Author's Note
Behold my first dark take on Fluttershy and Discord! I wanted to experiment with an obsessive Fluttershy in this ship. I read stories of Discord being obsessive (moreover eternal life) or mostly the relationship is sweet and magical. I want to toss a new concept for the Fluttercord society and continue to take risks on these two. I have more experience in writing plays than stories so please give me constructive criticism If the story is just purely bad give me suggestions or a different take on the story. Get my brain thinking on better ways to make it better because I want this YandereShy to be the next big thing for this community. Comment down below and thank you for reading my first story ever. You, Will, Love Me
I was cold and slowly waking up in a dark room, feeling my claw and paw on a stone floor. I try to stand fully up until something yank me down back to the floor. I attempt to process what keeps me on the ground as I try to see through the darkness surrounding me. I started feeling around my neck and felt an iron or steel chain that seemed to extend into the darkness before me. I try to pull to see if I can free myself, but I was still weak and groggy from my slumber, so I could not break the chain. Suddenly I remember who I am, and I just give a slight chuckle to that moment realization, and I snap my fingers, and I felt no magic emanating around me. I try again, and still, nothing happens, I try again and again and again, but I was still in this dark room with a chain that extends to nowhere. I start to panic and start pulling this chain as hard as possible, hoping to set myself free, but it was little effort. Then I begin to growl and scream, hoping whatever thing holding this chain will let go and wish it will set me free.
After a while of endless tugging, I was exhausted and lay back down on the cold floor. I started to yell to see if I was alone, or the creature that captured me was watching me squirm for my freedom. "Congratulations on capturing the most powerful creature in all of Equestria. What do you want from me! Power? Secret information about the new princess of Equestria? Come on! Show yourself, you coward!" It was still quiet, I tried again, but this time be more direct.
"Come out of the darkness already!" I said it with a threatening tone of voice, hoping the mysterious creature will show itself, but it was still quiet. "Dang it," I said while slamming my paw on the hard stone surface that actually caused me to quench in pain. The moment I was about to explore the dark abyss, I heard hoof stomps...slow trotting noise in the distance. That makes my list down two possible creatures that capture me. A pony or a mixed breed just like me, but who will have the balls to kidnap the lord of Chaos and be able to take away my magic?
I was beginning to hide in a dark corner and ready to pounce on the pony or whatever it is. Then I heard rattling keys like it was trying to unlock the door. Then a click indicated the door is unlocked, and without a beat, the door opened. I still wait for the creature to light up this dark void, but all I heard is the same clopping noise in the abyss. I think it doesn't know that I am awake, so I want to startle the kidnapper and give the kidnapper a moment of pride and power before I surprise him or her by ripping him or her throat out with my teeth. "What are you going to do with me?" I said it like I am scared for my life but little did the kidnapper know that was a complete lie.
The mystery pony or creature still chose to remain silent. I try to taunt the beast to see if it will reveal itself or try to come close enough to attack it and get myself free. "What? Did a cat catch your tongue?" The mystery creature was still silent, so I pressed my taunts to get some response from the mystery creature. "You know if you are trying to scare me, then I should give you a few pointers on trying to put fear towards your captives. Tip one you should-"
"Discord, can you give me a moment? I am trying to find the lighter that I had with me."Said the mysterious pony.
My heart stopped beating at that moment, and my eyes froze in shock like I just saw a ghost of my past. That voice only prevents the whole world from moving and strips away my bravado act in an instant. The flames on the torch illuminated her face and body and her lovely sky-blue eyes and her soft smile that was across her face; my eyes and mind were still stunned at the sight before me. The creature that abducted me was indeed a pony, but not a random pony. My dearest friend Fluttershy. I wanted to speak and ask her why, but all my words were vaporized now when she spoke. She looked at me with glee, but she was silent, like she was waiting for me to greet her or say hello.
