After the events of Anon-A-Miss and the death of Sunset Shimmer, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo became pariahs, ignored or worse by their families and abandoned by the friends they'd made in school. Driven into a corner by constant harassment and bullying, the three girls found sanctuary in an abandoned ski resort just beyond the Canterlot Heights neighborhood.
