Rules on how to read “My Little Saint Seiya” Hi, my name is Linds! First off I would like to thank you for being interested in my fanfic. I hope you won’t treat this as waste of your time. To make sure, I’ve decided to add some advice about reading this story, because it can be a little confusing. 1. The story takes place in the Sanctuary saga during the war in 12 Palaces of Zodiac. 2. The main point there is the absence of most kinships known from MLP. The only one kinship, which is in the story, is kinship between Andromeda and Phoenix, Pegasus and his sister & Leo and Sagittarius Saint. I’ve made those decisions, because I didn’t want to change a lot in the Saint Seiya universe. Making those crossovers takes a lot of work. Creating new kinships would make this a Never-Ending Story and a lot of things known from Saint Seiya (for example Saint always supporting Bronze Saints) wouldn’t be possible after some time. 3. Characters are built as typical pony. 4. Sweetie Belle: * Saint - a warrior, knight wearing Cloth and using energy of the Cosmos to fight against enemies. In this crossover there are 3 groups: Bronze Saints, Silver Saints and Gold Saints. The last group being the most powerful and have the most resistant cloths. * Grand Pope – originally it’s Kyoko. * Cloth – special armor for one of Athena’s / Celestia’s Saints, for example Sagittarius Cloth is an armor for Sagittarius Saint. In this crossover “armor” will be used to describe regular soldier armor for ponies who are commanded by Grand Pope, but aren’t Saints. 5. I must warn you, I’m Polish and am still studying English so my skills aren’t too awesome. I’m already searching for an editor, who could help me with correcting my mistakes, but in the meantime I will try on my own. And I mainly know the polish version of Saint Seiya and the original names of characters and attacks. So I’m so sorry, if I make a stupid mistake. 6. I’m going to keep it a secret about who is which character, so that those characters aren’t talked about in a bad way. So don’t expect me to mention for example about Pope’s tone of voice. 7. Because most of characters there are female, I had to change a little rule about female saints with masks. Now masks are wearing only those female saints, which are in special group of Silver Saints. 8. If you don’t like my ideas for characters, you can make your own version of this fan fiction. You have my permission as long as you note that you’ve found your idea thanks me :) I hope you’ll enjoy this fanfic, because of what I’ve written in point 2; I won’t make crossovers in the world of Asgard, Poseidon or Hades. Prologue “Colgate!” “Hmm…” “Quick, wake up!” “What… mommy, not now…” “Come on Colgate, we have no time!” Colgate slowly opened her eyes. “For Celestia, what’s going on?!” asked blue, young pony very surprised by sight of also young, orange pony named Carrot Top, who was quickly collecting her arms. She was very upset. “Can’t you hear this?! There are sounding the alarm, we must appear near Palaces of Zodiacs!” “Alarm? Dammit!” shouted nervously Colgate and quickly woke up collecting her shield and spear. In the Grand Pope’s army she works from year. Since time of being a little foal she was dreaming about taking part in any big action. Now she had her chance at last. “Lead” Colgate told to her friend, then they ran to the village, where afraid citizens looked out of the windows to check what is going on. They were afraid that could be attack of Poseidon’s Marines or Hades’s Specters. The others – ponies, which also have not got an energy named Cosmo, but were serving in the military, were running to the place, where the alarm bells rang. Cosmo is a special energy of universe, which every saint of the Gods, like Celestia, could use in battle. Thanks this their attacks are stronger and their defence is more effective. But level of Cosmo is not same in every saint. Saints must train hard to discover their Cosmo, improve it level to higher and must learn how to use Cosmo. It was the middle of the night. Sky above village was cloudless and starry, same as sky above 12 Palaces of Zodiacs, which built on high parts of mountains and guarded by 12 Gold Saints, towered majestically over village separating it from Pope’s Chamber and a tower, which was located near that. On their top a blue pony could notice a big hole, where a little pieces were still falling from. Between 12 Palaces of Zodiacs and Pope’s Chamber was also another tower. It was a Clock Tower, where instead of numbers were sings of zodiacs and time was showed by blue flames