"You know, sweetie, it is rude to not say hello to your love," said Fluttershy, her voice still melting the joy and peace away from my heart and replace it with agony and confusion. I saw her take a deep sigh and walk by the door and close it and walk back to the center and continue to stare and smile at me, waiting for my response. "Discord, you can't ignore me forever, you silly creature; say hello already." She demanded I to say hello, but I said something she wasn't expected to hear.
"What is going on with here, Fluttershy?" I said to her, concern in my voice.
Fluttershy lovely smile fades to a sad frown, and a moment later, she speaks, "Hello to you too, my love...honestly, Discord, it is not hard to say hello, you know." Then she walked to the left side of the room, where I saw a metal box or machine beside her. Then she put her mouth over a string and starts yanking on the line. Each time she tugs the string, the strange box growls, and finally, it roars and starts giving a humming noise.
I am not entirely familiar with pony technology these times due to me being encased in stone for over 1000 years. That was the least of my worries. I was still trying to process what is still happening. Why am I chained up like an animal? Fluttershy isn't giving me an answer yet, and...my brain finally clicked, and I ask her. "Fluttershy, did you just say sweetie and my love?" Fluttershy turns back and gives me that same strange smile like before and just nods at me.
"Discord, do you want to know what is going on?" She says with a genuine smile across her face. I nod for hoping she will provide the answer that I want. She takes a deep breath and gave me that smile again, but now those eyes were different as well.
"First, you are not easy to carry down to my bunker. Because of your weight, I had to sleep and put some pain relief on my wings. Second, I was able to drug you and put you down here in this bunker four hours ago. Yes, I kidnapped you during our teatime, and now we are here...together." That last word ran a chill down my snake-like spine. Anyways all I know is I am getting creeped out by Fluttershy of all ponies. She continued her explanation, "Discord, we are on our honeymoon for about four weeks, and you can live with me forever."
Wait, honeymoon? What in Celestia's name is this mare talking about? I never proposed to her, and I never even confessed my feelings of liking her. I need to speed up her explanation and ask her straight up.
"Why am I locked up in this cage, Fluttershy, and how in the world did you steal my magic!? I said, hoping that will startle her since she is shy and hate when any creature raises their voice. Still, it was the same reaction; she just stared, not flinching an inch or trying to cover her face with that beautiful hair that has me in awe every time I see it. Now, her expression was more stoned than happy or excited. I think I made her mad, and that was the last thing I needed her to be right now.
"I was getting to that part, Discord." She said it with no emotion behind that, she just walked over to a wall, and out of the blue, the sun blinded me to the point I curled up to cover my head and eyes from the sun. I opened my eyes again; the abyss that surrounded me and Fluttershy had vanished and was replaced with a room that scared me to this day. She snuffs out the flames from the torch and sits back down in front of me, and smiles as she sees me exploring this new place. The room was with statues of me and pictures of me and words saying on the wall, "Together Forever." I officially wanted to vomit or cringe and wish for the dark void to return. Then Fluttershy finally spoke with amazement this time.
"Is this wonderful, Dissy, dear? Look at all the treasures I have collected...well, they are more memorabilia of our days together. You remember this Discord; these are the skates you first gave me when I tried to reform you. This here is the very first cup that you drool in by accident. I never washed it out because it still has your scent, and the hard part to preserve is this half-eaten crustless sandwich on one of our tea times together." I was shocked that she remembered some of my random Chaos at times, but this was weird even by Pinkie standards. I was continuing watching her, pointing her hoofs to each trophy that she collected that dealt with me.
When she focused on the trophies, I realized my collar and chain and the cell I was in. The collar was metal with blue nods around it, and the chain was made of gold, but it was glowing every time I touched it. Then she calls out my name again to get my attention, but when I turned back to her, all I see was her with a book in her hoofs. She gestures to take the book and open it. Out of impulse, I just did what she commanded, and I took the book with my claw and paw; she was wagging her tail like a dog waiting for me to open the book. I open the book, and all I saw were pictures of us or just me. Each page I flipped to was me doing stuff without her, but she had a photo of that; I was now confused that she could take these pictures without noticing she was nearby. The one that creeps me the most that caused me to throw the book away from me is when I saw a selfie of her in my dimension, in my room while I was sleeping.
