Chris saying, "Her name is Isabelle, right? I kinda overheard you two talking from outside while I was exiting my car." Chris stood back a bit from the question before resuming his prior stance, "Yeah that's right." turning his head back over he called out to Isabelle, "Hey Izzy, I'd like you to meet a new friend of mine." Turning back towards Oscar he spoke, "Oscar, say hello to my girlfriend." Isabelle giggled before turning towards Oscar as she introduced herself, "Nice to meet you, I'm Isabelle, Isabelle Arrington." The Castle of The Two Sisters, Everfree Forest, Equestria "Uhh, Twilight? We have a bit of a problem here!" Sandbar called out as Twilight flew over only to gasp at what she saw. "What happened here?" Twilight asked staring at the downed changeling, "Did anycreature see what did this?" Gallus replied sarcastically, "Well if it wasn't already obvious it was those Porkfudgy things." Twilight was removing quills from the infected area as he continued, "They hit Ocellus with those quills into her head, they almost got me before you guys showed up." "This looks very serious, I'll have to inform Thorax and explain she's been hurt." Twilight replied sternly, "Now, you all need to go back to the rest of your families while I deal with Ocellus, we can't afford to waste any time here." "But, Twilight she's-" Was all Sandbar said before Twilight interjected. "Your friend... I know, but what matters more is preventing an international crisis." Twilight turned towards Starlight and the others as she shouted out, "Spike, Take a letter!" ~4~ Ponyville Hospital After all but one of the missing students were returned home safe and sound, Twilight was standing outside of a medical room alongside Spike and Thorax as the changeling sighed, "If I knew something like this would happen, I never would have let her come to the School. I feel so powerless to do anything even after I sensed something was wrong." Twilight held a sorrowful look on her face, "This isn't your fault, I share just as much if not more than you do. If only I had decided on the beginning to run the school my way instead of listening to the EEA, none of this would be happening." The normally docile baby dragon spoke up in defense, "Oh come on Twilight, you know that's not true at all! It's all Chancellor Neighsay's fault, not yours. Blame him!" Thorax nodded in agreement, "I'll have to agree with Spike, his attitude towards non-ponies is incredibly unpleasant putting it lightly. If I were in his position, I wouldn't treat any creature the way he did towards your students." Just then, one of the surgeons came out of the room with a sorrowful look on her face. Taking off her mask she spoke solemnly, "We were successfully able to remove the toxins near her head but... some of it managed to seep inside her brain, and by the time we had removed it completely we-" Choking up a sob she continued, "I-it's best you see this for yourselves." //-------------------------------------------------------// Good Times and Drunken Antics //-------------------------------------------------------// Good Times and Drunken Antics Good Times and Drunken Antics After a few hours had passed, Oscar and Chris were passing the time drinking and laughing as he finished his tale. "And by the time Derrick had finished his graduation speech, the bucket filled with water completely drenched him down to his boxers. Can you believe that shit?" Oscar laughing like a hyena, slammed down his half empty beer bottle as it broke upon impact. "And this all happened because some guy or girl set up a pulley system to do it? Man, whatever kind of people went to your school, I'll never know." Looking over to the bartender, Oscar called out to him. "Hey Escanor, what's the strongest beer ya got?" The barkeep replied with a look of concern, "Well there was this recent shipment from Brewmeister I received yesterday morning but... are you sure you don't want something else?" Tapping his foot on the ground he continued, "Perhaps about another round of Budweiser?" Oscar shook his head, "No thank you, just give us the strong stuff please. Chris and I deserve a chance to relax for a while." The bartender sighed holding out a piece of paper, "Sign this, please." "What is this?" Oscar replied in confusion "This is a liability waiver, sign it and the responsibility of your actions are out of my hands." Picking it up, Oscar signed the waiver before placing it back in his hand. "Here you go." "Thank you. I'll be back to give you your drinks in a moment." As the barkeep walked into the backroom, Chris spoke up. "You didn't need to do that for me Oscar, I'm perfectly fine with just us talking about our life stories for now." Oscar responded in tangent, "No no, it's fine. You need some time to yourself bud, take a load off every now and then." Before he could respond, the bartender came back with two glass bottles of beer as Oscar read the label. "Brewmeister Snake Venom?" Isabelle turned her head spotting the bottles with a curious look, "I thought you could only buy these in the UK, how did you get them?" Escanor laughed as he explained, "My family and I were born in Brighton and I moved here to Seattle a few years ago. I have a couple friends from England in the same line of work and they ship it off to me after i've paid them." Oscar shrugged before grabbing the bottle of beer, "Well whatever... beer is beer, right? Wherever it's from shouldn't matter that much." Grabbing the other bottle in his left hand, he set in down in front of Chris as Oscar popped the cap off of his own and sipped it. "Wooow, that it some strong stuff. How much ABV is in this thing?" "ABV?" Chris asked curiously Isabelle responded, "Alcohol by Volume? Any good alcoholic knows this kinda thing Chris. Hell, I don't even drink all that much and yet i'm familiar with the term." Turning her head over to Oscar, she explains, "From what I remember reading about it online, I think it was 67% ABV according to the website I heard it from." Escanor interjected, "Erm yes, that's quite right. I should ask you to be careful now, I don't want one of my customers to-" "Ay Escanor, can I go on break now?" A masculine voice called out from the kitchen, "I want to head back home to spend some time with my wife if ya don't mind..." "J-just a second." The bartender huffed as he turned to face the group, "I'll be right back, I have to go deal with something." Turning over to Oscar he spoke sternly. "Please be careful, I don't want you throwing up in here. Understand?" Oscar replied nervously, "Y-yes sir, i'll do my best." ~5~ As Escanor made his way into the backroom, Oscar turned the bottle around to look at the list of ingredients as he read aloud. "Water, yeast, hops, barley, wheat-" Chris had a confused look on his face as he spoke up, "They put wheat in beer? Like... as in the ingredient for bread?" Oscar explained as he swigged down some beer shuddering, "The high protein levels found in wheat greatly enhance the beer's contribution to foam stability. Putting it in simpler terms, it makes the beer better tasting and longer lasting." "Huh, I guess you learn something new everyday." Chris grabbed the bottle sitting next to him as he popped the cap off and sipped it, "Woah-ha-haow, this is strong! I feel like I drank napalm from how hard this is." Isabelle spoke in concern, "Well just be careful Chris, I don't want to see you pass out in a puddle of Pißwasser, Okay?" "Don't worry about a thing, i've got it all under control." Chris spoke as he sipped more beer shaking his head. Gulping down more of his beer, Oscar let out a groan before speaking in a drunken tizzy. "Ey Chrish, Dish I ever tell ya that yer girlfriend's quite a casch? If she wash shtill shingle, I'd go fer her if ye know what I mean." "Excuse me?" They said in unison The drunkard let out a hiccup and laughed, "Yeh, she's jush the most beautiful think I've ever laid eyes on shince I got here." Getting off the stool he walked over towards Isabelle and pulled her in for a kiss as she slapped him. "Oscar, What the hell? Get off you pervert!" She says shoving him off her Wobbling like a ragdoll, Oscar scoots his way over to Isabelle once more lunging onto her before Chris holds him in an elbow lock. "Hey, what the hell man? That's my girlfriend you're messing with!" The drunken Oscar then leans his head forward before ramming it back into Chris' face as he yelps in pain holding his battered, bloody nose. "Urgh, dammit O-" Isabelle shouted out to him in concern while Oscar started walking towards her. "Don't make me have to use force, I'm not a threat to be taken lightly." As the drunken Oscar had huddled up next to her he started unbuttoning her jacket before kicking him off hard as something fell out of her boot, clattering onto the floor. Picking it up off the ground, Isabelle spoke up before casting an incantation as light started to erupt from its point. "I didn't think I would use this spell, but I've been meaning to test this out." Rumslig... Själ... Överföra! Chris spoke in disapproval, "I-Isabelle, wait d-don't-" Feeling his body float off of the ground, Oscar felt something pulling on his very being