It Was Only Two Pieces Of Chocolate!
Everything in Canterlot seem peaceful enough, the ponys were minding their own business and enjoying their daily lives. Markets are open and ready to sell thier merchandise and products. Most of the royals are complaining and want certain things their way. Restaurants are opened for customers to enjoy either a fancy meal, or something more simple like Donut Joe's. Overall everything is at least a normal day.
That's is until a chaotic laughter is heard from above. Some ponies thought it's just Discord doing small chaotic pranks again. However, the laughter sound a bit too high pitched like a small colt laughing with hints of insanity. A small fireball hits one of the markets, anf the ponies scream in terror as they flee the area away from the menace that is causing all of this.
Discord watches nervously at the scene, knowing that he's in trouble enough it's not his fault and it was something beyond his control. He flinched as he hears the sound of flapping wings and hooves landing on the ground. It was Princess Luna who is not at all happy to see Discord nor that the fact that Discord had something to do with this.
Discord chuckles nervously while twiddling his fingers as Princess Luna was giving him a scolding glare while, tapping her hoof irritantily on the ground.
“Discord! What do you have to say for yourself?!” She shouted angrily at him. She was this close of using her Canterlot voice at the chaotic draconequus.
“Now now, dear moon princess there’s no need to get angry you’ll get grey hairs if you do.” He tried calming the angry dark blue alicorn, but she wasn’t having any of it.
“No need to get angry. No need!? Then explain this!” She uses her hoof and point out of the window of the Canterlot Castle, were a ghostly human child who’s flying around the city, He has messy blond hair wearing green clothes with brown belt and wearing brown boots on his feet. His eyes seemed to be the most unnerving black empty eye sockets with glowing red eyes and blood dripping on his face. Though that wasn’t the main issue, the issue was his eyes were a bit bigger than usual, along with maniacal laughter following suit.
“It was only two pieces of chocolate Luna.” Discord explains the situation. “Two pieces; I was only giving the kid a childhood he never had.”Discord shows Luna the chocolate bar with only two pieces of chocolate messing as evidence to show her that’s how chocolate the ghost child has eaten. “I mean what kind of child has never even had sugar in his lifetime?”
‘An abusive one ‘Luna thought to herself, she sighs as her glare soften up. Discord was only trying to help, nopony would knew the effects of what chocolate would have an effect on him, let alone a ghost.
“It should wear off soon since, I didn’t gave him much but let’s try to get him to settle down before—“
A big boom was heard was heard over across the castle, Luna face hoofed to herself.
“Of course.” She muttered softly to herself. “Come on lets go see the damages.” The draconequus and the moon alicorn teleported to the direction of the small explosion is located, thankfully no pony was hurt, thanks to her sister Celestia who evacuated everypony away from the explosion.
No houses were lucky unharmed but unfortunately some of the markets are either burned or destroyed. The sisters will have to use their bits to fix all the damages of the markets for their owners, the upper class will of course complained about it. But this was merely an accident they had no idea that a sweet would cause extreme sugar high on her newly adopted child. They both spotted the small crater on that one market that was selling cabbages, the burned leaves were scattered around. On the crater was with a certain ghost child, lying on ground giggling like mad.
“Ben? Are you alright?” Luna asks with a look of concern on her face.
He looked at two with his usually big red eyes glowing and smiles at them. “I’m vine err… I mean I’m fine” He then points to Luna’s crown. “You have a funny hat.” He giggled childishly.
“Ummm was chocolate was not supposed to do that right?” Discord asks Luna’
“No it shouldn’t have but there are few times foals do have sugar rushes but not like this so, he’s either having an extreme case of sugar rush or acting like he’s drunk.” She glances at Discord with suspicion.
“No way, moon princess this chocolate has no alcohol in it; zip, zilch, nada I would never ruin a good bar of chocolate like that, let alone give alcohol to a child.” He explains “Besides how can two pieces of chocolate can make you drunk! It’s only chocolate, chocolate!”
Ben’s eyes widen with remembrance of that last bit of what Discord has said. He gave him a creepy grin on his face. “That’s what they say about Chateau Milk, who knew milk can make somebody drunk.”
Discord’s jaw dropped comedy “how could—“
“That’s enough about that, come along Ben let’s go back to castle, so you can rest this off.” As she said this Ben had already fallen asleep, she chuckles softy as she gently picks him up with her magic and places him on her back, as teleports back to the castle leaving Discord on his own.
Discord sighs to himself as he fixes most of the damages and repairs the markets as if they weren't destroyed in the first place. Although he may have pranked some of the few complaning spoiled rich ponies for a few quick laughs.
“Note to self, only give him a little bit of sugar next time.” He mutters to himself as he teleports himself back to Ponyville. Although, the idea of teaching the kid a some chaotic magic was an idea he had in mind perhaps another time.