"Do you like them?" she said as I tried to process what the heck is all this. Is this some sick nightmare that Luna is pulling on me right now? No way Fluttershy can be a stalker or some crazy pony who is obsessed with me. I have to give her an honest answer to show her this is not what a prize position was.
"No, I don't like them...I don't like any of this Fluttershy! Good prank, now let me go, and I promise I won't let no one else know about what happened here." I stared back at Fluttershy to get my point across, but she didn't budge nor look away; she again gives me a stare of real disappointment.
"I thought you would understand, but I figure you are still in shock that I put you in this cell," Fluttershy said.
I need to get answers, hoping I can use my own skill of manipulating others to get myself out of here, and don't want to see her again. "My dear Fluttershy, please, you said you would explain why I am in a cell."
I know she is getting irritated, but I cannot allow this to continue. I am Discord, and I wanted answers by whatever means necessary. She then stomps her hoof and frustration with a tear, finally running down her cheek. Seeing her in that state gives me the chills. Usually, I would try to comfort her and embrace her with my warmth and try to make her happy, but now I want to stay away from her because now I have no idea what she would do if I was near her. Then she finally responded and gave me a snare. "It is to keep you safe! Discord! To keep you away from those who plan to separate us from each other! I was supposed to be your one and only, and after the whole Starlight saving Equestria from Chrysalis rule, you have other ponies as friends than just me!" That makes no sense, and I love when things don't make sense, but she is an element of Friendship, and she was the mare who wanted me to have more friends, and why is that moment upsetting her? Even if I can argue with her about it, it would make her even angrier, so I just kept my mouth shut and listened. She still tells her story, ignoring the pure confused expression on my face.
"The moment you came to rescue us was the bravest thing ever, and I started to see a different light from you. I started to see the Discord that you could truly be, and your constant care for me was so noble, and I wanted it forever. Then it was the moment when you were willing to change and become normal for me. You would've erased yourself from existence to make me happy! Those moments made me realize that I had feelings for you the moment you changed your evil ways. Then you start spending time with other mares, acting like they are your friends more than me. At that moment, I was happy, but then you started hanging out way too much with Spike and Big Mac more than often. I LOVE YOU, DISCORD! I wanted to be with you, but you ignored me and started hanging out with other ponies. You start hanging out with them more and start seeing me less. 15 times you miss our tea times together, 15 times that you wanted us to reschedule just so you can hang out with who...Trixie! Bucking Trixie!"
My heart sank when I heard Fluttershy's reasoning behind her plan of capturing me like an animal. I didn't know this was what she felt when I wasn't hanging out with her...she felt left out or believed I abandoned her. Before I could cry inside from this heartache now in my chaotic chest...I felt- "Ahhhhh!" I scream in pain and feel like some unicorn zaps me with electricity magic, and a surge of energy transfers throughout my entire body. I flop onto the ground, twitching, and my muscles are tensed with pain. I was once again in control of my eyes and looked up at my captor, who just had a sly smile on her lips. Then she began to laugh like she saw something funny or thought my shock by 1100 volts was entertaining. Then she started to say something that got me back to reality.
"I can't believe it worked; I thought I lost nearly 250 worth of bits with this impressive shock collar." She was cheering and laughing, seeing me on the ground. Wait, did she say shock collar? I look at the mysterious collar around my neck and see it emanating blue lighting in the glass nodes. "If you keep ignoring me, Discord, you will feel 2000 watts of static electricity running through your whole body." it was a threat more than a genuine conversation, she stated coldly to me like she had no form of empathy at all. "Discord, my love, we are going to be together, and a healthy relationship needs to be 100% communication and 100% listening, am I clear". I look at her grudgingly, but I must play along if I want to escape this nightmare. I said, "crystal," and her response was just a smile and a nod.