above signs. In this tower was a bell, where sound were coming from. “I’m interested in what happened… Don’t you know Carrot why is alarm raised?” asked Colgate. “How should I know?” “Oh, welcome! I see the bells woke you up too!” called out Joe – burly unicorn, who quickly ran to those ponies keeping small sword in his hoof. “Come with me, I’ll lead you. We must appear near shortcut to Sagittarius Palace.” “What happened exactly?” asked orange pony. “So don’t you know anything?” answered Joe with raw face and after he sighted, said “We have got a traitor in the Sanctuary” “A traitor? And I guess we must capture him, it will be so awesome!” shouted Colgate making a “wub wub” face. “Yes, we have got. And we must capture him… her.” “Yeah!” “Calm down Colgate” Carrot Top told to blue pony. “But what happened rightly?” “Sagittarius Saint have tried to kill Celestia!” “WHAT?!” shocked two ponies shouted with citizens of village, which they were passing now. Then they could hear some comments like “How somebody dare to raise his hand to little foal!”, “Celestia just came back to Equestria after 240 years!”, “Shame, Gold Saints were disgraced!” or “Capture the traitor!”. Carrot Top was also hearing somepony calling “The horror, the horror!” and Joe could swear he heard another pony calling “Let’s ignore the gathering near shortcut and let’s to her home! We will ask a family, specially siblings about where the Saint escaped! They must know something!”. “Fortunately to her room on the top of tower had went Grand Pope and thwarted attack” Joe continued. “But the assassin had created a big hole in the wall and escaped through it before he was caught. Those Saint now is trying to escape from the Sanctuary taking the Sagittarius Cloth together.” “Haven’t those pony done enough today?” Carrot Top said indignantly. “There must be also cloth stoled?” “Carrot, what you can do about that…” “Don’t you understand it will be first time, when 12 Palaces of Zodiacs will be without all Gold Cloths?! Nopony know how it will affect the island! “You’re complaining now. It’s just one cloth, what its disappearing can cause?” “I don’t know. I’m afraid thinking about consequences. That’s why we must get back those cloth.” Colgate was trying to understand what is going on here, but she was not able to. She had knew Sagittarius Saint, she had a lot of help from those pony in trainings. She remembered those pony as person loyal to Sanctuary, diligently fulfilling missions and taking care of family and its honour. She also heard that Sagittarius was a candidate for Grand Pope! But Sagittarius resigned and soon after that in the Sanctuary started to happen strange things. Duh, weird is an understatement, because how describe a situation, when Grand Pope disappear somewhere with some Saints (with one Gold Saint too), without any traces? Luckily new Grand Pope was chosen quickly – those all Lord Arles, who brought orderliness. Now suddenly loyal Sagittarius is trying kill Celestia, attacking Grand Pope, stealing cloth and escaping? There must be something wrong… Joe interrupted her thoughts, who suddenly stopped, because they have reached place of meeting. It was a small gorge, which was going higher and higher and was ending beside Sagittarius Palace. Sagittarius Palace was built in Doric style in the ancient times. On the enter to the palace were 2 centaurs standing – it were ponies, which higher part of body had torso and hands, lower half was just like typical horse body. Their hands were keeping taut bows directed into sky, like danger had to come from there. Centaurs faces shows readiness to guard Sagittarius Palace. On the start of the road was an army of about 100 soldiers. In front of them was standing the biggest one. Orange earth pony with scary, little, black eyes and blue mane. On his very muscled body was shiny cloth in colours of black and red, with yellow patches – two on armlets and two in the middle of his chest. The lasts one were looking like eyes of scary monster. Those eyes were looking like those one decorating his helmet. In the final it was completed its destination – the other ponies were afraid of those guy, that is why he was respected. “Thank you for your quick arrival” said those pony. “Firstly I will introduce myself to those, who haven’t met me before. I’m Phaeton and my task is lead you to mission of capturing a traitor, those…” “It won’t be necessary” answered one voice behind speaker, then the whole crowd took a deep breath. Before everypony realised Phaeton being little stressed, he turned himself into