as his life essence was pulled out from his body in a sphere of light, flying out the door and rising into the sky before dissipating from sight. //-------------------------------------------------------// One Life Lost, Another Yet Gained //-------------------------------------------------------// One Life Lost, Another Yet Gained One Life Lost, Another Yet Gained Room 3-24, Ponyville Hospital Entering the operating room, Twilight, Spike and Thorax were lead inside by the earth pony doctor when they spotted 3 other ponies standing by a medical bed, Twilight and Spike were familiar with one of them from a previous encounter, calling out to him. "Doctor Horse, please tell us everything that happened. We-" "Where's Ocellus? Is she going to be all right?!" Thorax cried as his wings buzzed in panic. Doctor Horse glanced towards Thorax as he replied somberly. "Sir, we ask that you remain calm-" "Remain calm? Remain Calm?!" Thorax growled bitterly. "How can I be when one of my own hive is likely in serious pain?" "Thorax, stop!" Spike spoke in response, "He's just trying to do his job, don't take it out on him." "But Spike, O-Ocellus she-" "Thorax," Twilight interjected. "I-I'm sure she's fine... just..." Turning her head towards the unicorn doctor she continued, "She is fine ...right Doctor?" Doctor Horse sighed, "Physically yes, she's as fit as a fiddle since the day she was born err..." He looked towards the male changeling. "Hatched?" Thorax nodded. "Yes, since that day she's been physically fit for a changeling of her caliber." Twilight spoke up, "Well, what about mentally? Do you have any insight on her mental state?" "I err... that's the reason I brought you all in here a-actually. I-I um..." One of the ponies standing by the hospital bed, a unicorn mare replied. "What she means to say is..." Turning towards the unconscious changeling, she sighed nasally. "It's best if you come over here so you can see for yourself." As Twilight and co. were walking over towards the medical bed, Thorax spotted two wooden monitors laying out two different readings. One was a simple heartbeat monitor that showed her heart was working as fine as ever, but looking over towards the second monitor relayed two different readings with both of them completely flatlined. Noticing this, Thorax spoke in concern as he pointed towards the respective screen. "D-Doctor? W-what is that monitor for?" Twilight and the doctor turned towards where he'd pointed as she had a grief-stricken look, "Oh no..." Turning towards Thorax, she slowly walked over to him teary-eyed before reaching up to his neck pulling him into a hug. "I'm sorry... I'm so... so sorry..." The Interdimensional Plane As Oscar's soul flew through the endless void, he stumbled upon a colossal glowing entity as they spotted him. Oh hello.~ What do we have here? Another soul wandering the dimensional plane? The man groaned from his recovering alcohol induced headache as he looked up backing away in alarm, "Whuh I- uh um uhh..." The colossal titan chuckled at his reaction. You need not be afraid, I wish no ill intent upon you. Using her tendril arms, she brings him up to her field of vision. I am after all the guardian of this realm. Surely you've heard of me from the tales of olde, have you not? Oscar shook his head, "I think I would've heard stories about a gigantic purple god thing had they'd been written. Erm... sorry." The lavender behemoth sighed. It seems not everycreature is aware of my existence after all... but that doesn't mean I can't change yours. Using one of her tendril arms, she rips open a small pocket into a nearby dimension as Oscar spots a hospital off into view. Go now, I think you deserve a chance to live once more. "A hospital I- what do you? Nonononono wait!" And with those final words, Oscar's soul was flicked off into the nearby plane as the Holy Titan waved him off. Room 3-24, Ponyville Hospital As the alicorn wept on Thorax's shoulders, Spike replied timidly. "W-w-wait, d-does that mean she's..." "No... NO! She can't be... her... I-" choking back a sob, the changeling king bolted out of the room as Spike called out to him. "Thorax‚ wait!" Feeling something feathery prod his shoulder, Spike looked back to see one of the doctors looking at him. "It's best to let him grieve in peace alone, don't let it bother you too much." He sighed. "These things happen, sad as it may be..." Everypony turned to face the Doctor Horse as he drew their attention. "Ahem. Regardless, we still have a job to do." Turning his head to face Twilight, he continued. "Would you two please step outside for just a moment? We need to finalize some private documents if you don't mind." Twilight nodded, "Of course, come on Spike. Let's get going." ~6~ After Twilight and Spike exited the room, the doctors were busy finishing up the remaining documentation as the unicorn mare sighed. "I don't know how you guys keep it up with how tough it is to tell them the bad news, your friend/family member is deceased? I just couldn't imagine anypony outright saying that." The earth pony replied, "W-well I-it's not like anypony told them that specifically, we just..." "We told them without actually telling them," The pegasus stallion turned to face her. "Isn't that right, Tenderheart?" "Dr. Caduceus!" The unicorn mare shouted, "Please be a bit more sensitive around her about this, we don't get many incidents like this in Ponyville you know." "Alright, Alright. Lay off me would ya? I was just being honest..." While the two of them were busy squabbling, a beam of light from an open window flew into Ocellus as the light quickly disbursed. "Alright, alright, enough you two." Doctor Horse sighed, "Let's get back to work." //-------------------------------------------------------// The Master and The Apprentice //-------------------------------------------------------// The Master and The Apprentice The Master and The Apprentice As the spell had completed its task, Oscar's body fell to the floor lying lifeless as Chris groaned in frustration. "Isabelle..." Isabelle huffed, "Chris, he tried to molest me! It was in self-defense." Chris raised his voice, "You used magic on a non-blood in a public place! What are we gonna do about the body? Alistair is gonna find out about this sooner or later, won't he?" Isabelle brushed him off, "Pft, like he's ever going to find out." Oh? Well that’s funny, because I think he already does. Isabelle and Chris were teleported outside behind the tavern as a blue fox statue hovering in the air uncloaked itself in front of their eyes. I'm not happy Isabelle, not happy one bit. Isabelle was caught off guard by her masters sudden entrance, "A-Alistair... h-how long have you been watching us?" Oh, not too long. I was in the immediate area removing one of my exes curses when all of a sudden, I see a soul flying outside of the very bar you two were standing in. The cursed sorcerer levitated in front of her face. Care to explain, Isabelle? The apprentice laughed nervously, "U-um... I-" On second thought, it doesn't matter whether or not you tell me. You're going to fix this mess you've made, Teleporting Oscar's body into Chris' arms, Alistair continues. Starting... now. Isabelle was flabbergasted, "Y-y-you can't be serious! I don't even know where his soul even went to, it could be across the entire multiverse for all I know." That's not my problem, and yet i'll give you my word of advice. The sorcerer sighed. There is still a bit of soul residue inside his body, that should be enough for a tracking spell to find which dimension he's currently in. That's all I'm going to tell you. He turned his gaze to Chris. And I expect you to help her out as well, Mixling. "Me? Why should I have to help her?" Chris asked confused Well for one thing, I don't want her to be left all by herself to clean up her mistake in some offset world. And two, I don't trust her completely to not mess something up along the way. Isabelle growled. That's why I trust you to help out. Chris spoke up, "Um, hello? What about my family, wouldn't they be worried to find me gone? What about my mom and step-dad?" Alistair retorted. Call one of your siblings and inform them of this situation, they'll summon a construct to take your place so your parents don't have to worry. Its as simple as that. "And I'm guessing you want to inform my dad on this as well. Right, Alistair?" Isabelle spoke in deadpan The Fox nodded. Correct, just use your mobile devices and send them a message. His voice became more serious as he hovered in front of his apprentice glaring. And I expect to see results, Isabelle. ~7~ Teleporting away, Isabelle and Chris pondered their thoughts as they stood in shock. After calming back down, Chris set down the mans body as he pulled out his phone and started to make a call. After about a couple of minutes had passed, the automatic voice message of his sister Jessica came through the phone, "Hi, this is Jessica Young. You just missed me but leave a message and I'll talk to you later. Bye!" After the beep sounded, Chris closed the call groaning. "Jessica..." Then dialing the number for his other sister, after waiting several minutes the