"Perfect!" she said in her sweet familiar voice that I love so much but now want to cringe due to it being so twisted. "Now, Discord, we will have a wonderful honeymoon together. I have some much planned, and we will have so much fun...soon, all these pictures will be replaced with us here and in our new home."
I ask her in confusion, "Fluttershy, what do you mean, our new home? You don't mean we are living down here for the rest of our lives, right?"
"Of course not, silly Discord; how else are we going to raise our children in the small corner over there? I mean, our house in your dimension, once you 'understand' how much we need each other, then you and I will be together alone without any of those 'distractions.'"
"When you mean distractions, you mean separating us from our friends, Fluttershy." I retorted by triggering some emotional response hoping to find some form of vulnerability in her heart or mind, but I got a cold stare from her.
"My friends will soon understand when the time comes, but for now, they are the sole reason you haven't spent time with me." She replies with words of stillness.
"Fluttershy, please…I care for you and have feelings for you, but this isn't the way. Having me like an animal or whatever this capture supposes to be. It isn't worth it; I am not mad at you; I want to be let go, and I Pinkie Promise I will spend more time with you and no more missing our Tuesday Tea sessions." She turned around and stared at the wall of pictures of me, and she just took a deep sigh, and at that moment, all I felt was pain as the electricity ran through my entire body. I scream in agony for about a whole minute before it stops out of the blue. I was tearing up and breathing heavily as I couldn't move at all, still paralyzed on the cold stone floor.
"I don't like your lies, Discord. I don't like how you think I am some idiot pony who is always gullible." Fluttershy said, "This is why I have no choice but to keep you here until you understand that all you need is me! Not your friends who do not understand you, not those sluts you have been hanging out with, and not that stupid bitch Trixie! I am the only true friend and lover you need, Dissy! Only me, and I do not care if it takes four weeks or four months to make you understand that you need me. No, I will not let you leave, run away, and never see me again because that is exactly what you would've done. You will run to Twilight since you no longer have your chaos magic and cry on her throne and tell her how I torture you, which I did not torture; you just made a comfortable room for the two of us. Hoping that she will feel sorry for you, which, news flash, she won't because Discord, you have been lying and manipulating ponies all the time. They will think you are lying to them as we speak."
Her hollow eyes return, and her smile is more twisted than ever as she continues talking. "The moment Celestia trusted me with your heart, that was the moment you and I are meant to be together. You love me, Discord; deep down, you try to act cool and pretend that you see our relationship as friends, but you cannot stop dreaming about me. You could not resist sniffing my hair every time we hug each other or how you stared at my flank when you think I hadn't noticed when I was in full view. Don't feel ashamed because I do that too because I try to deny my feelings like you, but now I finally admit it, and I yearn for us to snuggle in bed together. No more lies, Discord, I am going to be honest with you, and now I can admit to you proudly that I Love You!"
I didn't know what feelings I had for Fluttershy; even if I did, they are replaced by terror and fear. "Don't worry, Discord; you don't need to say how you feel now because this is the process for us to reprogram you from your old ways. I know you are confused about your feelings, but we have the time in the world. When you truly love me, I will use Grogar's Bell and give you back your magic, and we can have children and live in your dimension for eternity."
The moment she said those words, the moment she told me that the Fluttershy that I loved and cared for was gone or never existed. I know that I am with a crazy mare who is willing to keep me here until I break. I wanted to beg her to let me go, but instead of praying for my release, I said, "You are crazy." It was too late for me to stop myself from saying those words, but she had already received the message and smiled at me and leaned close to the bars that were my cage, and whispered her few words. Those words will still haunt me for the rest of my life. Those exact words were, "Now you will love me."