direction of voice owner. “But how?” he told to hooded person, who was slowly stepping in his direction. Finally when pony reached him, hood was removed. It was female light-green unicorn with mane partly in white and partly in light-blue colours. “Oh, it’s Scorpio no Lyra!” whispered excited Joe. Colgate knew how much Joe was fascinated in Gold Saints, that is why every time he was seeing anyone of them he was trying to celebrate those moment in the best way he could. Whatever it was meaning… “Capricorn already finished this.” Some ponies and Colgate sighed unsatisfied. “But how?” “Normally. The traitor was trying to escape to port through shortcut under gorge. There he has met Capricorn Saint, who strongly hurt him and then he failed to the gorge.” Through all ponies went one big murmur. “I’ll also mention that abyss isn’t small and I don’t know if I could survive falling from those height” Lyra added, then whispering finished. “What about a child?” asked somepony from crowd. “Grand Pope let me inform you, Celestia is sleeping now safety in her tower.” “For sure?” asked Phaeton. “What, are you doubting Lord Arles’s words? Or maybe you also want to treat him?” Scorpius Saint answered angrily before Phaeton grew pale. “No, no, no, of course…” “So leave this place, there is nothing interesting to watch. And Phaeton?” “Yes?” “Grand Pope wants to see you tomorrow morning in Pope’s Chamber.” “Okay…” then Phaeton told to army: “As how you can see, mission had was completed before we started. Thank you all for arrival, I’m sure Grand Pope will appreciate your readiness for action. Now go back to the village and I wish you a good rest.” “Heh okay Colgate, let’s go…” Colgate hardly sighed again, before she ran after Carrot Top to their home. “Gosh, it was amazing! Scorpio Saint in the flesh! Damn, it was good Phaeton didn’t make her more angry, because he wouldn’t survive that” still talking Joe was the only one happy from unnecessary wakeup. “It’s nice you are satisfied” answered Colgate. “I was scared about what if her wrath could turn against us…” “Don’t be silly Colgate…” Carrot Top told to her friend, then she yawned. “That’s a pity that traitor is dead. I would like to kill Sagittarius Saint on my own, because of cancelling mine nice dream about carrots…” “Alright, here I’m turning to my home. Have a good night” – said Joe. “Goodnight.” “Excuse me?” To Colgate and Carrot Top went one older male pony. He had a beard, moustache and sideburns, every hair on his body was gray except fur, which was in light-brown colour. He was wearing suit and carrying a camera. “Heh, tourist “ said Carrot Top “How can we help you?” “I see all army coming back to the village and I am interested in case of safety of this place. I am just transit this village trying get to ruins of Celestia’s columns, when I am forced to stay here under threat of arrest, because of assassination or something…” “Mister…” “Mitsumasa. Mitsumasa Kido”. “So Mr Kido, yes. Now is safe here, so you can go further.” “Thank you. Could you also just show me a way?” “Sure” answered Colgate. Carrot Top in her soul thanked her friend for not leaving her to explain this. “You go to north. When you will find a monument of pony-philosopher… Ponyto or how he was… it’s not important, you will recognize this. There you must turn left and go about 10 minutes.” “Thank you good child. God bless you!” smiling Mitsumasa told to her, then he set off in the direction show by blue pony. At last Colgate came with Carrot Top to home to go to sleep. Both ponies never thought that action from this night will have its consequences 13 years later… //-------------------------------------------------------// Gold Arrow //-------------------------------------------------------// Gold Arrow You must apologize me for mistakes, but I'm without English editor. First one have forgotten about me, second ignored my case. 13 years later… In the cloudless day, high on the sky, there were 5 ponies travelling by plane. First of them was sitting near window getting bored to death.  