voice of his familiar sibling spoke through. "Hey, Chris. What's up? How's the bar date with Isabelle going?" Chris heard his girlfriend groan as he responded, "It's going great but uhh..." He sighed. "Can I ask you for something?" "Umm... Sure, what is it, Chris?" Chris then went into a word by word recap of what had transpired moments ago detailing the drunken man, Isabelle's use of magic and Alistair's punishment. "...and now I have to go into some random universe to track him down with Isabelle." He sighed. "Can you just summon a construct to take my place for me while I'm away? I would ask Jessica but she's busy at the moment." "I understand, I'll make sure to do that." Christina laughed, "But I better expect pictures when you get back, its not everyday you get to see beings from an alternate dimension." "I'll try my best, see ya when I get back. Bye!" "Bye, Chris!" With the call concluded, Chris shoved his phone into his pocket and looked to see Isabelle making the same action. "So, what did your dad say?" Chris asked Isabelle frowned, "Well he's obviously not happy, but he understands what I have to do." She sighs before activating a tracking spell as her wand lights up, "Ready or never, Chris." He chuckles, "Don't worry Izzy, I'm ready." While they're preparing to teleport however, the chef from earlier walks out from the back exit. "Okay, See ya tomorrow I WHOA-" Bumping into them the spell goes haywire, teleporting them all by mistake as it sends them to their next destination. //-------------------------------------------------------// A Stunning Revelation //-------------------------------------------------------// A Stunning Revelation A Stunning Revelation Beep ....................beep ....................beep ....................beep "Okay that's done," Dr. Tenderheart sighed. "how are you two coming along?" Beep .............. beep .............. beep ..............beep The unicorn mare replied, "Just a couple more lines." She turned her head towards the pegasus stallion. "Dr. Caduceus?" Beep ........beep ........beep .................... They all turned their heads towards the immediate halt when all of a sudden- BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP "OH SWEET CELESTIA! What is happening?!" When he finished speaking however, the sudden spike in activity had slowed its way down to its normal pace as if nothing had occured. Beep ........beep ........beep ........beep ...........beep ........beep After everything finished settling down, Dr. Caduceus spoke up in bewilderment. "W-what in Celestia's name just happened?" Dr. Open Heart replied in a similar tone, "I-I don't know..." Turning her head towards Doctor Horse, she frowned. "Do you have anything on this Doctor?" "I-I'm just as confused as you are Dr. Heart I-" He heaved in frustration, "This doesn't make any sense." Suddenly, the group stood in awe to see that both monitors were responding normally as Dr. Heart blinked. "I...I s-she's-" "Alive? She's actually alive?!" Tenderheart shouted at the sudden revelation while the others backed away cautiously. "I- I... This is..." The earth pony stammered before turning towards her sister, "This is a miracle! I-I... Heart, can you believe this?" Everypony else turned to look at her as the unicorn babbled incoherently. "Buh-buh-buh-buh-buh-buh..." This continued for a minute or two until Caduceus stepped towards her and smacked her in the face with a hoof. Snapping back to reality, the mare groaned in pain. "H-hey! What was that for?" "Just a little wake me up, you're welcome by the way." Caduceus finished with a smirk. Stepping over towards Doctor Horse, the pegasus stallion pulls him over as he starts a conversation. "So Doc, what's the verdict? We let her go now that she's apparently alive or what?" "Goodness no!" The doctor shakes his head, "We don't even know the complete state of her mental condition, she could have some form of scarring or severe brain damage. Celestia knows how long it would even take if she even wakes up." "Alright, alright, alright." Caduceus backed down turning to face the unicorn mare. "Heart, what do you think we should do?" "M-me?!" Shouted the flustered pony. "What makes you think I know what to do about this?" The stallion chuckled, "You are the problem solver aren't you? You unicorns are always using your noggins for situations like this." Caduceus walking over to her wraps a foreleg around her shoulder. "Or am I mistaken?" The earth pony cringed, walking over to her sister batting it away before speaking up to him. "Maaaaybe we should just wait and see what happens first, just to see how bad it is before making a brash decision." He groaned, "Ugh, fine. You're right." Walking over to the door, the stallion turned his head to ask a question. "Do you guys want anything to eat? There's this new place that opened up recently that's selling pizza, anypony hungry?" Doctor Horse perked up at the suggestion. "Isn't that the place with flavored crust? Butter Garlic, mmm." The pegasus responded, "Yeah that's the one," He turned his head towards the mares. "you two up for pizza?" The unicorn shook her head. "No thank you, I'm trying to watch my figure." Her sibling however wasn't so cautious. "A Large Pizza with Mushrooms and Hay Bacon for me, please." "Ok. So half and half good for you two, or do they need to be separate?" The stallion asked inquisitively. Doctor Horse responded, "That's alright with me," He turned his head towards her. "Is that alright, Tenderheart?" She nodded. "Yes that's okay." "Great! I'll be back ASAP. Don't get too hungry when I'm out alright?" Tenderheart giggled, "No promises." And with that he made his way out the door as the rest of them turned to face the bedridden changeling. 'I just hope she's alright...' Seawave Residence, Eastern Ponyville "I should've been there to protect her! Why did I just sit back and do nothing?!" Sandbar was stomping around in his room to the behest of his relatives, "What kind of pony am I to just sit back and do nothing? Because of me, one of my own friends got hurt today..." The cream colored colt sighed heavily. "M-maybe I should just take a nap to get my mind off things, that would probably be best." Just then, the voice of his younger sister called out behind his bedroom door. "B-Babar, are you okay? I heard yelling... Did something happen while you were out?" Sandbar was silent for a moment before making a reply. "I... It's nothing you should worry about Corrie, I'm okay really." Coral however wasn't convinced. "Babar... Y-you shouldn't have to hide your feelings y'know? We all care about you..." Sandbar could hear her tearing up through the doorway, "A-and I... I care a-about you too, p-please! Don't feel like you have to hide away from us, w-w... we love you!" Unable to hold it in any longer, Sandbar erupted into tears as his sister walked in to see him crying harder than at any other point in his life. Seeing the poor colt in distress, she ran over to him as she pulled him into a tight hug. "I'm here for you, Babar. I-I'm here, y-you don't need to handle this on your own." Sobbing into her brother's chest, she hugged him even tighter. "W-whatever it is, y-you can tell me. I- I won't hate you for it." He choked back a sob as he stared at her with tears in his eyes. "Y-you really mean that sis?" "Yes, I... I'll always love you Babar, I always have!" She said with a smile. The colt sniffled as he collected himself, "T-thank you, you're the best little sister a guy could ask for." He scooped her up in his forelegs as she laughed with glee. After a couple of minutes had passed, he asked her a question. "So, what is it you wanna know?" "T-tell me everything from the beginning, don't skip out on anything y'hear?" He sighed, "So it all started out like this..." Room 3-24, Ponyville Hospital As the three ponies were waiting patiently, Dr. Heart had excused herself. "Oh... Duty calls! I'll be back momentarily, don't let me hold you up." Tenderheart giggled, "Come on sis, if you have to go to the bathroom you can just say it." Seeing the mare's face flushed red, Doctor Horse spoke up. "Let's not start another situation you two." Turning to the unicorn surgeon he continued, "You're free to go." With a quick nod the mare left the room as her sister responded in irritance. "Doctor please, it's just a little bit of teasing. We do it all the time back home, what's the big deal?" He sighed, "What you do on your own time is none of my concern, but when you're working here I expect you to be on your best behavior." He glared at her as he pulled his head closer. "Do I make myself clear?" Sighing, the mare relented. "Yes sir..." "Good." Walking towards the door, he gave her an order. "Now, you stay here, I'll be back momentarily. Keep an eye on her and make sure she's comfortable. Do you understand?" She nodded. "Alright, now get going. I have some business to attend to." And with that, the unicorn left the room as Tenderheart cantered her way over to the bed. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Pony and The Changeling //-------------------------------------------------------// The Pony and The Changeling The Pony and The Changeling Making her way towards the hospital bed, the amber earth pony looked over to see that the blankets were unkemptly laid across the changeling like a clump of cloth. "Now how did this..." Seeing the mess of fabric carelessly strewn about, she arrived at the foot of the bed as she pulled both blankets into a neat position sighing contently. "There we go, that would've k-" She held her tongue cringing at what she was about to say. Looking down at her, the doctor sighed. "Please wake up, I... I wouldn't know how he'll live with himself if you never do. He's... He's in a lot of pain right now and..." She facehoofs in realization. "He doesn't even know you're even alive! What am I..." she growled, "What am I just doing standing around here for, he should know about this shouldn't he?" "Mmm... five more minutes..." Her eyes widened at the sudden voice as she turned her head towards the changeling. 'I... I...' She hummed again contently, "Thank you..." She stood there speechless, whether or not she should do something to wake her. Just as she was making her decision however, a clattering of hoofsteps ran past the room as several ponies cried in alarm. "Somepony catch her, don't let her run away!" Several Barks had soon followed as they reverberated around the room before dissipating. 'Ugh, don't tell me she's-' Her thought was interrupted however as the Changeling rose from her bed. (Oscar's View) As I went to open my eyes, a searing pain shot through my head quickly shutting them as I groaned. "Agh, what was-" Closing my mouth to think, the sensation erupted once more as I cried in alarm. "AGH! M-my head..." Just then, I heard a feminine voice call out to me as I held my trobbing head. "O-oh my goodness, are you-" She halted before quickly responding, "Nevermind, just tell me what's wrong!" "M-my head... My head feels like- AGH!" My head felt like it was going to burst as I heard her call out. "I-I'll get you some medicine! B-be back soon." Listening to what sounded like coconuts being clattered together, I heard a door swing open as the sound faded off. "W-Wait!" But she was already out of range by the time I 'spoke', sighing I tried speaking again only to hear the same unfamiliar voice. "Testing, Test-." I cringed. 'W-what ha-' My thought was cut off however as it felt like my brain was being shirked with several sharp needles. "AAAAAHHHHH!!!" Sprawling my body across the soft surface, the clattering sound had returned as I heard the door swing open her voice calling out. "O-oh my goodness, h-here! Take this." I felt something shove a pill into my mouth as she responded, "It was the only thing I could find on such short notice, it's Aspirin so I don't know how well this will work but-" Quickly swallowing the pill whole, I felt my headache go down from intense pain to moderate discomfort. As I tried opening my eyes once again, I felt something touch my face as it held them closed tight. "Try not to open your eyes, I don't want you overexerting yourself again. Okay?" Attempting to assert myself, I caught a sweet smelling scent enter my nostrils as I sniffed it curiously. This held on for a minute or so until she spoke up again, "Um, Hello? Is everything alright, deary?" The smell faded as another interesting aroma entered my nose, sniffing it intently. "D-don't you smell that?" She sounded befuddled as she replied, "Smell what? I don't smell anything." I sniffed it again trying to make it out, humming silently. "It smells like... nectar?" The smell continued its potent growth as the woman voiced her confusion. "N-nectar?" "Y-yeah, Its pretty strong." I gagged, catching a disgustingly faint scent. "And Vinegar too, bleugh. Gross..." Just as I finished my statement however, the smell faded out as it was replaced by... Oranges? "Oh, Oh my... I-If there's anything I can do to- Hmm..." She pondered her thoughts for a moment before slapping herself. "Oh, I should've known something like this happened to you..." The zesty aroma had been quickly replaced by the smell of wet grass as she sobbed precariously. "I-If only we'd heard about this sooner we..." The woman continued crying before I retorted. "H-hey, I may not know what's going on but... W-Whatever it is, I doubt it's your fault. You did the best you could, right?" 'What the hell is even going on?' "Y-you really think so?" She asked with a sorrowful voice. "Of course, you need to have a little faith. 'I wouldn't say this if I thought otherwise.' "Don't sell yourself short, you can do anything if you put your mind to it." Hearing her sniffling, a sudden weight fell upon my back embracing me into a tight hug as my eyes burst open. "T-thank you, you have no idea how happy I am to hear that." Looking around the immediate area, I knew I was in a hospital room as the lady in question released me from her hug as I spotted her. "Thank you, you've really made this mare's day." Registering what I was witnessing, after a few seconds I blacked out. //-------------------------------------------------------// A Magical Mishap //-------------------------------------------------------// A Magical Mishap A Magical Mishap Canterlot Statue Gardens, Equestria The spell having finished its task, the trio fell onto the ground spitting out grass from their mouths as Chris groaned in pain, "Urgh, wh-what happened?" "The- The spell must have- AGH!" Isabelle responded before looking at him screaming. "I-Isabelle? What are you- AHH!" Chris screamed in response. She took another look at her boyfriend as she stammered. "C-Chris? Wh-what happened to you?" "Me? What happened to you, you're a Unicorn!" "WHAT?!" She turned her neck to get a look at her new body as she spotted her tail. "Oh Shit! Did the spell do this to us?" Just then, the silver haired man groaned getting up. "Urgh, what the hell? When did it-" Spotting them, the human screamed. "AHH! How, who, what?!" Looking over to Chris, he cowered in fear before holding his arms in front of his face. "P-please don't eat me! I have a wife and family!" Chris stood back in shock. "Eat you? What the hell are you- WOAH" Isabelle pulled him down, before shoving a hoof in his mouth. "Chris, is not going to eat you! What the hell are you talking about?" He raised his voice, "Oh sure, listen to the talking horse to defend her mutant boyfriend!" The mare growled angrily. "Excuse me? Do you have any idea who you're talking to? I will kick. your. a-" All of a sudden, a masculine voice sounded out behind them. "Hey! Who's out there?" The Centaur muttered under his breath, "Oh crap..." (Isabelle's View) 'I still can't believe this, my own boyfriend is now a centaur and I'm a unicorn...' Trying to steady my new equine body, the person err... unicorn steps out wearing golden armor calling out once again. "What are you doing in here? You should know well her highness wouldn't be too lenient to trespassers snooping around the castle gardens." "And where exactly is here?" Chris asked him curiously "Surely, you must be-" The stallion turned his head to spot him before readying a defensive stance. "Halt, you monster!" 'Urgh, you've gotta be kidding me' I facehoofed. "He's not a monster you dolt, he's my boyfriend!" Turning his head back, he turned to me questioningly. "Boy ...friend?" As I was about to respond however he shakes his head. "Regardless, we still have set rules against anypony just wandering in here. Do you have a permit, miss?" I looked back over to Chris to see him messing with his tail before turning back towards the stallion. "Permit I... L-look, this is all just a big misunderstanding, we were just-" I was cut off however as another identical unicorn arrived calling out to him. "Pvt. Sunshine, is there a problem back here?" "Just found a couple of trespassers snooping around the castle gardens, we-" I spoke up in rebuttal, only to be quickly cut off. "We're not-" "Silence!" The stallion yelled growling in anger. "You two... are coming with me!" Seawave Residence, Eastern Ponyville As Sandbar and Coral were getting ready to head out the door, their mother's sister, Aunt Seabreeze spotted him as he was putting on his saddlebag. "Sandbar, what-" She looked down to spot the young filly standing beside him. "Coral? Where are you two heading off to?" "We're going to the hospital!" Coral giggled. Seabreeze had a curious look on her face. "The hospital, whatever for dear?" Her look turned to worry. "You're not injured are you? Your mother would hound me if you had gotten hurt!" "What?!" Sandbar shouted in alarm, "No, no. I'm fine, we were just ...visiting a friend of mine." Sighing in relief, she pulled him into a tight hug. "Well be sure to give them my regards, anypony who's a friend of my niece and nephew is a friend of mine." Coral giggled, "Okay Auntie, we will!" Sandbar turned his head towards his sister tussling her mane. "Be sure to be on your best behavior while we're there, okay sis?" He gave her a boop on the snout as she giggled. "I can trust you, right?" "I'm not a baby anymore, Babar." She pouted, "I think I know how to control myself." Sandbar chuckles, "I know sis, I know." He turns back to his aunt. "We'll be back as soon as we can, Aunt Seabreeze." She