It was white Pegasus with brown mane and eyes, which cutie mark was a red star hit by gold arrow. His name was Shooting Star and it was first of Bronze Saints. Bronze Saints is a group of saints, who wear cloths made by bronze. Everypony there come from land far  than Equestria – land named Japony. They were orphans growing together in one Child’s Home, where were founded by Mitsumasa Kido, who sent them to variety lands to let them getting Bronze Clothes. They were trained for one – to guard Celly from danger and fight for peace on the world. Shooting Star gained his abilities and Pegasus Cloth in Sanctuary placed in Equestria. He made this, because of only one reason – Mitsumasa guaranteed that he will find his sister, if Shooting Star get the cloth. Unfortunately, Mitsumasa died shortly before Pegasus came back and Foundation – which Celly gained after older pony – could not find her. Near Shooting Star was peacefully sitting a pink unicorn with green mane and eyes. His cutie mark was representing simply pic of galaxy. It was Galaxy Sparkle, second Bronze Saint. Maybe he never had parents, but he was not coming alone through life, because Galaxy Sparkle has got a brother – Pegasus named Featherly Flame. Against to Shooting Star, who was even combative, every time ready to fight, a unicorn was peaceful. He never liked battles, he was always looking for a way to avoid it. But it was hard being a Saint and no fight. Galaxy Sparkle gained Andromeda Cloth on Andromeda Island, far than Los Pegasus. Firstly he had to train on the Death Queen Island, but his brother took it on himself, then after surviving 5 years of the hell achieved Phoenix Cloth. But Featherly Flame was absent in the plane. But there was also next white pegasus with blond mane and blue eyes, who was sitting after Shooting Star. Front hooves he had covered with blue material and his cutie mark was a snowflake. It was Cygnus Saint named Diamond Dust, what was perfectly fitting to him, because one of his attack had same name, what helped him learn those attack in great way. Diamond Dust gained his cloth on cold Gryphons Land on the far north. He never had an easy life – comparing to his friends, he had a mother many years. She died in ship catastrophe on the seas near  Gryphons Land shortly before Mitsumasa sent him to training. Diamond Dust’s mother was an earth pony and he was too little foal to use his wings, so the last free place on the boat she left for him sacrificing her own life.  Pegasus was training his skills to be able to crush the ice separating him from the ship and taking mother’s body to make her a good funeral. The last stallion, who were travelling there was green with black mane. It was blinded Fabled Fall – Dragon Saint, who achieved his cloth in the Land of Five Hills in Dragon’s Land. To make this, he had to change a waterfall running direction, that is why his cutie mark presents a waterfall. He had lost his eyes after one fight with Silver Saints. Just it was fact that Grand Pope was sending his people against Bronze Saints in order to eliminate them and Celly. For long time they did not know why he was doing this. Then once time Bronze Saints discovered that Celly is an avatar of Celestia, who borns again every time, when the world is in dangerous by evil. At least they were believing in this, because officially Celestia was still living in her tower in Sanctuary and she was never leaving it. Once upon a time Grand Pope sent a Medusa Saint. To finish him, Fabled Fall had to damage his eyes to not be hit by Medusa Shield, who changed into a stone everypony, who were looking at this. The last pony travelling in this plane was a young mare. White alicorn with pink mane mentioned earlier - Celly. Celly was raised by Mitsumasa Kido, who have found her during travelling to Celestia's collumn ruins. There he had met a wounded pony - Sagittarius Saint, who gave him a baby and Sagittarius Cloth asking him for raising her and giving her safety. This pony claimed that foal is in danger and somepony tried to kill her, but it pony gave its life to safe her. The pony ordered give its Cloth for one of Bronze Saints, who had to arrive soon. So Mitsumasa had found them and took care of Celly as of his own granddaughter. But as it was mentioned earlier - he died before everypony came back from trainings. In turn in effect of some events have missed. Nopony know where it is. Ponies were travelling to the Sanctuary. After many unpleasant events caused by Grand Pope, they have decided it's time for confrontation. They believed in meeting with him and bringing a harmony in the Sanctuary. "I don't believe if Grand Pope is the real Grand Pope" said Shooting Star breaking silence at last. "I remember him from time, when I was training in Sanctuary. It was a good pony. How he could suddenly become an incarnate of devil?" "To be honest I suspect that somepony impersonate him" answered Celly. "I agree with this theory" said Fabled Fall. "But who could impersonate the most powerful pony in the Sanctuary?" "I guess it must be one of Gold Saints" answered Pegasus Saint. "But who?" Celly was lost in thought and remembered every 12 signs of zodiacs. Aries. Taurus. Gemini. Cancer. Leo. Virgo. Libra. Scorpio. Sagittarius. Capricorn. Aquarius. And Pisces. She did not mentioned it loudly, just thought, there is only one sign of zodiac presenting two faces. Gemini. "Passengers, please for attention. We are landing now." And some moments later a plane have landed, so everypony could see the legendary Sanctuary. But it was not speciall view. Everywhere they could notice only rocks. No flora, no fauna. Far on west they could slightly see a village. But it was not important now - to them was a hooded pony approaching. "Welcome. I guess you are Celly and her Saints" the pony said. "I got a task to receive and escort you to Pope's Chamber. Grand Pope is waiting there for you." "What? But how do he know we're coming?" asked Pegasus Saint. "I've sent him note" answered Celly, before everypony went with hooded pony. Some of Bronze Saints thought that sending a letter to Grand Pope was a stupid idea, but they did not decided tell this loudly. "Way to Pope's Chamber is not the easiest." said mysterious pony taking them in north direction, into the depths of island. "To get there you must go through 12 Palaces of Zodiacs guarded by Gold Saints". Ponies were walking silencely during some minutes. Then they reached blank square, where were 2 ways - one in the village direction, second was going to stone stairs leading to the hills and mountains. "This way is leading to Pope's Chamber" said their guide showing second way. "You are able to see from here first of 12 Palaces of Zodiacs. Palace of Aries." And it was true - when everypony looked at the top of stairs, they realized a small bulding looking like a temple. Above the ented of it was written "Aries". "But you are going to stay here." "Say what?!" The pony at last wore off his clothes showing his person. It was a yellow earth pony wearing a cloth, but they could not stare at his cloth, because the Saint jumped and started firing gold arrows. Pegasus Saint at last flew above arrows using his wings and focused his Cosmo in front right hoof. "PEGASUS RYU SEI KEN!" cried pushing his hoof forward him. Then from his hoof flew quickly a lot of attacks forming in a shape of metheors, which heavily wounded his opponent. Those landed on the ground. "There are your last minutes!". The adversary laughed. "So what? I, Ponymeus, Sagitta Saint, completed job..." "Say what?!" "Shooting Star!" Pegasus turned to Diamond Dust and that, what he saw, scared him. It was Celly, who felt on her knees. Every arrow were fake. Except one, which wounded Celly's heart. "Damn!" Shooting Star turned to Ponymeus. "Take back those arrow right now!" "It's impossible..." "Remove it!" Pegasus cried, then he ran to him and grasped his cloth. "Remove it, now!" "Only Grand Pope can remove the Gold Arrow..." In this moment there was a sound like something was lighted. Ponies looked there, where the sound was coming from. It was Clock Tower, where now were 12 glimmers lightning. "Grand Pope can remove Gold Arrow. But he must do this during 12 hours or arrow will drill her heart and she die." said Ponymeus in agony, then died. "So he will do this during a hour!" said Shooting Star preparing his wings to fly. "Shooting, wait!" Fabled Fall called him, but it was too late. Pegasus pony flew a little more than before. Suddenlly something rejected him and he landed on the ground crushing it a little. "What is going on here?!" "I was feeling some strange magic here. It must be some kind of secure to not let pegasus enemies coming quickly to Pope's Chamber". "So we're forced to go through Palaces of Zodiacs" said Diamond Dust. "It won't be easy, Gold Saints won't pass us up quickly." said Galaxy Sparkle. "Whoever will go, he will force to fight with every of them!" "In that case we have no choice" told Fabled Fall. "All of us must go to Grand Pope. One pony hasn't got any chance to defeat all enemies, not speaking already about coming there back with Grand Pope during 12 hours." "But what with Celly? She can't be alone here!" "Don't... don't worry about me" said alicorn, then she laid on the ground. "Celly!" "I must face up the pain, which will follow in the wake of the Gold Arrow, on my own. Go all there." Saints looked at themselves. They did not want to leave Celly. But it was not good time for discuss. "We promise you, we will back here with Grand Pope" said Shooting Star and ran with his friends to Palace of Aries. "I know" said silencely Celly herself. "I'm sure." And now a riddle!