gives him a tender smile. "I know you will deary, see you when you get back. Ta-ta!" "Bye!" They both shout in unison. Heading out the door, they make their long trek over to Ponyville Hospital. Throne Room, Canterlot Castle "Well, that could've been a disaster." The Solar Princess sat on her throne, sighing heavily. "I'm quite relieved that Twilight had found them when she did or it could've been much, much worse." Her Royal Advisor, a pale gamboge unicorn donning a dark red tailcoat, nodded in agreement. "Quite right your highness, I too am grateful she arrived when she did." The stallion gave out a jovial laugh. "Your former student does always find a way of setting things right doesn't she?" She chuckled at his remark, "Indeed she does, indeed she does." Just then, one of the guards stationed nearby entered the room as he made an announcement. "Your majesty, you appear to have a visitor who wishes to talk to you." Celestia responds politely, "Please, send them in." "Right away your majesty." He bows before heading out the door. After waiting about for a few moments, the visitor had arrived as the unicorn stallion sputtered at the creature in question. "Q-Q-Q... Queen Novo?! To what honor do we have of seeing you," He gave a bow to her. "Your Majesty?" "You may rise, little pony." She spoke sternly as the stallion lifted himself up. Turning her head towards Celestia, the Hippogriff huffed. "As for the reason I'm here, I believe it should be obvious to you given recent events I learned about recently." Novo walked closer to the Alicorn as she gave her the stink eye. "Am I wrong, Celestia?" Celestia turned to her head as she saw him nervously chewing on his mustache, turning back to the Hippogriff, she spoke sternly. "I sincerely hope you would not accuse me of any wrongdoing to put one of your own subjects in harms way, I am a very considerate pony, mind you." "Oh, is that right?" Queen Novo replied bitterly, "Was it also not your idea to tell Twilight Sparkle to follow the E.E.A. Guidebook? The very organization that ended up discriminating against any non-pony who was involved in its curriculum?" Celestia's eyes widened at this sudden exclamation. "H-how did you-" Queen Novo laughed. "Know? Oh honey, you have no idea how fast word gets around in Mount Aris. Let's just say when rumors start, everygriff pays close attention to them. And it seems it was actually true." "E-even still!" The stallion interjected, "It's not as if her majesty knew this would happen," He turned his head towards her. "R-right, P-Princess?" Celestia turns her head as she spots his unsure look. "Y-yes, thank you Kibitz." Turning her head to Novo she responds sternly. "You couldn't honestly believe I would have wished for that to happen now, would you?" Queen Novo brushed her off, "That's irrelevant, you're still responsible for this regardless of that. Speaking of responsibilities... I believe I have a certain purple princess I need to talk to. Catch you later, Sunny." Before Celestia could respond to her remark however, Novo flapped her wings as she flew out of the throne room in a hurry. Sighing, The Solar Princess got up from her seat as she slowly walked over to the doorway. Walking over to a pair of guards, she gave an order to each of them. "Have somepony tell the chefs prepare lunch, I'm quite hungry right now. And Cobalt, you go fetch my sister if she's awake." "Right away your highness." And with that the two stallions went their seperate ways as the alicorn pondered her thoughts. 'I wonder what Luna is doing right now...' //-------------------------------------------------------// A Dream of Chaotic Proportions //-------------------------------------------------------// A Dream of Chaotic Proportions A Dream of Chaotic Proportions Luna's Room, Canterlot Castle Rising out of her bed, the Lunar Princess yawned stretching her forelegs into the air before settling back down. "T'was a good rest indeed." Turning her head leftwards, she spotted her clock as she read the time. "Half past 3... t'is already afternoon?" She facehoofed. "Ugh, hopefully we haven't missed anything too important. Our sister has probably called for lunch about now." Getting out of bed, the alicorn looked over towards her dresser drawer as she spotted an old photo of her and Celestia standing next to a young Starswirl. As she reminisced about her old mentor, Luna was caught off guard as the sound of knocking erupted from her bedroom door. "Your highness, are you awake? Your sister requests for your arrival in the dining hall." 'How did I know?' Luna sighed, "Yes, we are awake. We will be but not a moment or two." "Understood, your majesty." The guard responded. "Thank you." Getting out of bed, Luna opened her drawers as she pulled out her regalia, putting them on their respective areas. Looking towards the foot of her bed, she spotted her hoofguards as she levitated them over before putting them on. After everything was finished and accounted for she opened her bedroom door, spotting the day guard. "Ah, Cobalt was it? T'is nice to see you, how is thy daughter doing if we may ask? We've heard she made the news a little while back about a recently discovered illness." The stallion sighed deeply, making his way inside her sanctum. "She was checked-in to the hospital just a few days ago, every time I see her she can barely keep her eyes open until she falls fast asleep." Cobalt turns his head to face her with a solemn frown. "I...I wish they knew what to do to help but... nothing seems to be working so far." "From what we have heard, she has a sort near comatose condition according to said descriptions." She stared into his eyes intently. "Is that to be believed, Sir Cobalt?" He nodded, "Seemingly so, the doctors said they haven't seen a condition like hers in all of Equestria!" Cobalt turned his eyes away from her as the stallion coughed into his hoof. "I... I just wish there was something I could do to help her." "Hmm..." Luna thought deeply before having an idea. "Perhaps we could be of service? We are an expert of the sleeping mind as it were, could we ask of you to give us this chance to assist you in this endeavor?" Cobalt jerked his head back towards her. "Y-you would do that for me, y-your highness?" She nodded. "We would do this for anypony suffering from such a thing," Luna held out her right foreleg, holding the stallion closer. "it's the least we can do for you." The alicorn turned her head back towards her clock to see a few minutes had passed before giving out an order. "Cobalt, we ask thou to head back to the dining room. We shall be there as soon as we can," She turns her head back towards him. "can thou inform our sister?" The guard gives a salute before heading to the door. "Understood your majesty," He stops mid-canter before turning toward her with a gentle grin. "and thank you." Walking out the door, Cobalt makes his way over to the dining room while Luna walks over towards the nearby balcony as she prepares to cast her spell. "I just hope Tia saves me some blueberry muffins for when I arrive." (Oscar's View) Sitting upon a treetop hill, Samantha and I were busy stargazing when she asked me a question. "Hey Oscar, do you ever wonder if there's life on other planets out there, somewhere far off in space?" "You mean like Aliens?" Rubbing my thumb and index finger on my chin, I pondered. "I... I don't know," I turned my head towards her questioningly. "wouldn't we have encountered some already if that were the case? I just don't buy it." She sighed, plopping herself down onto the grass as her ginger hair brushed onto my hand. "Yeah, I thought you might say that." As I was pulling my hand away, Sam was looking up at the sky before she spotted something. "Hey look, a Shooting Star!" Sam grabbed my leg, shaking it back and forth repeatedly. "Quick, make a wish!" Grabbing her arm I looked towards her, setting it down on her chest. "Ugh, Sam. You know I don't believe in that sort of thing," I looked at her sternly, "no thank you." "Hmph, buzzkill..." Closing her eyes, she appeared to be deep in thought before snorting. "Alright." She opened her eyes as she pulled herself back up stretching. "Hngh, phew. Glad that's done." After a minute or so had passed, I turned my head towards her in curiosity. "So... what'd you wish for?" She turned her head to me in confusion. "You... actually care about that?" I barked out a laugh as she stared at me unsurely. "Come on Sam, we were childhood friends, after all. I think we both should care at least a little." Scooting closer to her, I held a smirk on my face. "Come on, I won't bite." "Okay, fine... fine." Sam chuckled nervously, blowing a strand of her hair back. "So..." She sighed. "you remember my brother, don't you?" "Tall, scruffy ginger hair, and built like a truck, right?" I tapped a finger on my chin. "What about him?" She hesitated for a moment before answering. "Y-you remember that day at the gym I mentioned, right?" "Vaguely, but yes." 'What is she implying?' Sam was fidgeting nervously as she replied. "Well, I might have accidentally dropped a weight on his foot while we were busy working out, and I-" "Y-you dropped a weight on his foot?!" I sputtered in response, "He- he's gonna be okay right?" "O-of course he is!" Sam reacted defensively, "He's just getting treated for his injury and has to use crutches for the time being." She rubs her face with her palms in frustration. "I-I'm such an idiot..." Seeing her in such a sorry state, I hugged her gently giving her a few words of encouragement. "Sam... Don't beat yourself up over that mess, if you didn't mean for it to happen it's fine. The doctors have been doing their best from what you've told me, so don't worry about it." Pulling a hand away from her face, I looked into her eyes. "I doubt he blames you for this, mistakes do happen on occasion." "I- I dunno, Oscar." Sam shook my hand free, wiping away crust from her eye. "You haven't exactly seen him when he's in the zone, I- I just..." Knowing where she would take this, I pinched my nose in frustration groaning. "Tell you what, if you want to take your mind off of this mess we'll make him a get well cake tomorrow, how 'bout that?" "You would do that for me ...err, him? Really, really?" "Really, really." Pulling out my phone, I checked the time reading it aloud. "11:45? Yeesh, I need to head home." Turning my head towards her, I hold out my hand to her as she pulls herself up. "You should head home too, It's pretty late out here as it is." "Y-yeah, I'll see you tomorrow. Bye Oscar!" "Bye." And with that, she walks back down the hill to her car as I look up towards the sky spotting the full moon shining brightly. The Dream Realm Traversing through The Dream Realm, Luna was searching endlessly for the young filly as the alicorn chatted amongst herself. "I really can't thank Twilight enough for what she accomplished last week. Her 'reforming' Starswirl and bringing him back as well was a much welcome surprise," Luna then thought back to his appearance as she was reminded of the photograph. "He really hasn't changed all that much, aside from his noted musculature. I think it would do himself good to- to..." The Lunar Princess was utterly speechless at what she spotted as she stared in shock at the sight of it, it appeared to be the entrance to somepony's dreamscape but it was far from normal by Equestrian standards. A swirling void of chaotic matter surrounded by dark clouds, cycling through a list of possibilities Luna settled down on the most likely conclusion. "It has been a while since we've ventured through his dreamscape, but why would one such as him be sleeping at a time like this?" Luna's curiosity got the better of her as upon treading closer one of the clouds had launched a bolt of lightning towards her, the alicorn quickly dodging out of the way. "My word! What in-" Before she could finish speaking, the other clouds had followed suit circling her as the princess rolled from left to right. As Luna was dodging them one by one, a stray cloud passed behind her launching a bolt straight at her back as she cried out in pain. Barely managing to hold herself upright, she soon fell into the swirling mass, preparing for impact. Oscar's Dreamscape Staring up at the moon, Oscar continued his gaze at the lunar object as it continued to glow brighter and brighter, the earth beneath him trembling violently as the man tripped onto his stomach growling in pain. "Agh! F-fuck... W-what is going o-o-on?!" Panting heavily, Oscar slowly creaked his neck up towards the sky spotting the moon rumbling in a similar state before exploding into several thousands of pieces. Trying to process what he was witnessing, Oscar was caught off guard by a fast moving object as the human was hurled painfully down the hill, the object following suit. After several moments of catching each others' breaths, the man and the alicorn were blinking heavily as they opened their eyes screaming. "AAAAH!!!" "AAAAH!!!" Backing away from each other, the princess charged up her horn yelling out in alarm. "S-stand back you creature of chaos, we shant go easy on thou should thy strike!" Flabbergasted at what was in front of him, Oscar leaned back in fright as the man curled into a ball. "W-what the fuck is going on..." Intrigued by the creatures' ability to speak, Luna deactivates her spell as the alicorn treads closer. "What is this 'fuck' thou speakest of? T'is not a word we've heard spoken before." Uncupping his hands from his head, Oscar turns his head towards her as he stutters out a response. "W-who a-are you?" As Luna took a good look at his face, they appeared sincere in their statement as she introduced herself. "We are the Princess of the Night, Princess Luna. And what art thou, praytell? We have never seen such a creature like you before in all of Equestria." "Equestria? What is- AAAAAAAH!" Feeling the ground give way, Oscar screams loudly as he's falling down a bottomless pit bouncing off the jagged rocks with the force of a cow stepping on his ribcage. Seeing what lies below him, Oscar lets out a scream as he prepares for his fiery fate - after waiting for a moment or so, the man looked up in curiosity to see that the creature from earlier had caught him. After levitating him out of the pit, Oscar was incredibly grateful as he hugged her tight crying gratiously. "Thank you, y-you're a real life saver ya know that?" Luna laughed at his kind words. "Thou are much too kind, dear creature. We just did what anypony would do in such a situation." "Anypony?" Oscar belted out in confusion, "You're a... pony?" "Y-yes? We art indeed of ponykind, what else would we be?" Luna was examining him closely for any kind of trickery, but saw none. "I erm..." Oscar was speechless as he was still processing this strange interaction. "Some kind of winged horse?" Blurting out a hearty laugh, the lunar princess was tearing up as the human looked at her unsurely. After her laughter had died down, Luna told him otherwise. "We assure thee that we art a pony, an Alicorn to be precise." Staring into his eyes, Luna asked him a question. "Now what praytell art thou, strange one? We would think it be best for an explanation on this matter." "Strange one?" Oscar spoke curtly, "Look, I'll have you know that I'm a perfectly normal human being, thank you very much." The last four words were spoken with a venomous undertone as the princess chuckled precariously. "We apologize for any false wrongdoings we may have made towards you, please forgive us." Clearing her throat, she switched topics to another question. "Do you... know where you are right now?" "Erm..." Oscar replied to her obvious statement. "Downtown Seattle, why?" Coughing into her hoof, the alicorn made herself clearer. "We mean, do you remember what thou were doing before we came here?" Thinking back to earlier, Oscar thought back to the events with Samantha and her conversation with him about aliens. "Funny you should mention that, I was having a conversation with Sam about aliens and..." Remembering the moon, Oscar freaked out as he remembered it exploding into thousands of fractured pieces. "Oh shit, the moon! The moon is gone!" Turning towards the alicorn, Oscar belted out in anger towards her as she backed away carefully. "You, you blew up the moon! What- how... How could you do that!?" Stepping closer towards her, Oscar reeled back his arm preparing to hurt her. "You're going to pay for this!!!" Seeing he had no idea what was going on, Luna held him back in her magic as he was making scratching motions towards her. "You really have no idea, do you?" "No idea? NO IDEA?! YOU BLEW UP THE MOON!!!" Oscar was seething with rage as he belted out in anger, "WHAT COULD YOU POSSIBLY KNOW THAT I DON'T? Huh? HUH?" "That you are dreaming..." "D-dreaming? I'm drea-" Before he could even finish his statement, the entire world shook violently; Oscar being thrown off balance as a huge crater gave way beneath him before falling deeply down the cavernous pit. He fell so far that when he looked up he spotted a blinding bright light before everything went white. Author's Note To explain the segment between Oscar and Samantha, that is one of Oscar's memories reflected as a dream. His mind tends to reflect on past events due to his habitual lifestyle. As for explaining his dreamscape, humans are more chaotic than any other creature in Equestria (aside from the obvious) as their dreams are not lucid like the dreams of ponies. So their dreamscape tends to be more reactive to any supposed threats to their safety. //-------------------------------------------------------// Two Ponies, a Changeling and a Mental Breakdown //-------------------------------------------------------// Two Ponies, a Changeling and a Mental Breakdown Two Ponies, a Changeling and a Mental Breakdown Room 3-24, Ponyville Hospital As the Changeling was passed out on the bed, Dr. Tenderheart collected her thoughts while she analyzed these recent set of events. With a heavy sigh, Tenderheart held a hoof to the changeling's forehead as she checked her temperature. "She doesn't seem to have a fever, that's good but..." Tenderheart hummed bitterly, reminded of the changeling's reaction towards her. "She was just so... shocked at the sight of me I..." Standing above her, a thud rang out from nearby as Tenderheart was startled by the sudden sound. Looking towards the source of the commotion, Tenderheart then spotted Caduceus cradled halfway through the open window. Walking closer, she could see his face turning green as the stallion held a dented pizza box clumsily in his hooves before lifting him through the open window. Getting back up, Caduceus groans as he spots her panting heavily. "H-hey, Tenderheart. You didn't happen to see anything embarrassing, did you?" Caduceus chuckled nervously. "If... If you mean anything other than you crashing into an open window, then no." Coughing into her hoof, Tenderheart glanced towards the bed to spot the changeling leaned over before turning back to the pegasus. "What happened to you by the way, I know you're a much better flier than this so what gives?" Caduceus lets out a grunt as he creaks his neck. "I dunno, one minute I'm just minding my own business and the next a big purple blur just whooshed past me as I was on my way here." Growling angrily, he stamps a hoof on the floor. "Must've been some clutzy pegasus or something..." Clearing his throat, Caduceus turns his head towards her putting on a stoic face. "So, did I miss anything?" "Well, actually there was..." Before she could finish speaking, the room door swung open as Dr. Open Heart had returned with a small plate of celery sticks in her aura, eating one as she spotted them glancing at her. Trying to ignore their stares, she striked up a conversation. "Hey guys, are you two busy with something?" "Well, actually..." Tenderheart started to speak before being interrupted. "I just came back with the pizza, but it's a little banged up from the landing..." Caduceus said, looking towards the pizza box frowning. Flying over to it, Caduceus opened the box to see the pizza was fine. "Orrrr... Maybe not." Tenderheart glared at the stallion before turning back to her sister. "As I was trying to say, there actually was something that happened while you two were out." Their eyes widened as they turned towards her curiously. "The- The patient she- she..." Realizing what she was about to say, Open Heart interjected before shaking her frantically. "She woke up? She... she actually woke up?!" Trying to calm her down, Tenderheart stuttered in response. "Yesss, sheee di-i-iid... nowww putttt meee do-o-own." Blinking her eyes, Open Heart levitated them down gently as her sister shook her head. After regaining her senses, Tenderheart turned towards the bed to spot Caduceus standing over it, flicking the changeling with a hoof as she whined in her slumber. Seeing her fidgeting to the other end of the bed, Caduceus speaks up. "I thought you said she's awake?" "That's because she was awake, Caduceus." Dr. Heart scoffed. "Also don't do that..." Turning her head towards her sibling, Open Heart continued. "Why is she asleep?" Tenderheart sighed, turning her head towards them clearing her throat. "You remember what Horse said about possible brain damage, right?" They nodded. "W-well, that's what I believe happened according to her reaction towards me." The two doctors gasped before mumbling to themselves, after a moment had passed Open Heart spoke up. "But wait, what was it you said about her 'reaction' towards you? I don't think you explained that part, sis." Caduceus hummed in agreement as the earth pony whimpered. "She... She was so startled, it... it was like she didn't even know what I was. And... and then she p-passed out." Tenderheart frowned, her eyes stained with tears. "I- I just..." Walking over to her sibling, Heart reached her foreleg over her shoulders, hugging her tightly. "Sis, listen to me. None of us could've predicted any of this would happen, this isn't your fault or anypony else's." Increasing her grip, Heart continues. "Do you understand?" Shakily breathing, Tenderheart contemplates for a moment before responding. "I... I....... Y-yes.... I do." Releasing her hug, Open Heart sighs as she looks at her sisters' face. "Do you want to leave sis? It's fine with me if you're not feeling too well." "N-NO!" Tenderheart reacted tensely. "I-I mean, I just wouldn't want you to go out of your way for me t-that's all." Glancing next to Caduceus, she saw the pizza box, reminded of earlier. "A-and I wouldn't want to let a perfectly good pizza go to waste now that I think about it." "Hm?" Looking down at the floor, Caduceus spotted the pizza box turning his body to grab it. "Oh yeah, I guess we did forget about this pizza 'til now." Walking over to the two mares, Caduceus opened up the box as he grabbed a slice before taking a bite. "Doc really wasn't kidding about the crust, this is pretty good." "Ahrm," Turning towards the sound, Caduceus saw Open Heart had a grimace on her face as he chuckled nervously. "anyways..." Turning back towards her sibling, Heart gave a sincere smile. "you just go relax and have some pizza in the break room, Caduceus and I will take it from here." "Me? Why should I...?" Heart growled at him before he relented, "Fine, fine. I'll do it..." Tenderheart looked towards them with a look of concern. "Are- are you sure, w-what if something happens o-or she wakes up again?" "Then... we'll take care of it." Levitating the pizza box out of Caduceus' hooves, Heart pulls up her sisters' hoof before pushing the box onto it. "You don't need to worry about a thing, we have it all under control." Opening her mouth to object, Tenderheart looks at her sisters' expression before sighing. "If- If you say so..." Walking towards the door, she hums briefly before turning her head. "B-but if anything happens, you let somepony know ok?" "Don't worry, we will." Staring at the box, she was reminded of earlier. "Oh, and don't forget to save some for Doc, ok? He did ask for pizza too ya know." Tenderheart chuckled. "I remember, sis." Opening the door, the mare hummed a small tune. "See you later!" "See ya!" The unicorn said as her sibling left the room, after the sound of hoofsteps faded out Dr. Heart turned towards the Changeling. 'What's the worst that could happen?' Business District, Eastern Ponyville Continuing their trek towards the hospital, Sandbar and Coral were glancing about, eyeing the various food carts, toy stalls and watching the many ponies walking to and fro. As Sandbar continued his pace, Coral ran over to one of the stalls as she called him over. "Babar, Babar! Come here!" "Wha?" Turning his head leftwards, Sandbar spots Coral jumping up and down as he walks towards her. "Coral, we don't have time to goof around. We have somewhere to-" "I know, I know. But look Babar, look!" As Sandbar approached the stall, he spotted various toys from teddy bears to dolls as well as a stuffed dragon plush. But the one toy that stood out to him was an action figure of the Princess of Friendship wearing a golden tiara. Grabbing it in his hoof, Sandbar inspected it for any sign of inaccuracies or damage but found nothing of the sort. Part-way through his inspection, the shop pony chuckled as she greeted him. "Oye lad, like what ye see? Ah made it meself." "You made this, ma'am?" Sandbar asked. "Ah certainly did," The chestnut mare smirked. "took me least a month ta finish et." Taking the figure out of his hoof, Coral was realigning one of the figures' forelegs as it made a clean bent along the two joints, forming into a smooth 'n' shape. Looking back up at the mare, Coral let out a small laugh as she complimented her. "This is really good, you're very talented ma'am." "Thank ye kindly, little one. It makes me glad ta see ponies appreciate me hard work, would ye like ta see me other- hm?" Feeling a hoof prod her shoulder, she turns her head around to spot a chestnut stallion with a white muzzle standing behind her with a bemused look on his face. Knowing who he was, she chuckled nervously. "A-aye, Stuffer. What are ye doin' here?" "Ah was just makin' shore ye don't go showboatin' 'bout yer accomplishments again." Stuffer snorted. "It's not just yer toys that be doin' us a profit, ye know." "Ah know that ya daft twat," Her expression turned into a bitter scorn. "ah was just thanking the wee lassie, give meh a break fer Luna's sake. Why can't ye jus'-" "Don't ya be givin' me dis now, Bev." Stuffer said, raising his voice. "Ah knew what ye were doin' the moment ye went into yer little spiel." "Little spiel? Little... spiel?" Bevel was fuming at her brother's response. "I'll show you spiel when ah shove mah hoof straight up your-" "TWILIGHT!" A familiar voice cried out as the four ponies looked up to spot a small purple dragon holding onto Twilight's tail as she flew past. "S-lo-o-ow down!" "Was that Spike?" Sandbar spoke, dumbfounded by the situation. Bevel turned her head towards him. "The Princess' little assistant?" "Y-yeah..." Looking down towards his sister, Sandbar gave a stern look. "C'mon Coral, let's go." "Go?" Coral said unsurely, "To the hospital, right?" Sandbar shook his head. "Change of plans, sis. Looks like something big is about to happen," Grabbing Coral in his mouth, Sandbar put her on his back as he rushed to follow Twilight. "let's go!" (Oscar's View) "Hey Heart, you did inform somepony to contact her parents, right?" "I did mention it to Doc while I was on break but he was already on it," I heard a faint voice say as she sighed heavily. "he says it may take a while due to them being off the hospital record." "That doesn't surprise me," A masculine voice spoke, laughing briefly. "it's not everyday we get a case as serious as this, ya know?" 'Case? What the f-' Before I could finish my thought, a familiar tingle prodded my brain as I groaned in discomfort. Holding onto my throbbing head, a nearby voice spoke up as I shuddered. "Heart, did you hear something?" 'Heart...?' I pondered at his response. 'What kind of name i-' As the tingling continued to grow in tone, I overheard a feminine voice before letting out a soft moan. "I didn't hear anyth- wait..." She paused before the whole room went silent, after what felt like several minutes had passed, a sweet scent had entered my nose as she spoke again. "Hello, are you awake?" Noticing how close her voice was, I tried being quiet as possible as I whimpered under my breath. Unfortunately for me however, she had apparently heard me before she leaned in closer. "You don't need to be scared, we're here to help you." My throat tensed upon hearing this as I choked back a sob, my chest feeling tight before I belted into a coughing fit. As I was coughing, one of the doctors made a quick yelp before rummaging through a nearby cabinet. Running over to her, the doctor handed her a bottle of cough medicine before it was levitated down beside me ......wait wut? 'Wh... what the fu...!?' Trying to process what the hell I just witnessed, I was cut off as I spotted something walk right in front of me. Looking up, my heart sank inside me as I spotted her, a creature that I would've only thought to exist in fairytales standing above me. Her coat a cream yellow as her mane a rose pink, still in shock by what I saw, my mouth held agape as the unicorn started to speak. "Don't worry, everything's going to be just fine." And just like that, I screamed. //-------------------------------------------------------// Isabelle, The Teenage Witch & The Problem with Pukwudgies //-------------------------------------------------------// Isabelle, The Teenage Witch & The Problem with Pukwudgies Isabelle, The Teenage Witch & The Problem with Pukwudgies Seattle, Washington (March 24th, 2018) Oscar was standing right outside his former workplace as he growled in anger, "Grrrr! Damn Randall must've been behind this whole thing, stabbing me in the back like that... Fuck!" Stamping his foot on the ground, Oscar noticed a bar that he only recently heard of standing a few blocks away from his current location as he spoke in surprise, "How did I miss a place like this popping up, did this bar appear overnight?" Pulling out the Free Coupon for 'All you can drink beer', he got in his car as he drove off towards his next destination. ~3~ While he was pulling into the parking lot, Oscar spotted a young couple holding hands as they were conversing. "How did you learn about this place, Chris? I never took you to be the type of person to drink." Said the young woman, who had a very peculiar look. Her hair was curly and mostly black, but some parts of her hair appeared to be dyed a dark blue as they curled along with it. Her outfit, from what Oscar could make out, consisted of a brown leather jacket overlaying a black tank top shirt, a black pair of skinny jeans with golden zippers outlining its pockets and a pair of dark maroon high heeled boots. Upon closer inspection, Oscar noticed she wore a necklace that had what resembled to be a stylized sunflower emblazoned upon it as the young man spoke up, "You'd probably be surprised about alot of things I do Isabelle, my friend Derrick told me about this place and he said I should invite you." Isabelle chuckled, "He's the black guy, right? The one that your sister is dating?" "Yeah, him and Christina are doing pretty well for themselves from what she's told me. But that's enough about her, let's just grab ourselves a spot inside and see if there's anything good." As Isabelle and Chris made their way inside, Oscar got out of his car stretching as he thought back to the strange girl in a mix of confusion and curiosity, 'For as strange as she looks, she is kind of attractive. I can tell her boyfriend sure thinks so, why does some normal guy like him end up with someone like her?' Oscar shrugged as he made his way inside. The Castle of The Two Sisters, Everfree Forest, Equestria "Yaks plan better. Yaaaaiiiiieeee!" Yona hollered out as she rushed into the Pukwudgie Swarm. As the Pukwudgies fired several quills towards her, Silverstream flew in and blocked it using a bit of the wagon as they both smiled before the Original Pukwudgie hopped onto it and growled viciously at them as they backed away fearfully. At the same time, Sandbar and Gallus were creeping away from a few of them before one rolled to their left backing away to join the rest of their friends huddled in a tight circle as they pulled the cart together for protection. As the swarm drew ever closer, Smolder threw a pillow up into the air before it was blasted with several sharp quills as it fell to the ground in a cottony mess. As the Pukwudgies drew ever near growling in rage, Smolder turned towards Ocellus, "Think, Ocellus! Did Professor Fluttershy say anything on how to beat Pukwudgies in her lecture?!" Hidden behind the large cart, Ocellus rubbed her temples, "Uhh... I'm sorry, I can't remember!" Gallus replied in concern, "I'm gonna guess it's not pillows, bananas-" Gallus threw an Orange into the air before it fell back down covered in quills, "or Oranges." Silverstream spoke up next, "Wouldn't class have been about how to make friends with them, that's what they always do, right?" "Uhh, guys? They're getting close!" Sandbar exclaimed before the swarm of Pukwudgies made their way close. Hiding behind the cart in abject horror, Ocellus had been caught in a blind spot eyes shut before being hit in the head with several sharp quills as she fell limp as Everycreature shouted in alarm. "Ocellus!" Silverstream started panicking at the sight, "Nononononononono, they got Ocellus..." Gallus then attempted to grab her before the sound of hissing was enough to draw his attention as he spotted one aiming at him making a quick motion and dodging it. "Why won't these things just quit!? Is there anything that can stop them?" "Maybe not anything, but this pony knows how to kick some tail!" Just then from out of the sky, Rainbow Dash swooped in grabbing several pukwudgies and stuck them towards the trees before giving a salute as she flew back into the sky as Gallus stared in awe, "Professor Egghead?!" Following this, the nearby swarm of spiny creatures were levitated into the air as Twilight Sparkle and Starlight Glimmer ran in touching their horns together before creating a magical barrier that pushed all the nearby pukwudgies away in tangent. Spike had followed in as well, bouncing one off of his head shouting, "Yeah!" before running away in fear as two nearby pukwudgies started to run after him. Rarity meanwhile, took the time to do a bit of dress up with a periwinkle pukwudgie as it was covered in hair bows and make up. Applejack then ran in flailing her lasso grabbing two of them in her grasp, the third pulled up by two small birds that carried it over to Fluttershy as she called out in concern, "No! Don't hurt them! They're absolutely priceless." She went in to hug it tightly, as it growled at the pony behind her. Pinkie Pie rolling out her Party Cannon, tipped it up as Rainbow Dash carried in a bundle of leftover pukwudgies, stuffing them in as the ignition was lighted and the Cannon finished it of in a mixture of confetti and streamers sending them flying back into the Everfree Forest. As soon as all the commotion had finally died down, Twilight was the one to speak up, "Is Everycreature alright?" The five young creatures then turn towards their changeling friend, spotting a noticeable purple rash on her head as Sandbar spoke in alarm, "Uhh Twilight? We have a bit of a problem here!" The Midnight Hour Upon entering through the door, Oscar was utterly starstruck at the interior of the building, "No fucking way." Lining the floor and the walls was a dark blue fabric as rich as the midnight sky with not a single star misaligned as he continued his walk in when he'd spotted the drink counter across the room. It looked to be a typical martini bar lined wall to wall with people sitting on stools with shelves holding a vast assortment of liquors and other alcoholic products for all to see, as Oscar made his way closer towards the counter he pulled the coupon from his pocket as the bartender greeted him. "Hello sir, my name is Escanor. What can I do for you?" Oscar showed him the coupon as the barkeep replied with a jovial laugh, "I can get that for you, but did you read the small print? You need to pay for a meal for this transaction to be approved of." Oscar sighed as he pulled out his wallet, "Can you bring me a menu then, I am rather hungry now that you mention it." "Right away sir." Escanor replied as he went over to the backroom as Oscar groaned. "Ugh, I hate my life..."
